Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition having effects of preventing and relieving scalp aging and preventing hair loss.
Background
With advanced modern medicine, medical techniques have been developed for the remediation and treatment of many of a wide variety of diseases that have life-threatening effects. However, in terms of social development, aesthetic aspects are considered to be quite important, and thus alopecia has become a social problem.
Generally, human hair is about 100,000 to 150,000 in number, has different growth cycles, and generally grows or falls during three stages of a growth phase, a catagen phase, and a resting phase. Generally, alopecia refers to an increase in the number of abnormally shed hairs due to a decrease in the growth rate of hairs in the anagen phase while an increase in the number of hairs shed in the catagen and telogen phases.
The known causes of hair loss in the art that have been discussed may include various influencing factors such as age, season, race, physiological factors and diseases, and various causes including 1) hyperandrogenism, 2) excessive sebum secretion, 3) poor blood circulation, 4) deterioration of scalp function due to peroxides and bacteria, 5) genetic factors, 6) aging, 7) stress, and the like.
It is well known that scalp diseases such as dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis are accompanied in the early stages of alopecia as typical early symptoms. Specifically, scalp inflammation is known to be caused by the following factors: physical factors include, for example, hypersensitivity of the skin to various pollutants or bacteria, excessive sebum production due to dysfunction of the endocrine system, autonomic nerve disorder, or circulatory system dysfunction such as blood circulation disorder, insufficient nutrition of hair follicles, allergy, bacterial infection, etc.; genetic factors such as hormonal effects; environmental factors include, for example, various contaminations, processed foods as mainstream foods, shampoos, soaps, mousses, hair sprays, permanent waves, dyes, hair dryers, detergents and the like; as well as mental and/or social factors and aging of modern people who are often exposed to excessive stress, all of which may be influenced in combination.
For the above reasons, patients suffering from alopecia are rapidly increasing, and the demand for prevention of alopecia and hair growth is expected to increase to a greater extent.
However, there are various products for preventing hair loss, which contain active ingredients for promoting blood circulation, hair root enhancement effect, scalp heat preservation effect, dandruff removal effect, antioxidant effect, growth period prolonging effect, androgen function inhibition, and the like. However, few of such prior formulations have proven to have significant efficacy in terms of efficacy and occasionally produce side effects.
Therefore, an anti-alopecia agent using a natural extract with little side effect is still being developed.
As a prior art relating to such an anti-alopecia agent using a natural extract, korean patent registration No. 10-1780692 (patent document 1) is exemplified. The patent relates to a composition for preventing hair loss or promoting hair growth, which comprises a mixed extract of green tea and emblic leafflower fruit (gooseberry) or a mixed extract of houttuynia cordata, green tea and hibiscus syriacus as an effective ingredient, and discloses a natural complex extract. However, the extract is significantly different from the natural material of the present invention in terms of the effective ingredient.

When the content of dexpanthenol is less than 0.05 wt.%, the efficacy and effect may not be significant, and when the content thereof exceeds 15 wt.%, the effect is not further improved, and problems of poor usability and poor stability may occur.
To further improve the effect of the anti-alopecia agent composition for protecting, alleviating and preventing scalp aging, the composition may further include one or more additional extracts selected from retinol, tocopherol, ascorbic acid, collagen, acanthopanax senticosus bark extract, echinacea extract, bantam root (calamus) extract, thistle flower/leaf/stem extract, propolis extract, purslane extract, garcinia mangostana (commonly referred to as 'broadleaf bamboo') extract and horse fat.
The above retinol is one of vitamin a, and plays an important role in maintaining the original function of epidermal cells of the skin. In particular, it is an effective ingredient for improving wrinkles and preventing skin aging.
The above tocopherol is one of vitamin E, which is an oil-soluble vitamin and has an antioxidant effect to inhibit oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids constituting cell membranes, thereby preventing cell membrane damage and further preventing tissue damage. In particular, tocopherol is a component having effects of inhibiting aging and maintaining high skin elasticity.
The above ascorbic acid is one of water-soluble vitamins, i.e., vitamin C, which is an antioxidant, and can protect the body from active oxygen to prevent cell oxidation, and also plays an important role in protecting the skin from ultraviolet rays.
When the above collagen is added to cosmetics, it is a component that significantly improves the moisturizing effect and, in particular, improves the texture and thus enhances the feeling in use.
The Acanthopanax senticosus harms is a plant belonging to Araliaceae in Jizhou island, which is a native region.
Since korean time ago, acanthopanax has been used for medicinal purposes, the shell of root, stem and branches thereof is called acanthopanax bark (bark), and the leaves are called acanthopanax leaves (leaves). According to the korean ancient medical list named 'eastern medicine, it is known that the plant can enhance the body's resistance to biotic stress, and particularly, the above acanthopanax senticosus bark fruit extract has excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
The echinacea extract has NO cytotoxicity, and has excellent anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting various cytokines and NO activity mediated by inflammatory reaction. The extract may be very effective in preventing skin aging and strengthening skin barrier due to high antioxidant effect.
The above-mentioned sweet flag is distributed in korea, japan and china. This is a perennial herb belonging to the family of the Araceae growing in ponds or ditches. In oriental medicine, this contributes to the function of organs such as eyes, nose, mouth, ears, urethra, and anus in the human body to improve the detoxifying function of toxins excreted from the body, and may have high antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. Therefore, "there is a korean tradition of washing hair and bathing with boiled water while adding a sweet flag thereto. In particular, calamus is excellent for improving weak constitution, and essential oil of Douglas fir is known for promoting blood circulation and recovering from pain and fatigue, and in particular, Douglas fir shows excellent antioxidant effect.
The thistle is a perennial plant of the family Compositae. The flower/leaf/stem extract of Cirsium japonicum can enhance the activity of ARE protein related to antioxidant protein Nrf-2. Thus, the application of the whole thistle extract to the skin can achieve an excellent effect of preventing skin aging due to active oxygen while maintaining the homeostasis of the skin that is frequently exposed to the outside and stress.
The propolis has high content of organic substances and minerals. In particular, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, fats, organic acids, flavonoids, etc. play an important role in cell metabolism, terpenes, etc. have anticancer activity, and flavonoids contribute to health promotion. Propolis has antiinflammatory, antioxidant and immunity enhancing effects.
The aforementioned purslane has leaves shaped like the teeth of horses, and has the meaning of field weeds with a purple color, in other words, called "purslane".
Purslane is known to contain a common omega-3 fatty acid, which is one of the unsaturated fatty acids. The purslane extract has excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
The above-mentioned northern bamboo is a monocotyledonous ('single seed-leaf') plant in the family oryza sativa, which is distributed in korea and japan. In particular, it is known that the denafil-broad-leaved bamboos distributed in denafil island are hard in cold and snow and have a life span of 60 to 120 years, and show anticancer and antioxidant effects, in particular, have very high moisturizing effects.
The above-mentioned horse fat is an excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient, and can prevent skin aging while retaining skin homeostasis by improving ARE activity associated with antioxidant protein Nrf-2.
Further, although the above-mentioned extracts, i.e., acanthopanax senticosus bark fruit extract, echinacea purpurea extract, calamus extract, thistle flower/leaf/stem extract, propolis extract, purslane extract, jizhou broadleaf bamboo extract, and horse fat are not particularly limited in geographical aspects, the jizhou island, which is a clean area and is recognized as a biosphere protection area by the united nations textbook organization (UNESCO), is preferably a native geographical area of the above-mentioned extracts.
Retinol, tocopherol, ascorbic acid, collagen, acanthopanax senticosus acanthopanax bark fruit extract, echinacea purpurea extract, calamus extract, thistle flower/leaf/stem extract, propolis extract, purslane extract, chezhou broadleaf bamboo extract and horse fat may range from 0.01 wt.% to 20 wt.%, more preferably from 0.1 wt.% to 10 wt.%, based on the total weight of the composition.
In view of the above results, the anti-alopecia agent composition according to the present invention may not only have excellent efficacy as an anti-alopecia agent, but also protect, alleviate and/or prevent scalp aging. Therefore, it is apparent that the acceleration of the alopecia possibly caused by the above-mentioned reasons can be reduced and improved.
In addition, the anti-hair loss agent composition may be manufactured in preparations such as cream, lotion, essence, lotion, tonic, mist, and the like, and may be used to obtain a healthier scalp by applying the composition to the scalp, particularly, in order to protect, alleviate, and/or prevent the scalp from aging.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be further described by way of preparation examples and experimental examples. These examples are intended to further illustrate the invention and the scope of the invention should not be limited to these examples.
Preparation ofExamples
Examples 1 to 7 and comparative examples 1 to 2
According to the composition ratios in preparation examples 1 to 7 and comparative examples 1 to 2 described in the following table 1, purified water, glycerin, butylene glycol, 1, 2-hexanediol, disodium EDTA were dissolved and heated to about 70 ℃ to prepare solution 1. Further, caprylic/capric triglyceride, triethylhexanoic acid glyceride, cetearyl alcohol, cyclopentasiloxane, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and cyclohexasiloxane were mixed with a surfactant such as polysorbate 60, PEG-100 stearate, glyceryl stearate, and sorbitan stearate, and then the mixture was heated to about 70 ℃ to dissolve it, thereby preparing a solution 2. Add prepared solution 2 to solution 1, mix, emulsify and cool. Then, component 3 was added to the above mixture and uniformly mixed to prepare an anti-alopecia composition having an effect of alleviating scalp aging.
[ Table 1]
Experimental example 1
The anti-alopecia agent having effects of protecting, alleviating and preventing scalp aging, prepared according to the above table 1, was applied to each of 18 adult men and adult women in the morning and evening, respectively, after shampooing. After 6 months, the increase/decrease of hair loss, hair thickness and hair density after washing his/her hair were measured by a known evaluation method, and the average values thereof were calculated and evaluated.
1) Measurement of the rate of change of Hair loss after shampooing
The application of the alopecia agent having the effect of protecting, alleviating and/or preventing scalp aging according to the present invention was performed on a total of 18 adult men and adult women who had symptoms of alopecia. Two of those men and women, before use of the composition and after 6 months of use of the composition, were subjected to measurement of the number of hairs lost after washing his/her hair, and the results of the measurement were evaluated according to the evaluation criteria listed in the following table 2. The evaluation results are shown in tables 3 to 5 below.
[ Table 2]
Item | Change in hair loss amount |
1 | Increase of |
2 | Without change |
3 | The reduction is less than 10 percent |
4 | The reduction is between 11 and 30 percent |
5 | Reduction by 31% or more |
[ Table 3]
As shown in table 3 above, it can be seen that the number of hairs dropped in examples 1 to 7 using the anti-hair loss agent capable of protecting, alleviating and/or preventing scalp aging according to the present invention is more significantly reduced than the number of hairs dropped in comparative examples 1 to 2.
2) Measurement of Hair thickness (Hair diameter (nm))
The thickness of the hair was measured by a hair photograph (Phototrichogram), and the measuring instrument used herein was folliscope4.0(Lead M, korea), which is a device for analyzing hair characteristics based on photographs taken using a high-resolution digital sketch camera. The test site was measured with a measuring instrument.
The measurement method is carried out in a predetermined area (1 cm)2) And the average of the thicknesses of 5 hairs in the hair of the area was used as evaluation data. The evaluation results are shown in table 4 and fig. 1.
[ Table 4]
As shown in table 4 above, it can be seen that the increase in hair thickness is more significant in examples 1 to 7 using the anti-depilation agent capable of protecting, alleviating and preventing scalp aging according to the present invention, compared to the hair thickness in comparative examples 1 to 2.
3) Measurement of Hair Density (Hair diameter (nm))
The hair density is measured by a hair photographic image (Phototrichogram), and the measuring instrument used herein is folliscope4.0(Lead M, korea), which is a device for analyzing hair characteristics based on photographs taken using a high-resolution digital sketch camera. The test site was measured with a measuring instrument.
The measurement method is carried out in a predetermined area (1 cm)2) Is performed on the scalp, and the number of hairs in the area is used as evaluation data. The evaluation results are shown in table 5 below.
[ Table 5]
As shown in table 5 above, it can be seen that the hair density in each of examples 1 to 7 using the anti-depilation agent capable of protecting, alleviating and preventing scalp aging according to the present invention is increased more significantly than that of comparative examples 1 to 2. As for the comparative examples, there was no change in hair density before and after 6 months of use, whereas examples 1-7 showed an increase in hair density to 101-122% relative to the initial value.
Experimental example 2
The anti-alopecia agent having effects of protecting, alleviating and preventing scalp aging, prepared according to table 1 above, was applied to each of 9 adult males and females in the morning and evening, respectively, after shampooing. After 6 months, hairline elasticity and scalp moisture content were determined by known evaluation methods. The results are shown in tables 6 and 7 below.
1) Determination of elasticity of hairline
For determination of elasticity of hairline, the elasticity of hairline has been measured using a specific feature that scalp becomes less elastic as scalp ages and hairline as a boundary portion between forehead and head drop. The measuring instrument used here was a Cutomer CM580, and the test site for measurement was the hairline portion at the tip of the forehead.
The measurement is carried out on the same site before and after using the anti-hair loss agent capable of protecting, alleviating and/or preventing scalp aging according to the present invention, and R is2The (skin re-elasticity) value was used as skin elasticity evaluation data. R2The value is overall elasticity, meaning that the skin is more elastic when the value is close to 1.
[ Table 6]
As shown in table 6 above, it can be seen that the hairline elasticity in examples 1 to 7 using the anti-alopecia agent capable of protecting, alleviating and/or preventing scalp aging according to the present invention is more significantly increased than that in comparative examples 1 to 2. For comparative examples 1-2, the hair density was changed to 98% and 108% before and after 6 months of use, respectively, whereas examples 1-7 showed an increase in hair density to 147% of 112-.
2) Measurement of scalp moisture content
The moisture content of the scalp was measured using a Corneometer CM825(Courage-Khazaka electronic GmbH, Germany). Three measurements were made by the sensor in contact with the skin by the Corneometer probe and the average was used as evaluation data for the moisture content of the skin.
Corneometer is a device that essentially treats skin as a non-conductive material and applies the principle that the higher the water content, the greater the current through the skin. The apparatus measures the capacitance of the part contacted by the probe. Therefore, the moisture content and the capacitance are proportional to each other, and it is understood that the higher the measured value, the higher the moisture content. The moisture content at a depth of 30-40 microns below the stratum corneum layer of the skin is constantly measured in arbitrary units (A.U).
[ Table 7]
As for the human body, aging progresses faster as the moisture content decreases. In Table 7 above, when the composition in each of comparative examples 1-2 was used, the moisture content was slightly increased than before use. However, examples 1 to 7 using the anti-hair loss agent composition for alleviating scalp aging according to the present invention showed that the scalp moisture content was increased by 300-900% compared to before use.
According to the combination of the alopecia prevention effect, the scalp aging prevention effect, the hair loss alleviation effect, and/or the scalp aging prevention effect in experimental example 1 and experimental example 2, the use of the anti-alopecia agent composition according to the present invention can reduce hair loss while increasing hair thickness and hair density. It is predicted that these results can be obtained by protecting, alleviating and improving scalp aging, such as increasing the moisture content of the scalp, increasing the elasticity of the hairline, and the like.
