Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及利用层压薄膜形成压印水泡的方法,其中,可以在该水泡内浇注物体。这样的水泡通常由聚合物薄膜构成。
背景技术
水泡薄膜特别适合于浇注包括化学药品在内的易碎物品,这些物品通常要用冻干法或者冷冻干燥法进行处理,当然,也可以使用一些诸如固态溶解等类的技术进行处理。液态的材料倒入水泡中后,在水泡内经过各种处理。制成的产品将保留在水泡内,直到使用时才将它们取出,并且,在这个阶段,产品是很容易取出的。
聚合物水泡薄膜的缺点是其可浸透性。因此,无论水泡个体经过如何良好的密封,如果水泡中的物品必须要与周围空气隔绝(以得到保护)的话,就总是存在一种潜在的储藏问题。为此,开发出了一种层压水泡薄膜,该层压薄膜与单纯由聚合物构成的薄膜相比不易浸透。但是,某些已知的薄膜可能会在经受热处理的时候变形,从而会导致浇注出的产品不规则,并且使得随后进行的水泡包的处理更困难。虽然现在已经开发出了一些在热处理条件下更可靠的层压薄膜,例如参见本公司申请的欧洲专利Nos.0646367和0710101,但这些层压薄膜基本上都不适合在其上进行水泡的热加工成形。通常由铝构成的金属箔层更适合于冷加工成形。
目前迫切需要提供一种在上述水泡薄膜中形成的产品上施加持久性印记的技术。为此,可以在一种热成形水泡的内表面上形成印记,然后再将该印记转印到被浇注的产品的表面上。
在我们同日提交的以英国专利申请Nos.9717491.6和9718382.6为优先权基础的国际专利申请中,我们已经强调了用本发明所涉及的层压薄膜形成水泡本身以及同时在所形成的水泡底部形成印记的难度。上述申请中,在所采取的两阶段工艺的第二阶段形成印记的过程中遇到一些问题,其中,在第一阶段形成水泡本身。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种制造压印水泡的方法,其中压印水泡是在控制层压薄膜的拉伸的同时,通过一个将水泡和印记的成形结合在一起的单一步骤形成。因此,可降低在层压薄膜中发生损坏、削弱或断裂区域等情况发生的可能性。
为达到上述目的,本发明提出一种利用层压薄膜形成压印水泡的方法,该层压薄膜包括一金属箔和位于该金属箔任一侧面上的一聚合物层,该水泡底部带有突出印记,以便模压在水泡内的浇注物体上,其中,该方法包括将一个冲头沿横向于薄膜平面的方向送进并压合到一个带有印记成型模的压板上,以对水泡进行冷成形,冲头的端面上形成一个与压板上的印记成型模互补的印记模子,冲头向着压板移动时主要使水泡周围的薄膜得到拉伸,而使水泡底部的薄膜的拉伸降至最小。
根据本发明,前述的两阶段成型过程可以在形成水泡时对层压薄膜的拉伸(延展)进行有效控制的前提下,由水泡成形冲头或冲子一次通过而完成。根据本发明,水泡是通过将冲头沿横向于薄膜平面的方向送进并压合到一个带有一印记成型模的压板上的方式冷成形加工而成的。冲头的端面上形成有一个与压板上的模子互补的印记模,并且冲头朝压板移动的时候,主要是将水泡周围的薄膜进行拉伸,因此,水泡底部的薄膜的拉伸降到了最小。其结果是,在对底部的薄膜进一步拉伸以形成印记之前,需要较少的回复时间,而所述印记便可以在冲头或冲子一次通过的最后阶段形成。
为了确保冲头开始移动的时候,主要是水泡周围的薄膜受到拉伸而不是水泡底部的薄膜受拉伸,可以在冲头的端面周围和层压薄膜之间形成较大的摩擦接触。在一定程度上,如果围绕模子的端面基本上平整的话,这一点可以通过冲头端面上的模子结构来实现。当然,如果围绕模子的端面设计成略微内凹的话,效果会更好,这样,将形成一个周向边缘,其可以提供附加夹紧作用。
当冲头朝压板移动的时候,冲头的形状也会极大地影响薄膜的拉伸方式。已经发现,两个或多个连续相邻的截头圆锥部分是比较适宜的,最好是,与端面相邻的截头圆锥的顶角大致为60°,而与之相邻的截头圆锥的顶角大致为30°。
另一种在形成水泡的时候获得不同的薄膜拉伸效果的方法是在冲头端面和侧面上使用不同的材料。在本发明所述的方法中,冲头所用的材料最好是不锈钢或聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)。或者,冲头以及端面均由不锈钢制成,而冲头侧面上则涂敷有聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)。

具体实施方式
图1中,本发明所述薄膜4的上方布置有一个冲头或冲子2,薄膜4包含有在其任一面上涂敷有一层聚合物层的金属箔。向着冲头2的下端,有两个相邻的、向着端面10倾斜的截头圆锥侧面6和8,在端面10上具有以在最终成型的水泡底部形成印记的模子。
薄膜4采用公知方式被夹紧,并如图2所示,冲头2向着一个带有印记成型模14的压板12压下。在如图2所示的开始阶段,薄膜的拉伸相对而言是比较一致的,当然,在逐渐增大的压力下,端面10的边缘与薄膜4保持接触。这样,当冲头到达如图3所示的最终位置时,所形成的水泡底部的拉伸最小,同时,薄膜从围绕水泡的区域上被拉伸。其结果是,在冲头对着压板12最终压下的过程中,在水泡自身成型的同时,也在其底部形成了印记。这主要发生在冲头的最后几毫米的移动过程中,通常是在最后0.3到0.5毫米的移动过程中。印记的深度通常也在这个范围内。
图4所示是冲头取出时的情况,并显示出了层压薄膜向上回弹,并从压板12上升起的情况。应注意的是,压板12和确定出在其中形成水泡的凹槽的环绕底座16它们本身并不构成层压薄膜赖以成型的模子。冲头2决定了水泡的整体形状,只有印记是从两侧通过相对的两个表面压制而成的。
应理解的是,本发明的这种用于将印记转印到浇注物体表面上的方法应作最广泛的理解。因此,印记应包括各种形式,特别是包括那些纯功能性的印记,例如形成断裂线的印记。断裂线通常用在口服药片上,因为在特殊情况下,仅需要服用药片的一部分。因此,本发明在使水泡包内的浇注产品的表面上形成印记(该印记具有或包括一条断裂线)方面具有特殊的价值。在这一点上应可理解,断裂线可以通过一系列压痕或凹痕形成;当然,并不是在所有情况下凹痕都必须是连续的。重要的是,要在浇注产品上形成一条薄弱线,以使产品能轻易地断裂成由断裂线确定出的一片或多片。
Claims (6)
1.一种利用层压薄膜形成压印水泡的方法,该层压薄膜包括一金属箔和位于该金属箔任一侧面上的一聚合物层,该水泡底部带有突出印记,以便模压在水泡内的浇注物体上,其特征在于,该方法包括将一个冲头沿横向于薄膜平面的方向送进并压合到一个带有印记成型模的压板上,以对水泡进行冷成形,冲头的端面上形成一个与压板上的印记成型模互补的印记模子,冲头向着压板移动时主要使水泡周围的薄膜得到拉伸,而使水泡底部的薄膜的拉伸降至最小。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,冲头的端面和侧面由不同材料制成。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,冲头的侧面设计成从端面开始逐步地与薄膜接触。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,冲头由与端面相邻的至少两个连续的截头圆锥部分构成。
5.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,围绕着模子的冲头端面是平的。
6.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,围绕着模子的冲头端面是凹入的,并形成一个周向边缘。
