Abstract

[课题]提供一种密封装置,该密封装置不会因密封圈的弹性而产生插入阻力、旋转阻力,从而能够顺利地进行组装作业。[解决手段]一种密封装置,其具有:壳体(12);密封环(13),以能够沿轴向移位的方式插入于壳体12的内周,并具有前端面(13a)和划定密封圈安装空间(13c)的后端面(13b);密封圈(14),对壳体(12)和密封环(13)之间进行密封,并配置于密封圈安装空间(13c);和弹簧装置(15),配置于密封环(13)的后端面(13b)侧并对密封环(13)向前端面(13a)侧弹性施力。

Description

密封装置及其组装方法
技术领域
本发明涉及密封装置及其组装方法。
背景技术
近年,在汽车相关的领域,由于环境问题,加速了低油耗车的开发,为了改善油耗性能,开发了将油、冷却水等流体作为控制对象的流量控制阀。在流量控制阀组装有阀用密封件。
作为现有的阀用密封件,已知有图5所示的密封装置111(日本特开2015-96747号公报、以下称为“专利文献1”)。在现有的密封装置111中,被弹簧装置115弹性施力的密封环113的前端面113a被按压于阀转子121的外表面121a,从而对密封环113和阀转子121之间进行密封。另外,通过配置于壳体112和密封环113之间的密封圈(packing)114将壳体112和密封环113之间的间隙c密封。
需要说明的是,由于阀转子121的外表面121a大多形成为球面状或圆筒面状,所以与此相对应,密封环113的前端面113a也形成为球面状或圆筒面状。
发明内容
发明所要解决的技术问题
如图5所示,阀转子121的外表面121a为圆筒面状,与此相对应,密封环113的前端面113a也为圆筒面状,在这种情况下,为了使密封环113的前端面113a在环整周均与阀转子121的外表面121a接触,需要使成为密封环113的前端面113a的圆筒面的中心轴线相对于成为阀转子121的外表面121a的圆筒面的中心轴线正确地对位。
另一方面,在专利文献1中,在形成于壳体112的内周面112a的密封圈安装槽112b中安装有密封圈114。因此,组装密封装置111时,如图6所示,先将密封圈114安装于密封圈安装槽112b,然后再将密封环113从后面插入于壳体112的内周。
即,在将密封环113插入于壳体112的内周时,已经在密封圈安装槽112b中安装有密封圈114了。因此,插入密封环113时因密封圈114的弹性而产生插入阻力。另外,此后,为了使成为密封环113的前端面113a的圆筒面的中心轴线相对于成为阀转子121的外表面121a的圆筒面的中心轴线正确地对位,当欲使密封环113在环圆周方向相对于壳体112旋转时,因密封圈114的弹性而产生旋转阻力。由于因密封圈114的弹性而产生插入阻力、旋转阻力,因而存在无法顺利地进行组装作业的情况。
本发明的目的在于提供一种不产生因密封圈的弹性而导致的插入阻力、旋转阻力从而能够顺利地进行组装作业的密封装置和其组装方法。
用于解决技术问题的手段
本发明的密封装置,具有:
壳体;
密封环,以能够沿轴向移位的方式插入于所述壳体的内周,所述密封环具有前端面和划定密封圈安装空间的后端面;
密封圈,对所述壳体和所述密封环之间进行密封,配置于所述密封圈安装空间;和
弹簧装置,配置于所述密封环的后端面侧,并对所述密封环向前端面侧弹性施力。
本发明的密封装置的组装方法是:
将密封环插入于壳体的内周,
接下来,将密封圈插入于由所述密封环的后端面划定的密封圈安装空间,并对所述壳体与所述密封环之间进行密封,
接下来,从所述密封环的后端面侧插入弹簧装置,所述弹簧装置对所述密封环向所述密封环的前端面侧弹性施力。
发明效果
根据本发明,不会产生因密封圈弹性导致的插入阻力、旋转阻力,从而能够顺利地进行密封装置的组装作业。

具体实施方式
<第1实施方式>
参照图1,说明本实施方式的密封装置。本实施方式的密封装置11是用于流量控制阀的阀用密封件,所述流量控制阀在汽车相关的领域中是以油、冷却水等流体为控制对象的流量控制阀。阀转子21是供密封环13以能够滑动的方式接触的对象部件。阀转子21具有圆筒面状的外表面21a。另外,在外表面21a形成有多个端口孔22。需要说明的是,在图1中仅示出一个端口孔22。
密封装置11具有壳体(密封壳体)12、密封环13、密封圈14和弹簧装置15。壳体12为筒状,具有圆筒面状的内周面12a。密封环13以能够沿轴向移位的方式插入于壳体12的内周,并在前端面13a(图1中的上端)以能够滑动的方式与阀转子21的外表面21a接触。密封圈14配置于壳体12和密封环13之间且将壳体12和密封环13之间的间隙c密封。密封圈14例如是O型圈。弹簧装置15配置于密封环13的后端面13b(图1中的下端)侧,并对密封环13朝向阀转子21弹性施力。弹簧装置15例如是螺旋弹簧。
密封环13由PTFE(聚四氟乙烯)等低摩擦材料形成。
如图2的(A)(B)所示,与阀转子21的外表面21a形成为圆筒面状这一情况相对应地,密封环13的前端面13a以能够在环整周接触的方式形成为对应的圆筒面状。
在密封环13的后端面13b形成有环状的渐缩(taper)面13d。由此,用于安装密封圈14的环状的密封圈安装空间13c被密封环13的后端面13b划定。即,密封圈安装空间13c被划定为截面为三角形状的空间。当在密封圈安装空间13c安装有密封圈14时,密封圈14分别与密封环13的渐缩面13d和壳体12的内周面12a接触,并将壳体12和密封环13之间的间隙c密封。
需要说明的是,在将PTFE等粉末材料压实于模具中成型的情况下,具有渐缩面13d的密封环13的成型性优异。
另外,为了防止密封圈14从密封圈安装空间13c脱落,也可以在密封环13的后端面13b组合碟形板状的挡环16。在这样的情况下,弹簧装置15隔着挡环16对密封环13弹性施力。另外,虽然没有图示,但是也可以将作为弹簧承受部(支承弹簧装置15的后端部)的挡环从后面组合于壳体12的后端部内周。
接下来,参照图3,说明本实施方式的密封装置11的组装方法。首先,从壳体12的后端部侧插入密封环13。接下来,从壳体12的后端部侧将密封圈14插入于密封圈安装空间(13c)。接下来,从壳体12的后端部侧插入挡环16。最后,从壳体12的后端部侧插入弹簧装置15。
需要说明的是,也可以省略挡环16的插入。
另外,也可以在插入弹簧装置15之后,从壳体12的后端部侧插入挡环。
根据本实施方式,在将密封圈14安装于壳体12的内周之前插入密封环13。因此,插入密封环13时不会产生因密封圈14的弹性而导致的插入阻力、旋转阻力,从而能够顺利地进行密封装置11的组装作业。
<第2实施方式>
参照图4,说明本实施方式的密封装置。需要说明的是,本实施方式的密封装置的结构基本上与第1实施方式的密封装置相同。因此,对于与第1实施方式相同的结构使用相同的附图标记而省略详细的说明,以下对与第1实施方式不同的结构进行说明。
具体而言,关于本实施方式的密封装置11,其密封环13的后端面13b的结构与第1实施方式不同。在本实施方式的密封环13的后端面13b形成有具有矩形截面的环状的槽13e。即,密封圈安装空间13c被划定为截面为四边形状的空间。当在密封圈安装空间13c安装有密封圈14时,密封圈14分别与密封环13的槽13e和壳体12的内周面12a接触,并将壳体12和密封环13之间的间隙c密封。
接下来,说明本实施方式的密封装置11的组装方法。首先,从壳体12的后端部侧插入密封环13。接下来,从壳体12的后端部侧将密封圈14插入于由槽13e划定的密封圈安装空间(13c)。接下来,从壳体12的后端部侧插入挡环16。最后,从壳体12的后端部侧插入弹簧装置15。
需要说明的是,也可以省略挡环16的插入。
另外,也可以在插入弹簧装置15之后,从壳体12的后端部侧插入挡环。
与第1实施方式相同,根据本实施方式,在将密封圈14安装于壳体12的内周之前插入密封环13。因此,插入密封环13时不会产生因密封圈14的弹性导致的插入阻力、旋转阻力,从而能够顺利地进行密封装置11的组装作业。

Claims (5)

1.一种密封装置,其特征在于,具有:
壳体,具有圆筒面状的内周面,并具有配置有对象部件的第一端和与所述第一端相反的一侧的第二端;
密封环,以能够沿轴向移位的方式从所述壳体的所述第二端插入于所述壳体的内周,所述密封环具有位于所述壳体的所述第一端侧的前端面和位于所述壳体的所述第二端侧的划定密封圈安装空间的后端面;
密封圈,对所述壳体和所述密封环之间进行密封,能够从所述壳体的所述第二端安装于所述密封圈安装空间;和
弹簧装置,配置于所述密封环的后端面侧,并对所述密封环向前端面侧弹性施力。
2.根据权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征在于,所述后端面具有渐缩面,所述渐缩面划定所述密封圈安装空间。
3.根据权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征在于,所述后端面具有槽,所述槽划定所述密封圈安装空间并具有矩形截面。
4.根据权利要求1~3中任一项所述的密封装置,其特征在于,进一步具有配置于所述密封环与所述弹簧装置之间的挡环。
5.一种密封装置的组装方法,其特征在于,
将密封环插入于壳体的内周,
接下来,将密封圈插入于由所述密封环的后端面划定的密封圈安装空间,对所述壳体与所述密封环之间进行密封,
接下来,从所述密封环的后端面侧插入弹簧装置,所述弹簧装置对所述密封环向所述密封环的前端面侧弹性施力。
