自动轮胎充气系统可以用于通过向车辆的轮胎添加流体而控制车 辆轮胎压力。自动轮胎充气系统可以从增压流体源向车辆的轮胎提供 增压流体,以便不管轮胎静止还是旋转都使得轮胎压力保持在合适的 压力水平。自动轮胎充气系统可以使用多个调节器、流体导管和旋转 流体连接件来向轮胎提供增压流体。自动轮胎充气系统还可以使用一 个或多个阀来控制流体流动的方向、速度和容积。
自动轮胎充气系统可以通过位于车辆结构内部的导管来向轮胎提 供空气,例如通过安装在密封轴的端部处的旋转接头。自动轮胎充气 系统还可以通过位于车辆结构外部的导管来提供空气,例如通过安装 在固定于车辆上的托架上的旋转接头。
发明内容
本发明主题提供了一种适用于外部线路的车辆轮胎充气系统。
一种车辆轮胎充气系统,具有轮胎和安装在轮胎上面的整流罩, 所述车辆轮胎充气系统包括:流体压力源;以及安装在整流罩上的旋 转接头,该旋转接头与所述流体压力源和所述轮胎密封地流体连通。

具体实施方式
如图1中可见,车辆100可以包括卡车102和拖车104。卡车102 可以包括一个或多个驱动轴106,作为车辆动力系的部件。卡车102 还可以包括转向轴(未详细示出),该转向轴有可枢轴转动的心轴,该 心轴可以提供车辆100的转向能力。拖车104可以包括一个或多个固 定轴(未示出)。各轴可以有安装于其上的一个或多个轮108。充气轮 胎110可以安装在各轮108上。
车辆100可以提供有自动轮胎充气系统(ATIS)(例如在图2中 更详细所示),该自动轮胎充气系统可以使用来自车辆的流体制动系统 的增压流体和/或增压空气或其它气体的一些其它源,以便使得轮胎保 持合适的流体压力。ATIS可以用于控制在安装于转向轴(未示出)、 驱动轴106和/或拖车轴(未示出)上的一个或多个轮胎110中的流体 压力。ATIS可以包括一个或多个软管112,该软管112与各轮胎110 流体连通,用于使得增压流体从压力源连通至一个或多个轮胎110和 使得增压流体来自一个或多个轮胎110。增压流体可以包括空气、纯 氮气、一些其它惰性气体或者它们的任意混合物。

图2更详细地表示了示例自动轮胎充气系统的多个实施例。拖车 200可以包括两个轴202、204。一些拖车200可以有安装在轴202、 204的各端部处的轮209、211上的双轮胎206、208,如关于轴202可 见。其它拖车200可以有安装在轴202、204的各端部处的单轮胎210, 例如超级单轮胎或宽基部轮胎,如关于轴204可见。宽基部轮胎可以 包括由例如Michelin、Toyo、Goodyear、Bridgestone和其它轮胎制 造商来制造的轮胎。ATIS通常可以包括空气压力调节器(未示出), 该空气压力调节器可以安装在控制箱214中。

在一些实施例中,通过设置环绕轴400布置的保持环410,轴400 可以限制平移至衬套404(或轴承)内。垫片412可以布置在衬套404 和保持环410之间。
在一些实施例中,端帽414可以与壳体402连接,例如通过螺纹。 在其它实施例中,壳体402和端帽414可以包括整体制造件。泼溅屏 蔽件416可以环绕轴400布置成抵靠壳体402的唇缘406端部,以便 屏蔽环形密封件408防止碎屑、高容积或高速液体流以及其它环境危 害。在一些实施例中,垫片416可以布置在泼溅屏蔽件416和壳体402 的端部之间。保持环418可以用于防止泼溅屏蔽件416滑出轴400。
在一些实施例中,轴400可以为大致柱形,并可以例如由钢或聚 碳酸酯来机械加工或模制。在一些实施例中可以提供槽420和422, 以便使得保持环410和418能够周向环绕轴400来设置。在轴400的 内部尺寸中可以提供槽424,环形密封件426(例如O形环)可以布置在该槽424中。

管形部件504的第一端506通过环形密封件510而与T形体502 密封连接。密封件510可以为允许端部506轴向运动和旋转运动的任 意合适动态密封件,例如唇缘密封件或O形环密封件,并通过伸缩帽 512而保持就位。T形体502可以与端帽414螺纹连接,该端帽414用于与在轴12的端部处的轮胎连接。因此,T形体502可以与端帽 414可拆卸和不可旋转地连接。当T形体502与端帽414螺纹连接时, 管形部件504的端部508伸入环形密封件426内和密封接合环形密封 件426,因此补偿轴400在壳体402内的任何错误对齐或平移。也就 是,第二端508可同轴地延伸通过通道514以及可在该通道514中纵 向和旋转运动,且与环形密封件426密封接合。通道514与流体供给 导管(未示出)连通。第一弹性环形密封件426支承在通道514中, 并环绕通道514。环形密封件可以包括任意合适的密封件,例如唇缘 密封件或O形环,且可以包括任意合适材料,例如腈、硅酮或橡胶。 因此,轮胎增压流体可以流通通过轴通道514、管形部件504和T形 体502(通过槽道522)。管形部件可以为刚性或柔性,或者包括刚性 和柔性部分。
管形部件504的端部506可以包括凸肩516,在商业用途中,该 凸肩516可以是凸形凸缘。轴承518可以与凸肩516共同作用,从而 限制管形部件504的纵向或轴向运动,并防止凸肩516与空气连接件 或T形体502上的内部凸缘520接合。
在一些实施例中,端帽414可以省略,T形件302可以与壳体300 直接连接,例如通过螺纹。
在一些实施例中,托架226可以安装在车辆整流罩上,该车辆整 流罩应当理解为包括任何空气动力车辆整流罩、裙板、整理件、挡泥 板、空气动力轮盖或者布置在轮端部或者覆盖轮端部的罩,如图6的 实施例中所示。这样的整流罩600可以提供为例如覆盖轮胎208的一 部分,以便提高空气动力效率、保护轮端部、或者用于装饰目的。整 流罩600可以覆盖安装于驱动轴、转向轴或拖车轴上的全部或部分轮 胎208的外侧。当然,任意其它合适的外部ATIS或旋转接头可以安 装在整流罩600上。在图6的实施例中,托架226可以不可旋转地安 装在整流罩600上。任意其它合适的安装结构可以用于将外部旋转接 头安装在整流罩的、朝向轮的一侧,而并不只是如图3中所示的托架。 外部布置的流体导管(例如图2的一个或多个导管222、228和230) 可以类似地安装在整流罩上,以便使得流体与旋转连接件216连通。
旋转连接件216可以以多种方式来适应轮胎旋转。当托架216安 装在轮上时,托架将与轮一起旋转。因此,壳体、端帽和T形件302 也可以与轮一起旋转。旋转接头轴可以基本保持旋转静止。参考图5 的实施例,管形部件504能够在环形密封部件510和426的任意一个或两个中旋转。密封件510和426中的一个或另一个可以固定管形部 件504防止旋转。

壳体702可以提供有一个或多个通气孔718,以便在密封件故障 (例如,环形密封件510(图5中所示)或环形密封件426(图5中所 示)或726(图7中所示)的故障)的情况下允许增压空气从旋转接 头216逸出。环形密封件720(例如具有正方形截面的O形环)可以 弹性地环绕壳体布置在通气孔718上,以便防止空气、水汽或碎屑通 过该通气孔718进入旋转接头。任意其它合适的密封件可以用于密封 通气孔防止这种进入,例如止回阀、鸭嘴阀、柔性隔膜或者橡胶带。
在一些实施例中,软管配件722可以与轴700螺纹连接,以便更 好地附接流体导管,该流体导管承载来自压力源220的增压流体。T 形件(未示出)例如图5的T形件302可以在出口724处螺纹连接至 壳体702中。T形件的管形部件(例如504)可以布置在环形密封件726内,该环形密封件726布置在流体槽道728内,如结合图5所述。
在还一实施例中,壳体702可以包括T形体502、环形密封件510 和管形部件504(参考图5中所示的部件)。也就是,T形体不需要与 壳体分开。这里公开的其它部件可以包括分开的部分,或者可以包括 一个或多个整体制造件。

Claims (6)
1.一种车辆轮胎充气系统,具有轮胎和安装在轮胎上面的整流罩,所述车辆轮胎充气系统包括:
流体压力源;以及
安装在整流罩上的旋转接头,该旋转接头与所述流体压力源和所述轮胎密封地流体连通。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆轮胎充气系统,其中旋转接头通过托架安装到整流罩上。
3.根据权利要求1所述的车辆轮胎充气系统,其中旋转接头包括:
壳体;
轴,该轴能旋转地布置在壳体内,该轴被构造成用于与流体压力源流体连通;
T形体,该T形体能拆卸和不能旋转地与壳体连接,T形体具有形成于其中的流体槽道,用于将压力流体传送给车辆轮胎;以及
管形部件,该管形部件构造成在轴和T形体之间传送压力流体,该管形部件有密封地布置于轴中的第一端和密封地布置在T形体中的第二端。
4.根据权利要求3所述的车辆轮胎充气系统,其中旋转接头还包括:
径向衬套或径向轴承,该径向衬套或径向轴承环绕轴布置在壳体内;以及
推力衬套或推力轴承,该推力衬套或推力轴承布置在管形部件的第一端和壳体的内表面之间。
5.根据权利要求4所述的车辆轮胎充气系统,其中旋转接头还包括:第一环形密封件,该第一环形密封件布置在轴和管形部件的第一端之间;以及第二环形密封件,该第二环形密封件布置在T形体和管形部件的第二端之间。
6.根据权利要求5所述的车辆轮胎充气系统,其中旋转接头被安装在车辆的整流罩上,从而当密封连接到其上时T形体能随轮胎旋转。
