Abstract

Description

本发明涉及一种密封的绝缘层移位式接插件。
电气工业中,密封式电气接插件是常见的接插件,特别是在汽车中,发动机室内的接插件都会遇到苛刻的环境条件和腐蚀剂。汽车发动机室内的电气接插件必须能承受因汽车高速行驶可能产生的高飞溅压而引起的高水压。汽车用的密封式接插件通常都采用压扁式连接,比起非密封式的接插件来,零部件、制造工序都多,装配程序也更复杂,因而生产成本颇高。
在为汽车工业提供电气接插件时,总希望减少汽车装配过程中手工操作的次数,因为这些都是成本高的工序。因此需要提供一种可自动化生产、装配过程需用的手工操作尽可能少、但又能满足不断提高的在可靠性和载流容量方面的要求的电气配线。
因此本发明的目的是提供一种经济实惠、能简易而快速地装配起来的可靠电气接插件。
本发明的另一个目的提供绝缘层移位技术的密封式接插件。
本发明还有另一个目的,即提供一种可用以分配电能或使多根导线接地、例如用于汽车中的廉价可靠的密封式分支接插件。本发明的上述目的是通过提供这样一种接插件达到的,该接插件具有:若干绝缘层移位触片装在接插件中;一个底座件和一个盖件,具有导线装配用件供将导线装配到底座件和盖件上之用;盖件可固定到底座件上,从而使各导线可与各IDC(绝缘层移位接触)触片彼此连接起来,该接插件的特征在于,盖和导线之间设有导线密封装置,底座件与盖件之间设有弹性体制成的盖密封装置,从而使电气接线全部密封起来,与外部隔绝。
现在参看附图更详细地说明本发明的其中一个实施例。附图中:
图1是准备与导线连接的密封式电气分支接插件的等角投影视图;
图2是通过图1接插件的底座件的横向剖视图;
图3是图1电气接插件底座件的顶视图;
图4和5分别为图1所示盖件的顶视和侧视剖面图;
图6是通过图1的接插件的侧视剖面图,示出了电连接到接插件上的电气导线;
图7是设在接插件上的应力消除装置的详细、局部剖视图。
参看图1。本发明系列的一个实施例作为用来在电气上连接到导线4的双位分支接插件总体上用2表示。分支接插件2有一个底座件6和若干盖件8。
参看图1、2和3,可以看到底座件6包括一个冲压成形的导电金属片10、一个绝缘外壳12和密封装置14。导电片10包括基本上扁平的互连基部16、平行并列地从互连部分16竖起的绝缘层移位接触部分18和带螺栓孔或铆钉孔22的外部接触部分20。绝缘层移位接触(IDC)部分18有一对相对竖起的IDC壁24,壁上有构槽26供承接电气导线4并与该导线电接触之用。外壳12有若干间隔28,各自具有底壁30以及竖起的侧壁32、后壁34以及与后壁相对的承接导线的前壁36,这样,各壁32、34、36围绕着一对IDC接触部分18并超过IDC接触部分18的上端38。间隔28还具有取窗口切口40形式的盖保持件和端面44呈锥形的V形导线承接槽42。
现在参看图1、4和5,从图中可以看到盖件8有一个绝缘外壳46,绝缘外壳46有一个导线承接腔48和一个单线密封件圆柱形承接腔54,从接合面52延伸的IDC接触部分的槽50横截导线承接腔48,腔54则对准并邻接导线承接腔48,且从盖件8的导线承接面56延伸。盖件8还具有保持件58,该保持件有若干锥形凸出部分可与底座件外壳12的窗口40相配合。接合面52有一个外密封表面60围绕着IDC承接槽50,密封表面60的轮廓是连续的平面。
制造分支接插件2时先将金属片冲压成形成分支导电片10,再将其放入模具中,从而将绝缘外壳12模制到分支导电片10上。于是也可以将密封装置14模制到间隔28的导电片10和底板30上,从而在围绕IDC接触部分18且可偏靠在盖密表面60上的间隔28的底板上形成平面密封表面。分支导电片10模制到外壳12和密封底板14里,使外导电部分20与IDC部分18之间可以电连接起来,同时还确保IDC接触部分18可以从外面密封住,但盖承接面62(图2)例外,这于是就如稍后将谈到的那样,盖件8将盖承接面62密封住。间隔壁32、34、36延伸超越IDC接触部分18各端38,主要保护这些端部使其在搬运和装配过程中不致损伤。
要将分支导电片10与导线4电连接起来时,先将单导线密封件64(图5)插入盖件8的密封件承接腔54中,然后将导线4穿过密封件64的导线承接腔66插入导线承接腔48直到靠在盖8的端壁68上为止。单导线密封件64的内外表面上有密封棱可弹性地偏压在密封承接腔54和导线4上,从而使导线相对于盖件8密封起来,但接合面52例外。这时可将盖件8压入间隔28中,从而使IDC触片24插入承接槽50,进而将导线4压入IDC槽26,这些槽切透绝缘层与导线4的导电股线接触。与此同时,导线4毗邻密封件64的外部分插入V形槽42中从而使导线4在槽42相对的两边缘70、72之间受挤压,锥形端面44形成锐角边缘70、72以便有效咬入导线4中从而起保持件的作用。锥形端面44的作用是使边缘70、72之间的最小宽度毗邻间隔28的内侧有效将导线保持住,不因沿其上作用的外拉力而脱出。当盖件8几乎完全插入间隔28中时,其密封表面60靠在密封底面14上,从而使盖件8这时可以通过弹性偏压密封表面60而进一步插入,直到盖的凸出部分58嵌入间隔28的窗口40中为止。这样,盖件8就牢靠地锁定在间隔28中且弹性偏压在密封底面14上,导线4与接触部分18之间的IDC连接就与外部完全密封起来。
必须理解的是,上述分开的实施例仅仅是本发明的一个例子而已,因而在不脱离本发明精神实质的前提下是可设想出其它许多实施例的。更具体地说,密封装置14可以不模制到间隔的整个底面上而仅在毗邻盖件的密封表面60的位置模制,或者密封装置14可以作为活块提供,或甚至模制到盖件8的密封表面60上。接插件2也可以不是具有公用互连接部分16的分支接插件,而是具有许多分立端子、各分立端子具有外部接触部分(20)的那一种,外部接触部分20可以取现有技术周知的任何形式。上述分支接头是双位分支接插件,但当然必要时也可以提供许多IDC接触部分18,这只要扩充互连接部分16及往其上模制更多的间隔即可。甚至可以设想设间隔壁32、34、36围绕着IDC接触部分18的内表面设置密封装置。
因此,接插件的底座件6最好可以组装到一个构件上,例如组装到汽车本体的工件部分,因为这样就可以在以后的装配阶段中极其迅速而简单地将导线4连接到其上。采用绝缘层移位技术还有这样的好处,即无需使用密封胶或密封脂就可以提供可靠密封接插件。由于密封件64是压缩在导线4与盖件8的密封件承接腔54之间,因而导线4可以在自动化制备电气配线的过程中在电气配线位置装配到盖件8上并临时固定到盖件8上,由密封件64临时将导线固定到盖件8上。这时就可以极其简单的方式,例如只要把盖件8推入间隔28中,将导线4电连接到分支接插件上。更为有益的是,这种密封式IDC分支接插件既经济实惠,结构又简单,其冲压成形的端子18能按需要组成许多端子。

Claims (19)

1、一种电绝缘层移位式接插件(2),有一个底座件(6)和一个盖件(8),底座件(6)中装有若干绝缘层移位接触部分(IDC)(18),盖件(8)有若干导线装配件(48)供将导线装配到其上之用,盖件(8)可固定到底座件(6)上从而可以将导线(4)与IDC接触部分电连接,其特征在于,导线密封装置(64)设在盖件(8)与导线(4)之间,弹性体盖密封装置设(14)设在底座件与盖件之间从而从外部将电接头完全密封起来。
2、如权利要求1所述的电气接插件,其特征在于,盖密封装置(14)模制入底座件(6)中。
3、如权利要求1或2所述的电气接插件,其特征在于IDC接触部分(18)在底座件(6)中与底座件(6)模制在一起。
4、如以上任一权利要求所述的接插件,其特征在于,底座件(6)有多个绝缘层移位接触部分18供承接多根导线(4)之用。
5、如权利要求4所述的接插件,其特征在于,多个IDC接触部分(18)用底面互连部分(16)在电气上互连起来。
6、如权利要求4或5所述的接插件,其特征在于,IDC接触部分(18)平行并排配置。
7、如以上任一权利要求所述的接插件,其特征在于,每条导线(4)有一个盖件(8)。
8、如以上任一权利要求所述的接插件,其特征在于,IDC接触部分(18)与外部接触部分(20)形成一个整体供将IDC接触部分(18)与导线(4)之外的外导线电连接起来之用。
9、如权利要求8所述的接插件,其特征在于,外部接触部分(20)还用来将底座件(6)通过接触部分(20)的装配机构(22)而牢靠装设到某一构件上。
10、如权利要求8或9所述的接插件,其特征在于,IDC接触部分(18)、底面互连部分(16)和外部接触部分(20)是一个整体冲压成形的金属片部件。
11、如以上任一权利要求所述的接插件,其特征在于,底座件(6)有一个绝缘外壳(12),绝缘外壳(12)有若干围绕着IDC接触部分(18)的间隔(28),因而盖件(8)可座落在间隔(28)中并牢靠地固定到间隔(28)上。
12、如权利要求11所述的接插件,其特征在于,每条导线(4)有一独立的间隔(28)与IDC接触部分(18)相对应。
13、如权利要求11或12所述的接插件,其特征在于,间隔(28)有若干壁(32,34,36)从竖立的IDC触片(18)下方的底壁(30)沿平行于各触片的方向延伸,超过其导线承接端(38)。
14、如权利要求11-13任一项所述的接插件,其特征在于,间隔(28)有一个壁(36)基本上横切导线(4)的方向且平行于IDC接触部分(18),壁(36)有一个V形槽(42)供盖件(6)装设到底座件(8)的过程中在槽中承接导线(4),V形槽(42)的边缘(70,72)彼此间隔一段距离从而在盖件(8)牢靠固定到底座件(6)时导线(4)在两边缘之间紧紧地受挤压。
15、如权利要求14所述的接插件,其特征在于,有一个锥形断面44横切V形槽(42)的边缘(70,72),从而使相对的边缘(70,72)之间的最小间距毗邻盖件(8)。
16、如以上任一权利要求所述的接插件,其特征在于,盖件(8)有一个绝缘外壳(46),绝缘外壳(46)有一个导线承接槽(48)和IDC承接槽(50),前者对准并邻接单线密封件圆柱形承接腔(54),后者横切导线承接腔(48)。
17、如以上任一权利要求所述的接插件,其特征在于,导线密封装置(64)有一个弹性材料制成的圆柱形单线密封件(64)。
18、如以上任一权利要求所述的接插件,其特征在于,盖件(8)的IDC触片承接侧(52)有一个连续的外密封表面(60),整个密封表面可压靠在底座件(6)的盖密封装置(14)上,从而使弹性体密封装置(14)在所述盖件借助于保持装置(40,58)保持在所述底座件时弹性地压住盖密封表面(60)。
19、如权利要求18所述的接插件,其特征在于,密封表面(60)是个平面。
