Abstract

Description

侧壁接合机以及用于将侧壁接合到热塑性带的方法
技术领域
本发明涉及接合工具以及一种用于将侧壁在拼接接头处接合到热塑性带的方法。
背景技术
拼接压机用于将两个热塑性输送带部段的对接端焊接在一起。传统的压机包括一对夹具,该对夹具中的每个夹具保持两个带部段中的一个。跨越带部段的整个宽度延伸的夹具牢固地保持部段,使对接端彼此面对跨越一间隙。加热棒被移动到该间隙中,并且两个夹具靠近,直到带部段的对接端接触加热棒的相反两侧。一旦对接端被棒的热量充分软化或熔化,夹具回缩,使得棒可以被移走。随后夹具被朝着彼此移动,直到被软化或熔化的对接端接触。夹具随着对接端的对接部处的接头冷却而将对接端保持在一起。
为了拼接具有波纹形侧壁的带,侧壁必须在对接端处与带部段分开以容纳加热棒。在对接端被焊接在一起之后,必须将侧壁跨越接头拼接在一起,并且将侧壁的底部重新附接到带上。为此目的,通常使用热风枪或热烙铁。但由于这种接头依赖于人工操作热风枪或热烙铁的操作者的技能,因而由此产生的接头会不一致。
发明内容
体现本发明特征的一种型式的接合机用于将波纹形侧壁部段接合到热塑性带,该接合机包括:底座以及在该底座上方的第一加热器夹钳组件和第二加热器夹钳组件。一定长度的热塑性带以及与该热塑性带的外表面分开的波纹形侧壁部段设置在该底座上。该第一加热器夹钳组件和该第二加热器夹钳组件各自具有竖向波纹形面和加热元件,该加热元件具有沿着该竖向波纹形面的底部的接合条状部。该第一加热器夹钳组件的竖向波纹形面和该第二加热器夹钳组件的竖向波纹形面是互补的,并且跨越介于中间的波纹形槽彼此面对,输送带的波纹形侧壁被接收在该介于中间的波纹形槽中。该第一加热器夹钳组件和该第二加热器夹钳组件在该波纹形侧壁部段的相反两侧上布置在该热塑性带的外表面上。侧向施压装置抵靠该第二加热器夹钳组件施加侧向压力,以将该第二加热器夹钳组件朝着该第一加热器夹钳组件推动,并且将该波纹形侧壁部段保持在该竖向波纹形面之间。该第一加热器夹钳组件的加热元件和该第二加热器夹钳组件的加热元件将热量传递到该接合条状部,以将该波纹形侧壁部段的底部在相反的两侧上熔化,从而将该波纹形侧壁部段接合到该热塑性带的外表面。
在另一方面,一种用于将一段分开的波纹形侧壁接合到热塑性带的方法,该方法包括:(a)将热塑性带夹紧在底座和具有波纹形竖向面的第一加热器夹钳组件之间,使在底部处的波纹形接合条状部抵靠热塑性输送带的在波纹形侧壁内侧的外表面;(b)推动与该热塑性输送带的外表面分开的侧壁部段抵靠该波纹形竖向面;(c)推动第二加热元件夹钳组件以形成接收该波纹形侧壁部段的波纹形槽,该第二加热元件夹钳组件具有与该第一加热器夹钳组件的波纹形竖向面面对并且互补的波纹形竖向面以及在底部处的波纹形接合条状部;(d)将该热塑性带在该底座和该第二加热器夹钳组件之间抵靠该热塑性输送带的在该波纹形侧壁外侧的外表面夹紧;(e)抵靠该波纹形槽中的该波纹形侧壁部段施加向下的压力;(f)加热该第一加热器夹钳组件的波纹形接合条状部和该第二加热器夹钳组件的波纹形接合条状部,以将该波纹形侧壁部段的底部在两侧上熔化,并将其接合到该输送带的该外表面。

具体实施方式
图1中示出了将一段侧壁接合到热塑性输送带的侧壁接合机。该接合机10被示出为将短长度/一小段的波纹形侧壁12在拼接接头18附近接合到热塑性输送带16的外表面14。在该示例中示出的带16是由诸如聚氨酯的热塑性材料制成的均匀、强制驱动的输送带,其具有在内侧22上规则间隔的驱动杆20。由于波纹形部的间距/节距P1与驱动杆20的间距/节距P2整体相关,因此带16的波纹形侧壁12是同步的。在该示例中,这些间距相等,即P1/P2=1。此外,在该示例中如从上方观察的侧壁图案的距离带侧边缘26较远的峰24与驱动杆20对齐。因此,两个侧壁12彼此接近的最靠近点出现在驱动杆20沿着带16的长度的位置处。这使得能在较厚的驱动杆位置处在带16上形成长度较短的条板28。但是,具有其它同步关系的带也是可能的。
图2至图5示出了使用侧壁接合机10将如图1中的带的侧壁接合到带的外表面的顺序步骤。为了显露接合机10的更多细节,带未在图2至图5中示出。如图2所示,接合机10包括底座30,该底座30具有在顶表面34中的凹槽32。凹槽32间隔开驱动杆间距P2,以将拼接的带相对于接合机部件对准。附接到底座30的侧面的左侧框架34和右侧框架36向上延伸并且支撑所附接的顶部台面38。夹块40连附到底座30,位于两个侧框架34、36之间。两个肘节夹具42、44并排安装在夹块40的顶部上。孔46延伸穿过夹块40并且穿过内螺纹配件48。带有调节旋钮51(图1)的螺纹杆50延伸穿过孔46和配件48。加热器夹钳组件52通过一对平行的柱54、56悬挂在底座30上方,所述一对平行的柱54、56从顶部台面38向下延伸并且被紧固到该加热器夹钳组件的顶部。柱54、56延伸穿过顶部台面38的顶侧上的套筒58、60。柱54、56保持加热器夹钳组件52与底座30中的凹槽32水平对准。柱能够在套筒中竖向移动,以调节底座和加热器夹钳组件52的底部之间的间距。肘节夹具62、64被安装在顶部台面38上。
上肘节夹具62、64和下肘节夹具42、44各自具有控制杆66,该控制杆66具有手柄67,该手柄67在一端处可枢转地附接到夹具主体68并且可枢转地附接到夹持臂70、71在夹具主体和手柄之间的端部。压力垫72从臂的与枢转部相反的端部延伸。上肘节夹具62、64的臂70比下肘节夹具42、44的臂71短。上肘节夹具62、64和下肘节夹具42、44用于向带施加向下的压力,如稍后所述。在图2中,左上肘节夹具62被示出为处于打开位置,而右上肘节夹具64被示出为处于锁定位置,该右上肘节夹具64的压力垫72抵靠柱56向下推压,以将加热器夹钳组件52朝着底座30向下压。因此,上肘节夹具62、64用作向下施压装置。
图3中示出了第二加热器夹钳组件74。与水平固定的第一加热器夹钳组件52不同,第二加热器夹钳组件74能够至少在平行于底座30中的凹槽32的长度的方向上水平移动。两个加热器夹钳组件52、74具有面对的竖向面76、78,其是波纹形且互补的,并且形成波纹形槽80以接收波纹形侧壁。
图6是第一加热器夹钳组件52的放大的下侧视图。第二加热器夹钳组件74在构造上类似。夹钳组件52具有下部加热部分82,该下部加热部分82包括隔热体84和加热元件86。隔热体84可以由刚性足以在暴露于高温时保持其形状的塑性材料制成。隔热体84还可以具有低摩擦系数,以易于与被接合的侧壁分开。聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)或包括PTFE的热塑性共混物是可以制成隔热体84的低摩擦塑性材料的示例。隔热体84具有竖向的波纹形面88,其与带的波纹形侧壁匹配。主要被封装在隔热体84中的加热元件86具有在竖向波纹形面88的下端处的波纹形接合条状部90。该接合条状部90接触分开的侧壁和带的外表面,以将热量从加热元件86传递到侧壁与带的对接部。散热器92,诸如铝制散热器,被安装在下部加热部分82的顶上。如图6所示,散热器具有竖向波纹形面94,其跨越由散热器92的底切形成的间隙96与隔热体84的竖向波纹形面88成连续或者形成该竖向波纹形面88的延续部分。底切的散热器92使散热器和侧壁之间的接触面积最小,以在接合之后更容易分开。
图7示出了下部加热部分82的内部,其中隔热体84被透视。加热元件86具有主体98,加热指状部100从该主体98延伸到隔热体84的绝缘指状部102中。加热指状部100向下扩张,以形成波纹形接合条状部90,该波纹形接合条状部90在竖向波纹形面88的底部处离开隔热体84。加热元件86中的槽104、106在加热元件86和隔热体84之间形成气流通道,以帮助散热器在接合之后从加热元件和带移走热量。如图3所示,压缩空气被泵送到与该气流通道流体连通的入口空气配件108中,并且通过出口配件110离开隔热体84。接触加热元件86的主体98的加热器筒体112位于隔热体84后部中的孔114中。加热器筒体112将热量传递给加热元件96并且传递到接合部位上。
接合机10的另一个部件如图4所示。压板116通过带有调节旋钮120的附接的螺纹调节杆118悬挂于顶部台面38。杆118延伸穿过顶部台面38中的孔122并且穿过位于板的下侧的螺纹配件(未示出,但类似于图2的配件48)。压板116用于将侧壁向下推动抵靠带的外表面,使得足够的材料熔化以形成可靠的接合。杆118可以具有连续的螺纹,或者可以具有交替的螺纹长度和无螺纹长度,以最小化接触较短侧壁所需的杆的匝数。压板116的进一步细节在图8中示出。压板116具有在底侧126中的蜿蜒凹槽124。蜿蜒凹槽124接收波纹形侧壁的顶部边缘,使得向下的压力在接合期间均匀地施加到侧壁。如图4所示,压板116中的凹口128接收柱54、56并且保持压板与第一加热夹钳52和其余的接合机部件对准。
参照图1至图5描述用于将波纹形侧壁跨越拼接部接合到输送带的方法。在接合工艺之前,侧壁与带主体相同,通常被预拼接,但是侧壁的底部在拼接接头处与带的外表面分开并且在该接头的两侧与带的外表面分开一短距离。首先,第一加热器夹钳组件52被柱54、56提升,以给侧壁12提供空间,以使其如图1所示地装配在接合机10中。在该步骤期间,如图2所示,压板116被从接合机10移走,或者压板116被向上提升到靠近顶部台面38下侧的位置。带的驱动杆20被接收在底座30的凹槽32中,拼接接头18位于最内的两个凹槽之间的中间位置。该步骤将带对准在接合机中。随后,两个柱54、56被降低以使第一加热器夹钳组件52与带的在侧护板内侧的外表面接触。随后,两个上肘节夹具42、44被锁定闭合,以对第一加热器夹钳组件52施加向下的压力,以便将侧壁处的带内侧部抵靠底座30夹紧。接着,如图3所示,第二加热器夹钳组件74被在底座30的顶上手动插设到接合机10中。第二加热器夹钳组件74具有后部块130,该后部块130具有凹窝(未示出),该凹窝接收螺纹调节杆50并且将两个互补的波纹形夹钳组件对准。随后,波纹形侧壁被抵靠第一加热器夹钳组件的竖向面76推动。接着,调节杆50被转动以抵靠第二加热器夹钳组件74推动并且将其朝着第一加热器夹钳组件52移动。杆50被调节以施加足够的侧向或水平压力,以便保持侧壁厚度并且防止熔化的塑料流到侧壁上。因此,杆50用作侧向施压装置。随后,施加压力的下肘节夹具42、44被锁定闭合,以向第二加热器夹钳组件52施加向下的压力,以便将带的外侧在侧壁处抵靠底座30夹紧。在下一步骤中,如图4所示,升起的压板116由施加压力的螺纹调节杆118抵靠侧壁的顶部边缘降下。波纹形顶部边缘被手动送入蜿蜒凹槽124中(图8),随后压板116被如图5所示地进一步降下,以抵靠侧壁施加足够的向下压力,从而确保足够的材料熔化以达成良好的接合。对两个加热器夹钳组件52、74的加热器筒体112通电,热量流到底部接合条状部,并且流到侧壁底部两侧的接合部位。
当持形成接合所需的时间时,将加热器筒体断电,并且将空气通过气流通道泵送通过两个加热器夹钳组件52、74的空气入口108,并且使空气从出口110流出,以加速冷却加热元件和接合部。为了从接合机上取下带,将压板116提升离开。释放下肘节夹具42、44,并且使水平压力调节杆50回缩,以允许从接合机移走第二加热器夹钳组件74。释放上肘节夹具62、64,并且升高第一加热器夹钳组件52,使得可以从接合机10移走侧壁带。
尽管在本说明书中使用了一种型式的接合机,但其它型式也是可能的。例如,用于抵靠夹钳组件施加竖向向下压力以将带夹紧到接合机底座的肘节夹具可以由其它施压装置代替,诸如线性致动器、螺线管、弹簧、棘轮和螺纹调节杆,在此仅举几例。并且,调节杆还可以由其它施压装置代替,诸如刚刚列出的那些。接合机还可用于将侧壁接合到没有驱动杆的平带。在那种情况下,可以手动完成对准。接合机也对加强带有效。

Claims (7)

1.一种用于将波纹形侧壁部段接合到热塑性带的接合机,包括:
底座,一定长度的热塑性带以及与所述热塑性带的外表面分开的波纹形侧壁部段设置在所述底座上;
第一加热器夹钳组件,所述第一加热器夹钳组件位于所述底座上方,并且具有竖向波纹形面和加热元件,所述加热元件具有沿着所述竖向波纹形面的底部的接合条状部;
第二加热器夹钳组件,所述第二加热器夹钳组件位于所述底座上方,并且具有竖向波纹形面和加热元件,所述加热元件具有沿着所述竖向波纹形面的底部的接合条状部;
其中,所述第一加热器夹钳组件的竖向波纹形面和所述第二加热器夹钳组件的竖向波纹形面是互补的,并且跨越介于中间的波纹形槽彼此面对,输送带的波纹形侧壁被接收在所述介于中间的波纹形槽中;
其中,所述第一加热器夹钳组件和所述第二加热器夹钳组件在所述波纹形侧壁部段的相反两侧上布置在所述热塑性带的外表面上;
侧向施压装置,所述侧向施压装置抵靠所述第二加热器夹钳组件施加侧向压力,以将所述第二加热器夹钳组件朝着所述第一加热器夹钳组件推动,并且将所述波纹形侧壁部段保持在所述竖向波纹形面之间;
其中,所述第一加热器夹钳组件的加热元件和所述第二加热器夹钳组件的加热元件将热量传递到所述接合条状部,以将所述波纹形侧壁部段的底部在相反的两侧上熔化,从而将所述波纹形侧壁部段接合到所述热塑性带的外表面。
2.根据权利要求1所述的接合机,其特征在于,所述接合机还包括压力板和向下施压装置,所述向下施压装置抵靠与所述波纹形侧壁部段的顶部边缘接触的所述压力板施加压力,以推动所述波纹形槽中的波纹形侧壁抵靠所述热塑性带的外表面。
3.根据权利要求1所述的接合机,其特征在于,所述第一加热器夹钳组件和所述第二加热器夹钳组件各自包括形成所述竖向波纹形面的低摩擦隔热体。
4.根据权利要求1所述的接合机,其特征在于,所述第一加热器夹钳组件和所述第二加热器夹钳组件各自包括具有竖向波纹形面的散热器。
5.根据权利要求1所述的接合机,其特征在于,所述第一加热器夹钳组件和所述第二加热器夹钳组件各自包括沿着所述加热元件的冷却气流通道。
6.一种用于将一段分开的波纹形侧壁接合到热塑性带的方法,所述方法包括:
将热塑性带夹紧在底座和具有波纹形竖向面的第一加热器夹钳组件之间,使在底部处的波纹形接合条状部抵靠热塑性输送带的在波纹形侧壁内侧的外表面;
推动与所述热塑性输送带的外表面分开的侧壁部段抵靠所述波纹形竖向面;
推动第二加热元件夹钳组件以形成接收所述波纹形侧壁部段的波纹形槽,所述第二加热元件夹钳组件具有与所述第一加热器夹钳组件的波纹形竖向面面对并且互补的波纹形竖向面以及在底部处的波纹形接合条状部;
将所述热塑性带在所述底座和所述第二加热器夹钳组件之间抵靠所述热塑性输送带的在所述波纹形侧壁外侧的外表面夹紧;
抵靠所述波纹形槽中的所述波纹形侧壁部段施加向下的压力;
加热所述第一加热器夹钳组件的波纹形接合条状部和所述第二加热器夹钳组件的波纹形接合条状部,以将所述波纹形侧壁部段的底部在两侧上熔化,并将其接合到所述输送带的所述外表面。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,所述方法还包括在加热之后使空气流动通过所述第一加热器夹钳组件和所述第二加热器夹钳组件。
