本发明提供了一种连接器及其接触模块,连接器的壳体内设有多个接触单元,接触单元包括单元印制板,单元印制板的两侧面上分别设有信号走线而构成差分对,单元印制板的两侧面上还分别在信号走线的两侧设有接地走线,信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端。本发明将信号接触件和接地屏蔽件通过印制板上的走线代替,相比传统的片式接触件和绝缘体的组合大大减小了接触部分的体积,从而减小了连接器的体积,实现了更高程度的集成化。

随着小型化、密集化、集成化的发展趋势,高速差分连接器的适用场合越来越广泛。高速差分连接器因其传输信号较多,一般都设置有屏蔽结构对每一路信号传输回路进行屏蔽,避免相邻的信号传输回路之间的串扰。现有的高速差分连接器有多种类型。较为常见的连接器,如申请公布号为CN104300313A、名称为全屏蔽式差分连接器的专利申请,其差分对成排设置,成排设置的差分对中,相邻差分对之间设置有接地接触件,相邻两排差分对之间设有走线屏蔽件。

本发明的目的在于提供一种体积小、工艺简单的高速差分连接器,同时,本发明还提供了一种适用于该连接器的接触模块。
本发明的连接器包括壳体,壳体内设有多个接触单元,接触单元包括单元印制板,单元印制板的两侧面上分别设有信号走线而构成差分对,单元印制板的两侧面上还分别在信号走线的两侧设有接地走线,信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端。本发明将信号接触件和接地屏蔽件通过印制板上的走线代替,相比传统的片式接触件和绝缘体的组合大大减小了接触部分的体积,从而减小了连接器的体积,实现了更高程度的集成化。
进一步地,为了更好的实现构成差分对的两信号走线之间的耦合,多个接触单元中,在厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板之间的距离大于单元印制板的厚度。
在具体设置时,所述接触单元可以自成模块,单元印制板相互独立,此时,壳体内可以设有多个安装槽,各个接触单元安装在对应安装槽中。
在接触单元使用在转接连接器中时,信号走线和接地走线分别在单元印制板的两相对边缘结束而在单元印制板两边形成两个插接端。
为了更好的实现多个接触单元的差分对的屏蔽,在厚度方向上相邻的两个接触单元在厚度方向上的投影相错开。
本发明的接触模块包括单元印制板,单元印制板的两侧面上分别设有用于构成差分对的信号走线,单元印制板的两侧面上还分别在信号走线的两侧设有接地走线,信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端。这种接触模块将信号接触件和接地屏蔽件通过印制板上的走线代替,相比传统的片式接触件和绝缘体的组合大大减小了接触部分的体积,从而减小了连接器的体积,实现了更高程度的集成化。
在具体使用时,单元印制板两侧面上的信号走线分别用于与相邻的单元印制板上的信号走线构成两对差分对,或者单元印制板两侧面上的信号走线构成一对差分对。
在接触模块使用在转接连接器中时,信号走线和接地走线分别在单元印制板的两相对边缘结束而在单元印制板两边形成两个插接端。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图对本发明的实施方式作进一步说明。
本发明以转接连接器为例对连接器进行说明,如图1、2所示,转接连接器3即为本发明所提供的连接器,在使用时分别与第一板端连接器1和第二板端连接器2连接实现转接。当然,在其他实施例中,本发明的连接器可以为单端插接的插头或插座,与此处提供的转接连接器相比,其区别仅为单端插接。以下将仅以转接连接器为例进行说明。
如图3、5所示,转接连接器3包括壳体,壳体内设有多个接触单元31,接触单元31包括单元印制板,印制板的两侧面均设有信号走线310,两侧面的信号走线310在印制板的厚度方向上对应,单元印制板的两侧面上还在信号走线310的两侧分别设有接地走线311,单元印制板上在对应于接地走线311的长度方向间隔设有多个隔离孔312。这样两个单元印制板上的信号走线所构成的信号对被接地走线所包围,保证了差分对的屏蔽效果。多个接触单元31在垂直于板面的平面内呈矩阵式布置,每个接触单元的单元印制板两侧面的信号走线构成一对差分对。信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端318。当然,作为转接连接器,接触单元的单元印制板具有两个插接端。本实施例中,两个插接端分别位于单元印制板的两端,在其他实施方式中,信号走线和接地走线可以弯曲,此时,两个插接端可以位于同一边缘或者两相邻边缘。如上面提到的,当本发明的连接器为单端插接的插头或插座时,单元印制板仅有一个插接端,另一端可以为鱼眼结构或焊接端。
本发明还提供了另外一种转接连接器的实施例,该实施例中,接触单元的排布方式相比以上的实施例有一定区别,如图4所示,多个接触模块中,在厚度方向上相邻的两个接触单元在厚度方向上的投影相错开,这样单元印制板的差分对能够被周围相邻的单元印制板上的接地走线更好的屏蔽,减小串扰。
本实施例中,接触单元自成模块设置,即各个接触单元为独立模块,在连接器装配时,将各个独立的基础模块安装在壳体内的安装槽中即可,当然,在其他实施方式中,接触单元可以一体化设置,此时,各个接触单元的单元印制板浇注在同一绝缘体内,或者接触单元分为若干组,每一组的多个接触单元浇注在同一绝缘体中。
本发明提供的接触模块的实施例的结构与上述转接连接器中自成模块设置的接触单元的结构相同,此处不再赘述。

Claims (5)

1.一种连接器,包括壳体,其特征是,壳体内设有多个接触单元,接触单元包括单元印制板,在印制板厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板的相邻侧面上分别设有信号走线而构成差分对,两个单元印制板上还在宽度方向上于信号走线的两侧分别设有接地走线,信号走线和接地走线在单元印制板的边缘位置结束而形成用于与适配连接器插接的插接端,单元印制板的两侧板面上分别设有一个所述信号走线和位于信号走线两侧的所述接地走线,且同一个单元印制板分别与在厚度方向上相邻的两个单元印制板组成两个差分对,所述接触单元自成模块,单元印制板相互独立,各单元印制板呈长条形结构,多个接触单元在垂直于板面的平面内呈矩阵式间隔布置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其特征是,其上的信号走线构成一对差分对的两个单元印制板在厚度方向上的间距小于单元印制板的厚度。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器,其特征是,多个在厚度方向上并排设置的接触单元中,位于两侧边缘处的接触单元的单元印制板的外侧面上设置的信号走线为低频信号走线。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器,其特征是,所述壳体内设有多个安装槽,各个接触单元安装在对应安装槽中。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的连接器,其特征是,信号走线和接地走线分别在单元印制板的两相对边缘结束而在单元印制板两边形成两个插接端。
