Abstract

本发明提供一种像素电路及其驱动方法、显示装置,属于显示技术领域。本发明的像素电路,包括:第一晶体管用于响应第N行扫描信号而传送数据电压;第二晶体管用于根据通过所述第一晶体管传送的所述数据电压,生成驱动电流;第三晶体管用于响应第N‑1行扫描信号,对所述第二晶体管的阈值电压进行补偿;存储电容用于存储传送至所述第二晶体管的所述数据电压;发光器件用于在所述第二晶体管生成的驱动电流的驱动下发光。本发明中通过第三晶体管对第二晶体管的阈值电压进行补偿,改善了显示面板的显示效果。而且第三晶体管响应于第N‑1行扫描信号,因此像素电路中并没有增加控制线以控制第三晶体管,从而有利于实现显示面板的高分辨率设计。

技术领域
本发明属于显示技术领域,具体涉及一种像素电路及其驱动方法、显示装置。
背景技术
有机发光显示器(Organic Light Emitting Diode,OLED)相比现在的主流显示技术薄膜晶体管液晶显示器(Thin Film Transisitor Liquid Crystal Display,TFT-LCD),具有广视角、高亮度、高对比度、低能耗、体积更轻薄等优点,是目前平板显示技术关注的焦点。
有机发光显示器的驱动方法分为被动矩阵式(PM,Passive Matrix)和主动矩阵式(AM,Active Matrix)两种。而相比被动矩阵式驱动,主动矩阵式驱动具有显示信息量大、功耗低、器件寿命长、画面对比度高等优点。现有技术的一种主动矩阵式有机发光显示器的像素单元驱动电路的等效电路,如图1所示,包括:第一开关晶体管M1、驱动晶体管M2、存储电容C1以及发光器件D1。
尽管现有技术像素单元电路被广泛使用,但是其仍然必不可免的存在以下问题:驱动晶体管M2的阈值电压Vth由于工艺制程的不均匀导致显示面板不同位置的驱动管存在差异,从而导致针对同样的数据驱动信号Vdata由于阈值电压的差异发光器件D1的电流(也就是亮度)不同,从而将会影响整个有机发光显示器的画面均匀性及其发光质量。
发明内容
本发明旨在至少解决现有技术中存在的技术问题之一,提供一种具有阈值补偿且结构简单的像素电路及其驱动方法、显示装置。
解决本发明技术问题所采用的技术方案是一种像素电路,包括:
第一晶体管,用于响应第N行扫描信号而传送数据电压;
第二晶体管,用于根据通过所述第一晶体管传送的所述数据电压,生成驱动电流;
第三晶体管,用于响应第N-1行扫描信号,对所述第二晶体管的阈值电压进行补偿;
存储电容,用于存储传送至所述第二晶体管的所述数据电压;
发光器件,用于在所述第二晶体管生成的驱动电流的驱动下发光。
优选的是,所述像素电路还包括:第四晶体管,用于响应所述第N-1行扫描信号,通过初始化电压对存储在所述存储电容中的数据电压进行放电。
进一步优选的是,所述第四晶体管的第一极连接初始化信号端,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极,控制极连接第N-1行扫描信号线。
优选的是,所述像素电路还包括:第五晶体管,用于响应第N行发光信号,向所述第二晶体管提供电源电压;
第六晶体管,用于响应第N+1行发光信号,将所述第二晶体管生成的驱动电流,输出给所述发光器件。

数据写入和阈值补偿保持阶段:给第N行扫描信号线输入扫描信号;此时,第一晶体管和第二晶体管保持开启,第一晶体管将数据电压传送给第二晶体管,第二晶体管保持为阈值补偿阶段的状态;
给第N行发光控制线写入工作电平信号;此时,第二晶体管和第五晶体管打开,给第二晶体管的第一极和第二极写入电源电压。
解决本发明技术问题所采用的技术方案是一种显示装置,其包括上述像素电路。
本发明具有如下有益效果:
由于本发明中所提供的像素电路,通过第三晶体管对第二晶体管的阈值电压进行补偿,因此可以改善显示面板的显示效果。而且第三晶体管响应于第N-1行扫描信号,因此像素电路中并没有增加控制线以控制第三晶体管,从而有利于实现显示面板的高分辨率设计。

具体实施方式
为使本领域技术人员更好地理解本发明的技术方案,下面结合附图和具体实施方式对本发明作进一步详细描述。
本发明实施例中的所采用的晶体管可以为薄膜晶体管或场效应管或其他特性的相同器件,由于采用的晶体管的源极和漏极在一定条件下是可以互换的,所以其源极、漏极从连接关系的描述上是没有区别的。在本发明实施例中,为区分晶体管的源极和漏极,将其中一极称为第一极,另一极称为第二极,栅极称为控制极。此外按照晶体管的特性区分可以将晶体管分为N型和P型,以下实施例中是以晶体管为P型晶体管进行说明的。当采用P型晶体管时,第一极为P型晶体管的源极,第二极为P型晶体管的漏极,栅极输入低电平时,源漏极导通,N型相反。可以想到的是采用晶体管为N型晶体管实现是本领域技术人员可以在没有付出创造性劳动前提下轻易想到的,因此也是在本发明实施例的保护范围内的。
实施例1:
如图2所示,本实施例提供一种像素电路,包括第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3,存储电容Cs,以及发光器件OLED;其中,第一晶体管T1用于响应第N行扫描信号而传送数据电压;第二晶体管T2用于根据通过所述第一晶体管T1传送的所述数据电压,生成驱动电流;第三晶体管T3用于响应第N-1行扫描信号,对所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压进行补偿;存储电容Cs用于存储传送至所述第二晶体管T2的所述数据电压;发光器件OLED用于在所述第二晶体管T2生成的驱动电流的驱动下发光。
由于本实施例中所提供的像素电路,通过第三晶体管T3对第二晶体管T2的阈值电压进行补偿,因此可以改善显示面板的显示效果。而且第三晶体管T3响应于第N-1行扫描信号,因此像素电路中并没有增加控制线以控制第三晶体管T3,从而有利于实现显示面板的高分辨率设计。
具体的,第一晶体管T1采用P型晶体管,其中,将施加在第N行扫描信号线GATEN上的第N行扫描信号施加到第一晶体管T1的栅极,将相关数据线DATA上的数据电压施加到第一晶体管T1的源极,第一晶体管T1的漏极连接第二晶体管T2的源极(也即图2中所示的N2节点)。
第二晶体管T2采用P型晶体管,其中,第二晶体管T2的栅极连接到存储电容Cs的第二端(也即图2中所示的N1节点),第二晶体管T2的漏极连接第三晶体管T3的漏极(也即图2中所示的N3节点)和发光器件OLED的第一极,发光器件OLED的第二极接低电压端。
第三晶体管T3采用P型晶体管,其中,第三晶体管T3的源极和漏极分别连接第二晶体管T2的栅极和漏极,第三晶体管T3的栅极连接第N-1行扫描信号线GATEN-1
存储电容Cs的第一端连接相关的电源电压端VDD,接收电源电压端所提供的电源电压。
另外,本实施例中像素电路还包括第五晶体管T5和第六晶体管T6;第五晶体管T5用于响应第N行发光信号,向所述第二晶体管T2提供电源电压;第六晶体管T6用于响应第N+1行发光信号,将所述第二晶体管T2生成的驱动电流,输出给所述发光器件OLED。
具体的,第五晶体管T5采用P型晶体管,其中,第五晶体管T5的源极连接电源电压端,第五晶体管T5的漏极连接所述第一晶体管T1的漏极和所述第二晶体管T2的源极,第五晶体管T5的栅极连接第N行发光控制线EMN
第六晶体管T6采用P型晶体管,其中,第六晶体管T6的源极连接第二晶体管T2的漏极和第三晶体管T3的漏极,第六晶体管T6的第二极连接发光器件OLED的第一极和第四晶体管T4的漏极,第六晶体管T6的栅极连接第N+1行发光控制线EMN+1
此外,本实施例的像素电路中还包括第四晶体管T4,用于响应所述第N-1行扫描信号,通过初始化电压对存储在所述存储电容Cs中的数据电压进行放电。
具体的,第四晶体管T4采用P型晶体管,第四晶体管T4的源极连接初始化信号端Vinit,第四晶体管T4的漏极连接所述发光器件OLED的第一极(也即图2中所示的N4节点),第四晶体管T4的栅极连接第N-1行扫描信号线GATEN-1
结合图2,以及图3所示的时序图,对本实施例中的像素电路的驱动方法进行说明。
其中,该像素电路包括第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3、第四晶体管T4、第五晶体管T5、第六晶体管T6、存储电容Cs,以及发光器件OLED:其中,第一晶体管T1的第一极连接数据线,第二极连接所述第二晶体管T2的第一极,控制极连接第N行扫描信号线GATEN;第二晶体管T2的第一极连接所述第一晶体管T1的第二极,第二极连接所述发光器件OLED的第一极,控制极连接第三晶体管T3的第一极和所述存储电容Cs的第二端;第三晶体管T3的第一极连接所述第二晶体管T2的控制极和所述存储电容Cs的第二端,第二极连接所述发光器件OLED的第一极,控制极连接第N-1行扫描信号线GATEN-1;第四晶体管T4的第一极连接初始化信号端,第二极连接所述发光器件OLED的第一极,控制极连接第N-1行扫描信号线GATEN-1;第五晶体管T5的第一极连接电源电压端VDD,第二极连接所述第一晶体管T1的第二极和所述第二晶体管T2的第一极,控制极连接第N行发光控制线EMN;第六晶体管T6的第一极连接所述第二晶体管T2的第二极和所述第三晶体管T3的第二极,第二极连接所述发光器件OLED的第一极和所述第四晶体管T4的第二极,控制极连接第N+1行发光控制线EMN+1。存储电容Cs的第一端连接电源电压端VDD,第二端连接所述第二晶体管T2的控制极和所述第三晶体管T3的第一极;发光器件OLED的第一极连接第二晶体管T2的第二极和所述第三晶体管T3的第二极,第二极连接低电源端。
该像素的驱动方法具体包括如下步骤:T1阶段(初始化阶段):如图4所示,给第N-1行扫描信号线GATEN-1、第N+1行发光控制线EMN+1输入低电平信号;给初始化信号端输入初始化信号;此时,第二晶体管T2,第三晶体管T3、第四晶体管T4、第六晶体管T6打开;将N1至N4节点的电位进行放电,并变为初始化电位,从而对存储电容Cs所存储的数据电压进行初始化。
T2阶段(数据写入和阈值补偿阶段):如图5所示,给第N-1行扫描信号线GATEN-1、第N行扫描信号线GATEN输入低电平信号;给数据线DATA写入数据电压信号;此时,第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3、第四晶体管T4打开;其中,数据电压信号写入N2节点,由于第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3同时打开,因此N1节点和N3节点的电位相等,均等于Vdata+Vth。
T3阶段(数据写入和阈值补偿保持阶段):如图6所示,给第N行扫描信号线GATEN输入低电平信号;此时,第一晶体管T1和第二晶体管T2保持开启。数据电压信号继续写入N2节点,N3节点的电位保持Vdata+Vth。在该阶段再次将数据电压写入N2节点,以使得存储电容Cs中的数据充分写入,以保证该像素电路在一帧显示时间内很好的驱动发光器件OLED发光;同时,保持N3节点的电位,以防止第二晶体管T2的阈值电压漂移,影响显示。
T4阶段(电源电压写入阶段):如图7所示,给第N行发光控制线EMN写入低电平信号;此时,第二晶体管T2和第五晶体管T5打开,此时N2节点和N3节点的电位为电源电压VDD。在该阶段,可以有效的防止第二晶体管产生漏电流影响显示。
T5阶段(发光阶段):如图8所示,给第N行发光控制线EMN、第N+1行发光控制线EMN+1写入低电平信号;此时,第二晶体管T2、第五晶体管T5和第六晶体管T6均打开,驱动发光器件OLED进行发光,此时流入发光器件OLED的电流Ids=kn(Vdata-VDD)2。因此,有效的避免了驱动晶体管的阈值电压对发光器件OLED的影响。
实施例2:
本实施例提供了一种显示装置,该显示装置包括实施例1中像素电路,此处不详细描述。
当然本实施例中该显示装置可以包括:OLED面板、手机、平板电脑、电视机、显示器、笔记本电脑、数码相框、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。
由于具有上述的像素电路,故本实施例的显示装置的画面均匀性明显提高。
可以理解的是,以上实施方式仅仅是为了说明本发明的原理而采用的示例性实施方式,然而本发明并不局限于此。对于本领域内的普通技术人员而言,在不脱离本发明的精神和实质的情况下,可以做出各种变型和改进,这些变型和改进也视为本发明的保护范围。

Claims (15)

1.一种像素电路,其特征在于,包括:
第一晶体管,用于响应第N行扫描信号而传送数据电压;
第二晶体管,用于根据通过所述第一晶体管传送的所述数据电压,生成驱动电流;
第三晶体管,用于响应第N-1行扫描信号,对所述第二晶体管的阈值电压进行补偿;
存储电容,用于存储传送至所述第二晶体管的所述数据电压;
发光器件,用于在所述第二晶体管生成的驱动电流的驱动下发光。
2.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,还包括:
第四晶体管,用于响应所述第N-1行扫描信号,通过初始化电压对存储在所述存储电容中的数据电压进行放电。
3.根据权利要求2所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述第四晶体管的第一极连接初始化信号端,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极,控制极连接第N-1行扫描信号线。
4.根据权利要求2所述的像素电路,其特征在于,还包括:
第五晶体管,用于响应第N行发光信号,向所述第二晶体管提供电源电压;
第六晶体管,用于响应第N+1行发光信号,将所述第二晶体管生成的驱动电流,输出给所述发光器件。
5.根据权利要求4所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述第五晶体管的第一极连接电源电压端,第二极连接所述第一晶体管的第二极和所述第二晶体管的第一极,控制极连接第N行发光控制线;
所述第六晶体管的第一极连接所述第二晶体管的第二极和所述第三晶体管的第二极,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极和所述第四晶体管的第二极,控制极连接第N+1行发光控制线。
6.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述第一晶体管的第一极连接数据线,第二极连接所述第二晶体管的第一极,控制极连接第N行扫描信号线。
7.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述第二晶体管的第一极连接所述第一晶体管的第二极,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极,控制极连接第三晶体管的第一极和所述存储电容的第二端。
8.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述第三晶体管的第一极连接所述第二晶体管的控制极和所述存储电容的第二端,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极,控制极连接第N-1行扫描信号线。
9.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述存储电容的第一端连接电源电压端,第二端连接所述第二晶体管的控制极和所述第三晶体管的第一极。
10.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述发光器件的第一极连接第二晶体管的第二极和所述第三晶体管的第二极,第二极连接低电源端。
11.一种像素电路,其特征在于,包括:第一晶体管、第二晶体管、第三晶体管、第四晶体管、第五晶体管、第六晶体管、存储电容,以及发光器件:其中,
所述第一晶体管的第一极连接数据线,第二极连接所述第二晶体管的第一极,控制极连接第N行扫描信号线;
所述第二晶体管的第一极连接所述第一晶体管的第二极,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极,控制极连接第三晶体管的第一极和所述存储电容的第二端;
所述第三晶体管的第一极连接所述第二晶体管的控制极和所述存储电容的第二端,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极,控制极连接第N-1行扫描信号线;
所述第四晶体管的第一极连接初始化信号端,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极,控制极连接第N-1行扫描信号线;
所述第五晶体管的第一极连接电源电压端,第二极连接所述第一晶体管的第二极和所述第二晶体管的第一极,控制极连接第N行发光控制线;
所述第六晶体管的第一极连接所述第二晶体管的第二极和所述第三晶体管的第二极,第二极连接所述发光器件的第一极和所述第四晶体管的第二极,控制极连接第N+1行发光控制线;
所述存储电容的第一端连接电源电压端,第二端连接所述第二晶体管的控制极和所述第三晶体管的第一极;
所述发光器件的第一极连接第二晶体管的第二极和所述第三晶体管的第二极,第二极连接低电源端。
12.一种如权利要求1-11中任一项所述的像素电路的驱动方法,其特征在于,包括:
数据写入和阈值补偿阶段:输入第N-1行扫描信号和第N行扫描信号,第一晶体管、第二晶体管、第三晶体管均打开,所述第一晶体管将数据电压传送给第二晶体管,第三晶体管对第二晶体管的阈值电压进行补偿;
发光阶段:通过第二晶体管驱动发光器件进行发光。
13.根据权利要求12所述的像素电路的驱动方法,所述像素电路为权利要求5所述的像素电路,其特征在于,还包括:
初始化阶段:输入第N-1行扫描信号和第N+1行发光信号,第二晶体管、第四晶体管、第五晶体管打开,通过初始化信号对存储电容中的数据电压进行放电。
14.根据权利要求13所述的像素电路的驱动方法,其特征在于,在所述数据写入和阈值补偿阶段之后,还包括:
数据写入和阈值补偿保持阶段:给第N行扫描信号线输入扫描信号;此时,第一晶体管和第二晶体管保持开启,第一晶体管将数据电压传送给第二晶体管,第二晶体管保持为阈值补偿阶段的状态;
给第N行发光控制线写入工作电平信号;此时,第二晶体管和第五晶体管打开,给第二晶体管的第一极和第二极写入电源电压。
15.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括权利要求1-11中任一项所述的像素电路。
