Abstract

本发明涉及酚醛空心微球的制备方法,包括:将热固酚醛树脂水溶液与适量的发泡剂、表面活性剂混匀,制成酚醛空心微球前驱物料;使用酚醛空心微球前驱物料以喷雾干燥法制备酚醛空心微球;其中,酚醛空心微球前驱物料中,热固酚醛树脂为100~120重量份;发泡剂为2~10重量份;表面活性剂为1~5重量份;发泡剂为有机发泡剂与无机发泡剂的组合物。本发明能够实现低密度酚醛空心微球的工业化高效生产,制备的空心微球密度可达0.1~0.24g/cm3,粒径小于300微米、破球率小于10%,堆积系数大于45%,具有密度低、粒径小、圆度规整、破球率低的优点。

Description

低密度酚醛空心微球的制备方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种低密度酚醛空心微球的制备方法。
背景技术
酚醛树脂空心微球是一种内核为空气或其它气体、外层为酚醛树脂的具有特殊中空结构的化工新材料。酚醛空心微球具有粒径小、密度低、热导率低、热稳定性优异、导温和导热系数低且能吸收电磁波等特点。由于其具有较小的密度,因此是一种新型的轻质结构材料,将其作为填料加到复合材料、涂层中,可以有效降低材料的密度,并实现防热/隔热性能。当酚醛空心微球作为轻质功能填料时,其自身密度越低,对于最终材料的减重效果越明显。
发明内容
本发明的目的是为解决以上问题,本发明提供一种低密度酚醛微球的制备方法。
根据本发明的一个方面,提供一种酚醛空心微球的制备方法,包括以下步骤:
将热固酚醛树脂水溶液与适量的发泡剂、表面活性剂混匀,制成酚醛空心微球前驱物料;
使用酚醛空心微球前驱物料以喷雾干燥法制备酚醛空心微球;
其中,酚醛空心微球原料包括以下质量份数的组成成份:
热固性酚醛树脂 100~120份;
发泡剂 2~10份;
表面活性剂 1~5份;
其中发泡剂为有机发泡剂与无机发泡剂的组合物,热固酚醛树脂水溶液的固含量为20-60%。
其中,发泡剂中,有机发泡剂和无机发泡剂配比为1:4~4:1。
其中,发泡剂中,有机发泡剂和无机发泡剂配比为3:1。
其中,所述有机发泡剂为发泡剂H、发泡剂AC、发泡剂OBSH和发泡剂ADC中的一种或多种,所述无机发泡剂为碳酸盐,包括碳酸氢钠、碳酸铵和碳酸氢铵。
其中,热固性酚醛树脂、发泡剂和表面活性剂按照以下重量份配比:
热固性酚醛树脂 100份;
发泡剂 4份;
表面活性剂 3份。
其中,通过喷雾干燥法制备酚醛空心微球的步骤包括,将酚醛空心微球前驱物料喷入具有送风温度为250~300℃的干燥塔内,制成酚醛空心微球,送风温度优选为270~290℃。
其中,酚醛空心微球前驱物料的粘度不超过1000厘泊。
根据本发明的另一方面,提供该制备方法制备的酚醛空心微球。
发泡剂是液态酚醛树脂雾滴发泡形成空心结构的关键组份。为了保证液态酚醛树脂在喷入干燥塔内快速气泡、固化,发泡剂的选择至关重要。通常情况下,有机发泡剂越多,则制备的空心微球的密度越小,但实验同样证明,过量的有机发泡剂会导致空心微球的圆度变差,使最终的产物沦为多囊泡结构,进而造成堆积系数变差。由此可见,空心微球的制备过程中,有机发泡剂的使用需适量,不宜过少或过多。本发明中,采用有机发泡剂和无机发泡剂复配作为发泡剂,且有机发泡剂和无机发泡剂的配比为1:4~4:1,在保证空心微球的低密度同时,确保堆积系数不会受到较大影响。
此外,本发明选用碳酸盐类发泡剂作为无机发泡剂,一方面其可以溶解在酚醛树脂中,起到均匀起泡的效果,避免多囊泡结构的形成;另一方面碳酸盐类发泡剂的加入,可以降低有机发泡剂的分解温度,促进有机发泡剂的充分分解,使有机发泡剂最大限度地发挥作用。
本发明中,通过重量比为100~120:2~10:1~5的甲阶液态热固性酚醛树脂、发泡剂和表面活性剂来配制酚醛空心微球前驱物料。发泡剂的用量过低,所制备的酚醛空心微球密度偏大,难以获得低密度的效果;用量过高后,容易产生多囊泡结构产物,产品堆积系数大幅度降低;表面活性剂是维持空心结构稳定的必要组分,合适的用量范围为1-5份。
酚醛空心微球前驱体物料通过雾化器喷入干燥塔后,需要在干燥塔内实现快速的发泡、固化。干燥塔进风温度的控制是能否获得空心微球产品的关键因素。本发明中,喷雾干燥法的进风温度为250~300℃,优选为270~290℃。进风温度偏低,则液态酚醛树脂难以交联固化,喷出的液态物料会大量粘附在干燥塔的内壁(湿性粘壁),无法获得预期的空心微球产品;进风温度过高,由于低密度酚醛空心微球的比表面积大,极易发生粉体燃烧爆炸等隐患。
本发明中,前驱体的粘度不宜超过1000厘泊,经实验证明,粘度过大,影响前驱体的雾化效果,雾化后容易形成丝状或带状产物,使得微球的圆度变差。
本发明能够实现低密度酚醛空心微球的工业化高效生产,制备的空心微球密度可达0.1~0.24g/cm3,粒径小于300微米、破球率小于10%,堆积系数大于45%,具有密度低、粒径小、圆度规整、破球率低的优点。

实施例1酚醛空心微球X1的制备方法
按照100:5:1:5的重量比称取水溶性甲阶液态热固性酚醛树脂、发泡剂H、碳酸氢钠和BD3088有机硅表面活性剂,使用混匀设备混匀。向混匀后的混合物加水,制成粘度为350厘泊的酚醛树脂空心微球前驱液。将酚醛树脂空心微球前驱液放入喷雾器雾化成细小液滴喷入高温的干燥塔中,向干燥塔中送入260℃热风干燥,制成酚醛空心微球X1。
经检测,酚醛空心微球X1的密度为0.22g/cm3,破球率为4.1%,堆积系数为49%。
实施例2酚醛空心微球X2的制备方法
按照100:1:3:1:3的重量比称取甲阶液态热固性酚醛树脂、发泡剂AC、发泡剂ADC和碳酸氢铵以及BD3088有机硅表面活性剂,使用混匀设备混匀加水,制成粘度度为300厘泊的酚醛树脂空心微球前驱液。将酚醛树脂空心微球前驱液雾化成细小液滴喷入高温的干燥塔中,向干燥塔中送入270℃热风干燥,制成酚醛空心微球X2。
经检测,酚醛空心微球X2的密度为0.23g/cm3,破球率为7.1%,堆积系数为46%。
实施例3酚醛空心微球X3的制备方法
按照120:2.5:7.5:1的重量比称取甲阶液态热固性酚醛树脂、发泡剂ADC、碳酸氢铵以及BD3088有机硅表面活性剂,使用混匀设备混匀,制成酚醛树脂空心微球前驱物料。将酚醛树脂空心微球前驱物料放入喷雾器喷入高温的干燥塔中,同时向干燥塔中送入300℃热风干燥,制成酚醛空心微球X3。
经检测,酚醛空心微球X3的密度为0.15g/cm3,破球率为7.1%,堆积系数为46%。

Claims (4)

1.低密度酚醛空心微球的制备方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
将热固酚醛树脂水溶液与适量的发泡剂、表面活性剂混匀,制成酚醛空心微球前驱物料;
使用酚醛空心微球前驱物料以喷雾干燥法制备酚醛空心微球;
其中,酚醛空心微球原料包括以下质量份数的组成成份:
热固性酚醛树脂 100~120份;
发泡剂 2~10份;
表面活性剂 1~5份;
其中发泡剂为有机发泡剂与无机发泡剂的组合物,所述热固酚醛树脂水溶液的固含量为20-60%;并且所述微球前驱物料的粘度达到300厘泊~350厘泊;
发泡剂中,有机发泡剂和无机发泡剂重量比为5:1、4:1或1:3;
所述有机发泡剂为发泡剂H、发泡剂AC、发泡剂OBSH和发泡剂ADC中的一种或多种,所述无机发泡剂为碳酸盐,包括碳酸氢钠、碳酸铵和碳酸氢铵;
所述喷雾干燥法制备酚醛空心微球的步骤包括,将酚醛空心微球前驱物料喷入具有送风温度为250~300℃的干燥塔内,制成酚醛空心微球。
2.如权利要求1所述的制备方法,其特征在于,热固性酚醛树脂水溶液、发泡剂和表面活性剂按照以下重量份配比:
水溶性热固性酚醛树脂 100份;
发泡剂 4份;
表面活性剂 3份。
3.如权利要求1所述制备方法,其特征在于,送风温度为270~290℃。
4.如权利要求1-3任一项所述的制备方法制备的酚醛空心微球。
