技术领域
本发明涉及一种分散体颜料、用于生产分散体颜料的方法、分散体颜料的应用以及碱金属烷基硅醇盐用于稳定分散体颜料的应用。
背景技术
对于基底的涂层来说已知不同的涂层剂。在硅酸盐颜料之外还有分散体硅酸盐颜料和人工合成分散体颜料等。
硅酸盐颜料是不含有机组分的双组分颜料。硅酸盐颜料的两个主要组分是水玻璃和耐水玻璃的色素。硅酸盐颜料通常直接在施加之前通过将两种主要组分放在一起而混合。因此,硅酸盐颜料需要多个工作步骤,并且其加工通常是困难的并且需要很多经验。
在根据DIN 18363的分散体硅酸盐颜料中,在水玻璃和耐水玻璃的色素之外还含有基于分散体硅酸盐颜料的总重量计算最大5重量%的有机组分。作为有机组分主要使用合成树脂分散体。额外地也可以含有其他的物质,如疏水剂。通过添加合成树脂分散体实现了将分散体硅酸盐颜料作为单组分系统提供。

发明内容

不限制于特定的理论,碱金属烷基硅醇盐一方面可以稳定分散体颜料,尤其分散体颜料的pH值,并且另一方面促成了良好的组分相容性。这里,碱金属烷基硅醇盐显然作用为pH值缓冲剂。仅存在有机粘合剂在该分散体颜料的pH值下有利于组分间的相容性。鉴于在DE 1031910中提及和必需的添加剂,这种效果对于具有最大40%添加剂浓度以提高储存稳定性的碱金属烷基硅醇盐溶液来说是不可预见的。
在本发明的意义中,作为分散体颜料可考虑的尤其是分散体内部颜料、分散体外部颜料、有机硅树脂颜料以及以分散体为基的灰浆,包括内部灰浆和外部灰浆。
根据本发明的碱金属烷基硅醇盐尤其是化学式为MOSi(R)(OH)2的化合物,其中M为碱金属并且R为烷基取代基。碱金属烷基硅醇盐例如可以通过烷基硅烷三醇与碱金属氢氧化物的反应得到。碱金属烷基硅醇盐溶液,尤其水溶液的生产例如在DE 1031910中有说明。
在考虑用于根据本发明的碱金属烷基硅烷醇盐的化合物MOSi(R)(OH)2中,碱金属M尤其选自下列组别:锂、钠、钾和其混合物。烷基取代基R优选选自甲基,乙基,正丙基,异丙基,正丁基,异丁基,叔丁基,正戊基,异戊基,叔戊基,新戊基,苯基,芳基和环己基。烷基取代基优选为甲基。根据本发明的分散体颜料的碱金属烷基硅醇盐更加优选地选自下列组别:甲基硅醇锂,甲基硅醇钠和甲基硅醇钾。碱金属烷基硅醇盐最优选为甲基硅醇钾。这些碱金属烷基硅醇盐,特别是甲基硅酸钾,产生均匀的表面并易于处理。
根据本发明的分散体颜料中所含有的碱金属烷基硅醇盐的量为基于该分散体颜料的总重量计算0.1至3.5重量%。根据本发明的分散体颜料优选含有0.1至2重量%、尤其0.3至2重量%或者0.5至1.5重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,分别基于该分散体颜料的总重量计算。具有这些含量的分散体颜料显示出良好的可加工性和良好的储存稳定性。
根据本发明,分散体颜料含有1至15重量%的色素。可考虑不同物质作为色素。该色素优选选自下列组别:二氧化钛,氧化铁黄,芳基化物(单偶氮),钒酸铋,芘酮,金红石-锡-锌,喹吖啶酮,二酮吡咯并吡咯,氧化铁红,酞菁蓝,二恶嗪,钴蓝,群青蓝,酞菁绿,氧化铬绿,钴绿,彩色炭黑,氧化铁黑,吡唑并喹唑酮,萘酚AS单一色素及其混合物。根据本发明的一个优选的实施形式,分散体颜料含有3至13重量%,更加优选5至12重量%的色素。
根据一个实施形式优选使用无机色素。无机色素的实例为氧化物,如二氧化钛,氧化铁,例如P.Y.42,P.R.101,P.Bk.11,氧化铬绿,例如P.G.17,混合相色素,例如氧化钴蓝P.B.28和氧化钴绿P.G.50,钒酸铋P.Y.184,金红石-锡-锌P.O.216,硅酸盐,例如群青蓝P.B.29和碳,例如炭黑P.Bk.7。
根据另一个实施形式优选使用有机色素。有机色素的实例为偶氮颜料,例如芳基黄(单偶氮)P.Y.74,多环色素,例如喹吖啶酮P.R.122,芘酮P.O.43,吡唑并喹唑酮P.O.67,二酮吡咯并吡咯(DPP)P.R.254,二恶嗪P.V.23和金属络合物色素,例如铜酞菁蓝P.B.15:3和铜酞菁绿P.G.7。
为这些实例所应用的无机和有机色素的名称对应于英国染色师和着色师协会颜色指数的通用名称。
根据另一个实施形式使用无机和有机色素的混合物。
通过使用所述色素可以生产彩色的分散体颜料,其基本上覆盖了整个色谱。
除了色素,聚合物,碱金属烷基硅醇盐和水组分之外,根据本发明的分散体颜料还含有填料。填料优选选自下列组别:白云石,硫酸钡,长石,石英,碳酸钙,云母,高岭土,煅烧高岭土,滑石,硅藻土及其混合物。填料更优选为至少碳酸钙和高岭土的混合物。这种填料提供了具有良好可加工性的分散体颜料。
碳酸钙可以以不同的形式使用,例如以白垩或方解石的形式。
实际试验显示出,当填料颗粒较小时,可得到尤其提供均匀涂层的分散体颜料。根据本发明的分散体颜料的填料颗粒优选具有小于100μm,尤其小于80μm,优选从0.1至50μm,更加优选由1至30μm的大小。用于确定颗粒大小的方法对于专业人员来说是已知的。例如,颗粒尺寸可以借助于磨光计,根据DIN EN ISO 1524,特别是根据DIN EN ISO 1524:2013-06测定。这里,填料的粒度特别与分散颜料中的最大积聚物尺寸有关。此外,粒度,特别是粒度分布,也可以通过透射电子显微镜确定。
根据本发明,分散体颜料的pH值为10至12,优选10.5至11.5。已经发现,具有所示pH值的分散体颜料在多个周的存储时间内也不发生或仅轻微变色,即使在其基本不含防腐剂的情况下。分散体颜料pH值更加优选为10.5至11.4。根据本发明的具有这种pH值的分散体颜料具有额外的优势,即在不采取特殊的有关操作保护的预防措施的情况下也可以应用。
例如可以通过添加碱性物质(也称为碱化剂)来调节pH。碱性物质的实例是碱金属氢氧化物,例如氢氧化锂,氢氧化钠和/或氢氧化钾,碱金属氢氧化物,例如氢氧化镁,氢氧化钙和/或氢氧化钡,氢氧化铵,硬硅钙石(6CaO·6SiO2·H2O)和/或钙矾石(Ca6[Al(OH)6]2(SO4×26H2O))。硬硅钙石优选具有单斜晶系(单斜晶硬硅钙石)。已经发现,硬硅钙石和/或钙矾石可特别有利地与存在于根据本发明的分散体颜料中的碱金属烷基硅醇盐组合使用。特别地,除了碱金属烷基硅醇盐之外还含有硬硅钙石和/或钙矾石作为碱化剂的分散体颜料显示出提高的pH稳定性。根据本发明的一个优选实施方案,根据本发明的分散体颜料除碱金属烷基硅醇盐外还含有0.005至3重量%,特别是0.01至1重量%含量的碱化剂,其基于分散体颜料的总组成计算。特别地,根据本发明的分散体颜料可以含有基于该分散体颜料的总组成计算的0.005至3重量%,特别是0.01至1重量%的硬硅钙石和/或钙矾石。
根据本发明的一个实施形式,根据本发明的分散体颜料的pH值在至少4周,优选至少8周,更加优选至少12周,还要更加优选至少16周,还要更加优选至少20周的时间间隔中基本保持恒定。
根据本发明,分散体颜料含有基于该分散体颜料总重量计算1至25重量%的聚合物。分散体颜料优选含有2至23重量%,更加优选4至20重量%的聚合物,其分别基于该分散体颜料的总重量计算。关于分散体颜料中的聚合物含量的数据分别涉及作为固体份额的聚合物。然而在生产分散体颜料时优选将聚合物以分散体,尤其以水性分散体的形式添加。有利地,这些聚合物分散体,尤其水性聚合物分散体含有40至70重量%,优选45至60重量%,更加优选45至55重量%的聚合物。如果将聚合物作为水性聚合物分散体添加,那么将聚合物分散体中的水作为分散体颜料总的水含量的一部分来计算。具有这种含量聚合物的分散体颜料显示出了良好的加工特性。
有不同的聚合物适合作为分体散颜料的聚合物。根据本发明的分散体颜料的聚合物优选含有至少一种基于至少一种选自下列组别的单体的聚合物和/或共聚物:丙烯酸,丙烯酸衍生物,丙烯酸酯,甲基丙烯酸,甲基丙烯酸衍生物,甲基丙烯酸酯,苯乙烯,苯乙烯衍生物,N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮,丙烯腈,乙酸乙烯酯,丙酸乙烯酯,烯键式不饱和羧酸,烯键式不饱和羧酸酯,烯键式不饱和羧酸酐,烯键式不饱和羧酸酰胺和羧酸乙烯基酯。分散体颜料的聚合物特别优选含有至少一种基于丙烯酸衍生物和/或苯乙烯的聚合物。当使用丙烯酸酯和/或甲基丙烯酸酯时,醇取代基优选含有1至12个碳原子。醇取代基还可以具有支链或没有支链。根据一个优选的实施形式,分散体颜料的聚合物由至少一种上述聚合物和/或共聚物组成。
根据本发明的分散体颜料可另外含有分散剂,润湿剂,增稠剂,稳定剂,消泡剂和/或疏水剂作为其它添加剂。
增稠剂的实例是醇烷氧基化物,环氧乙烷-环氧丙烷共聚物,马来酸酐-二异丁烯共聚物,聚丙烯酸和聚甲基丙烯酸及其盐,甲基纤维素,羧甲基纤维素,羟甲基纤维素,聚氨酯,碱金属磷酸盐和改性磷酸盐,以及它们的混合物。
消泡剂的实例是聚乙二醇,甘油三酯,聚硅氧烷-聚醚共聚物和硅油。
疏水剂的实例特别是低聚和聚合硅氧烷和有机硅树脂。
根据一个优选的实施形式,根据本发明的分散体颜料基本上不含防腐剂,特别是不含异噻唑啉。
此外,本发明提供了用于生产根据本发明的分散体颜料的方法,其包括下列步骤:
a.提供组合物,其包含分别以分散体颜料的总重量计算的
i.1至15重量%的色素,
ii.30至60重量%的填料,
iii.1至25重量%的聚合物,
iv.0.1至3.5重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,
v.25至70重量%的水
b.将在a中提及的组分进行分散,
c.将pH值调整至10至12。
所示出的步骤可以以任意的顺序实施,其优选以所给出的顺序实施。
在根据本发明的分散体颜料方面针对碱金属烷基硅醇盐的所述内容同样地适用于根据本发明的方法中的碱金属烷基硅醇盐。
在根据本发明的分散体颜料方面针对色素的所述内容同样地适用于根据本发明的方法中的色素。
在根据本发明的分散体颜料方面针对填料的所述内容同样地适用于根据本发明的方法中的填料。
在根据本发明的分散体颜料方面针对pH值和碱性物质的所述内容同样地适用于根据本发明的方法中的pH值和碱性物质。
在根据本发明的分散体颜料方面针对聚合物的所述内容同样地适用于根据本发明的方法中的聚合物。
根据本发明的分散体颜料适用于不同的应用。其尤其适用于在内部区域和/或外部区域中的应用。
本发明同样涉及碱金属烷基硅醇盐,尤其甲基硅醇钾用于稳定分散体颜料的应用。
接下来通过实例进一步说明本发明,这些实例仅仅用于说明而不是限定性的。
具体实施方式
具有下列示出在表1中的配方的分散体颜料通过将在表1中示出的组分混合来生产,用量单位分别为重量%。

配方A和B示出了超过6个月而不变色的储存稳定性并且可以良好地进行加工。这些配方尤其显示出良好的可加工性并在施加后产生具有均匀的总体外观的表面。6个月后配方A的pH值为11.3,配方B的为11.4。

Claims (22)

1.分散体颜料,所述分散体颜料含有分别基于所述分散体颜料的总重量计算的以下组分:
a.1至15重量%的色素,
b.30至60重量%的填料,
c.1至25重量%的聚合物,
d.0.1至3.5重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,
e.0.005至3重量%的硬硅钙石和/或钙矾石,
f.25至70重量%的水,
其中所述分散体颜料的pH值为10至12。
2.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料含有0.1至2重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,分别基于所述分散体颜料的总重量计算。
3.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料含有0.3至2重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,分别基于所述分散体颜料的总重量计算。
4.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料含有0.5至1.5重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,分别基于所述分散体颜料的总重量计算。
5.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述碱金属烷基硅醇盐为甲基硅醇钾。
6.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述色素选自下列组别:二氧化钛,氧化铁黄,单偶氮的芳基化物,钒酸铋,芘酮,金红石-锡-锌,喹吖啶酮,二酮吡咯并吡咯,氧化铁红,酞菁蓝,二恶嗪,钴蓝,群青蓝,酞菁绿,氧化铬绿,钴绿,彩色炭黑,氧化铁黑,吡唑并喹唑酮。
7.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述填料选自下列组别:白云石,硫酸钡,长石,石英,碳酸钙,云母,高岭土,滑石,硅藻土。
8.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述填料为至少由碳酸钙和高岭土组成的混合物。
9.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料的pH值为10.5至11.5。
10.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料的pH值为10.5至11.4。
11.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料的pH值在至少4周的时间中保持恒定。
12.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料的pH值在至少8周的时间中保持恒定。
13.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料的pH值在至少12周的时间中保持恒定。
14.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料的pH值在至少16周的时间中保持恒定。
15.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料的pH值在至少20周的时间中保持恒定。
16.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料含有2至23重量%的聚合物,其分别基于该分散体颜料的总重量计算。
17.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,所述分散体颜料含有4至20重量%的聚合物,其分别基于该分散体颜料的总重量计算。
18.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,聚合物含有至少一种基于至少一种选自下列组别的单体的聚合物:丙烯酸,丙烯酸衍生物,甲基丙烯酸,甲基丙烯酸衍生物,苯乙烯,苯乙烯衍生物,N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮,丙烯腈,乙酸乙烯酯,丙酸乙烯酯,烯键式不饱和羧酸酐,烯键式不饱和羧酸酰胺。
19.根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料,其特征在于,作为其它添加剂,所述分散体颜料含有分散剂,润湿剂,增稠剂,稳定剂,消泡剂和/或疏水剂。
20.用于生产根据权利要求1所述的分散体颜料的方法,所述方法包括下列步骤:
a.提供组合物,其包含分别以分散体颜料的总重量计算的
i.1至15重量%的色素,
ii.30至60重量%的填料,
iii.1至25重量%的聚合物,
iv.0.1至3.5重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,
v.0.005至3重量%的硬硅钙石和/或钙矾石,vi.25至70重量%的水
b.将在a中提及的组分进行分散,
c.将pH值调整至10至12。
21.根据权利要求20所述的方法,其特征在于,所述组合物含有0.1至2重量%的碱金属烷基硅醇盐,分别基于所述组合物的总重量计算,和/或所述金属烷基硅醇盐为甲基硅醇钾,和/或所述色素选自下列组别:二氧化钛,氧化铁黄,单偶氮的芳基化物,钒酸铋,芘酮,金红石-锡-锌,喹吖啶酮,二酮吡咯并吡咯,氧化铁红,酞菁蓝,二恶嗪,钴蓝,群青蓝,酞菁绿,氧化铬绿,钴绿,彩色炭黑,氧化铁黑,吡唑并喹唑酮,和/或所述填料选自下列组别:白云石,硫酸钡,长石,石英,碳酸钙,云母,高岭土,滑石,硅藻土,和/或所述分散体颜料的pH值为10.5至11.5,和/或所述分散体颜料的pH值在至少4周的时间中基本保持恒定,和/或所述组合物含有2至23重量%的聚合物,其分别基于所述组合物的总重量计算,和/或所述聚合物含有至少一种基于至少一种选自下列组别的单体的聚合物:丙烯酸,丙烯酸衍生物甲基丙烯酸,甲基丙烯酸衍生物,苯乙烯,苯乙烯衍生物,N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮,丙烯腈,乙酸乙烯酯,丙酸乙烯酯,烯键式不饱和羧酸酐,烯键式不饱和羧酸酰胺,和/或所述组合物含有分散剂,润湿剂,增稠剂,稳定剂,消泡剂和/或疏水剂作为其它添加剂。
22.根据权利要求1至19中任意一项所述的分散体颜料用于内部区域和/或外部区域的应用。
