本发明组合物的显著之处在于它首先用于对牙体硬组织进行空气抛光处理,其次,由于凝胶第二粉末的存在,形成含有处理剂的活性凝胶并且能够对经处理的牙齿施加长时间的作用,特别是治疗作用。更确切地,并且如下面更详细地描述,本发明的组合物,当由空气抛光机在经处理的组织相对短的距离处喷射时,其用于进行所需的抛光,而当空气抛光机进一步移开经处理的牙齿时,其用于形成活性凝胶。因此,通过本发明的组合物,可以使用单一组合物和单个空气抛光工具进行两个连续的操作,第一个操作是抛光牙体硬组织,第二个操作是用存在于所形成的活性凝胶中的处理剂处理牙体组织。形成的活性凝胶可用于处理牙体硬组织和/或牙体软组织。活性凝胶的形成有利于使牙体处理剂能够在相对长的持续时间内起作用。因此,本发明的组合物有利地使得能够通过将其与可以通过沉积凝胶进行的任何类型的牙体处理相关联来更大程度地使常规牙体空气抛光处理功能化,而如果没有这样做会使处理更加复杂或延长处理所需的时间。
凝胶剂可以是有机化合物。在一个变体中,凝胶剂可以是无机化合物。
在一个实施方案中,凝胶剂可选自:泊洛沙姆、卡波姆、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮、聚乙二醇、聚乙烯醇、海藻提取物、果实提取物、明胶、植物种子胶、植物分泌物、纤维素或纤维素衍生物、微生物分泌物、聚氧乙烯脂肪酸酯、聚氧乙烯山梨糖醇脂肪酸酯、粘土、以及它们的混合物。
泊洛沙姆型凝胶剂可以为具有聚乙二醇(PEG)-聚丙二醇(PPG)-聚乙二醇嵌段的共聚物。
例如,海藻提取物类型的凝胶剂可选自:琼脂、角叉菜胶、藻酸盐、海藻酸或红藻胶。例如,藻酸盐型凝胶剂可选自:海藻酸钠、海藻酸钾、海藻酸铵、海藻酸钙或丙烷-1,2-二醇藻酸盐。
例如,果实提取物型凝胶剂可以是果胶。
例如,植物种子胶型凝胶剂可选自:角豆胶、瓜尔豆胶或燕麦胶。
例如,植物分泌物型凝胶剂可选自:阿拉伯树胶、梧桐树胶或黄蓍胶。
例如,纤维素衍生物型凝胶剂可选自:甲基纤维素、乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素、甲基乙基纤维素或羧甲基纤维素。
例如,微生物分泌物型凝胶剂可选自:黄原胶或结冷胶。
例如,聚氧乙烯脂肪酸酯型凝胶剂可以是聚氧乙烯硬脂酸酯。
例如,聚氧乙烯山梨糖醇脂肪酸酯型凝胶剂可选自:聚氧乙烯-20-脱水山梨糖醇单月桂酸酯、聚氧乙烯-20-脱水山梨糖醇单油酸酯、聚氧乙烯-20-脱水山梨糖醇单棕榈酸酯、聚氧乙烯-20-脱水山梨糖醇单硬脂酸酯、或聚氧乙烯-20-脱水山梨糖醇三硬脂酸酯。
例如,粘土型凝胶剂可选自:高岭土、硅铝酸镁、膨润土或锂蒙脱石。
优选地,凝胶剂选自:泊洛沙姆、羟丙基甲基纤维素、角叉菜胶,以及它们的混合物。
在一个实施方案中,第二粉末可以在0.5重量%至80重量%范围内的含量存在于组合物中,例如在0.5重量%至50重量%的范围内。
在一个实施方案中,第二粉末颗粒的平均尺寸可以在0.5微米(μm)至400μm的范围内。

例如,第三粉末可具有在0.5μm至500μm范围内的平均粒度,例如在0.5μm至200μm的范围内。

本发明还提供了一种牙体空气抛光工具,其具有喷嘴和含有如上所述的组合物的罐,该喷嘴构造成在压力下喷射由液体射流包围的所述组合物。
本发明还提供如上所述的组合物,其中处理剂是用作牙体组织治疗处理中药物的治疗剂。
在这种情况下,治疗处理可至少包括:
·空气抛光牙体硬组织,在此期间,由液体射流包围的组合物在压力下通过空气抛光工具的喷嘴喷射到所述组织上,喷嘴在空气抛光期间位于经处理的牙齿的第一距离处;
·在空气抛光之后,将喷嘴放置在经处理的牙齿的第二距离处,所述第二距离大于第一距离;和

具体实施方式
图1显示了本发明方法的第一步骤,在第一步骤期间使用本发明的组合物对牙齿D进行空气抛光。在所示的实施例中,牙齿D是门牙。当然,处理其他类型的牙齿不会超出本发明的范围。用于处理的牙齿D在其表面上具有多个裂缝F,该裂缝被待除去的物质S的沉积物覆盖,例如牙菌斑的沉积物。
在该第一步骤中,使用牙体空气抛光工具10在压力下通过工具10的喷嘴11喷射空气抛光组合物1。更确切地,组合物1的射流和包围射流1的液体锥15通过喷嘴11喷射。例如,液体15可以是水。适合使用的空气抛光工具10的实例是由供应商Acteon以名称Air-N-销售的空气抛光机。如上所述,喷射组合物1至少包含以下三种成分的混合物:磨料粒子的第一粉末;凝胶剂的第二粉末;和牙体处理剂的第三粉末。组合物1可以为粉末。第一粉末可以不同于第二粉末。第一粉末可以不同于第三粉末。第二粉末可以不同于第三粉末。在一个变体中,第二粉末和第三粉末可以相同。例如,当使用的凝胶剂是泊洛沙姆时,这是可能的,其可以具有防腐效果,因此同时构成凝胶剂和治疗剂。如以下详细描述的,将凝胶剂构造成在经处理的牙齿上与由空气抛光工具10喷射的液体混合时形成凝胶。有利地,组合物1还可以包含抗结块剂,如上所述。
喷射组合物1对牙齿D的冲击用于清洁牙齿D的表面并消除沉积物S。在该第一步骤中,喷嘴11位于距牙齿D相对短的距离d1处以进行处理。因此,组合物1的射流以相对高的压力冲击牙齿T,从而消除了存在于牙齿D上的沉积物S。例如,距离d1小于或等于0.5厘米(cm)。
此外,在最后步骤期间,仍然由于这种高压,组合物1的成分不会沉积在牙齿D上超过几秒钟,而是在冲击之后它们立即与物质S一起从牙齿D的表面除去。例如,在该第一步骤期间牙齿的处理可以持续至少一秒,并且例如可以持续三秒。有利地,第一粉末可以包含至少一种下列化合物:碳酸氢钠、碳酸钙、甘氨酸、硅酸盐、二氧化硅、氢氧化硅、碳化硅、粉末状浮石、金刚石粉末、氧化铝、氢氧化铝,或这些化合物的混合物。有利地,第一粉末可以包含至少一种下列化合物:碳酸氢钠、碳酸钙、甘氨酸,或这些化合物的混合物。
一旦进行了抛光步骤,使用者将喷嘴11稍微远离已经以这种方式清洁的牙齿D,以便将其定位在距离d2处并在牙齿D上形成活性凝胶20。如图1至图3所示的实施例,牙齿的处理部分位于牙龈上方:这是龈上牙体处理方法。例如,距离d2大于或等于0.6cm,例如,1cm。该步骤的性能如图2所示。活性凝胶20是由第二种粉末与工具10喷射的水混合而形成的。由于喷射在牙齿D上的组合物1的冲击压力降低,仅当喷嘴11距离牙齿D相对远时才形成凝胶20,因此能够使组合物1的成分沉积在牙齿D上并使凝胶剂与液体混合形成凝胶。有利地,凝胶剂可选自:泊洛沙姆、羟丙基甲基纤维素、甲基纤维素、角叉菜胶,以及它们的混合物。形成的活性凝胶20含有最初存在于组合物1中的牙体处理剂。牙体处理剂可以是如上所述的治疗剂。活性凝胶20用于填充存在于牙齿D表面中的裂缝F并且在相对长的持续时间(例如,至少一分钟,例如,数分钟)内进行牙体处理。因此,活性凝胶20使得能够实现以下作用中的至少一种:经处理的牙体组织的再矿化、脱敏或消毒。活性凝胶20构造成保持与牙齿D接触,以进行所期望的牙体处理。有利地,活性凝胶20可以是水溶性的,从而一旦进行牙体处理就逐渐溶解在患者的口腔中。
在第一步骤和第二步骤之后获得的经处理的牙齿D'示于图3中。如图所示,作为本发明处理的结果,可以填充最初在未经处理的牙齿D中存在的裂缝F。
图4至图6示出了患有牙周炎的牙齿D的处理。该牙齿D在所示的实施例中是臼齿。首先使用具有如上所述的组合物的工具10进行空气抛光,以消除存在于牙齿D表面的物质S(参见图4)。一旦完成清洁,则将喷嘴11进一步远离经处理的牙齿,以在经处理的牙齿上形成活性凝胶20(参见图5)。活性凝胶20特别地在缩回的牙龈G和牙齿D之间存在的牙周袋P中形成。所进行的处理用于治疗牙周炎并使牙龈能够自我恢复。形成的凝胶20还可以包括再矿化剂,以恢复经处理的牙齿的牙釉质。处理后,获得支撑经处理的牙齿D'的健康牙龈G'。对于这种类型的龈下处理,有利地可以使用如下组合物:其具有大量弱磨蚀力的磨料粒子或少量具有强磨蚀力的磨料。
实施例
在实施例中,除非另有说明,否则所有比例均以重量百分比表示,除非另有规定,否则温度以摄氏度(℃)测量,压力等于大气压(1巴)。
实施例1
制备具有下表1中列出的组成的空气抛光组合物。

通过将一半量的碳酸氢钠和一半量的Aerosil R972加入到包含硝酸钙四水合物和磷酸氢二钠十二水合物的混合物中来制备第一预混合物A。使用以商标Frogerais销售的立方体混合器将混合物均匀化。然后使用振动筛将混合物在200μm下进行筛分。
通过混合另一半量的碳酸氢钠、另一半量的Aerosil R972、糖精钠、氟化钠、硝酸钾和泊洛沙姆来制备第二预混合物B。使用以商标Frogerais销售的立方体混合器将混合物均匀化。然后使用振动筛将混合物在200μm下进行筛分。
然后将预混合物A和预混合物B均匀化,以获得上表1中列出的组合物。
然后使用由供应商Poitemill Forplex销售的锤磨机和振动筛分别将由此方式获得的组合物破碎并以200μm进行筛分。
当使用由供应商Malvern销售的激光粒度仪型仪器测量时,所得的用于空气抛光的粉末组合物呈现良好的干燥流动并且D50平均粒度在70μm至90μm的范围内。
当结合在牙体空气抛光工具中时,该组合物首先用于进行龈上抛光,然后通过移开空气抛光工具的喷嘴,在经处理的牙齿上形成再矿化和脱敏凝胶。在这方面,图7是涂有黑色涂料层的卡基材SU的照片,在其上通过牙体空气抛光工具喷射实施例1的组合物。区域Z1对应于在短程“处理”的区域。抛光这些区域Z1而不形成凝胶。可以看出,在区域Z1中形成抛光之后,黑色涂料的涂层被消除,从而露出下面的基材,其在图7的照片中呈现白色。区域Z2对应于最初抛光的区域,如同区域Z1,然后空气抛光工具的喷嘴移开以形成凝胶。由于凝胶的形成,这些区域Z2在图7的照片中呈现灰色。

实施例3

通过用供应商Poitemill Forplex销售的锤磨机研磨甘氨酸来制备该组合物。然后将以下物质依次加入到经研磨的甘氨酸中:糖精钠、薄荷精油、盐酸利多卡因、羟基磷灰石、Methocel E4M和Aerosil R972。使用供应商Olsa销售的V型混合器均匀化该组合物,然后用振动筛在300μm下进行筛分。
所得组合物的平均粒度在15μm至35μm的范围内,用供应商Malvern出售的“Mastersizer 2000”型激光粒度仪测量。
在形成活性凝胶之后,当在牙周袋中施用并同时清洁牙周袋时,可以使用以这种方式制备的组合物来麻醉牙体软组织。
实施例4

通过将一半量的甘氨酸和一半量的Aerosil R972加入到氯化铝和高岭土的混合物中来制备预混合物A。使用以商标Frogerais销售的立方体混合器将混合物均匀化,然后用振动筛在200μm下进行筛分。
通过混合另一半量的甘氨酸、糖精钠、柠檬精油、甲基纤维素和另一半量的Aerosil R972来制备第二预混合物B。使用供应商Servolift销售的立方体混合器将混合物均匀化,然后使用具有商标Frewitt的振荡研磨机在200μm下进行筛分。

Claims (14)
1.一种用于空气抛光牙体硬组织表面的组合物,所述组合物至少包含:
·适用于抛光牙体硬组织的磨料的第一粉末,所述第一粉末包含碳酸氢钠、碳酸钙、甘氨酸、硅酸盐、二氧化硅、氢氧化硅、碳化硅、粉末状浮石、金刚石粉末、氧化铝、氢氧化铝,或这些化合物的混合物;
·凝胶剂的第二粉末,所述凝胶剂选自:泊洛沙姆、羟丙基甲基纤维素、甲基纤维素、角叉菜胶,以及它们的混合物;以及
·牙体处理剂的第三粉末,所述牙体处理剂为治疗剂或着色剂。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,所述第二粉末在组合物中的存在含量在0.5重量%至80重量%范围内。
3.根据权利要求1或权利要求2所述的组合物,所述第二粉末的颗粒平均尺寸在0.5μm至400μm的范围内。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的组合物,所述第一粉末包含碳酸氢钠、碳酸钙、甘氨酸,或这些化合物的混合物。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的组合物,所述第一粉末包含甘氨酸,所述第二粉末包含泊洛沙姆。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的组合物,所述第一粉末包含碳酸氢钠,所述第二粉末包含泊洛沙姆。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任一项所述的组合物,所述第一粉末在组合物中的存在含量在15重量%至98重量%范围内。
8.根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的组合物,所述第一粉末的颗粒平均尺寸在5μm至500μm的范围内。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的组合物,其包含:
