技术领域
本申请要求2016年8月12日在韩国提交的韩国专利申请No.10-2016-0103084的优先权,该申请的公开内容通过引用并入本文。
本公开涉及一种电池模块,更具体地,涉及一种具有其中单体由外部框架支撑的结构的电池模块及其框架组件。
背景技术
通常,电池模块形成为通过串联和/或并联连接而组装多个单体的结构。这样的电池模块被示例说明,其典型地包括:单体组件,其中多个单体在一个方向上布置和堆叠;和框架,其具有能够围绕单体组件的板。
相关技术的电池模块被制造成这样的结构,其中单体组件20由通过挤出或压铸方法形成的框架10围绕,如图1所示。
然而,这种挤出或压铸方法是由于高加工成本而增加电池模块单价的主要原因,并且由于电池模块的膨胀被强制抑制,单体的寿命可能受到负面影响。
替代地,韩国专利申请公开No.2014-0118734公开了一种电池模块,其包括壳体,该壳体具有侧板、底板以及在侧板和底板之间的弯曲部分,并且该弯曲部分形成为使得侧板和底板在朝向电池单体的方向上被偏压。
韩国专利申请公开No.2015-0142790公开了一种电池模块,其中与相关技术的端板不同,其还包括上带,以防止由膨胀现象引起的电池模块的外形的变化。
尽管已经提出了如上所述的技术,但是相关技术的电池模块的重量减轻仍受到限制,并且由于没有用于稳定地支撑电池模块并降低材料或过程成本同时充分允许由膨胀引起的端板膨胀的技术手段,所以需要采取措施。
发明内容
技术问题
本公开通过考虑如上所述的问题而设计,并且因此本公开旨在提供一种电池模块,该电池模块具有允许通过使用由诸如金属片的材料制成的板形成框架而减轻重量的结构,并提供用于该电池模块的框架组件。
本公开的另一个目的是提供一种电池模块及其框架组件,所述电池模块具有能够通过焊接过程形成框架的结构。
技术方案
本公开是通过考虑上述问题而设计的,并且因此本公开提供了一种电池模块,其包括:至少一个单体;以及框架组件,其包括被构造成支撑单体的下端表面的下板、从下板的四个角部垂直延伸并邻近于单体的最外侧放置的带形侧板、以及被联接到侧板的上端并被构造成覆盖单体的上部的上板。
优选地,侧板的端部被弯曲并焊接到上板的上表面。
框架组件还可以包括一对端板,该一对端板被联接到下板和上板的两个纵向端并且被联接到侧板以支撑单体的两端。
侧板可以与下板成一体地从下板弯曲。
在本公开的另一方面中,提供了一种电池模块的框架组件,用于从电池模块的外部支撑至少一个单体,该框架组件包括:下板,其被构造成支撑单体的下端表面;带形侧板,其从下板的四个角部垂直延伸并邻近于单体的最外侧放置;以及上板,其被联接到侧板的上端并被构造成覆盖单体的上部。
有益效果
根据本公开,框架组件由诸如金属片的板材料制成,并且侧板具有带形状。因此,能够减少模块重量,并且由于可以通过焊接过程进行组装,所以可以降低过程成本。
另外,即使当电池模块由于单体过度充电而膨胀时,单体也可以在保证侧板充分膨胀的同时被稳定地支撑,并且因此单体的寿命不会受到框架的负面影响。

具体实施方式
图2是示出根据本公开的优选实施例的电池模块的构造的分解透视图。
参见图2,根据本公开的优选实施例,电池模块包括:多个单体100;以及框架组件110,其布置成围绕多个单体100,并且包括下板111、带形侧板113和上板114。
每一个单体100具有薄板状主体,并且优选地包括袋型二次单体。多个单体100在一个方向上布置,以基本上形成堆叠结构。
框架组件110是用于以多个单体为单位容纳、支撑和保护单体100的结构,并且框架组件110包括放置在单体100下方的下板111、邻近于单体100的最外侧的侧板113和放置在单体100上方的上板114。框架组件110的板111、113和114中的每一个由金属片(或金属板)形成,例如由具有约若干毫米的薄厚度的铝板形成。
下板111具有能够共同支撑多个单体100的下端表面的基底表面。
侧板113具有由相对窄且长的金属片形成的带形形状,并且在单体100的最外侧附近从下板111的四个角部垂直向上延伸。也就是说,提供了与下板111的四个角部相对应的四个侧板113,并且侧板113之间的间隙被设定成使得可以容纳多个单体100。
优选地,侧板113以与下板111成一体的方式从下板111的长侧边的端部弯曲。另外,优选地,通过在朝向框架组件110的内部的方向上垂直地弯曲侧板113的纵向端部而形成联接部分113a,用于与上板114紧密联接。
上板114联接到侧板113的上端,以共同覆盖多个单体100的上部。优选地,上板114焊接到设置在侧板113的端部上的相应的联接部分113a。因此,在侧板113与上板114相接的四个点处形成焊接区(参见图3中的W)。这里,可以使用诸如激光焊接法、超声波焊接法或点焊法的焊接方法。
图3示出了其中通过焊接来组装侧板113的上端和上板114的状态。如图3所示,在多个单体100布置在框架组件110中的状态下,通过将侧板113的联接部分113a焊接到上板114的上表面的四个角部,来制造包括以多个单体100为单位设置的框架组件110的电池模块。
一对端板112布置在框架组件110的两个纵向端上。所述一对端板112联接到下板111和上板114的两个纵向端并且被联接到侧板113,以支撑单体100的两端。在每个端板112中形成狭缝112a,以使从单体100延伸的电极引线101穿过狭缝112a。
在根据本公开的优选实施例的具有上述构造的电池模块中,框架组件110以多个单体100为单位组装。
框架组件110可以是轻质的,因为由诸如铝板的金属片(或金属板)形成的下板111、具有带形状的侧板113和上板114被有机地彼此联接。
当制造框架组件110时,下板111和侧板113通过弯曲过程形成为一体,并且侧板113和上板114通过焊接彼此联接。在上板114的上表面与位于侧板113的端部上的联接部分113a重叠并且上板114的两个纵向端的下表面被放置在端板112的上端的状态下,通过诸如激光或超声波焊接过程的焊接过程将上板114联接到侧板113。
工业实用性
与通过传统的挤出或压铸方法制造的现有技术的框架相比,根据本公开制造的框架组件可以具有更低的重量,并且产生更低的组装过程成本。

Claims (8)

1.一种电池模块,包括:
至少一个单体;和
框架组件,所述框架组件包括下板、带形侧板和上板,所述下板被构造成支撑所述单体的下端表面,所述侧板从所述下板的四个角部垂直延伸并邻近于所述单体的最外侧放置,所述上板被联接到所述侧板的上端并被构造成覆盖所述单体的上部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,其中,所述侧板的端部被弯曲并且焊接到所述上板的上表面。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,还包括一对端板,所述一对端板被联接到所述下板和所述上板的两个纵向端并且被联接到所述侧板,以支撑所述单体的两端。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电池模块,其中,所述侧板被与所述下板成一体地从所述下板弯曲。
5.一种电池模块的框架组件,用于从所述电池模块的外部支撑至少一个单体,所述框架组件包括:
下板,所述下板被构造成支撑所述单体的下端表面;
带形侧板,所述侧板从所述下板的四个角部垂直地延伸,并且邻近于所述单体的最外侧放置;和
上板,所述上板被联接到所述侧板的上端,并且被构造成覆盖所述单体的上部。
6.根据权利要求5所述的框架组件,其中,所述侧板的端部被弯曲并且焊接到所述上板的上表面。
7.根据权利要求5所述的框架组件,还包括一对端板,所述一对端板被联接到所述下板和所述上板的两个纵向端并且被联接到所述侧板,以支撑所述单体的两端。
8.根据权利要求5所述的框架组件,其中,所述侧板被与所述下板成一体地从所述下板弯曲。
