Description

用于层压物的多个层片的感应密封的设备及方法
技术领域
本发明涉及用于层压物的多个层片的感应密封的设备和方法。
背景技术
层压物通常被用作用于液态食品的包装盒的包装材料,层压物包括由不导电的材料(尤其是纸或纸板)制成的载体层以及由热塑性材料(尤其是诸如聚乙烯或聚丙烯的热塑性塑料)制成的密封层。热塑性材料是液密的并且耐脂肪物质和酸。金属层(尤其是铝层)被设置在密封层和载体层之间。热塑性材料能够通过将多个层压物层片的相互面对的密封层彼此压靠并且通过施加热而熔接在一起来热密封。通过在用于将层压物的层片压合的密封夹中安装至少一个线圈(感应器),通过感应密封来产生热,所述线圈在金属层中感应出涡电流并且将其加热。由于热传导,该热从被加热的金属层传递到相邻的热塑性材料层上,热塑性材料层在热的作用下达到熔融状态。
从CH676958A5已知一种用于包装材料的热密封的设备,包装材料除了热塑性层之外还具有金属层。该设备包括两个可压缩的密封夹,其中这两个密封夹皆装配有感应器,该感应器被用于借助感应来加热金属层,以便在将密封夹挤压在一起时将包装材料的两个相邻的层片的热塑性层熔接。感应器包括至少一个在密封夹的纵向方向上延伸的细长电流导体,其被直接嵌入在密封夹的不导电的块体中或者嵌入在由铁氧体制成的中间件中,其中该中间件被安装在由不导电材料制成的块体中。
当在灌装机中密封用于液体食品的山墙包装盒时,需要较短的加热时间。这是因为山墙部的几何形状中存在很高张力,这就使得山墙部在挤压时间结束之后有重新打开的倾向,因此使用长的压制和冷却阶段。这种倾向能够通过对熔融的热塑性材料进行时间足够长的冷却来克服。所需的较短加热时间通过每单位时间向感应器输入高能量来实现。然而,其结果是损耗增加,这会导致感应器的难以承受的发热,并且可能导致层压物的局部过热。
尽管感应器遵循要被密封的山墙包装盒的区域的几何形状,但实践表明,在一些情形中,仍会发生对密封层的非均匀加热,结果导致对山墙包装盒的密封不甚理想。
发明内容
从该现有技术出发,本发明的目的是提供一种用于层压物的多个层片的感应密封的设备,鉴于所需的较短加热时间以及相关联的每单位时间高能量输入,该设备避免对层压物的密封层的非均匀加热并因此避免不理想的密封。
此外,还提供一种用于感应密封的方法,该方法特别适用于整合到具有无菌工作区域的用于液体食品的灌装系统中。
在最初提及的类型的设备中达成该目的,其中块体由金属材料构成,集中器包括多个部件,其中,每个部件由适于磁场集中的材料构成,并且所有的部件彼此之间电绝缘并且相对于块体电绝缘。
根据权利要求15的特征,获得一种用于感应密封的方法,该方法特别适用于整合到具有无菌工作区域的用于液体食品的灌装设备中。
由金属材料制成的块体有助于能够更有效地去除由感应器中的功率损耗产生的热以及通过与要被熔接的层压物接触而引入到密封夹中的热。由金属材料制成的块体由于其高导热性而防止感应器的任何无法承受的发热。
实践中观察到,在一定的温度和湿度条件下以及在具有高磁导率的集中器的情形中,能够在感应器的下股与上股之间发生电闪络。这类闪络是造成对密封层的非均匀加热和不理想密封的原因。
为避免对密封层的非均匀加热,集中器由彼此之间都电绝缘并且相对于块体电绝缘的多个部件构成。通过集中器的划分,避免了感应器的线股之间的电闪络。尽管快速加热需要高能量输入,但感应器的任何部分都不会暂时失效。
为使部件彼此绝缘,特别地在集中器的部件之间设置间隙。优选地,为进一步改进电绝缘,尤其是以膜形式将聚酰亚胺作为绝缘材料引入到每个间隙中。由于其较高的耐热性和良好的电绝缘性,聚酰亚胺特别适用于本申请。
通常,感应器具有在安装位置中水平延伸的上股以及在安装位置中水平延伸的下股,其中,上股和下股借助于侧向弯曲部彼此连接。上股和下股在每一情形中被嵌入到集中器的至少一个部件中。部件通过间隙在水平方向上分开。感应器的电连接部优选地位于上股中。在该情形中,上股优选地嵌入到集中器的至少两个部件中,所述至少两个部件通过在两个连接部之间垂直延伸的间隙而彼此电绝缘。指向密封间隙的方向的每个感应器的表面优选地适应于要被熔接的密封层的区域的几何形状。
集中器的部件由适于磁场集中的材料构成。这包括具有铁磁特性和介电特性两者的磁介电材料(MDM)。这些材料特别地由均匀嵌入在热塑性材料中的软铁颗粒构成。MDM的特性能够具体受塑料中软铁颗粒的级分、形状和分布的影响。
在山墙包装盒的密封的情形中,不同数量的层压物的层片位于在不同位置处的密封间隙中。这就要求根据要被密封的层片的数量来控制能量分布的措施:
-能够通过每个感应器的在感应器的纵向延伸上的可变横截面来具体控制能量分布。
-控制能量分布的另一种可能性在于,改变感应器距要被密封的层压物的距离。
-另外,具体影响能量分布的可能性在于:集中器中的部件中的至少一个部件具有磁导率不同的区段和/或集中器的至少一个部件具有与其他部件不同的磁导率。具有较高磁导率的部件或区段特别地位于必须密封较大数量的层压物的层片的感应器的区域中。
在密封间隙的一侧上,感应器优选地通过覆盖物保护而免受机械损害。考虑由耐磨而易透感应的材料制成的覆盖物,例如,聚醚醚酮(PEEK),这是一种属于高性能塑料组并且具有良好的机械和电气性能以及耐高温性和卓越耐化学性特征的耐高温热塑性材料。此外,陶瓷或类陶瓷材料能够被用作覆盖物。覆盖物优选地被紧密粘合到密封夹,以便确保有效地保护免受诸如湿气、化学品的环境影响。
板状覆盖物能够在一些区域中具有不同的厚度。板状覆盖物在密封较大数量的层压物的层片的区域中具有较小的厚度,并且在密封较小数量的层压物的层片的区域中具有较大的厚度。
通过这种方式构造的覆盖物的作用在于,在覆盖物的较薄区域中,负责加热的层压物中的金属层与位于其后的感应器的线股相距较短的距离。因此,能量分布能够通过支配覆盖物的厚度来具体控制。
位于集中器与块体之间的是绝缘体,该绝缘体使集中器的所有部件与金属块体电绝缘,并且同时是良好的导热体。绝缘体具有优选100W/mK的高导热率以及至少1012Ωmm2/m的高电阻率。特别地,考虑具有200W/mK的导热率的陶瓷材料氮化铝(AlN)作为绝缘体。
另外,考虑基于碳化硅(SiC)或由导热塑料制成的绝缘体。导热塑料的导热性是通过将金属粉末或纤维引入道聚合物基质中来实现的。尤其是板状的绝缘体以此方式设置在集中器和块体之间,使得集中器在任何一点都不碰触块体。
在本发明的一个实施例中,感应器包括空心导体,空心导体适于使冷却介质穿过。空心导体特别地是冷却系统的一部分。优选地,考虑将水作为冷却介质。用于供应和移除冷却介质的连接部位于感应器的两端处,感应器还在所述两端处连接到高频电压源。
如果在无菌灌装机中使用该用于感应密封的设备,则在感应器的连接部处泄漏的冷却水能够进入灌装机的无菌工作区域中。这样的漏水很不可取,能够导致操作中断。在本发明的一个实施例中,仅间接地冷却感应器。至少一个冷却通道优选地设置在每个密封夹中,使得冷却介质平行于股流过块体。
在本发明的一个实施例中,用于感应密封的设备被构造成使得能够使用第一和第二密封夹来进行感应密封以及冷却和后压。为此,每个密封夹具有在密封夹的纵向方向上偏置的第一区段和第二区段,其中感应器仅设置在每个密封夹的第一区段中,并且后压与冷却区域位于第一和第二密封夹的相对的第二区段之间。在两个密封夹之间的密封间隙中,密封区域和后压与冷却区域彼此相邻。
在本发明的该实施例中的感应器被间接冷却的范畴内,冷却通道延伸穿过每个密封夹的第一和第二区段,使得冷却介质能够流过第一和第二区段。一个重要优势在于,仅需一个冷却回路就能冷却密封区域以及后压与冷却区域。这就带来进一步的优势,即冷却通道的连接部能够仅位于密封夹的第二区段中。然而,设备的密封夹的第二区段能够被设置在灌装机的无菌工作区域的外部。因此,能够避免因在感应器的连接部处泄漏冷却水而污染灌装机的无菌工作区域。

具体实施方式
图1示出用于山墙包装盒(6)的层压物(2)的多个层片的感应密封的设备(1),其包括:第一密封夹(3a)和第二密封夹(3b);密封间隙(4),密封间隙(4)设置于第一和第二密封夹(3a、3b)之间以用于容纳层压物(2)的多个层片;以及未示出的驱动器,驱动器用于产生密封夹(3a、3b)的相对于彼此的相对移动并且用于在密封间隙(4)中的层压物(2)的层片上施加挤压力。

图2a和图2b示意了集中器(8)的结构。在所示出的示例性实施例中,集中器由总共四个部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)构成。图2b示出了分离的部件(8a、8b、8c、8d),而图2a示出了组合以形成集中器(8)的部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)。

为进行间接冷却,带有进流管(18a)和回流管(18b)的冷却通道(18)位于每个密封夹(3a、3b)的块体(7)中。进流管和回流管从连接部(18c)在密封夹(3a、3b)的纵向方向(14)上延伸。连接部(18c)在第二区段(13b)中位于密封夹(3a、3b)的前侧上。
在根据图5和图6的带有内部冷却的感应器(10)的示例性实施例中,冷却通道(18)仅位于第二区段(13b)中。用于冷却介质的连接部(18c)也在第二区段(13b)中位于密封夹(3a、3b)的前侧上。然而,原则上,在具有内部冷却的感应器(10)的设备的一个实施例中,也能够在第一区段(13a)中设置另外的冷却通道,以便提高冷却能力。
上述用于山墙包装盒(6)的层压物(2)的多个层片的感应密封的设备(1)如下操作:
借助以时钟控制方式工作的输送器(未示出)将要被密封的山墙包装盒(6)的层压物(2)的层片输送到两个密封夹(3a、3b)的第一区段(13a)之间的打开的密封间隙(4)中。然后,借助于未示出的驱动器,密封夹(3a、3b)朝向彼此相对移动并且层压物(2)的多个层片的相邻的热塑性层被挤压并且通过在层压物(2)的金属层中感应涡电流而彼此密封。
然后再次打开密封间隙(4),并且沿纵向方向(14)在密封夹(3a、3b)的第二区段(13b)之间输送经密封的山墙包装盒(6)。一旦层压物(2)的经密封的层片位于后压与冷却区域(15)中,便通过移动密封夹(3a)而在密封间隙(4)中的已经密封的层压物的层片上施加挤压力。同时,使经密封的层压物(2)的层片冷却。然后打开密封间隙(4),并且沿纵向方向(14)将山墙包装盒(6)输送到密封间隙外。在第二区段(13b)中进行后压和冷却期间,由输送器输送到打开的密封间隙(4)中的下一个山墙包装盒(6)已经在第一区段(13a)中被密封。
在具有无菌工作区域的用于液体食品的灌装车间中,密封夹(3a、3b)穿过无菌工作区域平行于山墙包装盒(6)的输送方向设置。在该情形中,第一区段(13a)位于无菌工作区域之中,而第二区段(13b)位于该工作区域之外。在第二区段(13b)的前侧上的用于冷却介质的连接部(18c)防止任何泄漏的冷却介质能够进入无菌工作区域。
在本发明的另一实施例中,密封夹(3a、3b)以及感应器(10)的下股和上股(10a、10c)的长度被定尺寸以使得在连接部(10b)的两侧上,在每一种情形中均能够同时地密封山墙包装盒(6)的密封区域。
第二区段中的后压与冷却区域(15)的长度也被定尺寸以使得两个山墙包装盒(6)的密封区域能够被同时地后压和冷却。

Claims (16)

1.一种用于层压物(2)的多个层片的感应密封的设备(1),所述层压物包括由不导电材料制成的载体层、由热塑性材料制成的密封层以及设置在所述密封层和所述载体层之间的金属层,所述设备包括:
-第一密封夹(3a)和第二密封夹(3b),其中,所述密封夹(3a、3b)被设置成能够相对于彼此移动,
-密封间隙(4),所述密封间隙被设置在所述第一密封夹和所述第二密封夹(3a、3b)之间,以用于容纳所述层压物(2)的多个层片,
-驱动器,所述驱动器适于产生所述密封夹(3a、3b)相对于彼此的相对移动,并且适于在所述密封间隙(4)中的所述层压物(2)的层片上施加挤压力,
-其中,每个密封夹(3a、3b)均包括块体(7)和紧固到所述块体(7)的集中器(8),所述集中器包含沟槽(9),所述沟槽具有指向所述密封间隙(4)的方向的槽口(9a),
-被嵌入到所述沟槽(9)中的感应器(10),所述感应器适于加热所述层压物(2)中的金属层,以便通过将所述密封夹(3a、3b)压合在一起而使所述层压物(2)的多个层片中的相邻的热塑性层熔接在一起,
其特征在于,
-所述块体(7)由金属材料构成,
-所述集中器(8)由多个部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)构成,其中,每个部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)由适于磁场集中的材料构成,并且
-所有的所述部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)彼此电绝缘并且相对于金属块体(7)电绝缘。
2.根据权利要求1所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,
-所述感应器(10)具有上股(10a)和下股(10c),其中,所述上股和所述下股(10a、10c)借助于侧向弯曲部(10d)彼此连接,
-所述上股(10a)被嵌入到所述集中器(8)的至少一个第一部件(8c、8d)的沟槽(9)中,并且
-所述下股(10c)被嵌入到所述集中器(8)的至少第二部件(8a、8b)的沟槽(9)中。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,所述集中器(8)的所述部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)通过至少一个间隙(11a、11b)而彼此电绝缘。
4.根据权利要求3所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,聚酰亚胺作为绝缘材料被设置在每个间隙(11a、11b)中。
5.根据权利要求1至4中的任一项所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,所述集中器(8)的至少两个部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)具有不同的磁导率。
6.根据权利要求1至5中的任一项所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,所述集中器(8)的所述部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)中的至少一个部件具有磁导率不同的区段。
7.根据权利要求1至6中的任一项所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,覆盖物(16)被设置在每个密封夹(3a、3b)的指向所述密封间隙(4)的方向的一侧上。
8.根据权利要求1至7中的任一项所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,绝缘体(17)使所述集中器(8)的所有的所述部件(8a、8b、8c、8d)相对于金属块体(7)绝缘,所述绝缘体具有至少20W/mK、优选100W/mK的高导热率以及至少1012Ωmm2/m的高电阻率。
9.根据权利要求8所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,所述绝缘体(17)由陶瓷材料氮化铝(AIN)构成。
10.根据权利要求1至9中的任一项所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,所述感应器(10)包括适于使冷却介质穿过的空心导体。
11.根据权利要求1至10中的任一项所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,至少一个冷却通道(18)被设置在每个密封夹(3a、3b)的块体(7)中。
12.根据权利要求1至11中的任一项所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,
-每个密封夹(3a、3b)具有在每个密封夹(3a、3b)的纵向方向(14)上偏置的第一区段(13a)和第二区段(13b),
-所述感应器(10)仅被设置在每个密封夹(3a、3b)的所述第一区段(13a)中,并且
-后压与冷却区域(15)位于所述第一密封夹和所述第二密封夹(3a、3b)的相对的第二区段(13b)之间。
13.根据权利要求12和11所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,所述冷却通道(18)延伸穿过每个密封夹(3a、3b)的所述第一区段和所述第二区段(13a、13b),使得冷却介质能够流过所述第一区段和所述第二区段(13a、13b)两者。
14.根据权利要求12或13所述的用于感应密封的设备(1),其特征在于,用于冷却介质的所述冷却通道(18)的连接部(18c)被设置在所述第二区段(13b)上。
15.一种使用根据权利要求12至14中的任一项所述的设备对包装盒的层压物的多个层片进行感应密封的方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:
-将要被密封的所述层压物(2)的层片输送到在所述密封夹(3a、3b)的相对的第一区段(13a)之间的打开的密封间隙(4)中,
-在所述密封夹(3a、3b)的所述第一区段(13a)之间的所述密封间隙(4)中密封所述层压物(2)的层片,
-打开所述密封间隙(4),
-将打开的密封间隙(4)中的所述层压物(2)的密封的层片输送到在所述密封夹(3a、3b)的纵向方向(14)上偏置的所述密封夹(3a、3b)的所述第二区段(13b),
-将挤压力施加到在所述密封间隙(4)的后压与冷却区域(15)中的所述层压物(2)的密封的层片上并且冷却所述层压物(2),
-打开所述密封间隙(4)并且从所述密封间隙(4)将所述层压物(2)的冷却的层片输送出来。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于,在用于液体食品的灌装机的无菌工作区域中完成密封,并且在所述无菌工作区域外侧在所述后压与冷却区域(15)中完成对所述层压物施加挤压力和冷却。
