显示装置
技术领域
本公开的实施方式涉及显示装置,并且更具体地,涉及具有显示面板和导光板的显示装置。
背景技术
为了用作平板显示装置,已经开发了液晶显示装置、等离子体显示装置、场发射显示装置、有机发光显示装置等。然而,液晶显示装置和有机发光显示装置近年来由于批量制造技术、易于驱动和图像质量高的优点而成为焦点。
图1是例示了一般液晶显示装置的结构的分解立体图。
如图1中例示的,一般液晶显示装置包括:液晶面板10,在该液晶面板10中像素按照矩阵形式布置,以便输出图像;驱动器15和16,该驱动器15和16用于驱动像素;背光单元,该背光单元设置在液晶面板10的后表面上,以在液晶面板10的整个表面上方发射光;以及面板导向件45,该面板导向件45固定地接纳液晶面板10和背光单元。
液晶面板10包括接合在一起以保持一致单元间隙的滤色器基板和阵列基板以及形成在滤色器基板和阵列基板之间的单元间隙中的液晶层。
在液晶面板10上形成公共电极和像素电极,在液晶面板100中,滤色器阵列基板和阵列基板彼此接合以向液晶层施加电场。当在向公共电极施加电压的状态下向像素电极施加数据信号的电压时,液晶层的液晶由于根据公共电极和像素电极之间的电场的介电各向异性而旋转,使得光透过每个像素或者被每个像素阻挡,以显示字符或图像。
另外,为了控制施加到用于每个像素的像素电极的数据信号的电压,在每个像素中单独地设置诸如薄膜晶体管(TFT)这样的开关元件。
将上偏振板和下偏振板(未示出)附接于液晶面板10的外部,其中,下偏振板使穿过背光单元的光偏振并且上偏振板使穿过液晶面板10的光偏振。
在更详细地描述背光单元时,在导光板42的一侧上设置用于发射光的发光二极管(LED)组件30,并且在导光板42的后表面上设置反射器41。在这种情况下,LED组件30包括与驱动LED阵列31的LED印刷电路板(PCB)(未示出)附接的LED阵列31和LED壳体32。从LED阵列31发射的光入射到由透明材料制成的透明导光板42的侧表面上,并且设置在导光板42的后表面上的反射器41将透过导光板42的背面的光朝向导光板42的上表面上的光学片43引导,以减少光损失并且提高均匀性。
在如上所述配置的背光单元的上侧上,通过面板导向件45安置由滤色器基板和阵列基板构成的液晶面板10。液晶面板10和面板导向件45通过盖底50和顶壳60与背光单元联接,以形成液晶显示装置。
然而,所描述的相关技术的显示装置的问题在于,当导光板热膨胀时,导光板会经受造成刮伤或扭曲的变形,或者经受造成导光板中的裂纹的破裂。因此,在显示装置中会造成有缺陷的图像。
另外,现有技术的显示装置的问题在于,由于其中盖底与液晶面板和导光板内置于其中的顶壳通过单独的紧固构件彼此联接的组件结构,导致材料成本和制造步骤数目增加。
因此,越来越需要开发出能够在防止导光板经受造成刮伤或扭曲的变形或者经受当导光板由于在操作显示装置期间产生的热而热膨胀时造成裂缝的破裂的同时减少显示装置的材料成本和制造步骤数目的显示装置。
发明内容
因此,本公开的实施方式涉及基本上消除了由于相关技术的限制和不足而导致的一个或更多个问题的显示装置。
本发明的一个目的是提供能够防止造成刮擦或扭曲的变形或者当导光板热膨胀时在导光板中造成裂缝的破裂由此防止显示装置中有缺陷图像的显示装置。
本发明的另一个目的是提供其中支承导光板的支承构件具有能够与显示装置中的盖底、顶壳等联接的结构使得能够减少材料成本和制造处理数目并且能够简化显示装置的组装的显示装置。
另外的特征和方面将在随后的描述中阐明,并且部分地将根据描述而清楚,或者可以通过本文中提供的发明构思的实践而获知。可以通过书面说明书或其可推导形式及其权利要求以及附图中特别指出的结构来实现和获得本发明构思的其它特征和方面。
为了实现本发明构思的这些和其它方面,如实施和广泛描述的,一种显示装置包括:显示面板;导光板,该导光板被配置成向所述显示面板的后侧提供光;盖底,该盖底包括被配置成覆盖导光板的后表面的后部和从所述后部的端部朝着所述显示面板弯曲的侧部;以及支承件,该支承件与所述盖底联接并且被配置成定位所述导光板并容纳所述导光板的纵向膨胀,所述支承件被设置在与所述导光板的纵向端部相邻的位置处。

另外,当描述本发明的组件时,可以在本文中使用诸如第一、第二、A、B、(a)、(b)等这样的术语。这些术语中的每个不用于限定对应组件的本质、次序或顺序,而是仅仅用于将对应组件与其它组件区分开。在描述了某个结构元件“连接到”、“联接到”或“接触”另一个结构元件的情况下,应该理解,另一个结构元件可以“连接到”、“联接到”或“接触”结构元件以及某个结构元件直接连接到或直接接触另一个结构元件。
图2和图3是例示了根据本文中公开的示例实施方式的显示装置的截面图,图4、图5和图6是例示了根据示例实施方式的显示装置中的支承构件的立体图,并且图7是根据本文中公开的示例实施方式的显示装置的截面图。
如在这些图中例示的,显示装置可以包括:导光板201,该导光板201设置在显示面板200的后侧上;盖底205,该盖底205包括后部205b和侧部205a,后部205b被配置成支承导光板201的后表面,侧部205a在后侧部205b的端部处朝着显示面板弯曲;以及支承构件210,该支承构件210被配置成支承导光板201在纵向方向上与导光板205的端部分隔开并且与导光板201联接的位置处的纵向膨胀。
首先,参照图2,在根据示例性实施方式的显示装置中,显示面板200、光学片201a等设置在导光板201的前侧,反射器201b和盖底205等设置在导光板201的后侧。另外,因为被配置成支承导光板201的纵向膨胀的支承构件210与盖底205在导光板201的端部侧处联接,能够防止导光板201经受造成刮擦或扭曲的变形或者经受在导光板201的热膨胀期间造成裂缝的破裂。结果,能够防止有缺陷的图像。
这里,将参照其中显示面板是液晶显示面板的情况来描述示例实施方式。如果显示面板是液晶显示面板,则显示面板可以包括被配置成将背光单元、驱动电路单元、液晶显示面板、背光单元等组装成一个模块的盒构件,并且驱动电路单元可以包括诸如数据驱动电路(源驱动电路)、选通驱动电路(扫描驱动电路)、定时控制器和印刷电路板这样的控制单元。另外,在液晶显示面板中,液晶层可以存在于上基板和下基板之间,其中,上基板可以是与观察屏单元对应的滤色器基板,并且下基板可以是薄膜晶体管基板。
另外,在形成为矩形形状的显示面板的任一个端部上,上面安装有IC的多个柔性电路膜与显示面板电连接,并且印刷电路板被安装成与显示面板平行。另外,多个柔性电路膜通过带式自动焊接(TAB)处理附接于焊盘部和印刷电路板,并且可以由带载封装(TCP)或柔性板上芯片或膜上芯片(COF)形成。
因此,显示面板可以通过多个柔性电路膜与源印刷电路板电接合或连接,并且被盖底覆盖和保护的源印刷电路板与多个柔性电路膜电连接,以向定时控制器提供用于在显示面板上显示图像的各种信号。
在液晶显示面板中,背光单元可以包括LED、LED印刷电路板、导光板201、反射器201b、光学片201a等,以向显示面板供应光,并且可以根据LED的安装位置而被实现为直接型或边缘型。在示例实施方式中,导光板201设置在显示面板200的后侧并且盖底205设置在导光板201的背面。盖底205被设置有朝向显示面板200弯曲的侧部205a以及被配置成支承导光板201的后表面以使得导光板201被安置在盖底205上的后部205b。
另外,支承构件210可以被联接至盖底205,并且支承构件210在沿着纵向方向与导光板201的端部分隔的位置处支承导光板201的纵向膨胀。导光板201可以由作为透光材料的诸如甲基丙烯酸甲酯苯乙烯(MS)这样的聚合物树脂制成,使得光能够从中透过。因此,支承构件210的内表面和导光板201的端部被设置成彼此间隔开,以防止由热膨胀造成的弯曲、变形、断裂等。
这里,支承构件210可以由诸如橡胶、硅树脂或聚氨酯这样的弹性材料制成,以吸收导光板201的纵向膨胀量,并且通过粘合构件211或粘合剂与盖底205的侧部205a接合,使得支承构件210能够在由于导光板201的热膨胀而与导光板201接触时在没有被推动或释放的情况下在原位弹性地变形。这里,作为接合构件211,可以使用在每侧上设置有粘合层的泡沫垫、聚氨酯或橡胶、双面胶等。
在实施方式中,还可以包括面板支承构件213以支承显示面板200。面板支承构件213可以包括安置部213a和外部213b,显示面板200的后表面被安置并支承于安置部213a上,外部213b与安置部213a垂直地连接并且位于盖底205的侧部205a的外部。当设置面板支承构件213时,面板支承构件213能够支承显示面板200以及盖底205的外侧,使得能够保持整个显示装置的联接和刚性。
这里,面板支承构件213可以由塑料材料或金属材料形成。然而,在考虑到除了预定强度水平之外的显示装置外观的情况下,面板支承构件213可以由铝、铝合金、不锈钢、镀锌钢板等形成。
此外,显示面板200可以与面板支承构件213的安置部213a用插入在它们之间的粘合构件202或粘合剂联接。这里,可以使用在其对向面、双面带等中的每个上设置有粘合层的泡沫垫、聚氨酯或橡胶作为接合构件202,
另外,插入部213c可以按照凹进的方式设置在外部213b和安置部213a之间,使得盖底205的侧部205a按照在原处联接的方式插入到插入部213中,并且侧部205a的端部经由粘合构件217被支承和联接。
另外,可以在显示面板200的端部和面板支承构件213的外部213b的前表面之间设置阻尼构件204,以吸收冲击。如果设置了阻尼构件204,则即使从外部施加了冲击,也能够防止显示面板200的端部破裂以及从外部渗透湿气和异物。这里,阻尼构件204可以包括在表面上包括粘合层并且与显示面板200和盖底205的外部213b附接的泡沫垫、聚氨酯、橡胶等,或者可以被涂覆有弹性树脂等。
此外,如图3中例示的,支承构件210可以包括支承槽210a以及伸出端部210b和210c,导光板201的端部安置在支承槽210a中,伸出端部210b和210c朝着盖底205的后部205b伸出并且插入到盖底205的后部205b的紧固孔中,使得支承构件210能够可拆卸地联接到盖底205。也就是说,支承槽210a可以是通过切割支承构件210的侧表面的与导光板201的端部相对的部分而形成的,使得导光板201被安置并支承于与导光板201的端部分隔开的位置处,并且伸出端部210b和210c可以按照可拆卸地联接到盖底205的方式设置在支承构件210的底表面上。
如图2中例示的,支承构件210可以用粘合构件211联接到盖底205。然而,如图3中例示的,上面安装有导光板201的支承构件210可拆卸地联接到盖底205。通过可拆卸地联接到盖底205,在重新加工时,组装被简化并且拆卸也被简化,使得能够在组装成本和工序数目减少的同时增加重新加工时的便利性。
在盖底205的后部205b上,台阶部205c可以被设置成按照与导光板201平行并且与导光板201分隔开的方式形成台阶。台阶部205c设置有将与支承构件210的伸出端部210b和210c联接的紧固孔205d。通过以这种方式在盖底205的后部205b上设置台阶部205c,能够在通过支承构件210支承导光板201的同时确保与盖底205联接的空间,并且能够增大盖底205在台阶部205c中的刚性,使得能够在支承构件210的组装和拆卸时防止盖底205的后部205b变形。
伸出端部210b和210c设置有支承端部210b,支承端部210b按照大于联接孔205d的内径方式沿着径向方向伸出,以防止伸出端部在与联接孔205d联接之后与联接孔205d容易地分离。也就是说,从支承构件210的底表面伸出的伸出端部210b和210c包括支承端部210b和小直径部210c。因为具有减小直径的小直径部210c设置在支承构件210主体和支承端部210b之间,所以支承端部210b在与紧固孔205d联接时弹性地压缩变形的同时穿过紧固孔205d,使得支承构件210被支承于紧固孔205d的外部并且小直径部210c被插入到紧固孔205d中并由紧固孔205d支承。
另外,如图4至图6中例示的,支承端部210b可以具有圆柱形形状、椭圆柱形状或多边形柱形状,并且可以包括在其周向外表面上的倾斜的锥形表面210d,以使得在联接时容易地与紧固孔205d联接并且防止与紧固孔205d分离。中空部212可以作为空的空间形成在支承端部210b的内部。因为中空部212可以如图5和图6中例示地设置在支承端部210b的内部,所以支承端部210b比如图4中例示的没有设置中空部212的情况下更容易发生弹性地收缩变形,使得支承端部210b能够在联接到紧固孔205d时更容易地联接到紧固孔205d并且能够被防止与紧固孔205d分离。
此外,如图3和图7中例示的,顶壳220可以设置在盖底205的侧部205a的外部,并且可以按照支承显示面板200的方式设置面板导向件225。在这种情况下,顶壳220和盖底205可以通过如图3中例示的紧固构件227或者通过如图7中例示的支承构件210彼此联接。也就是说,如图3中例示的,可以在侧部205a的外部上设置具有第一固定孔221的顶壳220,在侧部205a中的与第一固定孔221对应的位置处设置第二固定孔206,并且紧固构件227可以与第一固定孔221和第二固定孔206联接。
在这种情况下,顶壳220沿着第一固定孔221和第二固定孔206彼此同轴地叠合的方向安置在侧部205a的外侧。然后,紧固构件227被操作者紧固和组装,使得顶壳220能够由于紧固构件227的紧固力而被牢固地联接。
此外,在图7中例示的示例实施方式中,具有第一固定孔221的顶壳220可以设置在侧部205a的外部,第二固定孔206可以在与第一固定孔221对应的位置处设置在侧部205a中,并且将被插入到第一固定孔221和第二固定孔206中的固定伸出物214可以设置在支承构件210的侧表面上,使得顶壳能够通过固定伸出物214联接。在这种情况下,在顶壳220正沿着与侧部205a的外表面平行的方向(例如,沿着图7中的垂直方向)滑动的同时,按照向外伸出的方式被插入到第二固定孔206中的固定伸出物214被插入到顶壳220的第一固定孔221中,使得能够在无需单独的紧固构件的情况下组装顶壳220。
另外,为了利于在垂直滑动地组装顶壳220时进行联接,在固定伸出物214的外表面上设置倾斜的锥形表面214a,使得能够利于在将顶壳220和盖底205彼此联接时联接并且能够防止分离。也就是说,固定伸出物214的锥形表面214a可以按照使得固定伸出物214的向外伸出量沿着顶壳220向下滑动的方向(例如,从图中的上侧向下侧)逐渐地增大的方式被形成为倾斜的,使得能够在将顶壳220和盖底205彼此联接时利于联接并且能够防止分离。
如上所述,根据本文公开的实施方式,在显示装置中,能够防止造成刮擦或扭曲的变形或者当导光板热膨胀时在导光板中造成裂缝的破裂,结果防止显示装置中有缺陷图像。
另外,根据实施方式,提供了一种显示装置,该显示装置设置有支承导光板的支承构件,该支承构件具有能够与盖底、顶壳等联接的结构,使得能够减少材料成本和制造工序数目,并且能够简化显示装置的组装。
即使以上描述了本发明的实施方式的所有组件被联接为单个单元或者被联接成作为单个单元进行操作,但是本发明不一定限于此实施方式。也就是说,可以在不脱离本发明的范围的情况下选择性地连接和操作所有结构元件中的至少两个元件。
另外,因为诸如“包括”、“包含”和“具有”这样的术语意指除非它们都被明确相反地描述,否则可以存在一个或更多个对应组件,所以应当理解可以包括一个或更多个其它组件。技术、科学或其它方面的所有术语均符合本领域技术人员所理解的含义,除非相反地定义。见于词典的常用术语应该在相关技术著作的上下文中解释得不太理想或不切实际,除非本发明明确地定义它们。
本领域的技术人员应该清楚,可以在不脱离本公开的精神思路或范围的情况下对本公开的显示装置进行各种修改和变型。因此,本公开旨在涵盖本公开的落入所附的权利要求及其等同物的范围内的修改和变型。

Claims (10)

1.一种显示装置,该显示装置包括:
显示面板;
导光板,该导光板被配置成向所述显示面板的后侧提供光;
盖底,该盖底包括被配置成覆盖所述导光板的后表面的后部和从所述后部的端部朝着所述显示面板弯曲的侧部;以及
支承件,该支承件与所述盖底联接并且被配置成定位所述导光板并容纳所述导光板的纵向膨胀,所述支承件被设置在与所述导光板的纵向端部相邻的位置处。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其中,所述支承件与所述盖底的侧部用插入在它们之间的粘合构件或粘合剂而联接。
3.根据权利要求2所述的显示装置,该显示装置还包括面板支承件,所述面板支承件包括安置部和外部,所述显示面板的后表面安置在所述安置部中并且被支承,所述外部与所述安置部连接并且被设置在所述侧部外面。
4.根据权利要求3所述的显示装置,该显示装置还包括阻尼构件,所述阻尼构件被设置在所述显示面板的端部和所述面板支承件的外部前表面之间,以吸收冲击。
5.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其中,所述支承件包括支承槽和伸出端部,所述导光板的端部安置在所述支承槽中,并且所述伸出端部朝着所述盖底的后表面伸出并插入到所述后部的紧固孔中。
6.根据权利要求5所述的显示装置,其中,所述后部包括台阶部,所述台阶部按照与所述导光板平行并且与所述导光板分隔开的方式形成台阶,并且所述紧固孔被设置在所述台阶部中。
7.根据权利要求6所述的显示装置,其中,所述伸出端部包括支承部,所述支承部按照大于所述紧固孔的内径并且被支承的方式径向地伸出。
8.根据权利要求7所述的显示装置,其中,所述支承部包括在其周向外表面上的倾斜的锥形表面,并且包括形成在所述支承端部内部作为空的空间的中空部。
9.根据权利要求8所述的显示装置,该显示装置还包括:
顶壳,该顶壳被设置在所述侧部的外部并且包括第一固定孔,其中,所述侧部包括在与所述第一固定孔对应的位置处的第二固定孔;以及
紧固构件,该紧固构件与所述第一固定孔和所述第二固定孔联接。
10.根据权利要求8所述的显示装置,该显示装置还包括:
顶壳,该顶壳被设置在所述侧部的外部并且包括第一固定孔,其中,所述侧部包括在与所述第一固定孔对应的位置处的第二固定孔;以及
固定伸出物,该固定伸出物按照被插入到所述第一固定孔和所述第二固定孔中的方式设置在所述支承件的侧表面上。
