Abstract

一種顯示裝置包括:一顯示面板;一導光板,被配置以向該顯示面板的一後側提供光線;一底蓋,包括一背部和一側部,該背部被配置以覆蓋該導光板的一後表面,該側部從該背部的一端部向該顯示面板彎曲;以及一支撐件,耦接到該底蓋,並被配置以定位該導光板以及容納該導光板的縱向膨脹,該支撐件設置在與該導光板之一縱向端部相鄰的位置上。

Description

顯示裝置
本發明是關於一種顯示裝置,尤其是關於一種具有顯示面板和導光板的顯示裝置。
為了作為平板顯示裝置使用,已經開發了液晶顯示裝置、電漿顯示裝置、場發射顯示裝置、有機發光顯示裝置等。然而,由於大量生產技術、易於驅動以及高畫質的優點,液晶顯示裝置和有機發光顯示裝置近年來一直備受關注。
圖1為說明一般液晶顯示裝置之結構的分解立體圖。
如圖1所示,一般的液晶顯示裝置包括:液晶面板10,其中複數個像素以矩陣形式排列以輸出影像;驅動元件15和16,用於驅動該等像素;背光單元,設置在液晶面板10的背表面上,以在液晶面板10的整個表面上發光;以及面板引導件45,其固定地接收液晶面板10以及背光單元。
液晶面板10包括結合在一起以保持均勻晶胞間隙的彩色濾光片基板以及陣列基板、以及形成在彩色濾光片基板與陣列基板之間的晶胞間隙中的液晶層。
共同電極以及像素電極形成在液晶面板10上,其中,彩色濾光片基板和陣列基板彼此結合以向液晶層施加電場。當資料訊號的電壓於電壓施加到共同電極的狀態下施加到像素電極時,根據在共電極與像素電極之間的電場,液晶層的液晶由於介電異方性而旋轉,使得光線透過每個像素傳送或被每個像素阻擋以顯示字符或影像。
另外,為了控制施加到每個像素之像素電極的資料訊號的電壓,在每個像素中分別設置諸如薄膜電晶體(TFT)的開關元件。
上偏振片和下偏振片(圖中未示)附接到液晶面板10的外部,其中,下偏振片偏極化穿過背光單元的光線,而上偏振片偏極化穿過液晶面板10的光線。
在更詳細地描述背光單元中,在導光板42的一側上設置有用於發光的發光二極體(LED)組件30,並且在導光板42的後表面上設置有反射片41。在這種情況下,LED組件30包括LED陣列31以及LED外殼32,其中,驅動LED陣列31的LED印刷電路板(PCB)(圖中未示)被附接到LED外殼32。從LED陣列31射出的光線入射到由透明材料構成的透明導光板42的側表面上,並且設置在導光板42的背表面上的反射片41引導透過導光板42之背表面所傳送的光線朝向導光板42之上表面上的光學片43,以減少光損失並提高均勻性。
由彩色濾光片基板和陣列基板構成的液晶面板10經由面板引導件45被安置在如上所述配置的背光單元的上側上。液晶面板10和面板引導件45藉由底蓋50和頂部殼體60耦合到背光單元,以形成液晶顯示裝置。
然而,所描述之相關技術的顯示裝置具有以下問題:當導光板熱膨脹時,導光板可能遭受到引起刮擦或扭曲的變形,或遭受到引起導光板的裂痕的破裂。因此,在顯示裝置中可能導致有缺陷的影像。
此外,相關技術的顯示裝置具有下列問題:由於透過單獨的緊固件將其中建立有液晶面板和導光板的底蓋和頂部殼體彼此耦接的組裝結構,增加了材料成本與製程步驟數量。
因此,越來越需要開發一種顯示裝置,該顯示裝置能夠降低材料成本和顯示裝置的製程步驟數量,同時當導光板由於在顯示裝置的操作期間所產生的熱被熱膨脹時,防止導光板遭受到引起刮擦或扭曲的變形,或者遭受到引起裂痕的破裂。
因此,本發明的實施例涉及一種顯示裝置,該顯示裝置基本上消除了由於相關技術的限制和缺點所導致的一個或複數個問題。
本發明的目的在於提供一種顯示裝置,該顯示裝置能夠防止當導光板被熱膨脹時引起刮擦或扭曲的變形,或者引起導光板的裂痕的破裂,從而在顯示裝置中防止缺陷影像。
本發明的另一目的在於提供一種顯示裝置,其中,支撐該導光板的一支撐件具有能夠在該顯示裝置中耦接底蓋、頂部殼體等的結構,使得材料成本和製程數量可以減少,並且該顯示裝置的組裝可以被簡化。

如前述圖式所示,一顯示裝置可以包括設置在顯示面板200的後側上的導光板201;底蓋205,包括被配置以支撐導光板201之後表面的背部205b和在背部205b的端部處向顯示面板200彎曲的側部205a;以及支撐件210,被配置以在導光板205的縱向方向上與導光板205的端部間隔開之位置上支撐導光板201的縱向膨脹,並且耦接到導光板201。
首先,參閱圖2所示,在根據實施例的顯示裝置中,顯示面板200、光學片201a等設置在導光板201的前側上,並且反射片201b和底蓋205等設置在導光板201的後側上。此外,由於被配置以支撐導光板201之縱向膨脹的支撐件210在導光板201的端側處耦接到底蓋205,所以在導光板201的熱膨脹期間,可以防止導光板201遭受到引起刮擦或扭曲的變形,或者遭受到引起裂痕的破裂。因此,可以防止缺陷影像的產生。
在本文中,將參考顯示面板是液晶顯示面板的情況來描述示例實施例。如果顯示面板是液晶顯示面板,則顯示面板可以包括外殼構件,該外殼構件被配置以將背光單元、驅動電路單元、液晶顯示面板、背光單元等組裝到一個模組中,並且驅動電路單元可以包括諸如資料驅動電路(源極驅動電路)、閘極驅動電路(掃描驅動電路)、時序控制器和印刷電路板的控制單元。而且,在液晶顯示面板中,在上基板與下基板之間可以存在液晶層,其中上基板可以是與觀看螢幕單元對應的彩色濾光片基板,下基板可以是薄的薄膜電晶體基板。
另外,在形成為矩形的顯示面板的任意一個端部上,其上安裝有IC的複數個可撓性電路薄膜電連接到顯示面板,並且一印刷電路板被安裝為 平行於顯示面板。此外,該複數個可撓性電路薄膜可通過捲帶式自動接合(TAB)、捲帶式封裝(TCP)、軟板覆晶或薄膜覆晶(COF)等製程附接到焊接點和該印刷電路板。
因此,顯示面板可以通過該複數個可撓性電路薄膜電結合或連接到一源印刷電路板,並且由底蓋覆蓋和保護的該源印刷電路板電連接到該複數個可撓性電路板,以將用於在顯示面板上顯示影像的各種訊號提供給時序控制器。
在液晶顯示面板中,為了向顯示面板提供光線,背光單元可以包括LED、LED印刷電路板、導光板201、反射片201b、光學片201a等,並且可以依據LED的安裝位置而被實現為直下式(direct-type)或側光式(edge-type)。在實施例中,導光板201設置在顯示面板200的後側上,而底蓋205設置在導光板201的背側上。底蓋205配置有向顯示面板200彎曲的側部205a;以及被配置以支撐導光板201的後表面的背部205b,使得導光板201位於底蓋205上。
另外,支撐件210可以在縱向方向與導光板201的端部分隔開的位置上耦接到底蓋205,並且支撐件210支撐導光板201的縱向膨脹。導光板201可以由諸如透光材料的甲基丙烯酸酯苯乙烯(MS)之類的聚合物樹脂製成,從而光線可以通過該導光板201傳送。因此,支撐件210的內表面和導光板201的端部被配置為彼此間隔開,以防止由熱膨脹所引起的彎曲、變形、破裂等。
在本文中,支撐件210可以由諸如橡膠、矽樹脂或聚氨酯之類的彈性材料製成,以吸收導光板201的縱向膨脹量,並且透過黏合構件211或黏合劑而黏合到底蓋205的側部205a,使得支撐件210在由於導光板201的熱膨脹而接觸到導光板201之後,可以在未被推動或釋放的位置上被彈性地變形。在本文中,可以使用泡沫墊、聚氨酯或橡膠、雙面膠帶等作為黏合構件211,而該等泡沫墊、聚氨酯或橡膠在每一側上皆設置有黏合劑層。
在實施例中,可以進一步包括面板支撐件213以支撐顯示面板200。面板支撐件213可以包括安置部213a和外部213b,顯示面板200的後表面安置及支撐於安置部213a上,而外部213b垂直地連接至安置部213a並且位於底蓋205的側部205a的外部。當設置面板支撐件213時,面板支撐件213能夠支撐顯示面板200以及底蓋205的外側,使得整個顯示裝置的耦接和剛性能夠得以維持。
在本文中,面板支撐件213可以由塑膠材料或金屬材料形成。然而,除了預定的強度程度之外,考慮到顯示裝置的外觀,面板支撐件213可以由鋁、鋁合金、不銹鋼、鍍鋅鋼板等形成。
另外,顯示面板200可以通過黏合構件202或介於其間的黏合劑耦接到面板支撐件213的安置部213a。本文中,可以使用泡沫墊、聚氨酯或橡膠、雙面膠帶等作為黏合構件202,而該等泡沫墊、聚氨酯或橡膠在其相對側的每一側上皆設置有黏合劑層。
此外,插入部213c可以設置在外部213b與安置部213a之間以凹入,使得底蓋205的側部205a插入到插入部213c中以被耦接定位,並且側部205a的端部經由黏合構件217被支撐和耦接。
而且,為了吸收衝擊,可以在顯示面板200的端部與面板支撐件213的外部213b的前表面之間設置阻尼構件204。如果設置阻尼構件204,則即使從外部施加衝擊,也可以防止顯示面板200端部的破裂以及來自外部的水分和異物的滲入。本文中,阻尼構件204可以包括在表面上含有黏合劑層並且附著到顯示面板200和底蓋205的外部213b的泡沫墊、聚氨酯、橡膠等,或者可以塗覆有彈性樹脂等。
同時,如圖3所示,支撐件210可以包括支撐凹槽210a,導光板201的端部安置於該支撐凹槽210a中;以及突出端部210b和210c,朝向底蓋205的背部205b突出並且插入到底蓋205的後部205b的鎖緊孔中,使得支撐件210可以可拆卸地耦接到底蓋205,也就是說,支撐凹槽210a可以藉由切割與導光板201的端部相對的支撐件210的部分側表面來形成,使得導光板201被安置並支撐在與導光板201的端部間隔開的位置上,並且突出端部210b和210c可以設置在支撐件210的底表面上以可拆卸地耦接到底蓋205。
如圖2所示,支撐件210可以利用黏合構件211耦接到底蓋205。然而,如圖3所示,其上安裝有導光板201的支撐件210可拆卸地耦接到底蓋205。藉由可拆卸地耦接到底部205,簡化了組裝並且在重新製造時也簡化了拆卸,使得可以增加再加工時的便利性,同時降低組裝成本和製程數量。
在底蓋205的背部205b上,階梯部205c可以被設置成與導光板201平行且間隔開的階梯狀。階梯部205c設置有緊固孔205d以與支撐件210的突出端部210b和210c耦接。透過以這種方式將階梯部205c設置在底蓋205的背部 205b上,可以在透過支撐件210支撐導光板201的同時確保與底蓋205連接的空間,並且增加階梯部205c中之底蓋205的剛性,使得在裝配和拆卸支撐件210時能夠防止底蓋205的背部205b的變形。
突出端部210b和210c配置有支撐端部210b,該支撐端部210b在徑向方向上突出大於緊固孔205d的內徑,以防止突出端部於耦接至緊固孔205d之後容易從緊固孔205d分離。也就是說,從支撐件210的底表面突出的突出端部210b和210c包括支撐端部210b和小直徑部210c。因為在支撐件210主體與支撐端部210b之間設置直徑減小的小直徑部210c,所以支撐端部210b穿過緊固孔205d同時在耦接至緊固孔205d時彈性壓縮變形,使得支撐件210被支撐在緊固孔205d的外部,並且小直徑部210c插入緊固孔205d中並被緊固孔205d支撐。
同時,如圖4至圖6所示,支撐端部210b可以具有圓柱形狀、橢圓柱形狀或多邊形柱形狀,並且可以在其圓周外表面中包括傾斜錐形表面210d,以便在耦接時容易地與緊固孔205d耦接,並且防止與緊固孔205d分離。在支撐端部210b內部可以形成空心部212作為淨空的空間。由於空心部212可以設置在支撐端部210b的內部,如圖5和圖6所示,所以支撐端部210b比如圖4所示之沒有設置空心部212的情況更容易地彈性收縮和變形,使得支撐端部210b在耦接到緊固孔205d時可以更容易地耦接到緊固孔205d,並且可以防止與緊固孔205d分離。
另外,如圖3和圖7所示,可以在底蓋205的側部205a的外部設置頂部殼體220,並且可以設置面板引導件225以支撐顯示面板200,在這種情況下,頂部殼體220和底蓋205可以透過如圖3所示的緊固構件227或者如圖7所示的支撐件210彼此耦接。也就是說,如圖3所示,具有第一固定孔221的頂部殼體220可以設置在側部205a的外側,第二固定孔206可以設置在側部205a中對應於第一固定孔221的位置上,並且緊固構件227可以耦接到第一固定孔221和第二固定孔206。
在這種情況下,頂部殼體220安置在側部205a的外側沿第一固定孔221和第二固定孔206彼此同軸疊置的方向上。然後緊固構件227由操作者緊固和組裝,使得頂部殼體220由於緊固構件227的緊固力能夠牢固地被耦接。
另外,在圖7所示的實施例中,具有第一固定孔221的頂部殼體220可以設置在側部205a的外部,第二固定孔206可以設置在側部205a中對應於 第一固定孔221的位置上,並且插入到第一固定孔221中的固定突起214及第二固定孔206可以設置在支撐件210的側表面上,使得頂部殼體可以通過固定突起214來耦接。在這種情況下,當頂部殼體220在平行於側部205a的外表面的方向上滑動時(例如在圖7中的垂直方向上),插入到第二固定孔206中以向外突出的固定突起214被插入到頂部殼體220的第一固定孔221中,使得頂部殼體220能夠在沒有單獨的緊固構件的情況下來組裝。
另外,為了便於在頂部殼體220的垂直滑動組裝時的連接,在固定突起214的外表面上設置傾斜錐形表面214a,使得在連接頂部殼體220和底蓋205彼此時可以有利於耦接,並且可以防止分離。也就是說,固定突起214的錐形表面214a可以形成為傾斜的,使得固定突起214的向外突出量在頂部殼體220向下滑動的方向上逐漸增加,例如從圖中的上側到下側,從而在將頂部殼體220與底蓋205彼此連接時可以方便地進行耦接,並且可以防止分離。
如上所述,根據本發明所揭露的實施方式,在顯示裝置中,可以防止當導光板被熱膨脹時在導光板中引起刮擦或扭曲的變形,或者引起裂痕的破裂,因此,可防止在顯示裝置中產生缺陷的影像。
另外,根據實施例,顯示裝置設置有支撐件,該支撐件支撐具有能夠耦接到底蓋、頂部殼體等結構的導光板,使得材料成本和製程數量可以減少,並且可以簡化顯示裝置的組裝。
儘管上面描述之本發明的實施例的所有組件被耦接為單一個單元或被耦接作為單一個單元來操作,但是本發明不一定限於這樣的實施例。也就是說,在不脫離本發明的範圍的情況下,所有結構元件中的至少兩個元件可以被選擇性地耦接和操作。
另外,由於諸如「包括」、「包含」和「具有」的術語意味著可能存在一個或多個對應的元件,除非它們特別被相反描述,所以應當解釋為可以包括其他的一個或多個組件。除非被相反定義,否則所有術語在技術上、科學上或在其他方面與本領域技術人員所理解的含義一致。在字典中找到的常用術語應該在相關技術文章的背景下解釋,不應太理想或不切實際,除非本發明確實如此定義它們。
對於本領域技術人員顯而易見的是,在不脫離本發明的技術思想或範圍的情況下,可以對本發明的顯示裝置進行各種修改和變化。因此,本發 明旨在涵蓋本發明的修改和變化,只要它們落入所附申請專利範圍以及其均等物的範圍內。
本申請案主張於2016年10月31日提交之韓國專利申請第10-2016-0143817號的優先權,如同本文闡述的所有目的,其通過引用併入本文中。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種顯示裝置,包括:一顯示面板;一導光板,被配置以向該顯示面板的一後側提供光線;一底蓋,包括一背部和一側部,該背部被配置以覆蓋該導光板的一後表面,該側部從該背部的一端部向該顯示面板彎曲;以及一支撐件,耦接到該底蓋,並且被配置以定位該導光板以及容納該導光板的縱向膨脹,該支撐件設置在與該導光板的一縱向端部相鄰的位置上。
  2. 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述的顯示裝置,其中,該支撐件透過插入其間的一黏合構件或一黏合劑耦接至該底蓋的該側部。
  3. 依據申請專利範圍第2項所述的顯示裝置,進一步包括一面板支撐件,該面板支撐件包括一安置部以及一外部,該顯示面板的一後表面安置和支撐在該安置部中,該外部連接到該安置部並被定位在該側部的外側。
  4. 依據申請專利範圍第3項所述的顯示裝置,還包括一阻尼構件,該阻尼構件設置在該顯示面板的一端部與該面板支撐件的一外前表面之間,用以吸收衝擊。
  5. 依據申請專利範圍第1項所述的顯示裝置,其中,該支撐件包括一支撐凹槽以及一突出端部,該導光板的該端部安置在該支撐凹槽中,該突出端部朝向該底蓋的後表面突出並插入該背部的一緊固孔中。
  6. 依據申請專利範圍第5項所述的顯示裝置,其中,該背部包括一階梯部,形成為與該導光板平行並且與該導光板隔開的階梯狀,並且該緊固孔設置在該階梯部中。
  7. 依據申請專利範圍第6項所述的顯示裝置,其中,該突出端部包括一支撐端部,該支撐端部徑向地突出而大於該緊固孔的一內徑並被該緊固孔支撐。
  8. 依據申請專利範圍第7項所述的顯示裝置,其中,該支撐端部在其外周表面上包括一傾斜錐形表面,且包括一空心部,形成在該支撐端部內作為一淨空空間。
  9. 依據申請專利範圍第8項所述之顯示裝置,更包括:一頂部殼體,設置在該側部的外部且包括一第一固定孔,其中該側部在對應於該第一固定孔的位置上包括一第二固定孔;以及一緊固構件,與該第一固定孔和該第二固定孔耦接。
  10. 依據申請專利範圍第8項所述之顯示裝置,進一步包括:一頂部殼體,設置在該側部的外部且包括一第一固定孔,其中該側部在對應於該第一固定孔的位置上包括一第二固定孔;以及一固定突起,設置在該支撐件的一側表面上,以被插入到該第一固定孔和該第二固定孔中。
