具体实施方式
图1中示出体现本发明的特征的皮带拼接器。拼接器20包括棒定位器和支撑在一对框架轨道22之间的夹爪21。在每个端部附接到框架22的手柄24有助于拼接器的便携性。夹爪21被分成右夹爪23和左夹爪23’,每个夹爪关于穿过拼接器的轴向中心线26的竖直平面而成为另一个的几乎相同的镜像。夹爪21的每个半部23、23’包括在拼接器的宽度方向上平行于中心线26延伸的轴28、28’。轴的旋转使夹爪21打开和闭合。每个夹爪23、23’还具有上部台板30,有待拼接在一起的两个皮带端部区段坐在所述上部台板上。皮带端部区段可以是单个皮带的相反端或有待拼接在一起的各个皮带区段的端部。轴28、28’的旋转使左夹爪23和右夹爪23’在闭合位置与打开位置之间朝向或背离彼此平移。每个夹爪23、23’的顶部夹具32沿着拼接器20的宽度与上部台板30隔间隙而延伸。夹具32在每个端部处具有锁定元件34,以便在它自身与台板30之间可释放地夹紧皮带区段的对接端。夹具32的端部坐落在安装到台板30的夹具块36的顶上。每个夹爪23、23’还包括沿着拼接器20的宽度位于间隔开的位置的多对可重新闭合的夹爪开启器38、38’。在这个实例中,可重新闭合的夹爪开启器38、38’位于拼接器的每个轴向端部处,并且第三夹爪开启器位于另外两个的中间。但是针对更宽的皮带拼接器可以使用三个以上开启器。所述多对夹爪开启器38、38’通过使得相对的夹爪23、23’朝向和远离彼此平移来闭合和重新打开夹爪21。左夹爪23与右夹爪23’之间的主要区别在于:一个半部上的轴是主轴28,而另一个半部上的轴是用齿轮连接到主轴的从动轴28’。

同样如图4和图5所示,轴28、28’轴向延伸超过前支撑块60到达夹爪支撑块70。如同前支撑块60,夹爪支撑块70具有供轴28、28’穿过的孔72并且在顶部上具有两对线性轨道引导件。每个轨道引导件包括轨道74和滑架76。滑架76支撑右夹爪23和左夹爪23’(图1)。两个夹爪23、23’也固定到弹簧块78。弹簧块78具有用作重型弹簧82的弹簧座80的外表面。拉杆84穿过弹簧座80中的开口并且穿过螺旋弹簧82的中心向外延伸到弹簧保持器86。弹簧座80、弹簧82、拉杆84和弹簧保持器86构成夹爪开启器中的弹簧机构87。连接臂88在外端枢转地连接到拉杆84的内端。每个连接臂88的内端具有扩大的头部89,其中轴承90可旋转地接收销92,所述销接合两个平行的曲柄臂94、94’,所述曲柄臂一起充当形成夹爪开启器的另一部分的曲柄机构95中的曲柄。两个曲柄臂94、94’被间隙93分开,连接臂88在所述间隙中操作。止动辊97也在间隙93中操作。辊97具有一对耳轴100或轴头,它们被保持在曲柄臂94、94’中的弯曲槽102中。两个平行的弯曲槽102形成用于止动辊97的导轨。轴28、28’在它们的端面上具有开口(未示出),以接收从曲柄臂94中的一个曲柄臂延伸到夹爪支撑块70中的孔72中的定位销96。以这种方式,充当曲柄轴的轴28、28’的旋转会转动曲柄机构95。通过曲柄作用,曲柄臂94的旋转运动经由连接臂88转换成拉杆84的线性运动。一旦夹爪在到达用于熔化或焊接的位置时被阻止进一步闭合,拉杆84向内的线性运动使夹爪23、23’朝向彼此滑动并且使得弹簧82抵靠弹簧块78而压缩。在熔化或焊接操作之后,压缩的弹簧82被释放,并且它们储存的能量以一定的冲击力以及因此加速度将弹簧块78和两个夹爪23、23’(图1)快速地推开。轴28、28’不是连续的单件式轴。相反,它们包括布置在连续的夹爪支撑块70之间并且在端部处连接到曲柄臂94、94’的节段。
图6A到图6E示出皮带端部区段的两个对接端的拼接的顺序图解。在夹爪23、23’的上部台板30上以对齐的相对关系将对接端114夹紧在顶部夹具与两个夹爪之间。每个图表示从曲柄的一对曲柄臂之间的间隙得到的拼接器的横截面图。图中省略了顶部夹具、弹簧块和弹簧,以简化附图。由于除了在示例性型式中沿相反的方向之外,两个夹爪23、23’的操作是相同的,因此以下对一个夹爪的操作的描述足以理解另一个夹爪的操作。在图6A中,夹爪21是打开的。在夹爪21的打开位置,相对的夹爪23、23’在其滑架76上分开。双层止动件99沿着拼接器的宽度在间隔开的位置处从夹爪23、23’朝向彼此向外伸出。每个止动件99具有从夹爪向外的两层突起:(a)沿着拼接器的宽度的第一部分的浅突起(101,图6C);以及(b)沿着拼接器的宽度的相邻第二部分的深突起(103,图6C)。一个夹爪23上的浅突起101在另一个夹爪23’上的深突起103对面,并且反之亦然。利用枢轴98而枢转地连接到弹簧的拉杆(84,图4)的连接臂88处于最外面的位置(朝向图6A中的右侧)。在连接臂88处于这个位置的情况下,弹簧松弛而不储存能量。示出为三角形或扇形形状的曲柄臂94被定向成使得接合销92也处于最外面的位置。可自由旋转的止动辊97(其耳轴100保持在两个曲柄臂的弯曲槽102中)由于重力而坐落在槽的底部。加热棒104降低到夹具夹爪21之下。夹爪支撑块70中的中央切口106容纳棒104。有待拼接的皮带的端部区段108坐落在夹紧在夹爪台板与顶部夹具(未示出)之间的每个夹爪23、23’的台板30上。每个台板30中的凹槽110延伸跨过台板的宽度,以接收延伸跨过皮带区段108的底部的宽度的驱动杆112。凹槽110将皮带端部对准以供精确地拼接。所述皮带也可以底部朝上拼接,其中驱动杆接收在形成于顶部夹具(32,图1)的底面中的凹槽中。
拼接过程中的下一个步骤是对皮带端部区段108的对接端114进行加热,如图6B所示。首先,将加热棒104升高到夹爪23、23’之间的台板30上方的位置。然后,利用图3中的棘轮56沿主轴的逆时针方向手动地旋转主轴28和从动轴28’,如由图6A中的箭头116所指示。由曲柄臂94将连接臂88的头部89拉到所述轴的轴线的顶部上方。连接臂的枢轴98向内平移到最里面的位置会拉动弹簧使其抵靠弹簧块上的弹簧座,这将夹爪23、23’拉向加热棒104,并且在双层止动件99的深突起103与棒的侧面相遇时压缩弹簧。深突起103相对于棒104与台板30对准,使得对接端114与棒的侧面适当地接触以便进行熔化。当连接臂的枢轴98位于其最里面的位置并且弹簧被压缩得最大时,曲柄94处于临界点。直到曲柄94到达临界点时,随着弹簧被压缩,弹簧对抗轴28的旋转产生逐渐增大的力。一旦曲柄94旋转刚刚经过临界点,弹簧就开始使曲柄和轴沿逆时针方向加速。因为在曲柄处于临界位置的情况下,连接臂88靠近弯曲槽102的底端,所以通过重力定位在弯曲槽底部的辊97在被连接臂88阻止在槽的端部之前只行进较小距离,从而防止曲柄进一步沿顺时针方向旋转。在连接臂88的侧边缘中的凹口118用作槽102的端部处的止动器,其帮助将受阻的止动辊97锁定在停止位置中的适当位置。皮带边缘的对接端114被弹簧压力挤压抵靠加热棒104的侧面。
在棒104将对接端114加热足够长的时间以使它们熔化之后,棘轮的棘轮机构(120,图3)反转,并且主轴顺时针旋转,如由图6C中的箭头116’所指示。直到曲柄94到达临界点时,顺时针旋转稍微更多地压缩弹簧。一旦曲柄94经过临界点,压缩的弹簧就会突然释放。储存在弹簧中的能量几乎立即被转换成具有冲击力的动能,所述冲击力以瞬时的速度阶跃变化加速使夹爪23、23’迅速分开,以便迅速地将熔化的对接端114与加热棒104分离。同时,棒104被降低到夹爪23、23’的下方。弹簧能量的快速释放致使主轴沿顺时针方向高速旋转。由于棘轮的棘轮机构被设定为顺时针旋转,因此弹簧引起的沿相同顺时针方向的快速旋转比用手转动棘轮的手柄(56,图3)更快地转动驱动配件(54,图3)。棘轮的爪不与棘轮的齿接合并且导致手柄与配件和主轴一起转动。以这种方式,弹簧的快速释放就不会猛拉操作者的手。在快速打开夹爪23、23’之后,弹簧处于松弛状态,其中连接臂88处于图6C所示的最外面的位置。
拼接过程中的下一个步骤在图6D中示出。在加热棒104仍然降低的情况下,由棘轮驱动的主轴使曲柄94沿与箭头116’所示的相同顺时针方向旋转。曲柄94的顺时针旋转将连接臂88的头部89拉到枢轴销92的轴线下方并且朝向第二锁定位置,恰好在曲柄的临界点的上方,如图6E所示。同时,曲柄94的顺时针转动压缩弹簧并且闭合夹爪23、23’,直到互补的双层止动件99啮合(即深突起103抵靠浅突起101啮合)而皮带的熔化的对接端114相遇,如图6E所示。啮合的双层止动件99设定了相对的夹爪23、23’之间的间距,以便适当地形成拼接。现在位于曲柄94中的槽102的顶端处的止动辊97防止曲柄进一步顺时针旋转,并且限定抵靠连接臂88上的上部止动器凹口118’的第二锁定位置。一旦两个对接端114已经焊接在一起达足够的时间,顶部夹具(图6E中未示出)就被解锁并提升,使得可以从台板30提升拼接的皮带。然后使棘轮的棘轮机构反转,并且使主轴逆时针旋转经过临界点以释放弹簧,这将夹爪推开并使拼接器返回图6A所示的状态。
图7到图9描绘了棒定位器。调节杆48穿过端板42、支撑块60和夹爪支撑块70的底部中心中的孔延伸到斜面机构122。加热棒104在每侧上具有一对凸缘124。辊126从凸缘124的外侧向外延伸到形成斜面机构122的一对侧壁130、130’中的斜槽128中。侧壁130、130’安装到安装块131的相反侧。对于较宽的皮带拼接器,杆延伸部48’从块131延伸到一个或多个其他此类斜面机构,以便沿着棒104的长度在其他位置处支撑所述棒并且升高和降低所述棒。
在图8A中,所示棒104处于降低位置,在所述降低位置中,调节杆48被向前推向拼接器的端板42。在棒104的降低位置,辊126驻留在倾斜槽128的下部水平节段132中。当如图8B所示,杆48被拉离端板42时,辊126沿槽的斜面节段134向上行进到上部水平节段136,所述上部水平节段将棒104支撑在升高位置以便对皮带的对接端进行加热。在杆48缩回的情况下,杆中的周向凹槽138与棒锁定件68接合,以便将棒104锁定在升高位置。弹簧140被压缩在支撑板60与附连到杆48的弹簧环142之间,使得当棒锁定件68被解锁时,弹簧抵靠环142推动,这将迫使杆从图8B中的其位置进入其在图8A中的位置,从而将棒104降低到其降低位置。

Claims (16)

1.一种皮带拼接器,包括:
第一夹爪和相对的第二夹爪,所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪支撑有待拼接在一起的皮带对接端;
连接到所述第一夹爪的第一夹爪开启器和连接到所述第二夹爪的第二夹爪开启器,所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪中的每一者包括:
弹簧机构,所述弹簧机构连接到所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪中的一者并且具有弹簧;以及
曲柄机构,所述曲柄机构具有联接到所述弹簧机构的曲柄,以便压缩和释放所述弹簧并且使所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪中的所述一者朝向所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪中的另一者移动;
其中所述弹簧的释放推动所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪中的所述一者远离所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪中的所述另一者;

15.如权利要求14所述的皮带拼接器,进一步包括:
加热棒;
棒定位器,所述棒定位器连接到所述加热棒以便在升高位置与降低位置之间升高和降低所述加热棒,所述升高位置位于所述相对的第一夹爪与第二夹爪之间用于熔化皮带的对接端,所述降低位置在所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪下方,其中所述棒定位器将所述加热棒朝向所述降低位置偏置;
凸轮,所述凸轮位于所述主轴和所述从动轴中的一者上;以及
棒锁定件,所述棒锁定件将所述棒定位器锁定在所述升高位置,并且当所述第一夹爪和所述第二夹爪被推动打开时与所述凸轮接合,以便将所述棒定位器解锁并将所述加热棒返回到所述降低位置。
16.如权利要求14所述的皮带拼接器,其中所述从动轴联接到所述主轴以便沿相反的方向一起同步旋转。
