Description of the embodiments

The purpose of the arc clamping plate 21 is to: so that the two arc clamping plates 21 form a 'hugging' shape, thereby facilitating the clamping of the front wheel of the bicycle by the arc clamping plates 21 when the clamping jaws 12 are mutually close and contracted.

A coil spring 2 is arranged on a vertical plate 7 of the vertical frame 1 above the locker through an assembly pin 6; the lower end of the coil spring 2 is connected with a sliding seat 9 of the locker; the slide 9 always has a tendency to move upwards under the spring force of the coil spring 2.
A lock plate 3 is movably arranged on the vertical frame 1 at the rear side of the locker; the lock plate 3 is composed of a bottom plate 16 and a limiting block 17; a bottom plate 16 is movably inserted on the connecting plate 8; limiting blocks 17 are fixedly arranged on the bottom plates 16 on two sides of the connecting plate 8. The bottom plate 16 can move back and forth on the connecting plate 8; the purpose of setting the stopper 17 is that: preventing the bottom plate 16 from disengaging from the connecting plate 8.
The limiting block 17 positioned at the inner side is connected with the connecting plate 8 through a tension spring 18; under the action of the tension spring 18; the lock plate 3 has a tendency to always move rearward.
One end of the bottom plate 16 is provided with a T-shaped clamping groove 19; the bottom plate 16 passes through the through hole 15 and then is connected with the T-shaped block 14 in a clamping way through the T-shaped clamping groove 19. When the bicycle vertical parking frame is in an initial state, the bottom plate 16 passes through the through hole 15 and is connected with the T-shaped block 14 in a clamping way. At this time, the tension of the tension spring 18 is smaller than the elasticity of the supporting spring 13; this ensures that the slide bar 10 is stable within the longitudinal section and avoids the problem of the bottom plate 16 pulling the T-block 14 (see fig. 4 of the specification).
When using the vertical parking stand for parking a bicycle, one needs to push the bicycle forward after aligning the front wheel of the bicycle at a position between the clamping jaws 12 and push the slide bar 10 to the vertical portion of the "F" shaped chute 5 through the front wheel. At the same time, the T-block 14 pushes the lock plate 3 so that the lock plate 3 is pushed out of the through hole 15 of the slide 9 (see fig. 6 of the specification), and the lock plate 3 is kept at that position under the tension of the tension spring 18 (see fig. 10 of the specification).
During the backward movement of the slide bar 10, each link 11 will rotate inwards; thereby pushing the jaws 12 toward each other; the closed clamping jaw 12 clamps and locks the front wheel of the bicycle through the arc-shaped clamping plate 21.
When the slide bar 10 moves backwards to a proper position, the clamping jaw 12 clamps and locks the front wheel of the bicycle; the coil spring 2 drives the bicycle to move upwards through the sliding seat 9, the T-shaped block 14 and the clamping jaw 12; after the jaws 12 are moved to the uppermost position; the bicycle is placed vertically (see figure 7 of the specification).
When taking the bicycle, people need to pull the bicycle backwards; so that the front wheel moves the clamping jaw 12, the T-block 14 and the slide 9 downwards; when the front wheel of the bicycle falls to the ground; the front wheel drives the clamping jaw 12, the T-shaped block 14 and the sliding seat 9 to move to the lowest position; the T-shaped block 14 is inserted into the T-shaped clamping groove 19 of the lock plate 3 from the top (see fig. 6 of the specification); and then pulling the bicycle; under the action of tensile force; the bicycle pulls the slide bar 10 to the longitudinal portion of the "F" shaped chute 5 by the jaws 12, which returns the slide bar 10 to its original position. In this process; the T-shaped block 14 pulls the locking plate 3 to restore to the original position through the through hole 15 of the sliding seat 9, thereby locking the sliding seat 9; the problem of the coil spring 2 pulling the slide 9 is avoided.
