酸梅汤的主要原料是乌梅,为药食兼之的中药,中医认为它性平味酸,具有生津止渴、开胃涩肠、消炎止痢的功效,适宜虚热口渴,胃呆食少,胃酸缺乏及萎缩性胃炎胃酸过少者,消化不良,慢性痢疾肠炎等患者食用,同时还适宜孕妇妊娠恶心者及胆道蛔虫患者食用。现代药理研究,它含钾多而含钠较少,因此需要长期服用排钾性利尿药者宜食之;另外它所含儿茶酸能促进肠蠕动,因此便秘者宜食之;它还含有多种有机酸,有改善肝脏机能的作用,肝病患者宜食之;其所含的梅酸可软化血管,具有防老抗衰的作用;所含的纤维较多,可使机体把一些代谢产物排出体外,具有排毒养颜功效。
五味子做为药材,最早收载于《神农本草经》中被列为上品。古人曾这样评价五味子“五味子皮肉甘酸、核甲辛苦,都有咸味此则五味俱也。”现代药理研究表明,五味子含有多种营养成分,如五味子素、苹果酸、柠檬酸、酒石酸、琥珀酸、脂肪油、挥发油、糖类、树脂、维生素C等,还含有钨、铁、锰、锌、磷等微量元素。一般临床通常用于神经系统疾病和心血管疾病的治疗。因五味子能增强中枢神经系统的兴奋与抑制过程,并使之趋向平衡,从而提高机体活动机能,减轻和解除疲劳,提高生活质量和工作效率;可通过加强心脏的收缩力量功能,调节心血管系统,从而改善血液循环,降低血压;五味子有兴奋呼吸作用,改善肺功能,并有明显的止咳祛痰作用;还能调节胃液分泌以及兴奋子宫;有保护肝脏的作用,五味子素是降GPT的主要成份,一般用药一周后GPT即开始下降,是治疗肝胆疾病较理想的药物。此外,五味子还有一定的抑制细菌等病原微生物繁殖的功效,五味子水煎剂对结核杆菌、枯草杆菌、大肠杆菌、伤寒杆菌、金黄色葡萄球菌、链球菌、肺炎双球菌、有较强的抑制作用。临床上利用它收涩的功效,用来敛肺、止汗、涩精止泻等。山楂性微温,味酸甘,具有开胃消食、化滞消积、收敛止痢、活血化瘀、降血脂和降血压的作用。甘草气味甘润,且有和百药之功,而桂花气味清香,具有清肺润燥的作用,诸料合而为汤,甘酸可口,能清凉解暑、生津止渴,冷藏后为炎热夏日不可多得的保健汤品。同时它对皮肤过敏引起的一些小痘小斑有很好的防治作用。

五味子5-10 g;
山楂干50-60 g;
甘草5-10 g;
陈皮10-20 g;
桂花5-10 g;
冰糖150-200 g
水2.5 L
