Abstract

Description
本发明涉及包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料(a)与有色吸收颜料(b)的组合在制备具有增强的色彩性能,优选增强的色度、亮度和/或遮盖力的涂层中的用途。此外,本发明涉及所述效应颜料(a)和颜料(b)的特殊重量比的颜料组合,用包含所述颜料组合的组合物涂覆的制品,和所述颜料组合在使塑料、纤维、膜或涂料组合物如漆、印刷油墨、清漆或粉末涂料,优选汽车、建筑或工业涂料组合物着色中的用途。
光泽或效应颜料用于许多领域,如汽车涂料、装饰性涂料、塑料、漆、印刷油墨和化妆品中。
光学效应基于光在主要为片状的、平行取向、金属或强折射颜料颗粒上的直接反射。取决于颜料微片(platelet)的组成,存在产生角相关色和亮度效果的干涉、反射和吸收现象。
金属效应颜料是所有技术人员已知的微片型基材,其中实例为铝微片/薄片或金属氧化物涂覆铝微片/薄片。具有铁氧化物涂层的微片型铝颜料是熟知的且描述于例如EP-A-0033457或W.Ostertag等,Farbe und Lack12(1987)973-976中。它们属于效应颜料类,借助其特定颜色性能,它们广泛用于涂料、漆、印刷油墨、塑料、陶瓷组合物以及釉料和化妆品制剂的着色中。
铁氧化物涂覆的铝颜料由在铝微片表面上的镜面反射、铁氧化物层中的选择性光吸收和铁氧化物层的膜状表面上的光干涉的组合得到其特定光学特征。光干涉得到主要由铁氧化物涂层厚度决定的颜色。因此,干颜料粉末随着铁氧化物层厚度增加在空气中显示出以下色调,其由于第一级或第二级干涉分类为:
第一级干涉色:浅黄色、绿金色、金色、微红金色、红色、紫色、灰紫色;
第二级干涉色:黄色、金色、微红金色、红金色、红色。
铁氧化物涂覆的铝颜料是非常亮且不透明的,这就是它们广泛用于汽车涂料中的原因。常用于该领域中的颜料基于铝微片并显示出金属镜效应。
效应颜料的金属氧化物层可通过挥发性金属化合物在氧气和/或水蒸气的存在下气相分解或者通过湿化学涂覆方法(例如溶胶-凝胶或沉淀方法)提供于金属基材颗粒上。
EP-A-0033457描述了制备有色效应颜料的方法,所述效应颜料包含其表面至少部分地覆盖有铁氧化物的金属基材,其中将五羰铁在金属基材的流化床中在100℃以上用氧氧化成铁氧化物。
US-A-2008/0115693描述了包含薄片基底材料和结合到所述基底材料的颜料的有色薄片颜料。基底材料可以由覆盖有铁氧化物的铝薄片组成。
US-A-2006/0047018公开了具有以下结构的有色干涉颜料:Fe2O3/SnO2/[SiO2/Al(P)]。它们被描述为具有高色度的微红色金属光泽的颜料。
US-A-2007/0034112公开了基于通过化学气相沉积用铁氧化物涂覆的铝微片的光泽颜料。所述铝微片具有8-30μm的平均尺寸,300-600nm的平均厚度和15-70的纵横比。描述了当施用在涂层中时显现出金色、橙色或红色干涉色的颜料。
在湿化学制备方法中,含金属氧化物的层可通过合适金属盐,例如铁(III)盐如铁(III)的氯化物和硫酸盐或可水解有机金属化合物的水解反应而施用。关于效应颜料的金属基基材上的金属氧化物涂层的制备的细节提供于例如EP-A-0708154或JP-A-54081337中。
WO-A-2013/156327公开了一种湿化学制备方法,其中在铝或铝合金基材上初始形成的含羟基的金属氧化物层在至少90℃的温度下经受液体后处理介质。
US-A-5,277,711公开了一种用于制备铁氧化物涂覆的铝颗粒和通过利用气相沉积将铝和云母颗粒与铁氧化物结合涂覆的铁氧化物涂覆的颗粒的混合物的方法。
US-A-2015/0104573公开了一种用于制备有色效应颜料的方法,其中将SiO2钝化的铝微片在含水介质中用铁氧化物涂覆,导致第二级干涉,随后加入用铁氧化物涂覆的云母以形成均匀的混合物,分离并干燥。
已知铁氧化物涂覆的铝颜料具有金色至红色的区域的鲜艳的颜色。主要使用具有金色至微红金色(橙色)第一级干涉色的颜料以在涂料应用中提供相应的着色,而在红色区域的涂料应用通常使用具有红色第二级干涉色的颜料。用这些颜料制备的涂层通常显示出良好的色彩性能,如高色度、高光泽度以及高不透明度。
具有红色第一级干涉色的颜料通常作为干粉末显示出鲜艳的红色色调,然而当用于涂料应用时,色彩性质不足以用于该类应用。掺入涂料的具有红色第一级干涉色的颜料在饱和色下显示出比在空气中作为干粉末更低的色度和更弱的颜色。
由于在高亮度、高色度和高遮盖力的涂料应用中存在商业关注,因此持续需要提供该类涂层。
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的颜料组合,所述颜料组合在涂料应用中显现出改进的色彩性能,如在涂料应用中,尤其是在红色调或微红的汽车涂层中改进的色度、亮度和/或遮盖力。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种效应颜料,其包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层,尤其用于显现出增强的色彩性能如改进的色度、亮度和/或遮盖力的涂料应用中,特别是用于红色调或微红涂料应用中。
现在已经发现,基于包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的颜料组合的效应颜料可用于制备具有所需性能的涂层。尤其是具有黄色至紫色色调的其他有色吸收颜料的混合物使得涂层与包含具有第二级干涉色的相应效应颜料的颜料组合相比具有优异的色彩性能。
因此,在第一方面,本发明涉及包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料(a)与有色吸收颜料(b)的组合在制备具有增强的色彩性能,优选增强的色度、亮度和/或遮盖力的涂层中的用途。
在另一方面,本发明涉及一种用于增强涂层的色彩性能,尤其是色度、亮度和/或遮盖力的方法,其中包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料与有色吸收颜料组合使用。
在另一方面,本发明涉及一种颜料组合,其包含:
(a)含有铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料;和
(b)有色吸收颜料,
其中效应颜料(a)与颜料(b)的重量比为95:5至5:95,优选80:20至5:95,更优选75:25至20:80。
在另一方面,本发明涉及如本文所定义的颜料组合在使塑料、纤维、膜或涂料组合物如漆、印刷油墨、清漆或粉末涂料,优选汽车、建筑或工业涂料组合物着色中的用途。
在另一方面,本发明涉及一种用包含如本文所定义的颜料组合的组合物涂覆的制品;和用如本文所定义的颜料组合着色的汽车涂层。
颜色可以以不同的色彩空间体系描述。本文所用颜色数据如C*(色度)、h*(色调角)、L*(亮度)、a*(红绿轴)和b*(黄蓝轴)应如CIELAB颜色测量体系(由CommissionInternationale de l'Eclairage指定)中所定义理解。例如,考虑CIELAB色彩空间中的A点,它由三个坐标L*、a*和b*定义。如本领域技术人员已知的,色品坐标a*和b*也可以通过圆柱坐标C*和h*表示。
染色介质的术语“不透明度”或“遮盖力”是指染色介质遮盖经罩面涂覆的基材的颜色或颜色差异的能力。
本文使用的术语“铁氧化物”特别是指α-氧化铁(III)。然而,术语“铁氧化物”还包括α-氧化铁(III)与少量γ-氧化铁(III)、磁铁矿(Fe3O4)、水合氧化铁或氧化铁氢氧化物(例如FeO(OH)、Fe2O3·H2O、Fe2O3·nH2O(n≥2)、Fe(OH)3、Fe(OH)2或这些含羟基的铁氧化物中的两种或更多种的混合物)。优选地,Fe原子以Fe(III)存在。然而,在本发明中,Fe原子也可以以Fe(II)和/或Fe(IV)存在。
本文使用的术语“具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层”是指在任选钝化的铝基基材上施用的铁氧化物涂层。当掺入底涂层时,获得根据CIELAB体系的L*C*h*色彩空间中约50°至约60°的色调角h*(15°照度)。
本文使用的术语“有色吸收颜料”是指除了白色颜料如二氧化钛(C.I.颜料白6)或任何效应颜料(即在主要二维取向金属或高折射率颗粒,尤其是金属微片、氧化物涂覆的金属微片和涂覆的云母微片上显现出直接反射的颜料)之外的有色颜料。
本文使用的术语“透明颜料”是指提供在400-700nm范围内基本上透明而在该波长下没有明显的辐射散射的涂层的颜料。
术语“其混合物”或“其组合”是指在相应列举中提及的两种或更多种组分(相同或不同种类的组分)的任何可能的混合物或组合。
本发明颜料组合由至少两种组分组成,其中效应颜料(a)包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层,并且第二颜料(b)为至少一种有色吸收颜料。
通常,颜料(b)可以是除效应颜料或白色颜料之外的任何颜料。颜料(b)可以是黄色至紫色色调的颜料,优选具有与效应颜料(a)相似的红色色调的颜料。与其他有色颜料如黑色或棕色颜料的组合也可以实现该效应。
效应颜料(a)与颜料(b)的重量比可以在宽范围内变化。
因此,在一个优选的实施方案中,本发明涉及包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料(a)与有色吸收颜料(b)的组合在制备具有增强的色彩性能,优选增强的色度、亮度和/或遮盖力的涂层中的用途,其中效应颜料(a)和颜料(b)的重量比为95:5至5:95,优选80:20至5:95,更优选75:25至20:80。
效应颜料(a)包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层,优选铝薄片或微片和具有红色第一级干涉色的涂层。
技术人员通常已知合适的铝基基材颗粒。铝基基材颗粒可以由可以至少部分地涂覆有一个或多个钝化层的铝芯或铝合金芯制成。
铝或铝合金芯通常以微片或薄片的形式存在。
作为示例性的铝合金,可以提及铝青铜。
铝或铝合金微片或薄片可以通过PVD技术(PVD:物理气相沉积)或者通过常见雾化和研磨技术得到。合适的铝或铝合金微片例如通过哈尔(Hall)法通过在石油溶剂中湿研磨而制备。原料为雾化的不规则铝砂,将其在石油溶剂中在润滑剂的存在下球磨成微片型颗粒,随后分级。
基材优选为铝。取决于起始颗粒的质量和形状以及研磨条件,铝基材可以是“玉米片”型或“银元”型。
作为替代,可以通过PVD技术(也称为VMP(真空金属化颜料))制备铝薄片。铝优选在用防粘层预先制备的塑料箔上真空涂覆。通常通过溶解防粘层制备大的铝薄片,将其进一步分类为所需的粒径。如此制备的薄片的厚度通常为约5-100nm,优选约10-50nm。通常,如此制备的薄片显示出均匀的厚度分布和高遮盖力。
铝或铝合金微片或薄片的平均厚度和平均直径可经宽范围变化。通常,微片或薄片的平均厚度可以为5-1500nm,优选20-1000nm,且平均直径可以为5-100μm,优选8-50μm。通常平均直径与平均厚度的纵横比可以为30-5000。直径可以通过激光散射尺寸测定而测定。通常通过透射电子显微镜(TEM)(划格法得到的)测定微片或薄片的厚度。
如上所述,铝基基材颗粒的铝或铝合金芯可以至少部分地涂覆有一个或多个钝化层。
合适的钝化层通常是技术人员已知的。钝化层优选为无机层如金属磷酸盐层或无机氧化物层。如果无机钝化层为金属磷酸盐层,则金属可选自Ti、V、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Zn、Al、Zr、Nb、Mo、Ta或W。如果无机钝化层为无机氧化物层,则氧化物可选自Ti、V、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Zn、Al、Zr、Nb、Mo、Ta、W、Ge、Si、Sn和Bi的氧化物或其任何组合。
优选地,钝化层是金属磷酸盐层、二氧化硅层、氧化铝层、水合氧化铝(AlOOH)层或其组合。
根据一个优选方面,本发明涉及效应颜料(a)的用途,其中效应颜料(a)包含铝基材,其任选地用金属磷酸盐、二氧化硅、氧化铝、水合氧化铝或其组合钝化。
制备效应颜料基材如铝微片上的钝化层的方法通常是技术人员已知的。
原则上,钝化层可通过湿化学方法或化学气相沉积(CVD)方法制备。例如,在WO-A-96/38505或WO-A-2005/049739中描述了用一个氧化铝和/或水合氧化铝钝化层的铝颜料。
在湿化学方法中,将有机基团经由氧原子结合于金属的合适前体化合物如有机硅和/或铝化合物在基材颗粒(例如铝薄片或微片)和金属化合物可溶于其中的有机溶剂的存在下水解。优选将金属醇盐(尤其是四乙氧基硅烷和三异丙醇铝)在醇(例如乙醇或异丙醇)和碱性或酸催化剂(例如氨水和/或胺)的存在下水解。这优选通过首先装入基材颗粒、异丙醇、水和氨,将该混合物在搅拌下加热至40-80℃,和连续加入金属醇盐在异丙醇中的溶液而进行。在通常1-15小时的随后搅拌时间后,将混合物冷却至室温,将经涂覆的颜料通过过滤,洗涤和任选干燥而分离。关于制备铝上的钝化层的方法的其他细节提供于例如EP-A-0708154和DE-A-4405492中。
铁氧化物层可以通过湿化学法或化学气相沉积(CVD)法,优选通过CVD制备。因此,效应颜料(a)优选通过化学气相沉积方法涂覆。
如EP-A-0033457或US-A-2007/0034112中所公开的,CVD方法有利地通过在流化基材颗粒(例如铝薄片或微片)存在下气相羰基铁的氧化分解而进行。通常进行涂覆方法,直到获得所需的第一级干涉色。铁氧化物涂层具有导致第一级干涉的厚度。
可通过CVD方法获得的铁氧化物涂层的几何厚度通常为约35-45nm。几何层厚度通常基于TEM显微照片(划格法)而测定。
湿化学方法可以通过水解合适的铁化合物,例如无机盐如硝酸铁、硫酸铁或氯化铁,或者同时氧化或不同时氧化其他尤其是有机铁化合物如乙酸铁、甲酸铁、柠檬酸铁、乙酰丙酮酸铁和二茂铁,在悬浮于水和/或有机溶剂中的基材颗粒存在下并且有或没有随后的煅烧而进行。通常进行涂覆方法,直至获得所需的第一级干涉色。铁氧化物涂层具有导致第一级干涉的厚度。
可通过湿化学方法获得的铁氧化物涂层的几何厚度通常为约80nm至约150nm。几何层厚度可以基于TEM显微照片(划格法)而测定。
本发明效应颜料可以任选地提供适合于特定最终用途的表面改性,其中使效应颜料与表面改性剂接触,例如与具有对效应颜料的表面呈反应性的官能团的表面改性剂接触。
对于颜料表面改性步骤,效应颜料(a)可以在包含至少一种表面改性剂的液体介质中提供。然而,也可以使表面改性剂经由气相与煅烧步骤的效应颜料接触。
效应颜料的表面改性方法和合适的表面改性剂如具有表面反应性官能团的硅烷(例如烷氧基硅烷等)是技术人员已知的并可改进效应颜料与清漆或漆的相容性。表面改性方法和试剂描述于例如EP-A-1682622、EP-A-1904587和EP-A-0688833中。
取决于所需涂料的色调,第二颜料(b)可以是黄色至紫色的色调的任何透明有色吸收颜料。合适的颜料(b)可以由它们的约300°至约110°(逆时针)的色调角表示。也可能是与其他有色颜料如黑色或棕色颜料如透明炭黑颜料或透明黑色苝颜料的组合。
颜料(b)可以是有机颜料、无机颜料或其混合物。优选地,颜料(b)具有与效应颜料(a)相似的红色调。
因此,在一个优选方面,颜料(b)是透明颜料,尤其是选自有机颜料、无机颜料及其混合物。
适用于本发明颜料组合的有机有色吸收颜料包括例如选自单偶氮、双偶氮、双偶氮缩合、二苯并芘二酮、蒽醌、蒽素嘧啶、苯并咪唑酮、喹吖啶酮、喹酞酮、二酮基吡咯并吡咯、二硫代酮基吡咯并吡咯、二嗪、黄烷士酮、异吲哚啉、异吲哚啉酮、异紫蒽酮、金属配合物、芘酮(perinone)、苝、皮蒽酮、吡唑喹唑啉酮、靛蓝、硫靛蓝、三芳基碳颜料及其混合物(包括其固溶体或其混晶)的颜料。

合适的有机颜料例如可以商标Cosmoray Orange L 2950、IrgazinRubine L 4030、Irgazin DPP Orange RA、Irgazin Red L 3630、Irgazin Yellow L 2040、Irgazin Yellow L 0800、Red L 3885或Paliogen Red L 3920市购获得。
合适的无机颜料可以是透明黄色铁氧化物颜料(C.I.颜料黄42)、透明红色铁氧化物颜料(C.I.颜料红101)或其混合物。尤其优选红色铁氧化物颜料。
合适的无机黑色或棕色颜料可以是炭黑(C.I.颜料黑7)、石墨(C.I.颜料黑10)或铬铁氧化物(C.I.颜料棕29)。
合适的无机颜料例如可以商标市购获得。
有色吸收颜料(b)优选是透明的。
此外,为了获得特殊效果,不透明的有色吸收颜料可以以少量,通常以基于组合物中所有颜料的重量小于10重量%,优选小于5重量%的量使用。
本文使用的颜料优选以细分散的形式存在。通常,有机颜料具有200nm或更小,优选约80-200nm的平均初级粒度。无机颜料通常具有200nm或更小,优选约80-200nm的平均粒度。平均粒度可以根据DIN ISO 13320:2009来测定。
在另一方面,本发明涉及一种颜料组合,其包含:
(a)含有铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料;和
(b)有色吸收颜料,
其中效应颜料(a)与颜料(b)的重量比为95:5至5:95,优选80:20至5:95,更优选75:25至20:80。
优选地,颜料(b)是透明颜料,尤其是选自有机颜料、无机颜料及其混合物。
特别地,有机颜料是红色调有机颜料,例如选自蒽醌、二酮基吡咯并吡咯、异吲哚啉酮、金属配合物、芘酮、苝、靛蓝颜料或其任何混合物(包括固溶体或混晶)的红色或橙色有机颜料。
无机颜料可以是透明黄色铁氧化物颜料(C.I.颜料黄42)、透明红色铁氧化物颜料(C.I.颜料红101)或其混合物。尤其优选红色铁氧化物颜料。
颜料组合可以以常规方式掺入施用体系。通常,颜料(b)以预分散状态加入。包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料(a)可以浆料加入。
本发明颜料组合特别适合于所有颜料最终用途应用,尤其是使天然和合成来源的有机或无机材料着色,例如,
a)用于原料着色聚合物,例如以树脂、橡胶或塑料(包括膜和纤维)的形式;
b)用于制备漆、漆体系、涂料组合物,例如在汽车、建筑和工业涂料组合物中,
c)印刷油墨,例如数字印刷如喷墨印刷以及用于电子照相(例如用于激光打印机)中的调色剂;
d)作为着色剂如颜料和染料的添加剂等。
漆是含水的或溶剂型涂料材料以及粉末涂料材料,其中可使用本发明颜料组合。可以使用的有机成膜粘合剂包括在涂料领域中常见的所有粘合剂。可用本发明颜料组合着色的粘合剂材料的实例更具体地包括:
-油基材料(基于亚麻子油或聚氨酯油),
-纤维素基材料(NC、CAB、CAP),
-基于氯化橡胶的材料,
-乙烯基材料(基于PVC、PVDF、VC共聚物、聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚乙烯基酯分散体、聚乙烯醇、聚乙烯醇缩醛、聚乙烯醚、聚苯乙烯、苯乙烯共聚物),
-丙烯酸类材料,
-醇酸材料,
-饱和聚酯材料,
-不饱和聚酯材料,
-聚氨酯材料(单包装,双包装),
-环氧材料,
-聚硅氧烷材料。
该体系详细描述在D.Stoye,W.Freitag,Paints,Coatings and Solvents,第二版,1998,Wiley-VCH中。
优选颜料组合用于水型和溶剂型涂料应用中,更优选用于装饰性涂料组合物如建筑、汽车或工业涂料组合物中。
本发明颜料组合通常以常规方式掺入它们各自的施用介质中。然后可以用这些施用介质涂覆制品,从而染色。所述制品可以是例如车身、工业设备、建筑物覆盖组件等。
在塑料的情况下,本发明颜料组合也可以整体掺入施加介质中以用于着色。该制品包含本发明颜料组合。
颜料组合可以以基于待着色的材料的总重量为0.01-75重量%,优选0.01-50重量%的量使用。
在另一方面,本发明涉及如上文任何方面所定义的颜料组合在使塑料、纤维、膜、陶瓷材料或涂料组合物如漆、印刷油墨、清漆或粉末涂料,优选汽车、建筑或工业涂料组合物着色或染色中的用途。涂料组合物可以是任何装饰性涂料组合物,如汽车、建筑或工业涂料组合物,或者漆。涂料组合物、印刷油墨或漆可以是水型或溶剂型。优选地,颜料组合用作汽车、建筑、工业涂料组合物、漆、印刷油墨或塑料的着色剂。特别地,颜料组合用作汽车OEM或重涂涂料组合物的着色剂。
在另一方面,本发明涉及塑料、纤维、膜或涂料组合物如漆、印刷油墨、清漆或粉末涂料,其用如上文任何方面所定义的颜料组合着色或染色。
在另一方面,本发明涉及用包含如上文任何方面所定义的颜料组合的组合物涂覆的制品。
制品的任何材料可以用包含本发明颜料组合的组合物涂覆,其包括以下材料:玻璃、陶瓷、塑料、光滑表面复合材料和金属基材。特别地,该组合物特别适用于金属制品或塑料制品。制品可以是裸露的基材材料,或者在金属基材的情况下,可以经预处理以赋予耐腐蚀性,例如通过磷酸盐化或电涂(如阴极浸渍涂覆)或本领域公知的其他类似处理。
包含本发明颜料组合的涂层特别适用于在汽车工业中使用的多层涂层。如本领域已知的,通常将颜料组合掺入底涂层/透明涂层体系的底涂层中。
因此,本发明涉及一种汽车涂料,其用如上文任何方面所定义的颜料组合着色或染色。
在另一方面,本发明涉及一种用于使塑料、纤维、膜或涂料组合物如漆、印刷油墨、清漆或粉末涂料着色或染色的方法,该方法包括向所述物质中加入如上文任何方面所定义的颜料组合。
在另一方面,本发明涉及一种用于增强涂层的色彩性能,尤其是色度、亮度和/或遮盖力的方法,其中包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料与有色吸收颜料组合使用。
本发明颜料组合在色彩性能,特别是色度、亮度和/或遮盖力上优异。
具有尤其是黄色至紫色色调的有色吸收颜料(b)与包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料(a)的混合使得涂层与具有第二级干涉色的相应效应颜料组合的相似颜料相比具有优异的色彩性能。通过更高色度和更高亮度的组合表示涂层更加鲜艳。此外,遮盖力或不透明度显著提高。当使用与具有红色第一级干涉色的效应颜料相似的色调的有色吸收颜料时,可以进一步改进色彩性能。
此外,外用涂料所需的性能特征如耐候性和耐光性不会受到不利影响。
对于上文提及的颜料给出的定义和优选情形以任何组合以及本发明的其他方面的任何组合施用。
现在将参考以下实施例更详细地解释本发明。这些实施例不应被解释为限制性的。除非另有说明,“%”总是重量%。
实施例
为了测定色相h[°]、色度C*和亮度L*的CIELAB值,所获得的涂膜(主色)测量如下:通过搅拌将总染色水平为5重量%(基于湿清漆总重量)的颜料掺入常规的溶剂型中等固体分纤维素乙酰丁酸酯(CAB)/聚酯清漆(颜料/粘合剂20/100)中,直至颜料最终分散。将完成的清漆施用到铝板上,湿膜厚度为约150-160μm,随后在室温下干燥至约20μm的厚度。使用具有45°的恒定入射角的多角度比色计BYK-MAC(来自BYK Gardner)来测定颜色数据。值C*、L*、a*、b*和h*在15°和-15°(相对于镜面角度)下测量。
为了测定不透明度(遮盖力),所获得的涂膜(主色)如下测量:底涂层在如同象棋游戏的黑白对比的面板上以楔形式喷涂。目测确定遮盖区域的起始位置。此时底涂层厚度用涂层测厚仪(DeFelsko PosiTector 6000)测定。合成实施例1
在实验室流化床反应器中,用氮气将1000g平均粒度d50=18μm的铝微片流化,并在1小时内加热至180℃。达到该温度后,分别以400L/h和150L/h加入水蒸气和空气。将氧含量调整至3%以下。随后,使用氮气料流以50mL/h加入气态Fe(CO)5(通过将反应器外部的液体材料加热至60℃而产生)。该方法在约390ml的量的Fe(CO)5下达到所需第一级干涉的红色。通过产物的化学分析测定的铝含量约为80重量%,而铁氧化物含量约为20重量%。
合成实施例2
将75g涂覆二氧化硅的铝微片(根据EP-A-0708154的实施例1的步骤(a)制备)分散在700mL水中。将悬浮液加热至80℃,并将pH调节至pH≈3。同时加入50%的硝酸铁水溶液和NaOH以保持pH恒定。当达到第二级橙色至红色的颜色时,停止加料。根据化学分析颜料组成为Al:SiO2:Fe2O3=32:11:57。

Claims (14)
1.包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料(a)与有色吸收颜料(b)的组合在制备具有增强的色彩性能,优选增强的色度、亮度和/或遮盖力的涂层中的用途。
2.根据权利要求1的用途,其中效应颜料(a)与颜料(b)的重量比为95:5至5:95,优选80:20至5:95,更优选75:25至20:80。
3.根据权利要求1或2的用途,其中颜料(b)是透明颜料,其尤其是选自由如下组成的组:有机颜料、无机颜料及其混合物。
4.根据权利要求1、2或3的用途,其中有机颜料为红色调颜料,其选自蒽醌、二酮基吡咯并吡咯、异吲哚啉酮、金属配合物、苝、靛蓝颜料或其包括固溶体或混晶的混合物。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项的用途,其中无机颜料是黄色或红色铁氧化物。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项的用途,其中效应颜料(a)通过化学气相沉积方法涂覆。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一项的用途,其中效应颜料(a)包含铝基材,所述铝基材任选用金属磷酸盐、二氧化硅、氧化铝、水合氧化铝或其组合钝化。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项的用途,其中涂层选自汽车、建筑或工业涂层。
9.一种用于增强涂层的色彩性能的方法,其中将包含铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料(a)与有色吸收颜料(b)组合使用。
10.一种颜料组合,其包含
(a)含有铝基基材和具有红色第一级干涉色的铁氧化物涂层的效应颜料;和
(b)有色吸收颜料,
其中效应颜料(a)与颜料(b)的重量比为95:5至5:95,优选80:20至5:95。
11.根据权利要求10的颜料组合,其中颜料(b)是透明颜料,尤其是选自由如下组成的组:有机颜料、无机颜料及其组合。
12.如权利要求10或11所定义的颜料组合在使塑料、纤维、膜或涂料组合物如漆、印刷油墨、清漆或粉末涂料,优选汽车、建筑或工业涂料组合物着色中的用途。
13.一种用包含如权利要求10或11所定义的颜料组合的组合物涂覆的制品。
14.一种汽车涂层,其用如权利要求10或11所定义的颜料组合着色。
