Description

Medicine 'Baicheqingjin' for treating cough
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of traditional Chinese medicines, and in particular relates to a myrobalan Qingjin granule for treating infantile cough.
Background
Cough is generally caused by viral infection or mycoplasma, chlamydia infection. Research has shown that about 11% -25% of people suffer from subacute or even chronic cough, and in the epidemic season, the incidence rate of cough after infection can reach 25% -50%, so the disease is very common in pediatric respiratory diseases, and the incidence is in growing trend in recent years. However, the actual pathogenesis of cough after infection is still unclear, and satisfactory treatment is still lacked so far, so that doctors are easy to misdiagnose clinically or other complications are caused; although most children patients can be self-healed, the cough symptoms are stubborn and delayed in the process, and the physical and psychological health of the children patients is also seriously affected, so that unnecessary economic loss and psychological burden are caused, and therefore, the more effective method for treating the cough after the children are infected becomes urgent.
At present, according to the cough diagnosis and treatment guidelines (2009 edition) issued by the respiratory syndrome of the Chinese medical society, asthma group, β 2 receptor agonists (such as tylosin aerosol), glucocorticoid nebulization (such as dexamethasone and budesonide), antitussives (such as dextromethorphan) and the like are mostly selected for symptomatic treatment in western medicine, but the effect is not ideal, side effects such as sleepiness, dry mouth, nausea, constipation and the like may occur, few critically ill children need to inhale or take glucocorticoid to treat symptoms, but the symptoms can be relieved, and the symptoms are often repeated after the medicine is stopped, so that part of doctors unreasonably use antibiotics, which also becomes an important reason for the rise of bacterial drug resistance.
The traditional Chinese medicine has rich experience in treating cough and obvious advantages. Through retrieval, clinical research reports of treating post-infection cough by methods of dispelling wind, dispersing pathogen accumulation, freeing lung, relieving and strengthening body resistance and the like are common at present, but the research of the action mechanism of the traditional Chinese medicine aiming at the disease is rare, and the research of the action mechanism and the action target point still lacks experimental basis.
The invention relates to a formula which is distinguished from Jingyue quan Shu & cough and aims to overcome the defect that body fluid in lung is insufficient and withers and falls when cough happens, and the formula comprises radix stemonae, myrobalan, ephedra herb, cortex mori radicis, radix scutellariae, radix asteris, indigo naturalis, sea clam powder and cortex dictamni. In the formula, the stemona root is sweet, moist, bitter and descending, slightly warm and not dry, enters lung channels, has the effect of moistening lung to relieve cough, the myrobalan is sour, astringent and bitter, can lower energy, can astringe lung qi to relieve cough, can clear lung heat, relieve sore throat and produce sound, and the two medicines are used for moistening lung and astringing transverse reversed flow of liver qi; the ephedra herb is pungent, bitter and warm, has ascending and dispersing properties, the mulberry bark has sweet taste, is cold in nature and descends, can lower adverse qi in the lung and purge stagnated heat in the lung, and has the advantages of ascending, descending, immediate relief and moderate opening and closing; scutellariae radix, for clearing lung heat, eliminating phlegm, and relieving cough and asthma; natural indigo, for clearing liver fire and purging lung heat; haiha powder has the effects of lowering qi and reducing phlegm, and has the effects of moistening lung and reducing phlegm, clearing liver and relieving spasm, and lowering adverse qi and relieving cough with other medicines in a formula. However, the traditional decoction is time-consuming in decoction processing, bitter in taste, large in amount, inconvenient to take and poor in children compliance. Therefore, the invention starts with changing the formulation, improving the drug effect, enhancing the taste and the like, and develops the medicine terminalia fruit Qingjin granules which are convenient to take, safe and effective.

Example 5 Effect on airway inflammation in airway hyperresponsiveness rat
The purpose is as follows: observing the interference effect of the myrobalan qingjin granules on airway inflammation of the rat with airway hyperresponsiveness. The method comprises the following steps: randomly dividing 48 SD rats into a blank group, a model group, a dexamethasone group and a myrobalan gold-clearing granule low, medium and high dose groups, wherein each group comprises 8 rats; ovalbumin was used for sensitization, replicating the airway hyperreactivity rat model. Recording the total number and the classified count of the white blood cells in each group of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) according to the experimental plan for dry prognosis; detecting the content of interleukin-4 (IL-4), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF-alpha); and observing the pathological features of HE staining of lung tissues. As a result: the myrobalan Qingjin granules with high and medium dosage can obviously reduce the quantity of leucocytes, eosinophils (P is less than 0.001) and neutrophils (P is less than 0.05) in the BALF of the rat with high airway response, and reduce the inflammatory injury of lung tissues. Compared with the blank group, the model group has obviously increased IL-4, IL-6 and TNF-alpha levels (P < 0.001) and obviously reduced IFN-gamma levels (P < 0.001). The high-dose group can obviously reduce the expression of IL-4(P is less than 0.001), IL-6 and TNF-alpha (P is less than 0.01), and increase the level of IFN-gamma (P is less than 0.01), and the effect is equivalent to that of the nostoc; although the IL-4 and TNF-alpha levels in the medium and low dose groups are obviously lower than those in the model group, the difference has no statistical significance. And (4) conclusion: the fructus terminaliae billericae Qingjin granules can inhibit airway inflammatory reaction of rats with airway hyperresponsiveness, reduce airway hyperresponsiveness and have an obvious dose-effect relationship; this may be part of the mechanism of action for treating diseases with increased airway reactivity, such as cough after infection.
Specific experimental details can be found in published articles: mingxi et al, Bai He Qing jin granules influence on airway inflammation in rat with airway hyperresponsiveness, Sichuan TCM, 35 vol.6 th in 2017, page 52-55.
