Example 3 propagation of bamboo rats
The bamboo rats are raised and bred by adopting the social rearing ponds 1 and the ecological breeding plants 2 respectively constructed in the embodiments 1 and 2 and the forests communicated with the ecological breeding plants 2, and the specific method comprises the following steps:
firstly, domesticating the young mouse in a group:
young mice were housed in the colony raising ponds 1 constructed in example 1, each of which had an area of 9 square meters, according to the following procedure:
(1) young mice of 1.5-3 months old are placed in the group rearing ponds 1, 50 young mice are placed in each rearing pond, and male mice and female mice are separately reared in different rearing ponds to prevent the partially premature bamboo mice from mating to produce weak young animals at an inappropriate period.
(2) Feeding young mouse with coarse fiber material and concentrated feed, wherein the coarse fiber material is pennisetum hydridum or bamboo, and the concentrated feed is prepared by mixing chopped pennisetum hydridum or bamboo, corn flour, rice and wheat bran; crushing fresh pennisetum hydridum or bamboo with a crusher to obtain pennisetum hydridum pieces or bamboo pieces. The feeding amount of the concentrated feed is 20-30 g/bamboo rat, the bamboo rat is fed once a day (the concentrated feed is fed at evening), the whistle is blown to remind the bamboo rat before the concentrated feed is fed each time, and the bamboo rat can reach the concentrated feed feeding position from all places to take food when hearing the whistle sound; the coarse fiber material can be excessively put in, and pennisetum hydridum rods or bamboo rods are folded into small sections to be put into a rearing pond, so that the bamboo rats can eat the coarse fiber material, and the coarse fiber material can meet the requirement of the bamboo rats for bruxism playing. In southern areas, drinking water is not needed to be provided for bamboo rats independently, the moisture in the feed is enough to meet the moisture requirement of the bamboo rats, the urine volume of the bamboo rats is reduced, the odor of a feeding pond is reduced, and the cleaning frequency is reduced. Thus, the bamboo rats are raised in the raising pond for 3-4 months, so that the bamboo rats are gradually adapted to living in groups.
The living rearing pond 1 of the invention can simulate field life of the young mouse in the rearing pond, and can raise a large amount of young mice in the rearing pond, so that the young mouse gradually adapts to the living life, thereby preventing the death and injury caused by the frame construction during the subsequent breeding or the rearing in an open factory with a larger area, and laying a foundation for the large-scale artificial cultivation of factories.
Secondly, breeding the selected mice for independent breeding and feeding: after the bamboo rats are raised in the social raising pond 1 for 3-4 months, the bamboo rats can be sorted, strong and high in breeding potential are selected according to body shapes, shapes and sizes of genitals and placed in an outdoor bionic breeding unit for breeding, and the rest bamboo rats can be used as commercial meat rats to be raised (the commercial meat rats can be raised in a single area). A male mouse and a female mouse are placed in the culture pond of each bionic culture unit, and a whistle is blown to remind the bamboo rats before concentrated feed is put in each time. The breeding method of the breeding rats in the bionic breeding unit is carried out according to the prior patent application CN201510385187.6 of the applicant.
Thirdly, wild breeding of breeding rats: for the breeding mouse which can be successfully bred in the bionic breeding unit, after the young mouse grows to 40-60 days and is weaned, the young mouse is placed into the social breeding pond 1 to be bred according to the step of 'first, young mouse group culture and domestication', and the breeding mouse is placed into the ecological breeding factory 2 to be bred. Keeping the second door 2-8 of the ecological breeding factory 2 in an open state, enabling the breeding rats to freely enter and exit from the indoor factory and the outdoor forest, and throwing concentrated feed (about 30-40g for each plant, the concentrated feed is formed by crushing pennisetum hydridum or bamboo, corn flour, rice and wheat bran) indoors at regular time every evening. The bamboo rat is reminded of blowing whistle before putting in the concentrated feed, and through just adopting the mode of blowing whistle and reminding to get food from the young rat stage, the bamboo rat has adapted to the habit of hearing whistle back to eating the feed in the factory building, hears whistle bamboo rat and just gets back to indoor factory building from the woods and takes the feed, and the concentrated feed is put in once a day. In the forest area, excess pennisetum hydridum poles or bamboo poles are put for the bamboo rats to freely eat and to grind teeth for playing. The breeding rats can be holed in a forest to live, mate and breed, young rats grow in a breast-feeding mode through mother rats in the holes before weaning, when the young rats can move freely (about 2-3 months old, the young rats usually cannot go out of the holes and run around but stay in the holes before the young rats can take concentrated feed in the ecological breeding factory building 2 along with the mother rats, at the moment, according to the growth conditions of the young rats, the young rats capable of living independently are captured and placed into the colony breeding pond 1 to be bred in a colony culture mode, breeding is carried out from the beginning according to the method of the embodiment, and a new bamboo rat breeding cycle is entered. The breeding mouse returns to the forest for the next round of breeding.
According to the method, the wild degeneration of the bamboo rat can be prevented, the conception rate, the farrowing rate and the survival rate of the mother rat are improved, one mother rat can farrow for 2-3 years, the survival rate of the young rat can reach more than 95 percent and even 100 percent, and the bred bamboo rat has strong body and good quality and can bring good economic benefits for farmers.
