Cosmetic composition containing black bamboo extract for regulating skin temperature
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, and more particularly, to a cosmetic composition for regulating skin temperature, which contains a fermented extract of Phyllostachys nigra (Phyllostachys nigra) and Phyllostachys nigra juice (Phyllostachys nigra), and regulates skin temperature increased by external factors such as ultraviolet rays and IR rays, thereby preventing skin problems caused by the increase of skin temperature.
Description of the prior art
In general, cosmetics help to make human skin clean or beautiful and attractive, and help to protect the skin from the external harmful environment. These functions of the skin are deteriorated by various harmful environments (ultraviolet rays, increased radiation exposure, air pollution, stress, abnormal eating habits, etc.). The cosmetic reduces various skin problems caused by high Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), free radicals, peroxides, etc. caused by these harmful factors. In addition, cosmetics protect the skin from these harmful factors and also allow the skin to function normally. Factors affecting the skin include external factors such as ultraviolet rays, IR rays, and air pollution, and internal factors such as reactive oxygen species caused by pressure. In particular, external heat such as ultraviolet rays, IR rays, and the like may affect the skin, causing skin problems. In particular, when the temperature of the skin is increased due to ultraviolet rays, IR rays, or the like, the following problems may occur: various enzymes in the skin, such as matrix protease, are stimulated, phenomena such as redness or dryness of the skin are caused, and cells are damaged. To maintain skin health, these extrinsic and intrinsic factors need to be removed.
In the prior art, compositions having properties of regulating the temperature of the skin when applied to the skin are known. Korean patent laid-open No. 10-784238B discloses a cosmetic composition for skin cooling comprising 30-80 wt% of an undiluted aerosol and 20-60 wt% of an aerosol spray, based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the undiluted aerosol contains a water-soluble polymer, wherein the water-soluble polymer is one or more selected from the group consisting of carbomer, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, hydroxypropylguar gum and xanthan gum. Korean patent application laid-open No. 10-2010-84165A discloses a cooling composition for skin, comprising: a thermo-responsive polymer comprising an interpenetrating polymer network that is liquid at about room Temperature and solid at a Temperature greater than about the Core Body Temperature (Core Body Temperature), and comprising chitosan or a hydrogel; and at least one additional cooling component.
Korean patent laid-open No. 10-784238B discloses a cosmetic composition for skin cooling, which is configured such that spray contents form a gel, which reduces the evaporation rate of cooling gas, thereby cooling the skin. Korean patent application laid-open No. 10-2010-84165A discloses a cosmetic composition for skin cooling, which is configured such that it undergoes a phase change when it undergoes hot flashes, high heat, exposure to a very hot environment, body movement, etc., so that the skin feels cold or cold.
In addition, korean patent laid-open publication No. 10-1273698B discloses a cosmetic composition for regulating skin temperature, which comprises Schizandra chinensis (Schizandra chinensis) extract and bamboo juice, and a cosmetic method.

The present inventors have found that a cosmetic composition comprising black bamboo inhibits an increase in skin temperature due to ultraviolet rays, IR rays, etc., thereby completing the present invention.
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for regulating skin temperature, comprising a fermented extract of black bamboo and a juice of black bamboo in a weight ratio of 5:1 to 1:5, wherein the fermented extract of black bamboo is an extract obtained by fermenting black bamboo with saccharomyces cerevisiae (saccharomyces cerevisiae).
Preferably, the content of the fermented extract of the black bamboo is 0.0001-30.0 wt% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.
Preferably, the cosmetic composition is a formulation selected from the group consisting of: solutions, suspensions, emulsions, pastes, gels, creams, lotions (deposition), powders, soaps, cleansing formulations, oils, powder foundations (powder foundation), emulsion foundations (emulsion foundation), wax foundations (wax foundation), peel masks (pack), massage creams and sprays.
Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in detail below.
The cosmetic composition according to the present invention is a cosmetic composition for regulating skin temperature, comprising a black bamboo extract containing components derived from black bamboo as an active ingredient. Preferably, it may be a cosmetic composition containing a mixture of a fermented extract of the black bamboo and a juice of the black bamboo.
Preferably, the content of the fermented extract of the black bamboo is 0.0001-30.0 wt% based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.
The black bamboo extract in the composition of the present invention plays a role in inhibiting heat-induced skin aging by inhibiting skin temperature from being increased by ultraviolet rays, IR rays, etc. This is the first attempt in the world and is a major feature of the present invention.
The black bamboo used in the present invention is a evergreen broad-leaved tree belonging to the family gramineae, and is called black bamboo because the stem is black in color. The black bamboo grows to 2-10m high and has dark skin. The leaves are in the shape of a scalpeloid, and the tail end of each branch comprises five leaves, the length of each leaf is 6-10cm, and the width of each leaf is 10-15 mm. The black bamboo blooms in 6 and 7 months, and fruits in autumn. Other general features are the same as bamboo. At one year of bamboo age, purple bamboo is green, similar to black bamboo, but when the bamboo age is two years or more, it changes from dark purple to dark.
As used herein, the term "extract of black bamboo" refers to an extract obtained by extraction from various organs or parts (e.g., leaves, branches, flowers, roots, stems, etc.) of black bamboo. Preferably, it is an extract from the whole plant of the black bamboo or black bamboo root. Most preferably, it is an extract obtained from the whole plant.
The black bamboo extract according to the present invention may comprise an extract subjected to a fermentation process. The fermented extract of the black bamboo can be prepared in the following manner. Pulverizing the Phyllostachys Pubescens to about 100-500 mesh, adding conventional microorganism culture medium with concentration of 1-50g/L, and adding microorganism such as yeast strain or lactobacillus strain, preferably Saccharomyces cerevisiae, in an amount of 10,000-100,000 cfu/L. The microorganisms are cultured under conventional microbial culture conditions at a temperature of 30 to 37 ℃. In addition, the culture is carried out under conventional aerobic or anaerobic conditions at a pH of 5 to 7 for about 5 to 10 days. Next, the resulting fermented extract may be matured and filtered.
According to the present invention, the content of the fermented extract of the black bamboo is preferably 0.0001 to 30.0% by weight, more preferably 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. If the content of the fermented extract is less than 0.0001 wt%, it does not exhibit an effect of improving skin conditions, and if it is more than 30 wt%, it has no significant effect on the improvement of skin conditions, which causes problems in terms of safety and stability of the formulation, and is not cost-effective.
The preferred content of the purple bamboo juice is 0.0001-30.0 wt%, more preferably 0.01-10 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition. If the content of the purple bamboo juice is less than 0.0001 wt%, the effect of improving the skin condition is not exhibited, and if the content is more than 30 wt%, there is no significant effect of improving the skin condition, causing problems in safety and stability of the formulation, and being not cost-effective.
The mixing ratio (weight ratio) between the fermented extract of the black bamboo and the black bamboo juice may be 5:1 to 1:5, preferably 3:1 to 1:3, more preferably 1: 1. If the fermented extract of the black bamboo and the black bamboo juice are used in a weight ratio outside the range of 5:1 to 1:5, they cannot exhibit a synergistic effect obtained by mixing the two components, such as when the two components are used separately.
Therefore, the cosmetic composition of the present invention containing the black bamboo extract having the above-mentioned various functions can have excellent effects on promotion of collagen synthesis, inhibition of MMP-1 production, antioxidation, reduction of skin wrinkles, improvement of skin elasticity, skin whitening, inhibition of melanin production, preservation, moisturizing and skin aging resistance.

Preparation example 1: preparation of solvent extract of Phyllostachys nigra
100 g of the whole plant of Phyllostachys nigra was cut into fine pieces and dried in the shade, and extracted under reflux with 70% (V/V) aqueous ethanol for 5 hours 3 times. The extract was macerated (macerated) and filtered through Whatman #4 filter paper. The filtered extract was concentrated under reduced pressure at 50 ℃ or lower and freeze-dried to obtain 14.6 g of a solvent extract of black bamboo.
Preparation example 2: preparation of fermented extract of Phyllostachys nigra
100 g of the whole plant of Phyllostachys nigra was cut into fine pieces and dried in the shade, and extracted under reflux with 70% (V/V) aqueous ethanol for 5 hours 3 times. The extract was macerated and filtered through Whatman #4 filter paper. Concentrating the filtered extract under reduced pressure at 50 deg.C or lower and freeze-drying to obtain the extract of Phyllostachys nigra. YPD medium (1% yeast extract, 2% polypeptone, 2% D-glucose/1L H2O) was used as the microorganism medium, to which 1-30 wt%, preferably 10 wt% of the extract of Phyllostachys nigra was added. 100,000-10,000,000 cells/ml of Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATCC18824 was inoculated into the medium and then cultured at 30-37 ℃ for 12-72 hours.
After the culture, the medium was centrifuged to remove microbial cells, and then ethanol was added to the remaining fermented black bamboo to a final concentration of 70% (v/v). The fermented purple bamboo was then extracted under reflux three times for 5 hours each, macerated and subsequently filtered through Whatman #4 filter paper. After filtration, the fermented extract was filtered again through 0.25um filter paper. Then, concentrated under reduced pressure at a temperature of 600 ℃ and freeze-dried, thereby obtaining 7.8g of a fermented extract of the black bamboo.
Preparation example 3: preparing purple bamboo juice
Cutting the first or second joint from the root of the black bamboo and tightly connecting the pipe to the cut portion. Through the connected tubes, the juice is collected from the roots. Immediately after collection, the juice was passed through a filtration membrane having a pore size of 0.25 μm, thereby obtaining a purple bamboo juice.
Preparation examples 4 to 8: preparing mixture of fermented extract of Phyllostachys nigra and Phyllostachys nigra juice
The fermented extract of the black bamboo prepared in preparation example 2 and the black bamboo juice prepared in preparation example 3 were mixed with each other in a weight ratio of 1:1, 5:1, 3:1, 1:3 and 1:5 to prepare a mixture of preparation examples 4 to 8.
Experimental example 1: the extract of Phyllostachys nigra has effect on protecting cells from heat
Human normal fibroblasts were cultured at 1X 105The density of individual cells/well was seeded in 6-well plates and then cultured for 24 hours. After incubation, the medium was discarded and each well was treated with 1% (w/v) diluted sample each obtained by dissolving the sample in 30% 1, 3-butanediol. Next, the cells were stimulated with heat by Infrared (IR) radiation and then incubated for 24 hours. After incubation, the viability of the cells in each well was determined by MTT assay, the results of which are shown in table 1 below.
TABLE 1
Figure BDA0001174551430000071
As can be seen from table 1 above, when the cells were irradiated with IR light, the viability of the cells decreased rapidly due to cell death, but when the cells were treated with each of preparation examples 1 to 8 together with the IR irradiation, the viability of the cells increased due to decreased cell death. This indicates that the black bamboo extract and the black bamboo juice have the effect of protecting cells from IR radiation. In particular, it can be seen that preparation examples 4 to 8, which were prepared by mixing the fermented extract of black bamboo with black bamboo juice, exhibited very high cell viability.
