背景技术
以往,汽车用线束的电线与端子的连接通常采用使用被称为开口筒型的端子铆接压接电线的压接接合。但是,在这样的线束中,当水分附着于电线与端子的连接部分时,进行电线所使用的金属表面的氧化,接合部的阻抗增加。并且,在电线和端子所使用的金属不同的情况下,进行异种金属间腐蚀。该连接部分的金属材料的腐蚀的进行成为连接部分的破裂和接触不良的原因,无法避免对产品寿命的影响。尤其近年来,随着使电线为铝合金且使端子为铜合金的线束已经投入实用,接合部的腐蚀的课题变得显著。
这里,例如当水分附着于铝和铜那样的异种金属的接触部分时,由于腐蚀电位的不同,因此有可能产生所谓的电腐蚀。尤其,由于铝与铜的电位差较大,因此进行电气上为低位的铝侧的腐蚀。因此,导线与压接端子的连接状态变得不稳定,有可能产生由于接触阻抗的增加或线径的减小引起的电阻的增大,进而产生断路从而导致电装部件的错误动作、功能停止。
在这样的异种金属接触的线束中,例如提出有如下的方法:使用具有一端封闭型的筒状压接部的端子,在将电线的端部插入到该筒状压接部内后,通过铆接加工对该筒状压接部进行压接,从而保护芯线端部远离雨水或海水等的附着(专利文献1)。

但是,在像专利文献1那样对压接部的端部进行密封后,尤其如果高温保持后的密合性不充分,则在用于汽车等时,水有可能从压接部浸入。
本发明是鉴于这样的问题而完成的,其目的在于,提供能够确保高防水性的带端子的电线等。
用于解决课题的手段
为了达成上述的目的,第一发明是包覆导线与端子连接而成的带端子的电线,该带端子的电线的特征在于,所述端子具有端子主体和压接所述包覆导线的压接部,所述压接部是一方封闭的筒状,具有包覆压接部和导体压接部,该包覆压接部压接包覆部,该导体压接部压接从所述包覆部露出的导线,构成所述包覆部的树脂在120℃高温放置120小时后的收缩率为7%以下。
所述包覆压接部的压缩率优选为80%以下。
也可以是,所述包覆压接部具有凸条部,该凸条部向所述包覆压接部的内表面突出并且在周向上呈环状设置,在所述凸条部的外周面上形成有与所述凸条部对应的凹槽。
所述凸条部可以在所述包覆压接部的长度方向上分开设置有多个。
根据第一发明,即使在保持高温时,收缩率也在规定值以下,因此能够确保压缩力。因此,在高温时也维持了包覆部与端子之间的密合力。因此,能够防止水分从压接端子与包覆部的间隙浸入端子内并附着于电线与端子的接触部。
并且,在包覆压接部的压缩率超过80%的情况下,很难确保压接时的高压缩力,从而很难在保持高温时维持规定以上的压缩力。因此,在本发明中,压缩率优选为80%以下。
并且,通过在绝缘包覆部的周向上呈环状设置向包覆压接部的内表面突出的凸条部,而能够在其周向整个区域可靠地确保水密性。
并且,通过在长度方向上设置多个凸条部,能够更进一步确保水密性。
第二发明是线束结构体,该线束结构体的特征在于,所述线束结构体是将多个第一发明的带端子的电线捆束而成的。
在本发明中,也能够捆束多个带端子的电线进行使用。
发明效果
根据本发明,能够提供能够确保高防水性的带端子的电线等。

具体实施方式
图1是示出本发明的带端子的电线10的立体图,图2是带端子的电线10的轴向剖视图。带端子的电线10是压接端子1和包覆导线23而构成的。
包覆导线23是导线25被绝缘性的包覆部27包覆而构成的。导线25例如是铝系材料制的。在将包覆导线23向端子1的压接部5插入时,先剥离包覆导线23的前端的一部分的包覆部27以使导线25露出。另外,作为包覆部27,能够选择聚氯乙烯(PVC)、聚乙烯等该技术领域中普遍使用的材料。
端子1是铜制的,由端子主体3和压接部5构成,在该压接部5处压接有包覆导线23。端子主体3是将规定的形状的板状坯料形成为截面为矩形的筒体而得到的。端子主体3在前端部17具有弹性接触片15,该弹性接触片15是将板状坯料折入矩形的筒体内而形成的。端子主体3供凸端子等从前端部17插入连接。
压接部5是通过板状坯料被卷起成为截面为圆形的筒体,使板状坯料的侧缘部彼此对合并在接合部21处接合成为一体而形成的。包覆导线23从形成为筒状的压接部5的后端部19插入。并且,在压接部5的前端部(端子主体3侧)设置有密封部11。即,压接部5为一方封闭的大致筒状,除了供包覆导线插入的后端部19之外的其他部位被密封。另外,接合部21和密封部11例如通过激光焊接等而被焊接。
压接部5由包覆压接部9和导体压接部7构成,该包覆压接部9压接包覆导线23的包覆部27,该导体压接部7压接包覆导线23的前端部分的被去除了包覆部27而露出导线25的部位。
如上所述,包覆导线23的包覆部27例如能够使用聚氯乙烯制或无卤素部件,并且根据需要而配合有增塑剂、填充材料、稳定剂等。
作为构成本发明的包覆部27的树脂,使用在120℃高温放置120小时后的收缩率为7%以下的树脂。图3是示出收缩率的定义方法的图。从包覆导线23的前端取样20mm左右的包覆部27,在仅采用包覆部27的状态下,设加热前(图中A)的长度为L0,设在120℃高温放置120小时后(图中B)的长度为L1。此时,将(L0-L1)/L0定义为收缩率。
另外,为了调整包覆部27的收缩率,例如,只要调整向包覆部27中添加的增塑剂的材料和配合量即可。作为增塑剂,例如使用邻苯二甲酸系、己二酸系、磷酸系、偏苯三酸系的材料即可。
在本发明中,能够使用收缩率为7%以下的材料。当收缩率超过7%时,在加热后,包覆部27相对于包覆压接部9内表面的压缩力降低。当无法确保期望的压缩力时,也无法充分确保包覆部27与包覆压接部9的密合力,从而水有可能浸入。另外,关于各种增塑剂的添加量,在预先对添加量与收缩率的关系进行了评价的基础上进行适当确定使得收缩率为7%以下即可。
另外,收缩率的下限没有特别限定,但如果考虑制造性等,则优选使用在120℃高温放置120小时后的收缩率为2%以上的材料。
图4是示出树脂在高温时的压缩力的变化的图。图4的曲线C、D、E分别是施加了包覆压接部处的压缩率相当于50%的位移量、包覆压接部处的压缩率相当于80%的位移量、包覆压接部处的压缩率相当于90%的位移量。对树脂试验片施加规定的位移以达到各个压缩率,测定此时的反作用力。将取得的反作用力的变化作为压缩力的变化。
如图4所示,在压缩率小(压缩量大)的情况(曲线C)下,在高温保持后也能够维持足够的压缩力。另一方面,在压缩率大(压缩量小)的情况(曲线D、E)下,压缩力低,尤其曲线E变为95kPa以下。这低于后述的泄漏试验的合格线,水有可能浸入。因此,作为压缩率,优选为80%以下。另外,即使在压缩率超过80%的情况下,只要能够确保95kPa以上的压缩率,压缩率也可以为80%以上。但是,为了确保包覆部27与包覆压接部9的密合力,最低限度下,压缩率也需要为90%以下。
并且,压缩率的下限没有特别限制,但由于存在包覆部27的压碎和断裂的可能,因此压缩率优选为50%以上。
这里,设压接前的包覆部27处的包覆导线23的总截面积为A0,设压接后的包覆压接部9的内部的总截面积为A1,则A1/A0为压缩率。
接下来,对形成带端子的电线的工序进行说明。图5是示出向端子1中插入包覆导线23之前的状态的分解立体图。首先,如图5所示,去除包覆导线23的前端的规定长度的包覆部27而使导线25露出。接着,将包覆导线23插入到筒状的压接部5中。此时,导线25的露出部位于导体压接部7的内部,包覆部27位于包覆压接部9的内部。
另外,如上所述,压接部5被卷成大致筒状,缘部彼此在接合部21处接合。并且,在压接部5的前端部(端子主体3侧)设置有密封部11。即,压接部5的除了供包覆导线23插入的后端部19之外的部分被密封。
图6(a)是示出压接前的模具31a、31b等的剖视图,图6(b)是示出压接中的压接部5的剖视图。模具31a具有在长度方向上延伸的半圆柱状的空洞,并且具有大径部34和小径部32,该大径部34与包覆压接部9对应并且具有比包覆压接部9的半径稍小的半径,该小径部32与导体压接部7对应并且具有小于大径部34的半径。模具31b具有在长度方向上延伸的半圆柱状的空洞,与模具31a同样地,与导体压接部7和包覆压接部9对应的部位的半径不同。大径部34是压接包覆压接部9的部位,小径部32是压接导体压接部7的部位。
如图6(b)所示,当使模具31a、31b啮合来压缩压接部5时,压接部5与导线25和包覆部27压接起来。通过以上内容,制造了带端子的电线10。
这里,本发明的带端子的电线10例如用于汽车等。因此,例如有时在发动机室内等处带端子的电线10暴露于高温下。因此,在用于这样的用途的情况下,在高温使用中也需要维持水密性。
为了经得住这样的高温使用,例如,需要在120℃高温放置120小时后也维持水密性。但是,如果构成包覆部27的树脂的收缩率较大,则如上所述很难维持高温保持后的足够的压缩力。即,存在如下的情况:包覆部27处产生的应力松弛,包覆部27与包覆压接部9的密合力降低,从而无法确保期望的水密性。
另一方面,如上所述,通过减小压接时的压缩率,即使高温时的应力松弛,也能够维持所需的压缩力。但是,例如在包覆部27由坚硬的树脂构成的情况或包覆部27的厚度较薄的情况下,有时很难使压缩率足够小。因此,需要使包覆部27的压接用的压缩率比较大。在该情况下,有可能由于因包覆部27的收缩引起的应力松弛而导致压缩力立刻低于期望的压缩力。
与此相对,即便压缩率较大,只要使包覆部27与包覆压接部9可靠地密合,也能够确保水密性。即,能够借助包覆压接部9的内表面与包覆部27的外表面的密合对压接部5进行密封。此时,由于压接部5的除了后端部19之外的其他部位借助接合部21和密封部11被水密地密封,因此能够防止水分浸入压接部5。
在本发明中,通过将包覆部27的收缩率设为适当的范围,能够抑制这样的应力松弛的影响。例如即使在压缩率为80%左右的压缩率比较高的情况下,也能够抑制由高温保持引起的压缩力的降低,从而确保所需的水密性。
以上,通过像本实施方式那样适当设定构成包覆部27的树脂的收缩率,能够制造防水性优异的带端子的电线10。例如,即使在压缩率比较大的情况下的高温保持后也能够维持压缩力。
<第二实施方式>
接着,对第二实施方式进行说明。图7(a)、图7(b)是示出第二实施方式的压接工序的图,图7(a)是示出压接前的模具35a、35b等的剖视图,图7(b)是示出压接中的压接部5的剖视图。另外,在以下的说明中,对与第一实施方式相同的结构标注与图6(a)、图6(b)等相同的标号,省略重复的说明。
第二实施方式是与第一实施方式大致相同的结构,但在以下的点不同:通过压接工序在包覆压接部9上形成凸条部39。
在模具35a、35b上分别形成有向内表面突出的凸部37。凸部37在模具35a、35b的内周面上在周向上连续。即,在使模具35a、35b合在一起的状态下,凸部37在模具35a、35b的内周方向上呈环状连续。在包覆压接部9的外周面上,与模具35a、35b的凸部37对应的部位被强力压入。因此,在包覆压接部9的内周面上,在与模具35a、35b的凸部37对应的部位形成有向径向内侧突出的凸条部39。即,在包覆压接部9的凸条部39的外周面上形成有与凸条部39对应的凹槽。
凸条部39是与其他部位相比缩径的部位。另外,凸条部39的配置数量无需像图示那样为两处,只要为至少一处即可。但是,为了提高防水性,凸条部39优选在两处以上分开形成。
这样,通过在包覆压接部9上在周向上设置环状的凸条部39,借助凸条部39使包覆部27的一部分以比其他部分强的力被压接,从而能够形成高压接部。因此,能够确保更高的防水性。
根据第二实施方式,能够得到与第一实施方式相同的效果。并且,能够通过凸条部39而确保更高的防水性。并且,通过在压接工序中形成凸条部39,凸条部不会在插入包覆导线23时成为阻碍。
实施例
首先,使加热试验后的带端子的电线的包覆导线侧为负压,对有无漏水进行了评价。在图8中示出评价方法的概要。评价是:将压接了包覆导线23的端子1放入盛有水的水槽41中,将长度150mm的包覆导线23的端部插入到容器45内,通过泵47使容器45内为-30kPa的负压并保持10分钟。
使提供给试验的各带端子的电线的压缩率在40%~90%的范围改变。并且,改变包覆导线23的包覆部27的材质、厚度、加热条件等,从而改变包覆收缩率。预先通过图3所示的方法,求出各种加热条件下的包覆部27的收缩率。另外,为了改变收缩率,使一部分的试样的加热条件为在120℃以上的温度下高温放置了120小时而不是在120℃。即,也使用了增大了收缩率的试样。在各个条件下,对n=10的试样进行了评价。在表1中示出结果。

表中的“完美”表示100%合格,“良好”表示80%~90%合格,“一般”表示50%~70%合格,“差”表示小于50%的合格。并且,关于凸条部,对具有图7(b)所示的凸条部39和不具有图7(b)所示的凸条部39的试样进行了评价。
确认了压缩率为40%的试样的一部分包覆破裂。在压缩率为50%~85%的范围中,不论有无凸条部,在包覆收缩率为2%~7%的试样中,评价全部为“完美”。与此相对,在没有凸条部的试样中,包覆收缩率超过7%的试样的合格率为70%以下。
接着,作为更严格的试验,进行了加热试验后的带端子的电线的漏气试验。首先,从包覆导线的包覆部朝向端子输送空气,对空气是否从后端部泄漏进行了评价。在图9中示出评价方法的概要。评价是:将压接了包覆导线23的端子1放入盛有水的水槽41中,通过调节器43从长度150mm的包覆导线23的端部朝向端子1输送一分钟的加压空气(30kPa)。
提供给试验的各带端子的电线与上述的负压试验相同。在表2中示出结果。

确认了压缩率为40%的试样的一部分包覆破裂。在具有凸条部的情况下,在压缩率为50%~85%的范围中,在包覆收缩率为2%~7%的试样中,所有评价都是“良好”,而在没有凸条部的情况下,在压缩率为50%~60%的范围中,在包覆收缩率为2%~7%的试样中,所有评价都是“良好”。与此相对,包覆收缩率超过7%的试样的合格率为70%以下。
以上,一边参照附图一边对本发明的实施方式进行了说明,但本发明的技术范围不被上述的实施方式左右。可以明确,本领域的技术人员能够在权利要求书所记载的技术思想的范围内想到各种变更例或修正例,这些当然也属于本发明的技术范围。
例如,在实施例中记载了电线使用铝的情况,但不限于此,也可以使用铜作电线。
并且,也能够捆束多个本发明的带端子的电线进行使用。在本发明中,将这样捆束了多个带端子的电线的结构体称为线束结构体。

Claims (5)
1.一种带端子的电线,所述带端子的电线是包覆导线与端子连接而成的,该带端子的电线的特征在于,
所述端子具有端子主体和压接所述包覆导线的压接部,
所述压接部是一方封闭的筒状,具有包覆压接部和导体压接部,该包覆压接部压接包覆部,该导体压接部压接从所述包覆部露出的导线,
构成所述包覆部的树脂在120℃高温放置120小时后的收缩率为7%以下。
2.根据权利要求1所述的带端子的电线,其特征在于,
所述包覆压接部的压缩率为80%以下。
3.根据权利要求1所述的带端子的电线,其特征在于,
所述包覆压接部具有凸条部,该凸条部向所述包覆压接部的内表面突出并且在周向上呈环状设置,
在所述凸条部的外周面上形成有与所述凸条部对应的凹槽。
4.根据权利要求3所述的带端子的电线,其特征在于,
所述凸条部在所述包覆压接部的长度方向上分开设置有多个。
5.一种线束结构体,其特征在于,
该线束结构体是将多个权利要求1至4中的任一项所述的带端子的电线捆束而成的。
