Abstract

Description

用于小型无线通信装置的机壳
本发明涉及一种无线通信装置,特别涉及一种小型天线通信装置的机壳。
当制造商减小无线通信装置的尺寸时,必须在装置中找到新的部位来安装它的零件。图1示出一台典型的无线电。与大多数无线电一样,这台无线电需要一个装在机壳102中的可活动的天线零件101,它可穿过机壳102伸出。这根天线101长度可以是固定的,也可以是伸缩式的,长度由使用者调节。
为防止射频发射从无线电或它的某一部分漏泄,大多数无线电需要在安装电子元件用的印刷电路板110和115或基板四周使用屏蔽105和108。这些射频(RF)发射会影响该无线电内的其他电路或干扰该无线电外的电路。然而,用了屏蔽105和108就难以减小无线电的尺寸,这是由于屏蔽需要较大的体积并且必须与无线电的其余部分密封隔离才能有效地屏蔽。这就不能为了把天线从图1所示的部位移开从减小无线电的宽度而将天线穿过屏蔽安装。由此需要找到一种在无线电或无线电话中安装天线的方法,它既能减小所需的体积又能保持屏蔽的完整性。
本发明提供一种用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,它具有大体上沿机壳的长度延伸的细长的天线零件、第一电子元件安装板和第二电子元件安装板,其中,该机壳还包括:
与第一电子元件安装板相连的第一框形结构,第一框形结构是导电的,具有屏蔽第一电子元件安装板的功能,并且在其第一边有一细长的凹人部;以及
与第二电子元件安装板相连的第二框形结构,第二框形结构是导电的,具有屏蔽第二电子元件安装板的功能,并且在其第一边有一细长的凹人部,其中
把第二框形结构与第一框形结构相连,从而第二框形结构的第一边与第一框形结构的第一边大体上平行,并且第二框形结构的凹入部与第一框形结构的凹入部合并而构成一条大体上沿第一和第二电子元件安装板的长度延伸的细长的通道,而细长的天线零件就安装在该通道内,并且大体上在第一和第二电子元件安装板之间。
图1示出典型的现有技术的有天线零件的无线电的剖视图。
图2是本发明的无线电话的透视图。
图3示出本发明的无线电话的内部印刷电路板。
图4示出按照本发明的无线电话的剖视图,图中示出了相对于屏蔽天线零件座。
在较佳实施例中,本发明的无线电装置是一可在蜂窝式无线电话场合下工作的无线电话。此无线电话示于图2。在较佳实施例中,此无线电话具有如图3所示的二块印刷电路板301和305。二块印刷电路板中的一块包含了数字电路301而另一块包含了射频(RF)电路305。这二块板通过接插件320和321相耦合。
二块板301和305上的元件发射的信号可能干扰另一块板上的线路。因此,需用屏蔽310和315包围这二块板301和305上的线路。把屏蔽310和315与无线电话的地电势相连,由此防止外来的发射影响印刷电路板301和305上电路。
当通过接插件320和321连接二块印刷电路板时,用一块金属屏蔽盖330隔开这二块电路板的屏蔽框310和315。盖330在RF电路板的屏蔽315上隔出小室。屏蔽盖330在适当的部位开有孔325和326,以允许接插件穿过。在较佳实施例中,RF板305上还有一个支座331穿过屏蔽盖330和数字板301,在把这二块板连至无线电话的机壳时,该支座帮助在机械上支撑这二块板。在另一实施例中,用具有金属化导电涂覆层的塑料制作屏蔽盖330。
为了减小无线电话机壳的宽度,把天线零件装在屏蔽内形成的通道中。图4示出了无线电话的一截面,该无线电话有二块印刷电路板301和305和它们各自的屏蔽310和315。每个屏蔽在它的一边有一凹入部或梯级401和402。当二块印刷电路板301和305以接插件相连时,每个屏蔽401和402的凹入部与另一个屏蔽的凹入部相配。这二个凹入部合在一起构成了沿印刷电路板301和305长度延伸的通道。在另一实施例中,通道只沿印刷电路板长度的一部分延伸。
天线零件420通过一导电触头360与RF板305相耦合,如图3和4所示。触头360将天线420耦合至RF电路。这样,可以把天线420接收到的信号送至无线电话的接收部分,而把要发射的信号由发射放大器送至天线420以供辐射。
在较佳实施例中,把天线直接装至天线触头360。在另一些实施例中,把天线装在无线电话的机壳的通道中,而由触头360把天线零件耦合至印刷电路板。
本发明的无线电提供了一种天线安装方法,它可以将天线零件装在无线电话的电路板之间。这样做可以减小无线电话的宽度,从而可以做出更小的无线电话。本发明也允许在每块印刷电路板的梯级下面安装零部件,不致让宝贵的电路板空间被天线浪费掉。

Claims (10)

1.一种用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,具有大体上沿所述机壳的长度延伸的细长的天线零件、第一电子元件安装板和第二电子元件安装板,其特征在于,所述机壳还包括:
与所述第一电子元件安装板相连的第一框形结构,所述第一框形结构是导电的,具有屏蔽所述第一电子元件安装板的功能,并且在其第一边有一细长的凹入部;以及
与所述第二电子元件安装板相连的第二框形结构,所述第二框形结构是导电的,具有屏蔽所述第二电子元件安装板的功能,并且在其第一边有一细长的凹入部,其中
把所述第二框形结构与所述第一框形结构相连,从而所述第二框形结构的第一边与所述第一框形结构的第一边大体上平行,并且所述第二框形结构的凹入部与所述第一框形结构的凹入部合并而构成一条大体上沿所述第一和第二电子元件安装板的长度延伸的细长的通道,而所述细长的天线零件就安装在所述通道内,并且大体上在所述第一和第二电子元件安装板之间。
2.如权利要求1所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述小型无线通信装置是无线电话。
3.如权利要求1所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述第一和第二电子元件安装板是基板。
4.如权利要求1所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述第一和第二电子元件安装板是印刷电路板。
5.如权利要求1所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述第一和第二框形结构由导电材料构成。
6.如权利要求1所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述第一和第二框形结构用导电材料涂覆。
7.如权利要求1所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述细长的天线零件通过导电触头与所述电子元件安装板之一相连。
8.如权利要求1所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述机壳还包括一个置于所述第一和第二框形结构之间的屏蔽盖,所述屏蔽盖具有屏蔽所述第一和第二电子元件安装板的功能。
9.如权利要求8所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述屏蔽盖用金属制成。
10.如权利要求8所述的用于小型无线通信装置的机壳,其特征在于,所述屏蔽盖用具有金属化导电涂覆层的塑料制成。
