Abstract
本发明公开了一种涂料用疏水型纳米二氧化硅的制备方法,涉及纳米材料技术领域,以水玻璃和浓盐酸为原料,制得纳米二氧化硅,再利用氢化松香、巴西棕榈蜡和羟基硅油对其进行化学改性,制得疏水型纳米二氧化硅,粒度达到20‑30nm。本发明所制疏水型纳米二氧化硅能够应用到粉末涂料和溶剂型涂料中,增强涂料的自由流动性,防止结块,改善涂料的触变性和防沉性,也可作为沉降剂来提高颜料的稳定性,并增加涂料的防腐效果。

技术领域:
本发明涉及纳米材料技术领域,具体涉及一种涂料用疏水型纳米二氧化硅的制备方法。
背景技术:
纳米二氧化硅由于其独特的物理化学性质,而被广泛应用于橡胶、塑料、涂料、油墨、胶粘剂、化妆品、医药和农药等领域。但在实际应用中,纯纳米二氧化硅表面没有活性中心,同时仅仅依靠纳米二氧化硅的自身性能远远不能满足应用要求,因此对其进行表面和结构修饰使其具有特殊的理化性质,以满足某些特定的用途。针对这一情况,本公司利用化学修饰手段对纳米二氧化硅进行改性,可获得疏水型纳米二氧化硅,以添加到涂料的制备中,不仅能够增强粉末涂料的自由流动性,防止结块;还能提高溶剂型涂料的附着力、耐磨性和耐候性等,从而扩大所制涂料的使用范围。
发明内容:
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种粒度分布窄、疏水性好且利于提高涂层使用性能的涂料用疏水型纳米二氧化硅的制备方法。
本发明所要解决的技术问题采用以下的技术方案来实现:
一种涂料用疏水型纳米二氧化硅的制备方法,包括如下步骤:
(1)搅拌下向质量浓度40%的水玻璃溶液中滴加浓盐酸,控制溶液pH值在5-6,再于微波频率2450MHz、功率700W下微波处理10min,然后自然冷却至50-60℃,保温2h后继续微波处理10min,所得混合溶液于0-5℃下静置过夜,过滤,滤渣水洗三次,最后于100-110℃下干燥5h,即得中间体I;
(2)将中间体I研磨成粉末,再加入氢化松香,研磨30min后向混合粉末中加入异丙醇,充分混合后于微波频率2450MHz、功率700W下微波处理10min,即得中间体II;
(3)向中间体II中加入巴西棕榈蜡和羟基硅油,混合均匀后加热至回流状态保温1h,保温结束后在冰水浴下以5℃/min降温,直至温度降至-5℃,再在-5℃下保温3h,然后过滤,所得滤渣于80-90℃下干燥3h,最后于500-550℃下煅烧3h即可。
所述水玻璃、氢化松香、巴西棕榈蜡、异丙醇和羟基硅油的用量比为1:0.05:0.02:3:0.02。
本发明的有益效果是:
(1)本发明以水玻璃和浓盐酸为原料,制得纳米二氧化硅,再利用氢化松香、巴西棕榈蜡和羟基硅油对其进行化学改性,制得疏水型纳米二氧化硅,粒度达到20-30nm;
(2)将所制疏水型纳米二氧化硅应用到粉末涂料中,能够增强涂料的自由流动性,防止结块,并且能显著提高上粉率;
(3)将所制疏水型纳米二氧化硅应用到溶剂型涂料中,能够改善涂料的触变性和防沉性,对涂料的表面光洁度、附着力等性能有很大提高,也可作为沉降剂来提高颜料的稳定性,并增加涂料的防腐效果。
具体实施方式:
为了使本发明实现的技术手段、创作特征、达成目的与功效易于明白了解,下面结合具体实施例,进一步阐述本发明。
实施例1
(1)搅拌下向质量浓度40%的水玻璃溶液(以10g水玻璃加水配制而成)中滴加浓盐酸,控制溶液pH值在5-6,再于微波频率2450MHz、功率700W下微波处理10min,然后自然冷却至50-60℃,保温2h后继续微波处理10min,所得混合溶液于0-5℃下静置过夜,过滤,滤渣水洗三次,最后于100-110℃下干燥5h,即得中间体I;
(2)将中间体I研磨成粉末,再加入0.5g氢化松香,研磨30min后向混合粉末中加入30g异丙醇,充分混合后于微波频率2450MHz、功率700W下微波处理10min,即得中间体II;
(3)向中间体II中加入0.2g巴西棕榈蜡和0.2g羟基硅油,混合均匀后加热至回流状态保温1h,保温结束后在冰水浴下以5℃/min降温,直至温度降至-5℃,再在-5℃下保温3h,然后过滤,所得滤渣于80-90℃下干燥3h,最后于500-550℃下煅烧3h即可。

Claims (2)
1.一种涂料用疏水型纳米二氧化硅的制备方法,其特征在于,包括如下步骤:
(1)搅拌下向质量浓度40%的水玻璃溶液中滴加浓盐酸,控制溶液pH值在5-6,再于微波频率2450MHz、功率700W下微波处理10min,然后自然冷却至50-60℃,保温2h后继续微波处理10min,所得混合溶液于0-5℃下静置过夜,过滤,滤渣水洗三次,最后于100-110℃下干燥5h,即得中间体I;
(2)将中间体I研磨成粉末,再加入氢化松香,研磨30min后向混合粉末中加入异丙醇,充分混合后于微波频率2450MHz、功率700W下微波处理10min,即得中间体II;
(3)向中间体II中加入巴西棕榈蜡和羟基硅油,混合均匀后加热至回流状态保温1h,保温结束后在冰水浴下以5℃/min降温,直至温度降至-5℃,再在-5℃下保温3h,然后过滤,所得滤渣于80-90℃下干燥3h,最后于500-550℃下煅烧3h即可。
2.根据权利要求1所述的涂料用疏水型纳米二氧化硅的制备方法,其特征在于:所述水玻璃、氢化松香、巴西棕榈蜡、异丙醇和羟基硅油的用量比为1:0.05:0.02:3:0.02。
