背景技术
输送适配器通常可以用作注射器和导管接头之间的接口。该注射器可以包含液体材料,特别是诸如液体栓塞剂的高粘度液体材料。液体栓塞剂可以被看做是能够用于填充诸如动脉瘤、动静脉畸形、瘘管或者其他畸形的各种血管畸形的生物相容胶。液体栓塞剂也能够被用于诸如血管闭合、输卵管闭塞或者外周血管的闭合等各种用于闭塞的目的。该输送适配器有助于最小化甚至消除导管中的粘性液体材料的稀释,用于将该粘性液体材料输送到血管内的治疗部位。
发明内容
描述了一种输送适配器。
在一实施例中,输送适配器包括近端连接器、远端连接器、微型管及桥接片。
在另一实施例中,输送适配器包括近端连接器、远端连接器、微型管、桥接片及远端旋转元件。
在另一实施例中,输送粘性液体材料的方法使用所描述的所述输送适配器的方案。

具体实施方式
对于以下描述,在特定的图中使用到的术语近端以及远端,应当理解通常术语近端指的是图中位于顶部的项以及术语远端指的是位于底部的项。所描述的输送适配器的顶端或近端连接注射器,且其底端或远端连接导管接头。当所述输送适配器用于输送时,可以无需采用如大多数图中所示的垂直设置、自上而下的方式(即适配器可以横向设置,从左至右或从右至左取决于输送配置)。
液体栓塞剂通常被从注射器输送至导管,接着从所述导管输送至病人血管内的治疗部位。所述栓塞剂材料流经所述注射器,流入所述导管接头,其中所述接头22包括锥形储液器24,其可引流至更小直径的通道26以及所述导管的其余部分(见图1)。
由于所述锥形储液器24,对于生理盐水或DMSO或是其他液体而言,在这些液体被用来冲刷所述导管的储液器24和接头22后,它们有可能保留在所述储液器中。在液体栓塞剂接下来被输送时,保留的冲刷液体(例如生理盐水或DMSO)会与所述液体栓塞剂混合,从而稀释所述液体栓塞剂。适配器提供了一种用于从所述注射器向所述导管输送所述液体栓塞剂的接口,同时最大限度地降低与所述导管接头储液器的接触,从而最小化甚至消除冲刷液体对所述液体栓塞剂的任何稀释。
所述适配器包括微型管20,通过该微型管输送所述液体栓塞剂且该微型管位于所述导管接头内。在图1中,所述微型管20位于所述导管储液器24的所述远端,因此最大限度地降低了与保留在所述储液器24中的任何冲刷液体之间潜在的混合。
在图2中,所述微型管20完全绕过了所述储液器且位于所述更小直径的通道26内。所描述的适配器可以根据所述储液器24的尺寸和所述微型管20的长度,采用如图1-2所示的位于所述导管接头22内的任意配置。
图3所示的输送适配器的一个实施例中,其包括近端连接器12、远端连接器28、微型管20以及桥接片30,该桥接片位于所述近端和远端连接器12、28之间。所述近端连接器12可以由聚合物构成且可以包括形如旋锁公头的配合部件10,其与注射器的母连接器相连接。所述近端连接器12还可以包括粗糙部件14以帮助使用者抓握所述适配器以便从所述注射器上拧紧或拧下所述适配器。在一示例中,所述微型管20凹进并被捕获在所述近端连接器12的一部分内。在一示例中,所述近端连接器12包括一个通道,所述微型管位于其中。所述微型管20从所述近端连接器12穿过并超过远端连接器28。桥接片30位于近端连接器12和远端连接器28之间。
在如图3所示的实施例中,所述桥接片30显示为一个可以由金属材料制成的弹簧。在一示例中,远端连接器28可以由聚合物构成。远端连接器28可以包括穿过所述连接器28的通道32。微型管20穿过通道32。在一示例中,所述桥接片30被粘在近端连接器12内且位于远端连接器28内的通道之内。当所述远端连接器28未连接在所述导管接头且使用者扭动近端连接器12时,这种结构将使得所述桥接片30(例如弹簧)能够旋转。在一示例中,所述微型管20的远端延伸超出远端连接器28大约5-40mm。在另一示例中,所述微型管20的远端延伸超出远端连接器28大约10-20mm。在另一示例中,所述微型管20的远端延伸超出远端连接器28大约15mm。当所述注射器通过配合部件10与近端连接器12相配合时,其直接与位于所述近端连接器12内的微型管20相连接。因此所述注射器内容物直接被传送至所述适配器的所述微型管内,并且当所述导管接头被连接在远端连接器28时,内容物流出所述微型管20的远端并流入所述导管接头。
图4-5展示了输送适配器的另一实施例,其展示了一个额外的位于远端连接器28的末端的远端旋转元件34。在一示例中,桥接片30粘在近端连接器12内(例如通过UV胶)以及粘在远端连接器28内。在将所述适配器与所述导管接头粘合之前使用者对所述近端连接器12的任何扭转都将导致远端连接器28的扭曲。在一实施例中,远端旋转元件34独立于和/或相对于远端连接器28自由旋转。元件34的旋转能力缓解了在弹簧桥接元件30上的很多压力,否则可能会造成可发生在所述弹簧/桥接元件的一部分的单方面的扭转应力,特别是当所述适配器被固定在所述导管接头后。
在一示例中,微型管20可以由聚合物构成,或在另一示例中可以由金属材料构成。
在如图3-5所示的另一实施例中,可以使用一螺纹桥接片30代替所述弹簧桥接片30。所述螺纹桥接片30可以由金属或聚合物材料构成并且在表面具有螺纹。
在一示例中,如图6所示,所述桥接片30具有外凸螺纹并且远端连接器28具有与所述螺纹对应的凹部以相配合,因此所述远端连接器28的旋转将使得远端连接器28向上或向下(近端或远端)移动。在另一示例中,所述桥接片30具有内凹部并且远端连接器28具有与所述凹部对应的螺纹以相配合,因此所述远端连接器28的旋转将使得远端连接器28向上或向下(近端或远端)移动。对于图4-5中所示的实施例,远端连接器28或远端旋转元件34可以具有螺纹或凹部以与所述桥接元件30相配合。或者,对于图4-5中所示的实施例,远端连接器28与远端旋转元件34均可以具有螺纹或凹部以与所述桥接元件30相配合。
如图3-5所示的实施例中的所述微型管20可以截止于所述导管储液器24之内或者可以完全绕过所述导管储液器24。在一示例中,所述微型管20的远端延伸超出远端连接器28大约5-40mm。在另一示例中,所述微型管20的远端延伸超出远端连接器28大约10-20mm。在另一示例中,所述微型管20的远端延伸超出远端连接器28大约15mm。
不同的导管具有不同的接头和储液器尺寸。如图3-7所示的实施例可以被认为是一个通用适配器,因为所示微型管长度无需被定制以配合各种各样的导管接头。微型管20位于所述导管接头22内尽可能远端位置。远端连接器28和/或远端旋转元件34进而被拉伸(弹簧桥接片实施例)或被旋转(螺纹桥接片实施例),从而远端连接器28(图3实施例)或远端旋转元件34(图4-6实施例)配合所述导管接头。当被拉伸/旋转至此位置时,所述旋转元件34或远端连接器28(取决于实施例)从而被旋紧在所述导管接头以确保连接。
使用如图3-6所示的所述通用的输送适配器输送高粘度液体(例如液体栓塞剂)的方法如下:所述导管、微导管或输送装置被生理盐水冲洗并且被导航至目标地点。所述导管被溶剂(例如生物相容的溶剂,诸如DMSO/二甲基亚砜)冲洗。所述导管接头22被溶剂(DMSO)所充满,以便移除空气气泡且使得空气气泡形成的机会降至最小。所述输送适配器的所述近端连接器12连接所述注射器,并且通过向输送适配器注入液体栓塞剂以清除所述输送适配器的空气。一旦清除完成,使微型管20位于所述导管接头22内。当所述微型管20位于所述导管接头22内,所述远端连接器28(图3实施例)和/或远端旋转元件34(图4-6实施例)被拉伸(弹簧桥接片30)或被旋转(螺纹桥接片30)以连接所述导管。当被拉伸/旋转至此位置时,所述旋转元件34或远端连接器28(取决于实施例)从而被旋紧在所述导管接头以确保连接。当所述导管被导航至所述目标治疗部位时,液体栓塞剂从而可以从所述注射器,通过所述输送适配器,并通过所述导管被输送至目标治疗部位。
参考图7A-7B,展示了所述适配器的另一个实施例。近端连接器12通过在所述桥接片上的外螺纹30A和所述近端连接器12上的内螺纹30B与螺纹桥接片30相配合。但是,所述螺纹30A、30B的配合面对于所述近端连接器12是这样一种临界轴向力(即向上或向下),将导致近端连接器12的壁扩展且使得所述螺纹30A/30B脱离。其允许所述近端连接器12相对于所述螺纹桥接片30以一种棘轮式运动进行轴向运动(也即向上或向下)。一旦移除所述临界轴向力,所述近端连接器12的壁将恢复至正常位置且所述螺纹30A、30B将重新咬合。在一较佳的实施例中,所述螺纹30A/30B的所述配合面为如图7B所示的斜坡面。
在一实施例中,所述近端连接器12被配置为使用者能够将所述近端连接器12的外部上边缘挤压在一起,从而迫使近端连接器的下边缘向外弯曲。这导致所述螺纹30A、30B脱离并且允许使用者自如地上下移动所述近端连接器12。一旦到达需要的位置,使用者释放所述近端连接器12的外部上边缘且所述近端连接器12的下边缘恢复为非弯曲状态,并且螺纹30A/30B因而重新咬合。在本实施例中,所述近端连接器12可以采用稍凹的形状以使得对应此挤压压力能够产生这样一种弯曲。在一示例中,所述近端连接器12可以包括抓握部件(即用于用户抓握的粗糙部件),其中,使用者为了自由移动近端连接器12将挤压以引起弯曲。
继续参考图7A、7B,在使用中,使用者决定微型管20延伸超过远端连接器28的需要的距离。然后使用者以以上所描述的方式在所述近端连接器12上施加轴向力,以将所述近端连接器12以及其所附的微型管20移动至前述距离。使用者能够通过所述近端连接器12相对于所述螺纹桥接片30的旋转对所需要的距离进行“微调”。然后所述适配器准备将所述微型管20插入所述导管接头。然后使用者通过将所述远端连接器28旋紧在所述导管接头上(例如通过旋锁接头连接)以将所述导管与所述适配器紧固。使用者也可以将所述注射器固定在位于所述近端连接器12顶端的所述旋锁接头10上。

Claims (19)
1.一种适配器,包括:
第一连接器,其适用于连接注射器;
第二连接器,其适用于连接导管接头;
管,其延伸穿过所述第二连接器;
桥接片,其被设置在所述第一和所述第二连接器之间。
2.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其中,所述桥接片为连接所述第一连接器和所述第二连接器的弹簧。
3.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其中,所述桥接片为与具有螺纹的第二连接器相配合的螺纹片。
4.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其中,所述适配器的所述管从所述第一连接器开始延伸并穿过所述第二连接器。
5.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其中,当所述第二连接器连接所述导管接头时,所述适配器的所述管延伸超出所述第二连接器从而绕过所述导管接头的储液器。
6.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其中,当所述第二连接器连接所述导管接头时,所述适配器的所述管的端部延伸超出所述第二连接器,以使得所述管的所述端部位于所述导管接头的储液器内。
7.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其中,所述第二连接器可旋转。
8.一种注射器与导管的适配方法,包括:
将适配器的一端连接注射器;
将所述适配器的管状部件放置在导管接头内;
根据位于所述导管接头内的所述管状部件一端的所需的放置位置,相对所述适配器的所述第一端移动所述适配器的第二端;
将所述适配器的所述第二端与所述导管接头固定。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,进一步包括,通过所述管状部件输送液体栓塞剂。
10.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中,所述所需的放置位置为所述管状部件的所述一端绕过所述导管接头的储液器。
11.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中,所述所需的放置位置为所述管状部件的所述一端设置在所述导管接头的储液器内。
12.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中,所述适配器的所述第二端的移动受弹簧弹力的约束。
13.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其中,所述适配器的所述第二端的移动受螺纹运动的约束。
14.一种栓塞剂输送系统,包括:
注射器,其包含栓塞剂材料;
适配器,其包括:
第一连接器,其适用于连接所述注射器;
第二连接器,其适用于连接导管接头;
桥接片,其被配置为允许调节所述第一连接器和所述第二连接器之间的距离;以及,
管,其从所述第一连接器延伸并超出所述第二连接器。
15.根据权利要求14所述的栓塞剂输送系统,其中,所述桥接片为弹簧。
16.根据权利要求14所述的栓塞剂输送系统,其中,所述桥接片为与所述第二连接器的螺纹相配合的螺纹片。
17.根据权利要求14所述的栓塞剂输送系统,其中,所述第二连接器可旋转。
18.根据权利要求14所述的适配器,其中,当所述第二连接器连接所述导管接头时,所述管延伸超出所述第二连接器从而绕过所述导管接头的储液器。
19.根据权利要求14所述的适配器,其中,当所述第二连接器连接所述导管接头时,所述适配器的所述管延伸超出所述第二连接器,以使得所述管的端部位于所述导管接头的储液器内。
