Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及作为无级变速器用途而言适合的润滑油组合物。
背景技术
近年来,作为用于汽车等的变速器,开发出了金属带式、环式无级变速器,并且已经实用化。此外,在起动机构中具有带锁止离合器的扭矩转换器的无级变速器也进入了市场。进一步,最近以来,基于提高锁止速度范围中的燃料效率、缓和锁止接合时的冲击的目的,采用具有特意使锁止离合器滑动的功能(滑动控制)的无级变速器的例子也在增多。另一方面,如果进行这样的滑动控制,则会发生由润滑油导致的被称为颤振(shudder)的自激振动,因此对无级变速器油而言需要抗颤振性能的持续性。
然而,由于在无级变速器中要求金属间的高摩擦系数,因此要维持与摩擦系数为权衡关系的抗颤振性能是困难的问题。特别是在近年来的无级变速器中,锁止离合器的滑动时间设定得比以往的更长,因此需要进一步延长抗颤振寿命。
因此,提出了润滑油组合物的方案,其在基础油中含有(a)碱土金属磺酸盐或者酚盐、(b)酰亚胺化合物和(c)磷化合物,从而在提高金属间摩擦系数的同时实现了抗颤振寿命的延长(参考专利文献1)。此外,基于同样的目的,提出了由磷酸酯或亚磷酸酯、和叔胺构成的润滑油组合物(参考专利文献2)。进一步,还提出了由高碱性磺酸钙、亚磷酸酯、伯胺和叔胺构成的润滑油组合物(参考专利文献3)。

(D)酸性磷酸酯和酸性亚磷酸酯中的至少一种。
润滑油组合物,其特征在于,上述润滑油组合物用于无级变速器。
根据本发明的润滑油组合物,由于在润滑油基础油中配合有特定的4种成分,因此金属间的摩擦系数高,初期抗颤振性能优异,抗颤振寿命也长。因此,本发明的润滑油组合物特别优选作为具有带锁止离合器的扭矩转换器的无级变速器的用途。
具体实施方式
本发明的润滑油组合物(以下也称“本组合物”)的特征在于,在润滑油基础油中配合有上述(A)至(D)的成分。以下,详细地进行说明。
[润滑油基础油]
作为在本组合物中使用的润滑油基础油,可以使用矿物油和合成油中的至少任一者,即可以分别单独使用或者组合2种以上使用,也可以将矿物油和合成油组合使用。
作为这些矿物油、合成油,没有特别的限制,但一般而言,只要是用作变速器油的基础油的油则是适合的。特别地,优选100℃时的运动粘度为1 mm2/s以上且50 mm2/s以下,特别优选为2 mm2/s以上且15 mm2/s以下。如果运动粘度太高,则存在低温粘度变差的风险,如果运动粘度太低,则存在无级变速器的齿轮轴承、离合器等滑动部位处的摩耗增大的风险。
此外,对于作为润滑油基础油的低温流动性指标的倾点而言,没有特别的限制,但优选-10℃以下,特别优选-15℃以下。
进一步,作为润滑油基础油,优选饱和烃成分为90质量%以上,硫成分为0.03质量%以下,粘度指数为100以上。在此,如果饱和烃成分变得少于90质量%,则存在下述风险:发生劣化产物变多的不良情况。此外,硫成分变得多于0.03质量%时,也同样存在下述风险:发生劣化产物变多的不良情况。进一步,如果粘度指数变得小于100,则存在下述风险:发生高温下的摩耗增大的不良情况。
作为上述矿物油,可以举出例如环烷烃系矿物油、链烷烃系矿物油、GTL WAX等。具体而言,可以举出基于溶剂精制或者加氢精制的轻质中性油、中质中性油、重质中性油以及光亮油等。
另一方面,作为合成油,可以举出聚丁烯或者其氢化物、聚α-烯烃(1-辛烯低聚物、1-癸烯低聚物等)、α-烯烃共聚物、烷基苯、多元醇酯、二元酸酯、聚氧亚烷基二醇、聚氧亚烷基二醇酯、聚氧亚烷基二醇醚、位阻酯以及硅酮油等。
[(A)成分和(B)成分]
在本组合物中使用的(A)成分是基于高氯酸法的碱值为小于100 mg KOH/g的金属系清净剂,此外,在本组合物中使用的(B)成分是基于高氯酸法的碱值为100 mg KOH/g以上的金属系清净剂。通过同时配合(A)成分和(B)成分,可以在较高地维持本组合物的金属间摩擦系数的同时,进一步延长抗颤振寿命。
从这样的效果的观点出发,(A)成分的优选的碱值为80 mg KOH/g以下,更优选的碱值为50 mg KOH/g以下。但是,为了较高地维持金属间摩擦系数,优选为10 mg KOH/g以上。
此外,同样地从效果的观点出发,(B)成分的优选的碱值为200 mg KOH/g以上,更优选的碱值为300 mg KOH/g以上。但是,从抗颤振寿命的观点出发,优选为500 mg KOH/g以下。
(A)成分和(B)成分优选使用金属磺酸盐、金属酚盐和金属水杨酸盐中的至少任一种。通过配合这样的金属化合物,金属间摩擦系数变高。作为金属化合物,从效果的观点出发,特别优选选自碱土金属磺酸盐、碱土金属酚盐和碱土金属水杨酸盐中的一种。
作为碱土金属磺酸盐,可以举出通过将优选质均分子量为300以上且1500以下、更优选400以上且700以下的烷基芳族化合物进行磺化而得到的烷基芳族磺酸的碱土金属盐,特别是镁盐、钙盐等,其中优选使用钙盐。
作为碱土金属酚盐,可以举出烷基酚、烷基酚硫化物、烷基酚的Mannich反应物的碱土金属盐,特别是镁盐、钙盐等,其中特别优选使用钙盐。
作为碱土金属水杨酸盐,可以举出烷基水杨酸的碱土金属盐,特别是镁盐、钙盐等,其中优选使用钙盐。
上述碱土金属化合物,优选包含具有直链或者支链的烷基而成,烷基的碳原子数优选为4以上且30以下,更优选为6以上且18以下。
对于(A)成分的配合量,作为金属换算量以组合物总量基准计,优选为0.002质量%以上且0.1质量%以下,更优选为0.01质量%以上且0.08质量%以下。如果配合量为该范围内,则可以更优选地发挥本发明的效果。此外,(A)成分可以单独使用或者组合2种以上使用。此外,从本发明的效果的观点出发,对于(B)成分的配合量,作为金属换算量以组合物总量基准计,优选为0.01质量%以上且0.1质量%以下,更优选为0.015质量%以上且0.045质量%以下。
此外,从本发明的效果的观点出发,对于(A)成分和(B)成分的总计配合量,作为金属换算量以组合物总量基准计,优选为0.012质量%以上且0.2质量%以下,更优选为0.025质量%以上且0.125质量%以下。
[(C)成分]
在本发明中使用的(C)成分是下述式(1)所示的叔胺。

在此,R1是碳原子数为4以上的烃基。R1的优选的碳原子数为8以上,更优选的碳原子数为16以上。如果碳原子数为上述范围,则可以有效地提高金属间摩擦系数。但是,从溶解性的观点出发,R1的碳原子数优选为22以下,更优选为20以下。
作为这样的烃基,可以举出烷基、烯基、芳基和芳烷基等。在这些烃基当中,优选脂族的烃基,特别地,更优选饱和结构的烃基。因此,作为R1,可以举出十六烷基、十七烷基、十八烷基、十九烷基、二十烷基、二十一烷基以及二十二烷基。其中,十八烷基是最优选的。
此外,碳链部分可以是直链结构也可以是支链结构,但特别优选直链结构。
R2和R3均为烃基,各自的碳原子数均为4以下。R2和R3的优选的碳原子数各自独立地为1或2。具体而言,是甲基、乙基、乙烯基。如果R2和R3的碳原子数为上述范围,则可以较强地发挥抗颤振效果。此外,从稳定性的观点出发,与作为不饱和结构的乙烯基相比,优选甲基或者乙基。应予说明,R2和R3各自的末端部也可以键合形成环。
作为(C)成分的具体例,可以举出二甲基十六烷基胺、二甲基十八烷基胺、二甲基二十一烷基胺、二乙基十八烷基胺和甲基乙基十八烷基胺等。作为本发明中(C)成分的叔胺可以单独使用一种,也可以组合2种以上使用。
此外,从抗颤振效果和抗颤振寿命两者的观点出发,源自(C)成分的氮含量以组合物总量基准计优选为0.005质量%以上,更优选0.01质量%以上,进一步优选0.02质量%以上。但是,即使过度提高(C)成分的配合量,由于抗颤振效果和抗颤振寿命的效果会饱和,因此期望的是以使源自(C)成分的氮含量达到0.1质量%以下的方式限制配合量。
[(D)成分]
本组合物中的(D)成分是酸性磷酸酯和酸性亚磷酸酯中的至少1种。例如,可以优选地例示出下述式(2)所示的酸性磷酸酯、下述式(3)所示的酸性亚磷酸酯。如果配合这些酸性磷酸酯、亚磷酸酯,则通过与其他配合成分的有机作用,抗颤振寿命变得非常长。

在所述式(2)、(3)中,R4~R9均为烃基,特别优选碳原子数为12以下的烃基,更优选为8以下。如果这些烃基的碳原子数大于12,则存在金属间摩擦系数不能提高的风险。
作为碳原子数为12以下的烃基,可以举出碳原子数为12以下的烷基、碳原子数为12以下的烯基、碳原子数为6至12的芳基、碳原子数为7至12的芳烷基等。所述烷基和烯烃基可以为直链状、支链状、环状中的任一种,可以举出例如甲基、乙基、正丙基、异丙基、正丁基、异丁基、仲丁基、叔丁基、各种戊基、各种己基、各种庚基、各种辛基、各种壬基、各种癸基、各种十二烷基、环戊基、环己基、烯丙基、丙烯基、各种丁烯基、各种己烯基、各种辛烯基、环戊烯基、环己烯基等。
作为碳原子数为6~12的芳基,可以举出例如苯基、甲苯基、二甲苯基等,作为碳原子数为7~12的芳烷基,可以举出例如苯甲基、苯乙基、甲基苯甲基、乙基苯甲基、丙基苯甲基、丁基苯甲基以及己基苯甲基等。
作为式(2)所示的酸性磷酸单酯的具体例,可以举出酸性磷酸单乙酯、酸性磷酸单正丙酯、酸性磷酸单正丁酯和酸性磷酸单-2-乙基己酯等。此外,作为式(2)所示的酸性磷酸二酯的具体例,可以举出酸性磷酸二乙酯、酸性磷酸二正丙酯、酸性磷酸二正丁酯,以及酸性磷酸二-2-乙基己酯等。
作为式(3)所示的酸性亚磷酸单酯的具体例,可以举出亚磷酸氢乙酯、亚磷酸氢正丙酯、亚磷酸氢正丁酯、亚磷酸氢2-乙基己酯和亚磷酸氢二-2-乙基己酯等。
此外,作为式(3)所示的酸性亚磷酸二酯的具体例,可以举出亚磷酸氢二己酯、亚磷酸氢二庚酯、亚磷酸氢二正辛酯和亚磷酸氢二2-乙基己酯等。在上述酸性亚磷酸二酯中,从摩擦系数的观点出发,优选碳原子数为6~8的烷基、特别是具有支链烷基的酸性亚磷酸二酯,更优选具有碳原子数为8的烷基的酸性亚磷酸二酯。
本发明的(D)成分可以单独使用上述各种酯中的1种,也可以任意地组合2种以上使用。源自(D)成分的磷量以润滑油组合物总量基准计优选为0.02质量%以上,更优选为0.03质量%以上且0.09质量%以下。通过使(D)成分的配合量为0.02质量%以上,可以提高金属间摩擦系数。
作为本组合物,优选100℃的运动粘度为3.5 mm2/s以上且10 mm2/s以下,更优选为4 mm2/s以上且8.5 mm2/s以下,进一步优选为4.5 mm2/s以上且7.5 mm2/s以下。如果本组合物的100℃的运动粘度大于10 mm2/s,则存在低温粘度变差的风险,另一方面,如果本组合物的100℃的运动粘度小于3.5 mm2/s,则存在下述风险:无级变速器的齿轮轴承、离合器等滑动部位处的摩耗增大。
本组合物由于金属间摩擦系数高,因此扭矩传递容量大,此外,由于抗颤振寿命也长,因此可以适合地用于使用金属带的带式无级变速器(推力式(push-type)、链式)或者环式无级变速器等各种无级变速器。本组合物特别适合作为具有带锁止离合器的扭矩转换器的无级变速器的用途。
在此,在本发明中,配合有所述(A)成分和所述(B)成分的组合物是指不仅包括“含有(A)成分和(B)成分的组合物”的意思,还包括“包含将(A)成分和(B)成分中的至少一种成分改性得到的改性物来替代该成分的组合物”、“包含使(A)成分和(B)成分反应得到的反应产物的组合物”的意思。配合本发明的所述(C)成分、所述(D)成分和各种基础油以及添加剂的情况也同样如此。
[其他添加剂]
在本发明的润滑油组合物中,在不损害本发明的效果的范围内,可以根据需要进一步配合其他添加剂,例如粘度指数提高剂、降凝剂、抗磨耗剂、摩擦调整剂、无灰系分散剂、防锈剂、金属钝化剂、消泡剂和抗氧化剂等。
作为粘度指数提高剂,可以举出聚甲基丙烯酸酯、分散型聚甲基丙烯酸酯、烯烃系共聚物(例如乙烯-丙烯共聚物等)、分散型烯烃系共聚物、苯乙烯系共聚物(例如苯乙烯-二烯共聚物、苯乙烯-异戊二烯共聚物等)等。从配合效果的观点出发,粘度指数提高剂的配合量以组合物总量基准计为0.5质量%以上且15质量%以下左右。
作为降凝剂,使用例如质均分子量为1万以上且15万以下左右的聚甲基丙烯酸酯等。降凝剂的优选配合量以组合物总量基准计为0.01质量%以上且10质量%以下左右。
作为抗磨耗剂,可以举出例如硫代磷酸金属盐(Zn、Pb、Sb等)、硫代氨基甲酸金属盐(Zn等)之类的硫系抗磨耗剂、磷酸酯(磷酸三甲苯酯)之类的磷系抗磨耗剂。抗磨耗剂的优选配合量以组合物总量基准计为0.05质量%以上且5质量%以下左右。
作为摩擦调整剂,可以举出例如新戊二醇单月桂酸酯、三羟甲基丙烷单月桂酸酯、甘油单油酸酯(油酸甘油单酯)等多元醇偏酯等。摩擦调整剂的优选配合量以组合物基准计为0.05质量%以上且质量4%以下左右。
作为无灰系分散剂,可以举出例如丁二酰亚胺类、含硼丁二酰亚胺类、苯甲胺类、含硼苯甲胺类、丁二酸酯类、脂肪酸或者丁二酸所代表的一元或二元羧酸的酰胺类等。无灰系分散剂的优选添加量以组合物总量基准计为0.1质量%以上且20质量%以下左右。
作为防锈剂,可以举出例如脂肪酸、烯基丁二酸半酯、脂肪酸皂、烷基磺酸盐、多元醇脂肪酸酯、脂肪酸酰胺、氧化石蜡、烷基聚氧乙烯醚等。防锈剂的优选配合量以组合物总量基准计为0.01质量%以上且3质量%以下左右。
作为金属钝化剂,将例如苯并三唑、噻二唑等单独使用或者组合2种以上使用。金属钝化剂的优选配合量以组合物总量基准计为0.01质量%以上且5质量%以下左右。
作为消泡剂,将例如硅酮系化合物、酯类化合物等单独使用或者组合2种以上使用。消泡剂的优选配合量以组合物总量基准计为0.05质量%以上且5质量%以下左右。
作为抗氧化剂,优选使用位阻酚系、胺系、或者烷基二硫代磷酸锌(ZnDTP)等。作为酚系,双酚系、含有酯基的酚系是特别适合的。作为胺系,二烷基二苯基胺系、萘胺系是适合的。抗氧化剂的优选配合量为0.05质量%以上且7质量%以下左右。
实施例
接着,举出实施例和比较例,进一步详细地说明本发明。应予说明,本发明不受这些实施例等的记载内容的任何限制。
[实施例1~6、比较例1~7]
制备表1所示的组成的润滑油组合物。在此,油中的元素含量以下述方式进行测定。
(氮含量)
依据JIS K2609测定。
(磷、钙含量)
依据JPI-5S-38-92测定。
接着,以下述方式测定金属间摩擦系数、离合器抗颤振寿命。结果也一并表示于表1中。
(金属间摩擦系数:LFW-1试验)
使用ASTM D2174所记载的环块(block on ring)试验机(LFW-1)测定金属间摩擦系数。具体的试验条件示于下文。
·试验夹具:
环:Falex S-10测试环 (SAE4620 钢)
块:Falex H-60测试块 (SAE01 钢)
·试验条件:
油温:110℃
载荷:1176N
滑动速度:0.5m/s
(磨合运行条件:油温:110℃,载荷:1176N,滑动速度:1m/s,时间:30分钟)。
(离合器抗颤振寿命)
依据JASOM349-2012进行评价。具体的试验条件如下。
摩擦材料:纤维素系盘/钢板
油量:150mL
面压:1MPa
油温:120℃
滑动速度:0.9m/s
滑动时间:30分钟
休止时间:1分钟
性能测定:开始以后每24小时测定μ-V特性,测定在80℃下达到dμ/dV<0的时间并作为离合器抗颤振寿命
(磨合运行条件:油温:80℃,面压:1MPa,滑动速度:0.6m/s,时间:30分钟)。
1)基础油:氢化改性矿物油(100℃运动粘度为4.4 mm2/s,粘度指数为127)
2)PMA:质均分子量为3万的聚甲基丙烯酸酯
3)低碱性磺酸钙(A成分):碱值为20 mg KOH/g
4)高碱性磺酸钙(B成分):碱值为350 mg KOH/g
5)酸性亚磷酸酯(C成分):亚磷酸氢2-乙基己酯
6)酸性磷酸酯(C成分):酸性磷酸单2-乙基己酯
7)磷系抗磨耗剂:磷酸三甲苯酯
8)硫系抗磨剂:二硫代丙酸十三烷基酯
9)铜钝化剂:噻二唑系化合物
10)消泡剂:硅酮系化合物。
[评价结果]
由表1中的实施例1~6的结果,在基础油中配合有全部(A)成分至(D)成分的本发明的润滑油组合物的金属间摩擦系数达到充分地高,同时离合器抗颤振寿命也达到充分地长。因此,本发明的润滑油组合物可以优选地适用为无级变速器用途。特别地,要理解的是,作为配备有设定比以往更长的滑动时间的锁止离合器的无级变速器用途而言,其是极其优异的。
另一方面,在比较例1~7的润滑油组合物中,由于没有配合本发明中的(A)成分至(D)成分中的任一种成分,因此不能兼顾金属间摩擦系数和抗颤振寿命。
Claims (11)
1.润滑油组合物,其特征在于,在润滑油基础油中配合有以下(A)~(D)的各成分,
(A)碱值为小于100 mg KOH/g的金属系清净剂
(B)碱值为100 mg KOH/g以上的金属系清净剂
(C)下述式(1)所示的叔胺

(D)酸性磷酸酯和酸性亚磷酸酯中的至少任一种。
2.根据权利要求1所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述(A)成分中的金属系清净剂是碱土金属磺酸盐、碱土金属酚盐和碱土金属水杨酸盐中的至少任一种。
3.根据权利要求2所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述碱土金属是钙。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述(B)成分中的金属系清净剂是碱土金属磺酸盐、碱土金属酚盐和碱土金属水杨酸盐中的至少任一种。
5.根据权利要求4所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述碱土金属是钙。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,源自所述(A)成分的金属的量以组合物总量基准计为0.002质量%以上。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,源自所述(B)成分的金属的量以组合物总量基准计为0.01质量%以上。
8.根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,所述(C)成分是磷酸酯、酸性磷酸酯、亚磷酸酯和酸性亚磷酸酯中的至少任一种。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,源自所述(C)成分的磷的含量以组合物总量基准计为0.02质量%以上。
10.根据权利要求1至9中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,源自所述(D)成分的氮的含量以组合物总量基准计为0.005质量%以上。
11.根据权利要求1至10中任一项所述的润滑油组合物,其特征在于,其用于无级变速器。
