Description
本发明与可溶粉状材料的处理方法有关。本发明还与执行这种方法的设备有关。
粉状物品,诸如可溶咖啡或速溶咖啡,通常将其团粒化,以提高颗粒的吸湿性及溶解性,并增大平均颗粒尺寸。将待团粒化的材料接受蒸汽的强高速喷射的作用。通常必须用蒸汽将颗粒表面彻底湿润,以取得良好的团聚或良好的表面结构。欧洲专利EP-207,384号中叙述了一种将粉状材料团粒化并改善其表面结构的方法及设备。然而在这已知的设备中,因湿润区的长度不足,不能取得良好的团粒化或颜色变深,此外,经过相当短时间的运转后,设备可能堵塞。
本发明涉及的问题,是提出一种改进的处理可溶粉状材料的方法,将材料的颗粒在一个长区域中湿润,堵塞的可能性大减,取得的团粒化表明速溶性质及表面性质改进。
在本发明的方法中,在中心线上流过的粉状材料,由两个与之同心的顺流气流将其湿润,至少外层气流为蒸汽。内层气流为空气或蒸汽。这气流的作用是防止粉粒互相粘连。内层气流的流速大于外层气流,速差取决于物品的通过量及类型:物品的通过量越高,内层气流对外层气流的速比也越高。比率在1∶1至8∶1之间。外层气流的作用是保证尽可能维持粉流均匀。两气流对颗粒进行湿润,使湿润区有很大的增长,于是将团粒化改善。外气流的另一功能,是保证将尽可能少的辅助空气抽入气流。
两个蒸汽流为圆形,在蒸汽流的全部圆周上为等速,从而达到正常的湿润。
在本发明中,内蒸汽流比外蒸汽流薄。此外蒸汽流为直线型或旋转型。
引入的蒸汽为100℃至130℃的过热蒸汽或饱和蒸汽,压力为1至1.5巴。在多数情况中,温度约为100℃,压力1巴。也可以用湿蒸汽,即在饱和蒸汽中含细水珠粒的雾气。也可用其他的含水气体,包括有微水珠雾在里面弥漫的蒸汽以外的其他气体。
本发明的方法还适合任何粉状材料,凡有需要将其性能,诸如流动性,吸湿性,溶解性,硬度及颜色等提高者,诸如各种粉状食品。可将其团粒化或加深颜色的粉状食品包括可溶咖啡,可溶茶,可溶菊苣粉,可溶谷物浸汁粉,奶粉,乳糖,和以碳水化合物为主体的混合饮料等。还可将这些材料的组合团粒化或加深颜色。
采用本发明的方法时,非团粒粉质材料的百分比,小于用传统喷嘴。
本发明还与执行这方法的设备有关,该设备有供给颗粒材料的充注管,其特征为有两个湿润装置与充注管同心,内湿润装置由圆形槽孔形成,外湿润装置用烧结金属环形板形成,粉料充注管的开口,气流槽孔的开口和供给蒸汽的烧结金属板的开口基本处于同一平面中。
本发明的设备可有一个或两个隔室,进行气流的供给及控制。两室的安排为气体的压力及流速可以分别调节。
在单室安排中,可通过槽孔口的几何形状,与烧结金属板的孔隙度,将蒸汽的供给速度变化。
金属板有极大量的微孔,在全部板表面上均匀分布。以烧结金属板的类型为定,微孔的平均直径在10至200μM之间。用这种板取得的蒸汽速度,比用槽孔取得的速度低。举例而言,通过槽孔及烧结金属板的速度,分别为20至30米/秒及10米/秒以下。槽孔开口比烧结金属板的宽度窄。如上所述,也可以设置附加湿润装置,改善物品流的湿润。这附加湿润装置可布置在物品流的中部,并有上述平面中的开口。通过这附加喷嘴的流速为20至100米/秒。
为将气流的湍流减至最少,必须将一个有孔和挡板表面的环放在槽孔上。这些孔及挡板表面可为直线形或倾斜。
假定在湿润区的当时情况下,在一个相当长的区域中,颗粒在相当低的速度下互相接触,从而团粒化的机率增高。
本发明的团粒化喷嘴可用于若干用途,例如专为团粒化而用,诸如用于代咖啡及可可类饮料,或用于喷雾干燥及团粒化的结合,诸如用于咖啡浸汁,或甚至用于将已呈现最终尺寸的颗粒加色或取得表面结构。
本发明设备的理想实施例将在下文中参照附图予以详细叙述,附图如下:

用输送系统20将组分的混合物向粉料供给器18输送。粉料供给器18有一个缓冲容器21,一个计量螺旋运送器22,驱动电机23和供料斗24。用这系统向喷嘴13均匀供给粉料。在干燥塔14中,颗粒之间形成的液桥,通过结晶作用巩固,以至在干燥器19的流化床中不致分裂。筛15将过大的颗粒排除,通过磨机16回送,成品30向包装工位输送。

将平行向热气喷雾的浸汁28,在达到筛15以前,在干燥塔14中干燥。将细颗粒29通过输送系统20,从筛15与废气除尘器26收集,用换热器27冷却,并用磨机25磨碎。将物品通过供粉器18输送到喷嘴13。供粉器18有一个缓冲容器21,一个计量螺旋运送器22,一个驱动电机23和供料斗24。粉料通过喷嘴13后,用蒸汽湿润后进入整体形成的干燥塔14,在塔中与雾状喷入的浸汁28同时干燥。将筛15排除的过大颗粒通过磨机16回送,将成品送往包装工位。

将物品通过供料斗9送入粉管8。在质量流计量2之后,将蒸汽流从一个饱和装置或过热装置1中通过。在3中测量温度及压力。分流蒸汽室31用进口12输入。室中的蒸汽通过一个有孔环6,从间隙5排出。挡板7决定蒸汽流的方向。将蒸汽相应调节,以适应烧结金属板4。蒸汽通过进口11进入烧结金属蒸汽室32,蒸汽室32用中间板33及分流管34与分流蒸汽室31分隔。从烧结金属板4排出的蒸汽速度低,有非常细的液滴雾。两室31,32中集聚的冷凝液,通过冷凝液出口10从室中排出。

图4 相应于图3的说明,仅示使用中央蒸汽喷流的另一可能性。将喷流通过管35引入。出口速度可通过中央喷嘴口36变化。
方法实施例。
粉料供给速度为1吨/小时,内喷流在1.3巴下为25公斤蒸汽/小时。出口速度约100米/秒,温度为110℃。至于裂口环5,在1.1巴下蒸汽量为60公斤/小时,温度105℃,流速为30米/秒。同心外层蒸汽流(烧结金属板)在1.15巴下为100公斤/小时,温度102℃,流速7米/秒。喷粉流至少在一米内不受辅助进气中涡流的影响。
Claims (16)
1、处理可溶粉状材料的一种方法,其特征在于在中心线上流过的粉状材料,用两个同心的顺流气流湿润,至少外层气流为蒸汽。
2、如权利要求1所述之方法,其特征为内层气流为空气或蒸汽。
3、如权利要求1或2所述之方法,其特征为内层气流的流速大于外层气流。
4、如权利要求3所述之方法,其特征为内层气流与外层气流的速比,为1∶1至8∶1。
5、如权利要求1至4任一项所述之方法,其特征为两个气流为圆形,在气流的全部圆周上的速度相等。
6、如权利要求1至5任一项所述之方法,其特征为内层气流比外层气流薄。
7、如权利要求1至6任一项所述之方法,其特征为内层气流为直线型或旋转型。
8、如权利要求1至7任一项所述之方法,其特征为使用的是饱和蒸汽或过热蒸汽,温度在100至130℃范围内,压力在1至5巴范围内。
9、如权利要求1至8任一项所述之方法,其特征为用粉状物品流中心的附加水流或蒸汽流,将颗粒材料湿润。
10、如权利要求1至9任一项所述之方法,其特征为颗粒材料为可溶咖啡或以碳水化合物为基础的混合饮料。
11、处理一种可溶粉状材料的设备,有一个供给材料的充注管,其特征在于有两个湿润装置与充注管同心,内湿润装置用一个圆槽孔形成,外湿润装置用一个环形烧结金属板形成,材料充注管的开口,气流槽孔的开口,和供给蒸汽的烧结金属板的开口基本处于同一平面。
12、如权利要求11所述之设备,其特征为槽孔的裂口小于烧结金属板的宽度。
13、如权利要求11或12所述之设备,其特征为两个湿润装置有一到两个隔室。
14、如权利要求11或12所述之设备,其特征为有附加的湿润装置在充注管中同心放置。
15、如权利要求11至14任一项所述之设备,其特征为一个有孔和挡板表面的环放在槽孔上。
16、如权利要求15所述之设备,其特征为孔及挡板表面为直线型或倾斜。
