Abstract

本发明提供一种液晶显示装置,通过将测试点(TP)设计成三角形结构,并在该三角形结构的顶角对侧设置接地线(L3),进而当有静电施加到测试点(TP)上时,该静电将会因尖端放电效应由测试点(TP)的顶角放电至接地线(L3),并通过接地线(L3)释放到地面,能够提高液晶显示装置的抗静电损伤能力,相比于现有技术,不需要增设新的元件也不影响信号传输,有利于降低成本,提升液晶显示面板的稳定性。

本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种液晶显示装置。
背景技术
液晶显示器(LiquidCrystalDisplay,LCD)具有机身薄、省电、无辐射等众多优点,得到了广泛的应用,如:液晶电视、移动电话、个人数字助理(PDA)、数字相机、计算机屏幕或笔记本电脑屏幕等,在平板显示领域中占主导地位。
现有市场上的液晶显示器大部分为背光型液晶显示器,其包括液晶显示面板及背光模组(backlightmodule)。液晶显示面板的工作原理是在薄膜晶体管阵列基板(ThinFilmTransistorArraySubstrate,TFTArraySubstrate)与彩色滤光片基板(ColorFilter,CF)之间灌入液晶分子,并在两片基板上施加驱动电压来控制液晶分子的旋转方向,以将背光模组的光线折射出来产生画面。
静电放电(Electro-StaticDischarge,ESD)是指具有不同静电电位的物体互相靠近或直接接触引起的电荷转移,静电放电会产生上千伏的瞬时电压,造成静电击伤,使得液晶显示装置无法正常工作。
为了避免静电击伤,在液晶显示装置的生产过程中需要进行ESD测试,请参阅图1,图1为现有的液晶显示装置的驱动架构及静电测试点结构的示意图,具体包括:显示面板100、PCB板200(PrintedCircuitBoard,印刷电路板)、连接所述显示面板100和PCB板200的COF300(ChipOnFilm,覆晶薄膜)、封装于COF300内的驱动芯片400(DriveIC)、设于显示面板100内的信号线L100、连接信号线L100与驱动芯片400的输出线L200、以及设于输出线L200上的测试点TP;ESD测试时,通过在测试点TP施加ESD信号进行ESD测试,测试点TP的形状通常为方形或圆形。为了防止静电损坏驱动芯片400和信号线L1,现有技术通常还会PCB板200上增设瞬态抑制二极管(TransientVoltageSuppressor,TVS)用于静电防护,然而增设瞬态抑制二极管不仅会增加元件成本,而且还会导致面内亮暗线的出现。
尖端放电是在强电场作用下,在物体表面曲率大的地方(如物体的尖锐部分、细小物的尖角发生)产生的一种放电现象,通常情况下,电子产品的设计应该避免其产生尖端放电现象。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种液晶显示装置,能够在不增加生产成本和不影响信号传输的前提下,提高液晶显示装置的抗静电损伤能力。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供了一种液晶显示装置,包括:显示面板、PCB板、连接所述显示面板和PCB板的COF、封装于COF内的驱动芯片、设于显示面板内的信号线、连接信号线与驱动芯片的输出线、设于输出线上的测试点、以及与所述输出线相邻间隔设置的接地线;
所述测试点为三角形,所述测试点的一顶角突出于所述输出线的靠近所述接地线的一侧而对向所述接地线且不与所述接地线接触,形成尖端放电效应释放测试点上的静电至接地线。
所述接地线与PCB板上的接地端电性连接。
所述信号线包括设于所述显示面板内的多条相互平行间隔设置的竖直的数据线、以及多条相互平行间隔设置的水平的扫描线。
所述COF包括用于传输数据信号的源极COF、以及用于传输扫描信号的栅极COF。
所述数据线与所述源极COF内的输出线电性连接,所述扫描线与所述栅极COF内的输出线电性连接。
所述信号线、输出线、及接地线均为金属线。
所述液晶显示装置还包括系统主板,所述系统主板与所述PCB板电性连接。
所述系统主板通过设于所述PCB板上的连接器与所述PCB板电性连接。
所述测试点为等腰三角形,所述测试点的底边与所述输出线共线,顶角正对向所述接地线。
本发明的有益效果:本发明提供了一种液晶显示装置,通过将测试点设计成三角形结构,并在该三角形结构的顶角对侧设置接地线,进而当有静电施加到测试点上时,该静电将会因尖端放电效应由测试点的顶角放电至接地线,并通过接地线释放到地面,能够提高液晶显示装置的抗静电损伤能力,保护显示面板和COF,相比于现有技术,不需要增设新的元件也不影响信号传输,有利于降低成本,提升液晶显示面板的稳定性。

为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图2,本发明提供了一种液晶显示装置,包括:显示面板1、PCB板2、连接所述显示面板1和PCB板2的COF3,封装于COF3内的驱动芯片4、设于显示面板1内的信号线L1、连接信号线L1与驱动芯片4的输出线L2、设于输出线L2上的测试点TP、与所述输出线L2相邻间隔设置的接地线L3;
所述测试点TP为三角形,所述测试点TP的一顶角突出于所述输出线L2的靠近所述接地线L3的一侧而对向所述接地线L3且不与所述接地线L3接触,形成尖端放电效应释放测试点TP上的静电至接地线;
优选的,所述测试点TP为等腰三角形,该三角形的底边与所述输出线L2共线,顶角正对所述接地线L3。
需要说明的是,上述测试点TP特别设计为带有顶角(尖端)的三角形,当有静电施加到测试点TP上时,测定点TP的顶角将形成电荷累积,引起电荷密度和电场强度增大,击穿该测定点TP的顶角附近的气体产生放电,与所述测定点TP的顶角相对的接地线L3将接收该放电并传输至地面,保护信号线L1、输出线L2、COF、及驱动芯片,防止静电击伤。
具体地,所述接地线L3与PCB板2上的接地端GND电性连接,从而将静电顺利传输至地面。
具体地,所述信号线L1包括设于所述显示面板1内的多条相互平行间隔设置的竖直的数据线、以及多条相互平行间隔设置的水平的扫描线,所述COF3包括用于传输数据信号的源极COF、以及用于传输扫描信号的栅极COF,所述数据线与所述源极COF内的输出线L2电性连接,所述扫描线与所述栅极COF内的输出线L2电性连接,通过源极COF传输数据信号至数据线,栅极COF传输扫描信号至扫描线,进行画面显示。
可选地,所述信号线L1、输出线L2、及接地线L3均为金属线。
具体地,所述液晶显示装置还包括系统主板,所述系统主板与所述PCB板2电性连接,所述系统主板通过设于所述PCB板2上的连接器与所述PCB板2电性连接。所述系统主板用于产生数据信号、扫描信号等显示控制信号进行画面显示。
特别的,本发明的液晶显示装置相比于通过圆形或方形测试点配合瞬态抑制二极管进行静电测试和静电防护的现有技术,不需要增设瞬态抑制二极管等新的元件,有效降低了元件成本,且不影响信号传输,有利于提升显示面板的稳定性。
综上所述,本发明提供了一种液晶显示装置,通过将测试点设计成三角形结构,并在该三角形结构的顶角对侧设置接地线,进而当有静电施加到测试点上时,该静电将会因尖端放电效应由测试点的顶角放电至接地线,并通过接地线释放到地面,能够提高液晶显示装置的抗静电损伤能力,相比于现有技术,不需要增设新的元件也不影响信号传输,有利于降低成本,提升液晶显示面板的稳定性。

1.一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,包括:显示面板(1)、PCB板(2)、连接所述显示面板(1)和PCB板(2)的COF(3)、封装于COF(3)内的驱动芯片(4)、设于显示面板(1)内的信号线(L1)、连接信号线(L1)与驱动芯片(4)的输出线(L2)、设于输出线(L2)上的测试点(TP)、以及与所述输出线(L2)相邻间隔设置的接地线(L3);
所述测试点(TP)为三角形,所述测试点(TP)的一顶角突出于所述输出线(L2)的靠近所述接地线(L3)的一侧而对向所述接地线(L3)且不与所述接地线(L3)接触,形成尖端放电效应释放测试点(TP)上的静电至接地线(L3)。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述接地线(L3)与PCB板(2)上的接地端(GND)电性连接。
3.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述信号线(L1)包括设于所述显示面板(1)内的多条相互平行间隔设置的竖直的数据线、以及多条相互平行间隔设置的水平的扫描线。
4.如权利要求3所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述COF(3)包括用于传输数据信号的源极COF、以及用于传输扫描信号的栅极COF。
5.如权利要求4所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述数据线与所述源极COF内的输出线(L2)电性连接,所述扫描线与所述栅极COF内的输出线(L2)电性连接。
6.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述信号线(L1)、输出线(L2)、及接地线(L3)均为金属线。

8.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述系统主板通过设于所述PCB板(2)上的连接器与所述PCB板(2)电性连接。
9.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述测试点(TP)为等腰三角形,所述测试点(TP)的底边与所述输出线(L2)共线,顶角正对向所述接地线(L3)。
