本发明为一种平板型的便携式电子设备,具有:板状的壳体;设置在所述壳体的前表面的触摸面板和显示部;以及对涉及结算的卡进行读取处理的读取部,所述读取部与所述壳体整体构成。

如图1~图4所示,实施方式的便携式电子设备1具有壳体2、触摸面板/显示部3、磁读取部4、接触型IC读取部5以及非接触型IC读取部6。便携式电子设备1也可以具有作为平板型终端的一般的功能,例如有线通信部、无线通信部、作为输入装置的按钮、扬声器以及GPS(GlobalPositioningSystem,全球定位系统)部。
壳体2构成便携式电子设备1的外形的主要部分,具有扁平的板状的大致长方体形状。壳体2具有横向长的大致矩形的前表面21和后表面22、上侧面23、下侧面24、右侧面25以及左侧面26。
另外,在本说明书中“大致矩形”包括所有整体看上去可以看作矩形的形状。例如,包括完美的矩形、角部带有圆角的矩形、边稍微弯曲的形状等。
壳体2具有主要构成前表面21的前盖210,主要构成上侧面23、下侧面24、右侧面25以及左侧面26的框架230,主要构成后表面22的后盖220。

磁读取部4、接触型IC读取部5以及非接触型IC读取部6与壳体2整体构成。
如图1~图6所示,磁读取部4具有磁传感器41和磁用插入槽42。
磁传感器41也被称为磁头,从磁卡C1的磁记录部获取磁信息。磁用插入槽42设置在壳体2,用于将磁卡C1的磁记录部引导到磁传感器41的位置。磁传感器41以其检测部朝向磁用插入槽42的内部的方式配置在壳体2的内侧。
磁用插入槽42在纵方向D2上呈直线状延伸,在上侧面23和下侧面24开放。此外,磁用插入槽42在右侧面25开放,朝向左方向D32以有底的方式凹陷。磁用插入槽42的底部421在纵方向D2上呈直线状延伸。磁用插入槽42的厚度(在壳体2的厚度方向D1上的厚度)比磁卡C1的厚度(刻有名字、卡号的凸出部C12以外的区域的厚度)略厚。
因此,如图5(A)所示,在将磁卡C1插入到磁用插入槽42后,能够使磁卡C1稳定地在纵方向D2上滑动。另外,即使将磁卡C1插入到磁用插入槽42的底部421,磁卡C1的凸出部C12也不会位于插入槽42。
通过使磁卡C1的一部分位于磁用插入槽42的内部而使磁卡C1在纵方向D2上移动,从而磁卡C1的磁记录部的磁信息被磁传感器41所获取。
如图1~图7所示,接触型IC读取部5具有接触型IC传感器51和IC用插入槽52。
接触型IC传感器51与接触型IC卡C2的IC芯片接触而从IC芯片获取电子信息。IC用插入槽52设置在壳体2,用于将接触型IC卡C2的IC芯片引导到接触型IC传感器51的位置。
IC用插入槽52在右侧面25开放,朝向左方向D32以有底的方式凹陷。IC用插入槽52的底部521位于比磁用插入槽42的底部421靠左方向D32侧的位置。换言之,在接触型IC卡C2向IC用插入槽52插入的方向(左方向D32)上,IC用插入槽52比磁用插入槽42深。

接触型IC传感器51配置在靠里的区域525。详细地说,接触型IC传感器51以其检测部朝向IC用插入槽52的靠里的区域525的内部的方式配置在壳体2的内侧。
如图7所示,在右视图中,IC用插入槽52具有凸出部用槽部522和主槽部523。凸出部用槽部522具有与接触型IC卡C2的凸出部C22对应的形状。主槽部523具有与接触型IC卡C2中的凸出部C22以外的区域C21对应的形状。
主槽部523的厚度(在壳体2的厚度方向D1上的厚度)比接触型IC卡C2中的凸出部C22以外的区域C21的厚度略厚,并且比接触型IC卡C2中的凸出部C22的厚度略薄。此外,凸出部用槽部522的厚度(在壳体2的厚度方向D1上的厚度)比接触型IC卡C2中的凸出部C22的厚度略厚。
因此,只要使接触型IC卡C2的凸出部C22位于IC用插入槽52的凸出部用槽部522,就能够使接触型IC卡C2插入到IC用插入槽52。而且,能够使接触型IC卡C2稳定地在左方向D32上滑动。
当将接触型IC卡C2插入到IC用插入槽52的靠里的区域525时,其将被保持在那里。由此,接触型IC卡C2的IC芯片的电子信息被接触型IC传感器51获取。
如图3所示,在正面观察时,IC用插入槽52的靠里的区域525的入口处的两方的入口边缘部526带有圆角(形成有R)。由此,在使接触型IC卡C2插入到IC用插入槽52的靠里的区域525时,容易将接触型IC卡C2引导到靠里的区域525。此外,在使磁卡C1在磁用插入槽42中滑动时,即使磁卡C1将要朝向IC用插入槽52的靠里的区域525移动,磁卡C1也会碰到靠里的区域525的入口边缘部526(526A)。此时,因为入口边缘部526(526A)带有圆角,所以磁卡C1不易卡在入口边缘部526(526A),磁卡C1的移动方向会被矫正为合适的方向。
另外,靠里的区域525的两方的入口边缘部526中的位于磁卡C1的移动方向(下方向D22)的上游侧的入口边缘部526B也可以不带圆角而具有棱角。
此外,磁用插入槽42与IC用插入槽52在它们的一部分重叠。详细地说,IC用插入槽52中的比磁用插入槽42的底部421靠右方向D31侧的区域成为磁用插入槽42与IC用插入槽52重叠的区域(也称为“重叠区域524”)。
如图2所示,非接触型IC读取部6具有非接触型IC传感器61。非接触型IC传感器61由天线组成。非接触型IC卡C3具有IC芯片和天线。通过在非接触型IC传感器61的天线与非接触型IC卡C3的天线之间收发数据,从而非接触型IC读取部6从配置在壳体2的前表面21侧且配置在非接触型IC传感器61的附近的非接触型IC卡C3中的IC芯片获取电子信息。作为非接触型IC卡C3的例子,可举出NFC(NearFieldCommunication,近场通信)标准的卡。
通过使非接触型IC卡C3接近非接触型IC读取部6,从而非接触型IC卡C3的IC芯片的电子信息被非接触型IC传感器61获取。
像这样,在正面观察壳体2时,磁读取部4和接触型IC读取部5配置在壳体2中的一方的纵侧面(右侧面25)侧。此外,非接触型IC读取部6配置在壳体2中的另一方的纵侧面(左侧面26)侧。
根据实施方式的便携式电子设备1,可发挥例如以下的效果。
实施方式的便携式电子设备1具有壳体2和设置在壳体2的前表面21的触摸面板/显示部3,并且作为对涉及结算的卡进行读取处理的读取部而具有磁读取部4、接触型IC读取部5以及非接触型IC读取部6。磁读取部4、接触型IC读取部5以及非接触型IC读取部6与壳体2整体构成。因此,根据实施方式的便携式电子设备1,能够提供可利用卡进行结算并且紧凑的平板型的便携式电子设备1。
此外,与经由电缆外设有独立的读取部(读卡器)的结构相比,能够避免从电缆连接部分盗取数据。此外,通过整体构成,从而能够提高便携性、操作性。
此外,IC读取部5具有从接触型IC卡C2的IC芯片获取电子信息的接触型IC传感器51和设置在壳体2的用于将接触型IC卡C2的IC芯片引导到接触型IC传感器51的位置的IC用插入槽52。磁读取部4具有从磁卡C1的磁记录部获取磁信息的磁传感器41和设置在壳体2的用于将磁卡C1的磁记录部引导到磁传感器41的位置的磁用插入槽42。IC用插入槽52和磁用插入槽42在它们的一部分中重叠。因此,能够谋求IC用插入槽52的空间(space)和磁用插入槽42的空间(space)的省空间化。
此外,在接触型IC卡C2向IC用插入槽52插入的方向D32上,IC用插入槽52设置在比磁用插入槽42靠里的区域525。此外,接触型IC传感器51配置在靠里的区域525。因此,能够将接触型IC传感器51配置在不与磁用插入槽42重叠的位置,设计的自由度高。
此外,IC用插入槽52具有凸出部用槽部522,该凸出部用槽部522具有与接触型IC卡C2的凸出部C22对应的形状。因此,在接触型IC卡C2向IC用插入槽52插入时,能够将凸出部用槽部522用作插入引导器。
此外,在正面观察便携式电子设备1时,接触型IC读取部5和磁读取部4配置在作为壳体2中的一方的纵侧面的右侧面25侧。此外,非接触型IC读取部6配置在作为壳体2中的另一方的纵侧面的左侧面26侧。因此,与例如接触型IC读取部5、磁读取部4以及非接触型IC读取部6配置在右侧面25侧的方式相比,容易谋求纵方向D2上的紧凑化。
以上,对本发明的适当的实施方式进行了说明,但是本发明并不限定于前述的实施方式,能够以各种方式实施。
例如,虽然在所述实施方式中作为对涉及结算的卡进行读取处理的读取部而具有磁读取部4、接触型IC读取部5以及非接触型IC读取部6,但是不限于此。便携式电子设备只要具有1个以上的读取部即可。
虽然在所述实施方式中磁用插入槽42和IC用插入槽52向左方向32D凹陷,但是不限于此。磁用插入槽42和IC用插入槽52也可以向其它方向(例如,右方向D31、厚度方向D1、纵方向D2)凹陷。
接触型IC读取部5、磁读取部4以及非接触型IC读取部6也可以配置在同一侧。

Claims (6)

1.一种便携式电子设备,是平板型的便携式电子设备,具有:
板状的壳体;
触摸面板和显示部,设置在所述壳体的前表面;以及
读取部,对涉及结算的卡进行读取处理,
所述读取部与所述壳体整体构成。
2.如权利要求1所述的便携式电子设备,其中,
所述读取部具有:
IC读取部,对作为所述卡的IC卡进行读取处理;以及
磁读取部,对作为所述卡的磁卡进行读取处理,
所述IC读取部具有:
IC传感器,从IC卡的IC芯片获取电子信息;以及
IC用插入槽,设置在所述壳体,用于将IC卡的IC芯片引导到所述IC传感器的位置,
所述磁读取部具有:
磁传感器,从磁卡的磁记录部获取磁信息;以及
磁用插入槽,设置在所述壳体,用于将磁卡的磁记录部引导到所述磁传感器的位置,
所述IC用插入槽和所述磁用插入槽在它们的一部分重叠。
3.如权利要求2所述的便携式电子设备,其中,
在IC卡向所述IC用插入槽插入的方向上,所述IC用插入槽的底部设置在比所述磁用插入槽的底部靠里的区域,所述IC传感器配置在所述靠里的区域。
4.如权利要求2或3所述的便携式电子设备,其中,
所述IC用插入槽具有凸出部用槽部,该凸出部用槽部具有与IC卡的凸出部对应的形状。
5.如权利要求1~4的任一项所述的便携式电子设备,其中,
所述IC读取部具有:
接触型IC读取部,对作为所述IC卡的接触型IC卡进行读取处理;以及
非接触型IC读取部,对作为所述IC卡的非接触型IC卡进行读取处理。
6.如权利要求5所述的便携式电子设备,其中,
在正面观察所述便携式电子设备时,所述壳体和所述显示部为大致矩形,
所述接触型IC读取部和所述磁读取部配置在所述壳体中的一方的纵侧面侧,并且所述非接触型IC读取部配置在所述壳体中的另一方的纵侧面侧。
