Abstract
辊子(1)由两个金属衬套覆盖,形成两个叠置的

Description
本发明是关于一种辊子,该辊子用于通过直接连续浇铸熔融金属在两个辊子之间或一个辊子上生产薄带材的装置。
众所周之,这些辊子包括一个圆柱状芯体,其上覆盖有一个通常由铜制成的衬套,在衬套和芯体之间或衬套内的通道内循环冷却剂如水来冷却这些辊子。实际中,人们观察到在浇铸期间这样生产的辊子会产生向外的鼓凸,所以在这样鼓凸的两个辊子之间生产的产品就有一种“狗骨”形状。由于它们端部的厚度大于它们中部区域的厚度,所以这样的产品不能令人满意。
在一个单独的辊子上进行浇铸的情况下,辊子的鼓凸使熔融金属喂送装置与辊子之间的间隙不均匀。辊子可能会与喂送装置的耐火材料接触并损坏它。
本发明的目的就是提供一种辊子,它有可能克服该缺点并生产出厚度轮廓令人满意的产品。
根据本发明,辊子包括一个第一衬套,一个环绕第一衬套的第二衬套,第二衬套与第一衬套形成两个叠置的圆筒状层,这样选择两个衬套的材料即内衬套的膨胀系数高于与熔融金属接触的外衬套的膨胀系数。
这样选择膨胀系数及相应的材料,即两种材料之间膨胀的差可以抵消双衬套产生鼓凸的趋向,特别是在辊子之间缝隙的平面上。
例如内衬套可由铜制成,外衬套由钢制成,两个衬套相互焊接在一起。
参照附图,通过下面的描述会更清楚地理解本发明的其它特征和优点,附图通过举例的方式描述了非限定实施例。
图1是一个辊子的透视图,包括一个根据本发明的双衬套,用于连续浇铸薄金属带材的装置。
图2是图1所示辊子的局部轴向剖视图。
附图中所示的辊子1是用于在两个类似的辊子1之间通过直接连续浇铸熔融金属(例如钢)生产薄金属带材的装置,这样一种装置是公知的,所以未示于附图中。
带有轴心线XX的辊子1包括一个内圆柱状芯体2和两个环绕内芯体2的叠置的环形衬套3、4,其中带有冷却通道5,水可在冷却通道内循环。这样选择两个叠置层3和4的材料,内衬套3的热膨胀系数高于与熔融金属接触的外衬套4的热膨胀系数。
例如通过焊接,或通过将其中一种材料嵌入另一种材料,或通过电镀将两个衬套3和4相互连接在一起。作为一个非限定实施例,内衬套3是由铜制成,外衬套4是由钢制成,实际上铜的膨胀系数高于钢的膨胀系数。
作为所选材料的膨胀系数的函数来调整两个衬套3和4的厚度。
这样,当在外衬套4与熔融金属的接触期间两个衬套3和4承受高温度梯度,衬套3和4材料之间的膨胀的差抵消了双衬套鼓凸的趋向,特别是在装置的两个辊子之间缝隙的平面上。
内衬套3最好由铜制成,厚度为5到30mm,外衬套可由钢,镍或铬制成,厚度为1到10mm。
举例如下:
辊子:直径1,500mm,宽度:800mm
内衬套:铜,厚度15mm
外衬套:钢或镍,厚度2mm
在整个表面上两个衬套相互连接(外衬套由一镀在内衬套上的覆盖层组成)
铸钢的温度:1,450°
内衬套内壁的温度:60℃(基本上等于冷却水的温度)。
结果:辊子的鼓凸是0.3mm,然而如果衬套全部由钢制成,鼓凸可能会接近1mm。
通过选择具有一更低的膨胀系数和更好的导热性材料(例如铬)作为覆盖层(外衬套),有可能进一步减小其余的鼓凸。
最后,应当指出本发明并不受在双衬套(3,4)下面的冷却通道5这一方案的限制,这些通道也可是加工在衬套3上的孔。
这里也应当指出上述由铜制成的衬套的厚度适合于冷却通道被加工在该衬套之下的情况。如果通道位于内衬套上,其厚度就是这些通道与内套/外套的交界面之间的径向距离,因为在这种情况下位于通道和芯体之间的内衬套的厚度被保持在低温并对不同的膨胀效果影响很小。
Claims (3)
1、用于在两个辊子(1)之间或一个辊子上通过直接浇铸熔融金属生产薄带材的装置的辊子(1),包括一个覆盖有第一衬套(3)的圆柱状内芯体(2),和位于衬套(3)和芯体之间或在所述衬套内的冷却通道,其特征在于它还包括环绕第一衬套的第二衬套(4),第二衬套与所述第一衬套形成两个叠置的圆筒状层,这样选择两个衬套的材料即内衬套(3)的膨胀系数高于与熔融金属接触的外衬套(4)的膨胀系数。
2、根据权利要求1所述的辊子,其特征在于两个衬套(3,4)通过例如焊接,或通过将其中一种材料嵌入另一种材料或通过电镀相互连接在一起。
3、根据权利要求1和2所述的辊子,其特征在于内衬套(3)是由铜制成,外衬套(4)是由钢,镍或铬制成。
