相关申请的交叉引用
本申请请求享有2012年10月4日提交的美国临时申请第61/ 709,586号和2013年3月14日提交的美国实用专利申请第13/826,159号的权益,两个申请以其整体并入本文中。
背景技术
当前存在构造成处理两个流体组分的混合物的多种分送装置。此类分送装置的一个实例或种类为泡沫分送器,其中两个流体组分为空气和液体,如液体皂。泡沫的产生需要空气和液体的混合,且最初的混合可在将那两个组分推动穿过网孔或筛而来通过起沫来产生气泡之前发生。产生的泡沫的质量部分地取决于两个组分的混合的程度或彻底性。
发明内容
公开了用于两个流体组分的混合室,其在混合物被推过用于产生泡沫的网孔插入件之前提供改善的混合。示例性实施例基于使用空气和液体的泡沫产物,但公开的混合室可用于任何两个流体组分。
单股空气流扩散成多股较小的空气流。在示例性实施例中,使用了空气扩散结构且空气扩散结构插入空气流中。当单股空气流接触空气扩散结构时,该单股空气流被分开且被引导到多个空气通道中,空气通道导致了多股较小的空气流。
单股液体流被引导到环形套筒中,环形套筒限定大体上圆锥形的腔,腔围绕空气扩散结构的至少一部分延伸。该腔构造导致了相比于较大或很大的流动截面的进入液体流具有较薄的液体流壁。液体流的薄壁的该环形套筒围绕多股较小的空气流。
在第二实施例中,存在单独的液体流,其被向内朝单独的空气流引导。本文公开的混合室构造可用于任何两个液体组分,包括可受益于更彻底混合的那些。

具体实施方式
为了促进理解本发明的原理,现在将参照附图中所示的实施例,且专用语言将用于描述这些实施例。然而将理解的是不期望由此限制本发明的范围。描述的实施例中的任何变型和其它改型,以及如本文所述的本发明的原理的任何进一步应用都将由本发明所涉及领域的技术人员想到。本发明的一个实施例更详细示出,但本领域的技术人员将清楚的是,与本发明不相关的一些特征为了清楚起见可不示出。
参看图1、2和3,示出了分送装置20,其包括液体储存器22、泵站24、液体导管26和空气导管28、混合室30和接近传感器32。 在操作中,一旦分送装置适当地包装或收纳且安装在期望位置,一旦感测到使用者的存在,则泡沫皂分送到使用者的手中。尽管其他物质或混合物可产生和输送,但示例性实施例集中于用于产生具有泡沫浓度(foam consistency)的皂的空气和液体皂的混合物。
泵站24构造和布置成生成空气流,其经由导管28行进至混合室30。泵站也构造和布置成从储存器22吸收一定剂量的液体(在示例性实施例中为液体皂),且经由导管26将该液体剂量输送至混合室30。
现在参看图4和4A,混合室构造和布置成具有空气入口34、液体入口36、壳体38、空气扩散器40和网孔插入件42。限定空气入口34的套筒44收纳空气扩散器40。壳体38的一部分使液体入口36与套筒44连接,以便限定围绕套筒44的大体上圆柱形的腔或空间46。图4A中示出了空气扩散器40的细节。
部分地由套筒44限定的空气入口34大体上为圆柱形,且构造和布置成相对空气扩散器40紧密围绕配合或布置。该紧密围绕配合或布置可通过事实上与空气扩散器40线对线(line-to-line)的滑动配合来实现。然而,即使略微的空隙留在套筒44与空气扩散器40之间,该略微的空隙也不会构成足够的空气流通路。此外,由于尺寸而具有最小阻力的空气流通路为限定的空气流通道62。套筒44大致终止于空气扩散器40的本体66与其裙部64之间的接合处。
在示例性实施例中,空气入口34和壳体38为单一的整体构件部分。因此,壳体延伸部48以滑动配合连接到壳体38上。该界面需要密封以免泄漏,且这可通过确定用于紧密压配合的部分的大小或通过使用粘合剂或通过超声波焊接来实现。
构想出的一种设计变型在于使壳体延伸部48和壳体38为单一的整体构件部分。该设计途径将导致重新设计空气入口,以便其将由壳体38的一部分收纳或安装在壳体38的一部分上(或中)。
壳体延伸部48连接壳体38,且与其协作来限定混合容腔50,其大体上在空气扩散器40与网孔插入件42之间。壳体延伸部48包括板(shelf)52,其限定混合物开口54来用于空气和液体混合物从容腔50进入网孔插入件42。
在使用中,混合室30经由空气入口34接收空气且经由液体入口36接收液体。箭头56表示空气流,且箭头58表示液体流。空气流到空气扩散器40的圆锥形顶部60上,且流至由空气扩散器40(见图4A)的大体上圆柱形的本体66限定的四个大致等距间隔开的通道62,产生向混合容腔50的方向轴向地延伸或流动的四股较小的空气流。尽管对于示例性实施例示出了四个空气通道62,但可构想出更多的数目,并且尽管可使用更少数目的空气通道,但预计混合将更不彻底。空气扩散器40的底座或裙部64包括定形为大体上截头圆锥形的上部64a,以及大体上圆柱形的下部64b。上部64a限定多个等距间隔开的空气通道62a。各个空气通道62a与对准且对应的一个空气通道62流动连通。空气通道62a的协作性质导致各个此类通道从对应的空气通道62接收一股空气流,且此后将其空气流沿径向向外引导。这样向外引导空气流引起那些空气流行进到流过圆柱形空间46的液体套筒中。这些流(空气和液体)的交叉引起空气和液体的初始混合。空气和液体的该混合物继续进入混合容腔50中。如图所示,空气通道62a经由大体上圆柱形的下部64b的外表面冒出。
图4B中所示的备选扩散器140类似于扩散器40,且具有略微不同的形状。扩散器140包括圆锥形顶部160、大体上圆柱形本体166、由本体限定的空气通道162,以及限定空气通道162a的截头圆锥形裙部164。空气扩散器140相比于空气扩散器40,将看到的是大体上圆柱形的对应下部未包括为空气扩散器140的一部分。
在图4C中构想和示出的另一个设计变型在于使扩散器240的每个空气通道262在扩散器240的大体上圆柱形本体266与裙部264之间的接合处终止或闭合。本体266限定四个空气通道262,或人们可选择任何数目的空气通道。通过填充或闭合裙部中的任何空气通道部分,裙部264变为用于来自空气通道262的空气流的偏转器,而非用作那些空气流的引导器。
到来的液体流进入混合室来作为单股流,且然后扩散到大体上圆柱流中,具体为形成流过圆柱形空间46且围绕空气流的液体套筒。到来的单股液体流整形成套筒,其壁厚在相比于到来的单股流的厚度时较少或较小。然后,当单独空气流向外偏转且与液体套筒交汇时,多个混合交汇和相互作用发生在沿周向间隔开的位置处。通过将空气流和其单独流沿径向置于再布置成大体上圆柱形的流套筒中的液体流内,空气和液体在多个地点处混合,且由公开的实施例提供的在多个地点处的该混合相比于基于空气流入具有柱状而非套筒形的单股液体流中是一种改善。
现在参看图5、6和6A,公开了用于混合室70的第二实施例。混合室70适于与分送装置20一起使用,且旨在由图5表示。图6的简图和图6A的空气扩散器透视图在一些方面类似于图4和4A。因此,将描述相比于混合室30的与混合室70相关联的结构差异。
在由混合室70代表的第二实施例中,空气入口72现在构造成具有流开口74,以便允许液体朝空气扩散器76沿径向向内流动。壳体延伸部78构造成以便闭合用于液体直接流入混合容腔80中的任何通路或开口。作为替代,在圆柱形空间82的下端闭合的情况下,所有液体必须向内朝扩散器76的外表面流动,外表面构造有四个液体流凹槽84,凹槽84与大致延伸扩散器本体88(见图6A)的全长或高度的四个空气通道86交错地布置。液体流凹槽84相对本体88并非全高度,因为它们分别大致在流开口74的位置处开始。空气和液体的该流型的结果在于将八股分开的流引入混合容腔80中。在围绕空气扩散器76的本体的圆周方向上存在与四股液体流交错的四股空气流。八股流的该流型导致了混合物被推过网孔插入件90之前两个组分在混合容腔80内改善的混合。

Claims (20)

1. 一种用于两个流体组分的混合室,包括:
用于第一流体组分的第一流入口;
定位在所述第一流入口中来用于将所述第一流体组分流分成多股流的扩散器;
用于第二流体组分的第二流入口;
围绕所述扩散器的套筒,所述套筒与所述第二流入口流动连通,以用于所述第二流体组分流布置成围绕所述扩散器的流型;以及
构造和布置成用于接收所述两个流体组分流的混合容腔。
2. 根据权利要求1所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述第一流体组分为空气。
3. 根据权利要求2所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述第二流体组分为液体。
4. 根据权利要求3所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述扩散器限定沿扩散器本体延伸的多个流通道。
5. 根据权利要求4所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述扩散器包括设置在所述扩散器本体的一端处的裙部。
6. 根据权利要求5所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述裙部为截头圆锥形。
7. 根据权利要求6所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述裙部限定多个流通道。
8. 根据权利要求7所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述套筒限定围绕所述扩散器的用于接收所述第二流体组分的大体上圆柱形的流空间。
9. 根据权利要求1所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述扩散器限定沿扩散器本体延伸的多个流通道。
10. 根据权利要求9所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述扩散器包括设置在所述扩散器本体的一端处的裙部。
11. 根据权利要求10所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述裙部为截头圆锥形。
12. 根据权利要求11所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述裙部限定多个流通道。
13. 根据权利要求1所述的混合室,其特征在于,所述套筒限定围绕所述扩散器的用于接收所述第二流体组分的大体上圆柱形的流空间。
14. 一种分送装置,包括:
用于保持液体的液体储存器;
用于将液体从所述液体储存器输送至远端位置的第一供应器件;
用于将空气输送至所述远端位置的第二供应器件;
构造和布置成与所述第一供应器件和与所述第二供应器件连通的壳体;以及
收纳在所述壳体中的混合室,所述混合室包括空气扩散器。
15. 根据权利要求14所述的分送装置,其特征在于,所述远端位置位于所述混合室内。
16. 根据权利要求14所述的分送装置,其特征在于,所述混合室包括用于空气的第一流入口、用于液体的第二流入口、围绕所述扩散器的套筒,所述套筒与用于布置成围绕所述扩散器的流型的液体流的所述第二流入口流动连通,以及构造和布置成用于接收所述空气流和液体流的混合容腔。
17. 根据权利要求16所述的分送装置,其特征在于,所述扩散器限定沿扩散器本体延伸的多个流通道。
18. 根据权利要求17所述的分送装置,其特征在于,所述扩散器包括设置在所述扩散器本体的一端处的裙部。
19. 一种分送装置,包括:
限定空气流通路和液体流通路的壳体;
用于将空气输送至所述空气流通路的空气输送器件;
用于将液体输送至所述液体流通路中的液体输送器件;
包括空气扩散器的混合室;以及
其中所述壳体构造和布置成沿径向向内引导液体流来与所述空气扩散器接合。
20. 根据权利要求19所述的分送装置,其特征在于,所述空气扩散器限定液体流凹槽。
