Abstract

本发明涉及一种用于诸如滚轧机之类机械的油膜轴承的改进的加强的冷却剂挡板。
图1示出了一种具有包括一冷却剂挡板的密封结构的典型的滚轧机油膜轴承。轧辊10的端面12由一中间的渐缩段14连接至一由辊套18围绕着的直径减小的部分16。辊套用键或其它方式固定至辊颈,且由轴颈安装于一固定于轧辊轴承座22内的轴套20内。油从辊套与轴套之间连续地供给,密封组件24围绕着中间的渐缩段14,以防止油从轴承漏走,同时也防止外部施加的冷却水以及诸如灰尘、轧屑等之类的夹带的杂质进入轴承。
密封组件24包括一柔性的带凸缘的颈部密封件26和一密封内环28,它们都安装在轧辊上以便与轧辊一起旋转,还有一密封端板30和冷却剂挡板34,它们相对于轧辊轴承座22而固定。这种密封结构是本领域熟练人员所熟知的,因此,除了冷却剂挡板34以外,基本不必作进一步解释。
冷却剂挡板包括一弹性模制部件,此部件有一径向延伸的安装法兰36和成一体的密封法兰38。安装法兰36位于密封端板30内的环形凹部40内,并由一环形肩部41所包围。凹部40有一平的环形安装表面42,安装法兰由周向间隔布置的螺钉44固定在此安装表面42上。当安装法兰36如此固定后,密封法兰38成一角度地延伸而与轧辊端面12弹性密封接触。
冷却剂挡板提供了防止不需要的冷却水及其所夹带的杂质侵入轴承而可能造成破坏的第一道防线。它也与密封内环28一起建立了通向密封端板内的一排出口(未图示)的迷宫式密封。而且,当轴承从辊颈上卸除后,安装法兰36与密封内环28的最外面的周向法兰接触并通过它施加一足以将内密封环和颈部密封件26都拉离辊颈的力。为了有利于此拉离作用,通过提高安装法兰的硬度,使它的刚度超过密封法兰的刚度。同时,可以理解,在滚轧期间,在轧辊非推力侧上的辊颈由于热膨胀、机械公差等原因而容易相对于轧辊轴承座沿轴向发生移动或“浮动”。如果保持在允许的范围内,这种轴向浮动不会损害轴承。为此,肩部41作为一阻挡件,轧辊端面12可抵靠着它而限制轴向浮动,从而保护内部轴承部件不受可能发生的破坏。
冷却剂挡板34模制成其尺寸与一给定轴承直径相配的封闭环状部件。通过切除适当尺寸的圆周段,以及将冷却剂挡板的剩余部分绕着不同直径的轴承的轴线弯曲,可以使它与不同尺寸的轴承配合。
这种结构的一个潜在困难是,在其工作期间,刚性较大的安装法兰36有从密封端板的安装表面42上离开或脱出的趋势。如果发生了这种现象,就会损害冷却剂挡板的作用。
过去,如图2中所示的例子那样,冷却剂挡板34′用一金属构件46来加强,此金属构件46有一定位成可防止从密封端板的安装面42离开的径向法兰48。然而,法兰48的径向设置限制了冷却剂挡板绕轴承轴线弯曲的能力,从而使之不适用于较小的轴承直径。
本发明的主要目的是提供一种改进的内部加强的冷却剂挡板,它可有效地阻挡安装法兰从密封端板离开的趋势,同时仍保持适应较小轴承直径所需的柔性。实现此目的的手段是在安装法兰内模制一加强环箍,环箍的宽度沿着与轴承轴线平行的方向延伸,并且与安装法兰的厚度方向垂直。环箍最好是金属制成的,并且位于用来将安装法兰连接至密封端板的固定件构成的圆周的径向外面。
由于在安装法兰内模制了一加强环箍,所以有阻挡安装法兰从密封端板上离开的趋势;同时,又由于环箍容许冷却剂挡板的径向弯曲,所以仍保持了挡板的柔性,使它能适用于直径较小的轴承。
图1是采用传统冷却剂挡板的轴承组件的部分剖视图;
图2是与图1相似的、显示另一传统冷却剂挡板的视图;
图3是包括本发明冷却剂挡板的轴承组件的放大的部分剖视图;
图4是本发明冷却剂挡板的放大的横剖图;

图3显示了采用本发明的冷却剂挡板50的轴承组件。与图1及图2中相似的轴承组件的其他部件用相同的编号表示。
再参看图4和图5,可以看到,冷却剂挡板50用适当的弹性材料模制而成,它包括具有平的前后表面54、56的径向设置的环形底部法兰52。一圆形密封法兰58成一体地连接至底部法兰52的内缘附近。密封法兰从底部法兰52的前表面倾斜地向外延伸而与轧辊10的端面12密封接触,如图3所示。
底部法兰52有周向间隔布置的孔60,每个孔从后表面56通到前表面54内的埋头凹部62。孔60容纳螺钉44,螺钉44用来将底部法兰52固定至密封端板肩部41的安装表面64。
一金属环箍66嵌装在底部法兰52内,其位置位于孔60构成的圆周的径向外侧且靠近法兰外缘。环箍的宽度“W”沿着与辊颈10以及冷却剂挡板的轴线平行的方向延伸。
底部法兰的外缘在构造上最好能限定分别从前后表面54、56沿轴向延伸的圆形前后肩部68、70。后肩部70接纳于安装表面64内的圆形凹部72内。更可取地,环箍66部分地嵌置于底部法兰内,且一部分环箍暴露并构成后肩部70的外表面74。表面74最后从底部法兰的外缘沿径向向内呈阶梯状。
环箍的位置是这样的,即,其前缘从前表面54的平面向内凹入,其后缘则突伸得超出后表面的56的平面。
环箍66有效地阻挡了底部法兰52从安装法兰64沿径向向外变形的趋势。同样,环箍容许冷却剂挡板的径向弯曲,从而使冷却剂挡板可被切割一部分并弯成较小的圆圈。
当螺钉44拧紧时,迫使环箍66的暴露的表面74沿径向向外并牢牢地座落在凹部72的底部76内,从而将防水装置相对于轴承轴线沿径向可靠定位。

Claims (7)

1.用于可旋转支承一辊颈(14,16)的滚轧机轴承组件内的一种柔性冷却剂挡板,柔性冷却剂挡板防止冷却剂进入所述轴承组件,并且适于安装在所述轴承组件的一不转动的安装表面(64)上,所述安装表面(64)从由轴承组件支撑的轧辊(10)的一端面(12)沿轴向隔开,以在其间构成一间隙,并设置在垂直于辊颈旋转轴线的平面内,所述冷却剂挡板包括:一径向设置的环形底部法兰(52),它具有多个在前后表面(54、56)间延伸的沿周向间隔布置的孔(60、62),一从所述前表面(54)倾斜地向外延伸的与底部法兰(52)成一体的环形密封法兰(58),这样在使用中,通过所述后表面(56)利用所述孔与所述安装表面(64)固定,所述环形密封法兰(58)横过所述间隙,以与所述轧辊的端面密封接触,其特征在于,环形底部法兰(52)具有一至少嵌置于其内部并位于所述孔径向外面位置上的加强装置,所述加强装置包括一宽度方向与旋转轴平行的环箍(66)。
2.如权利要求1所述的冷却剂挡板,其特征在于,所述环箍(66)是金属制成的,所述底部法兰(52)和密封法兰(58)用一种弹性材料模制而成。
3.如权利要求1所述的冷却剂挡板,其特征在于,所述底部法兰(52)具有一外缘,它的构造可构成分别从所述前后表面(54、56)沿轴向突伸的圆形前后肩部(68、70),所述后肩部(70)可接纳在所述安装表面内的一圆形凹部(72)内。
4.如权利要求3所述的冷却剂挡板,其特征在于,所述环箍(66)只有一部分嵌置于所述底部法兰(52)内。
5.如权利要求3或4所述的冷却剂挡板,其特征在于,所述环箍(66)构成了所述后肩部的外表面。
6.如权利要求5所述的冷却剂挡板,其特征在于,所述外表面从所述底部法兰(52)的外缘向内呈阶梯状。
7.如权利要求1所述的冷却剂挡板,其特征在于,所述环箍(66)具有一从所述安装法兰的前表面(54)向内凹入的前缘,以及一向后突伸出所述安装法兰后表面(56)的后缘。
