技术领域
本发明总体上涉及包装系统及其制造方法。
背景技术
产品的包装可采取多种形式。一种典型的包装类型包括展示卡或面板,所述展示卡或面板能够例如通过悬挂在展架上的钩上而被展示。产品被保持在附接至面板的模制、透亮塑料膜中。塑料膜通常采用热成型工艺制造。热成型是经常用于形成产品包装的技术并且包括将热塑性材料片加热至材料变得易曲折的成型温度。所述片然后被模制成期望的形状并被固化以使得所述片保持那个形状。
典型的热成型工艺采用两个形状上互补的模具。两个模具包括限定了所述膜形状的凸起部分的阳模以及限定了所述膜形状的凹进部分的阴模。随着在模具之间受热地定位,阴模被压入阳模中或反之阳模被压入阴模中,以将所述片形成为由模具限定的形状。模制后的片然后被固化以使得其保持模制的形状。其它热成型工艺采用真空压力将已加热的片抽引到模具内,所述模具具有带有期望形状的内轮廓。
尽管这样的热成型工艺对于包装产品而言是有效的,但是它们需要使用单独的模具以模制用于每个产品的包装件。为每个产品制造单独的模具会是昂贵的。在许多情况下,具有共用形状的通用式模具被用于许多具有类似尺寸和形状的不同产品。因此,所述产品经常能够在包装内四处移动,这有时会引起产品和/或包装的损伤。

本公开涉及一种用于产品(诸如刀具、附属刀具、部件等)的包装组件以及这样的产品的包装方法。根据本公开的包装组件100的示例性实施例在图1中示出。包装组件包括第一子组件102和第二子组件104。第一子组件102包括膜106和至少一个产品108。如以下所解释的,膜106包括热成型片,所述热成型片已经被形成为包括容器部分110和凸缘部分112。产品108容纳在膜106的容器部分110中并且凸缘部分112附接至第二子组件104。

面板114的尺寸和形状以适合于在第一子组件102的膜106中容纳的产品108的方式设置。面板114的尺寸至少足以提供用于附接膜106的凸缘112的表面。在替代实施例中,支承构件114可设置成并非平坦的构型,诸如设置成盒形、圆筒形或其它类型的三维形状。
如图1中所示,面板114包括安装孔116,所述安装孔116用于将包装组件100放置在(未示出的)向外延伸的杆或钩上。在替代实施例中,面板114或其它类型的支承构件可设有(未示出的)脚部或基部,所述脚部或基部使得包装组件100能够直立,例如为了放置在展架上。面板也可包括(未示出的)标签、标记、印刷文字、图画等,以用于为消费者提供诸如重量、数量、尺寸、工业标准、标志、警告声明、模型、部件号、符号的信息或其它已知信息。
面板或支承构件114可设有防盗装置118(图7至10)。防盗装置118可以是安全标签,例如Sensormatic标签、近场通信(NFC)标签、RFID标签、识别标签、电子标签,或者是其它已知的带有和不带有内置启用跟踪软件的安全装置。防盗装置118可以以任意合适的方式和任意合适的位置固定在面板114上。在一个实施例中,防盗装置118借助于膜120(图7至10)附接至面板,所述膜120覆盖防盗装置118并且绕着所述装置粘附至面板114。防盗装置118在包装组件100上可以是保持可见以提供视觉上的盗窃威慑,或者所述装置118在包装组件上或包装组件中可以是隐藏的以便防止被去除。
将产品包装以形成如图1中所示包装组件100的工艺的示意性图示在图2至10中示出。如图2中所示,用于第一子组件102的膜106在加热站121(诸如加热炉(oven))处被暴露至热成型温度。成型温度可以是对于膜所使用的材料类型而言的任意合适的温度,该温度能够使得膜变得易曲折并能够在不撕裂或破裂的情况下被拉伸和变形,且不会使膜燃烧或起泡。膜106可以如图2中所示从膜106的两侧被加热,或者可以从仅仅一侧、例如从顶部或底部被加热。
膜106在热成型站124处被夹在膜框组件122中并且在热成型站124的如图3中所示的成型区域上方拉伸。同时,作为热成型工艺的一部分,至少一个产品108移动到热成型站124内以与膜106接合。在该实施例中,示出三个产品108移动到热成型站内。在替代实施例中,在热成型工艺中一次可使用更多或更少的产品(包括单个产品)。

在膜106已被成型之后,膜106被允许在产品周围固化,以使得膜106能保持被热成型的形状。膜106可在热成型站124中原地固化或为了固化可被输运至(未示出的)固化站。膜106可以以适用于所使用材料的任意合适方式固化。可被使用的固化类型的示例包括辐射式加热、冷却、强制通风、微波干燥器以及这些类型的组合。
在膜106已经固化之前或之后,热成型膜106可被分割以将产品108分成单独的子组件。膜106可以以任意合适的方式被分割。如图5中所示,膜106可使用(未示出的)模切机沿着每个产品108之间的模切线路134被分割。模切工艺的其它合适的方法是足够的,诸如使用锯、激光器、细刮刀片、水喷射、超声速或其它已知的分割工艺。如图6中所示,多个第一包装子组件102在膜106被分割之后形成。每个包装子组件102可包括单个产品108或(未示出的)多个产品。第一包装子组件102然后可被单个地或多个地附接至第二包装子组件104。在替代实施例中,包装子组件102、104可在分割之前彼此附接。
如图7中所示,第二子组件104的面板114可设有防盗装置118,在将膜组装至面板期间或之后,所述防盗装置118能附接至包装组件。防盗装置118可例如使用胶粘或结合而附接至面板114的表面。为了保护所述防盗装置,覆盖物120(诸如膜)被放置在防盗装置118之上并且围绕着防盗装置附接至面板114。为了封装防盗装置118,膜120可经历将膜120的和面板114的外周表面密封在一起的过程,并且最小化使防盗装置118无效的可能性。膜120可包括不透明或透亮的硬质塑料,所述硬质塑料尺寸设置成足以覆盖防盗装置并被附接至面板。在替代实施例中,用于防盗装置的其它类型覆盖物可被使用。
在防盗装置118已被附接至面板114之前或之后,第一包装子组件102可附接至第二包装子组件104。如图9中所示,第一子组件102的膜106的凸缘112抵着第二子组件104的面板114的表面放置,并且例如通过胶粘剂被密封至所述面板。根据针对托盘和膜所使用的材料,可使用任意合适的胶粘剂。替代地,一些类型的加热式和/或压力式密封可用于将膜的凸缘密封至所述面板。
在一些情况下,膜和/或面板可能必须被重新设置尺寸,在该情况下可如图10中所示使用任意已知技术实施修整操作以将膜106和/或面板114修整至适合的尺寸。包装组件中采用的安装孔、标签、贴纸、文字/图像印刷等可在加工过程中在任意合适的时间实施。
图11和12示意性地图示了包装工艺的另一版本。在该实施例中,用于第一包装组件102的膜106作为来自供应辊140的连续卷料(continuous web)被供应。膜106被馈送通过加热站121,在所述加热站121处该膜被加热至热成型温度。所述膜然后经过热成型站124。在热成型站124中,产品108在膜106之上定位。上固定构件142和下固定构件144被构造成:能会合到一起以形成围绕产品108和膜106的气密性热成型封闭件。上固定构件142与上述固定件126类似地构造,其包括朝向产品108的平坦的挤压部146以及在挤压部146后方用于朝着产品108抽引膜106的真空源148。在该实施例中,用于包装组件的面板114在所述工艺中采用,并且在热成型膜和产品离开热成型站124之后在所述热成型膜和产品的上方馈送。面板材料作为来自供应辊150的连续卷料被供应,然而在替代实施例中面板可作为单一的工件被供应。来自辊150的面板材料在到达分割站152之前被压到热成型膜106的凸缘112上并附接至所述凸缘112。在分割站152,例如借助使用模切机154的模切将热成型膜106连同容纳在该热成型膜106中的产品108以及附接至该热成型膜106的面板114分成单独的包装组件100。
图13示出了将根据本公开的包装多个产品的示例性方法的工艺步骤详细化的流程图。在S1处,用于包装组件100的膜106在热成型站124被加热至热成型温度。在S2处,提供膜框组件122以将膜106保持在热成型站,并且在S3处多个产品108在该热成型站处的固定件126上放置和恰当地排列。膜106和产品然后移动成在成型站处彼此接合,以使得在S4处膜106借助于所述产品变形,直至膜部分地包围产品并呈现与产品形状符合的热成型形状。膜106然后在S5处在膜包围产品的部分的情况下被固化。
然后在S6处检查第一组件102的任何不对准、膜对产品108的抓持度、以及其它已知的品质缺陷。在S7处,热成型膜和产品被模切或分割成多个第一包装子组件102。为了封装子包装装置120,提供了面板110。在S8处,可选的防盗装置112可通过任意已知的配件胶粘地附接至或结合至面板110的表面。在密封工艺S9期间,不透明的刚性塑料膜124放置在防盗装置112之上以覆盖防盗装置112并且在不会使防盗装置失效的情况下将膜124密封至面板110。
在S10处,第一包装子组件102放置在第二包装子组件104的面板114上,并且第一包装子组件102的膜的凸缘被密封至面板114。在S11处,通过任意已知的技术将膜106和/或面板110的任何多余部分设置尺寸和修整,形成安装孔以及设置标签。
以上描述的包装系统和方法能节省时间和减少包装工艺中的成本,是因为不必为每个产品形成单独的模具并且不必实施单独的步骤以制造模具、然后将模具填充产品。此外,以上描述的工艺和系统的多种改型是可能的并且落在本公开的范围内。例如,尽管上述许多步骤被描述为单独地或在单独的站实施,然而本领域技术人员将理解,特定的步骤可结合或是同时实施。
尽管在附图以及前述说明书中详尽地图示和描述了本公开,然而这些说明应被认为是图示性的并且不限于字面意思。应理解的是,仅仅已呈现了优选实施例并且期望保护的是在本公开精神实质内的所有改变、改型和进一步应用。

Claims (20)

1.一种包装产品的方法,包括:
将塑料膜加热至成型温度直至所述膜能热成型;
将受热的膜的至少其中之一与待包装的至少一个产品相对于彼此移动,直至所述至少一个产品使得受热的、易曲折的膜变形并且在受热的、易曲折的膜中形成至少一个囊体,所述至少一个囊体至少部分地封装所述至少一个产品;以及
在所述至少一个产品至少部分地被封装在所述至少一个囊体中的情况下将变形的膜固化。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
将膜分割以形成多个子包装组件,每个子包装组件都包括被至少部分地封装在至少一个囊体中的至少一个产品;以及
将子包装组件固定至包装面板以形成最终的包装组件。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述至少一个产品在与受热的、易曲折的膜接触并使该膜变形之前被放置在平坦的支承构件上,并且
其中,受热的、易曲折的膜变形直至所述膜接触所述平坦的支承构件以形成包围每个囊体的凸缘部分。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,将子包装组件固定至包装面板包括将所述凸缘部分密封至包装面板。
5.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,分割所述膜包括使用模切机将所述膜模切成多个子包装组件。
6.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
将防盗装置附接至所述包装面板。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
将所述防盗装置封装在附加的膜中,所述附加的膜在防盗装置之上定位并被固定至所述包装面板。
8.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
从所述膜和包装面板修整掉多余的材料。
9.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
在所述包装面板中形成安装孔。
10.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述产品包括刀具产品。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于,所述刀具产品包括附属刀具或刀头。
12.一种包装产品的方法,包括:
将塑料膜加热直至所述膜能热成型;
将受热的膜定位在待包装的多个产品之上,所述多个产品被支承在平坦的支承构件上;
将受热的膜朝着所述支承构件移动直至受热的膜绕着每个产品地接触所述支承构件并且所述产品使得受热的膜变形以形成囊体,所述产品被部分地封装在所述囊体中;
在所述产品在它们各自的囊体中定位的同时将所述膜分割,以形成多个子包装组件;以及
将每个子包装组件固定地附接至包装面板以形成多个最终的包装组件。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
在所述产品被封装在所述膜中的情况下将所述膜固化。
14.一种包装产品的方法,所述方法包括:
将膜加热至热成型温度;
将待包装的至少一个产品提供至热成型站;
在热成型站使用所述至少一个产品作为模具将所述膜热成型,以使得所述膜包围所述至少一个产品并与所述至少一个产品的形状相符合;
在热成型膜包围所述至少一个产品的情况下将所述膜固化;以及
将热成型膜连同被包围的所述至少一个产品密封至面板。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其特征在于,该方法还包括:
将防盗装置附接至面板。
16.一种包装组件,包括:
第一包装子组件,其包括热成型膜和至少一个产品,所述热成型膜被热成型以包括容器部分和凸缘部分,所述至少一个产品被容纳在所述容器部分中;以及
第二包装子组件,其包括面板,所述第一包装子组件的所述凸缘部分附接至所述面板;
其中,所述热成型模的容器部分通过如下方式形成:在热成型加工过程期间将产品与所述热成型膜压在一起以使得所述容器部分与所述产品的外部形状密切符合。
17.根据权利要求16所述的组件,其特征在于,在产品被容纳在所述热成型膜的容器部分中的情况下,所述热成型膜被固化。
18.根据权利要求16所述的组件,其特征在于,该组件还包括:
固定至所述面板的防盗装置。
19.根据权利要求16所述的组件,其特征在于,所述至少一个产品包括刀头。
20.根据权利要求16所述的组件,其特征在于,所述至少一个产品包括附属刀具。
