技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种面板驱动电路及面板驱动方法。
背景技术
作为新一代显示技术,AMOLED(ActiveMatrix/OrganicLightEmittingDiode,有源矩阵有机发光二极体面板)具有亮度高、色域广、视角宽、响应快、体积小等优点。通常,采用LTPS(LowTemperaturePoly-silicon,低温多晶硅)技术制造AMOLED驱动电路。AMOLED的发光器件为OLED(OrganicLight-EmittingDiode,有机发光二极管),在AMOLED驱动电路的驱动下,当有电流流过发光器件OLED时,OLED发光。
目前,AMOLED驱动电路通常采用传统的2T1C电路,请参阅图1,为传统的AMOLED面板驱动电路2T1C。包括:扫描控制晶体管(T1’)、驱动晶体管(T2’)、存储电容(C1’)、及有机发光二极管(OLED’);还包括扫描控制端(Scann’)、数据信号端(Datan’)、及电源电压输入端(Vdd’);所述扫描控制晶体管(T1’)包括第一栅极(g1’)、第一源极(s1’)、及第一漏极(d1’),所述驱动晶体管(T2’)包括第二栅极(g2’)、第二源极(s2’)、及第二漏极(d2’);所述第一栅极(g1’)电性连接于扫描控制端(Scann’),所述第一源极(s1’)电性连接于数据信号端(Datan’),所述第一漏极(d1’)电性连接于第二栅极(g2’)与存储电容(C1’)的上极板;所述存储电容(C1’)的下极板接地(GND’);所述有机发光二极管(OLED’)的阳极电性连接于电源电压输入端(Vdd’),有机发光二极管(OLED’)的阴极电性连接于第二源极(s2’);所述第二漏极(d2’)接地(GND’)。所述驱动晶体管(T2’)用于确定AMOLED面板驱动电路的驱动电流,所述有机发光二极管(OLED’)用于响应驱动电流而发光显示;所述存储电容(C1’)主要是存储数据信号端(Datan’)输出的灰阶(GrayScale)电压信号,所述驱动晶体管(T2’)的驱动电流大小由存储电容(C1’)中存储的灰阶电压大小决定,AMOLED的亮度取决于所述驱动晶体管(T2’)的驱动电流大小;所述扫描控制晶体管(T1’)与驱动晶体管(T2’)均为薄膜晶体管(ThinFilmTransistor,TFT)。
但是,一方面由于驱动晶体管(T2’)的阈值电压会随着工作时间而漂移,从而导致有机发光二极管(OLED’)的发光不稳定;另一方面由于扫描控制晶体管(T1’)的泄漏电流的存在,使得存储电容(C1’)的电压不稳定,从而也导致了有机发光二极管(OLED’)的发光不稳定。而且,由于各个像素的驱动晶体管(T2’)的阈值电压的漂移不同,增大或减小,使得各个像素间的发光不均匀。因此,传统的两个晶体管一个电容2T1C的像素驱动电路已经不适合高质量的AMOLED的显示。
AMOLED不同于TFT-LCD(ThinFilmTransistorLCD,薄膜晶体管有源矩阵液晶显示器)之处在于两点:第一点是TFT-LCD为被动发光,主要是靠调节背光亮度来显示画面,而AMOLED为主动发光;第二点是TFT-LCD为电压驱动,而AMOLED为电流驱动,因此,AMOLED对TFT的稳定性要求更高。
目前,由于LTPS技术尚不够成熟,通过LTPS技术制造出的TFT的阈值电压Vth均匀性很差,并且存在漂移,导致流经OLED驱动电流的不均匀,从而降低了AMOLED亮度的均匀性。由于AMOLED属于电流驱动,OLED的亮度由电流大小决定,电流越大亮度越高,但一直处于高亮度工作模式下,其寿命会大大降低。另外,AMOLED背板的良率仍然很低,OLED发光材料的寿命和色彩稳定度也不理想,因此,AMOLED的量产性尚不够高。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种面板驱动电路和面板驱动方法,可以降低AMOLED的驱动功耗,延长AMOLED的使用寿命,并增强显示画面质量。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供一种面板驱动电路,包括:扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、光敏晶体管(T3)、存储电容(C1)、及有机发光二极管(OLED);还包括扫描控制端(Scann)、数据信号端(Datan)、电源电压输入端(Vdd)、及低电压输入端(Vgl);所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)包括第一栅极(g1)、第一源极(s1)、及第一漏极(d1),所述驱动晶体管(T2)包括第二栅极(g2)、第二源极(s2)、及第二漏极(d2);所述光敏晶体管(T3)包括第三栅极(g3)、第三源极(s3)、及第三漏极(d3);所述第一栅极(g1)电性连接于扫描控制端(Scann),所述第一源极(s1)电性连接于数据信号端(Datan),所述第一漏极(d1)电性连接于第二栅极(g2)与存储电容(C1)的上极板;所述存储电容(C1)的下极板接地(GND);所述有机发光二极管(OLED)的阳极电性连接于电源电压输入端(Vdd),有机发光二极管(OLED)的阴极电性连接于第二源极(s2)与第三源极(s3);所述第二漏极(d2)与第三漏极(d3)电性连接后接地(GND),所述第三栅极(g3)电性连接于低电压输入端(Vgl)。

其中,所述存储电容(C1)存储数据信号端(Datan)输出的灰阶电压信号。
其中,所述驱动晶体管(T2)的驱动电流为灰阶电流(I1),所述光敏晶体管(T3)的电流为环境光照电流(I2),所述灰阶电流(I1)取决于存储电容(C1)中存储的灰阶电压,而所述环境光照电流(I2)取决于环境光照的大小。
其中,面板的亮度取决于灰阶电流(I1)与环境光照电流(I2)总和的大小。
其中,所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、及光敏晶体管(T3)均为薄膜晶体管。
本发明的有益效果:本发明提供一种面板驱动电路及面板驱动方法,通过在面板驱动晶体管的源极与漏极两端并联一个光敏晶体管,该光敏晶体管的电流受环境光照的控制,进而使面板的亮度取决于驱动晶体管的灰阶电流与光敏晶体管的环境光照电流总和的大小。因此,面板的亮度随环境光亮度的变化而变化,进而降低面板的驱动功耗,延长面板的使用寿命和显示画面质量。

为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图2,图2为本发明的面板驱动电路示意图,包括:扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、光敏晶体管(T3)、存储电容(C1)、及有机发光二极管(OLED);还包括扫描控制端(Scann)、数据信号端(Datan)、电源电压输入端(Vdd)、及低电压输入端(Vgl);所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)包括第一栅极(g1)、第一源极(s1)、及第一漏极(d1),所述驱动晶体管(T2)包括第二栅极(g2)、第二源极(s2)、及第二漏极(d2);所述光敏晶体管(T3)包括第三栅极(g3)、第三源极(s3)、及第三漏极(d3);所述第一栅极(g1)电性连接于扫描控制端(Scann),所述第一源极(s1)电性连接于数据信号端(Datan),所述第一漏极(d1)电性连接于第二栅极(g2)与存储电容(C1)的上极板;所述存储电容(C1)的下极板接地(GND);所述有机发光二极管(OLED)的阳极电性连接于电源电压输入端(Vdd),有机发光二极管(OLED)的阴极电性连接于第二源极(s2)与第三源极(s3);所述第二漏极(d2)与第三漏极(d3)电性连接后接地(GND),所述第三栅极(g3)电性连接于低电压输入端(Vgl)。
所述存储电容(C1)主要是存储数据信号端(Datan)输出的灰阶电压信号,所述驱动晶体管(T2)的驱动电流大小由存储电容(C1)中存储的灰阶电压大小决定;所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、及光敏晶体管(T3)均为薄膜晶体管。
所述光敏晶体管(T3)的电流受环境光照的控制,当环境光照增加时,该光敏晶体管(T3)的电流会增加;当环境光照减少时,该光敏晶体管(T3)的电流减小。
具体的,所述驱动晶体管(T2)的驱动电流为灰阶电流(I1),所述光敏晶体管(T3)的电流为环境光照电流(I2),所述灰阶电流(I1)取决于存储电容(C1)中存储的灰阶电压,而所述环境光照电流(I2)取决于环境光照的大小,当环境光照越强时,环境光照电流(I2)越大。面板的亮度取决于灰阶电流(I1)与环境光照电流(I2)总和的大小,即环境光照增加时,环境光照电流(I2)会增大,有机发光二极管(OLED)的亮度随之增加;环境光照减少时,环境光照电流(I2)会减小,有机发光二极管(OLED)的亮度随之降低。
本实施例的面板为有源矩阵有机发光二极体(AMOLED)面板。
请参阅图3,本发明还提供一种面板驱动方法,包括:
提供扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、光敏晶体管(T3)、存储电容(C1)、有机发光二极管(OLED)、扫描控制端(Scann)、数据信号端(Datan)、电源电压输入端(Vdd)、及低电压输入端(Vgl);
所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)包括第一栅极(g1)、第一源极(s1)、及第一漏极(d1),所述驱动晶体管(T2)包括第二栅极(g2)、第二源极(s2)、及第二漏极(d2);所述光敏晶体管(T3)包括第三栅极(g3)、第三源极(s3)、及第三漏极(d3);
将第一栅极(g1)电性连接于扫描控制端(Scann),将第一源极(s1)电性连接于数据信号端(Datan),将第一漏极(d1)电性连接于第二栅极(g2)与存储电容(C1)的上极板;将存储电容(C1)的下极板接地(GND);将有机发光二极管(OLED)的阳极电性连接于电源电压输入端(Vdd),有机发光二极管(OLED)的阴极电性连接于第二源极(s2)与第三源极(s3);将第二漏极(d2)与第三漏极(d3)电性连接后接地(GND),将第三栅极(g3)电性连接于低电压输入端(Vgl)。
所述存储电容(C1)主要是存储数据信号端(Datan)输出的灰阶电压信号。
所述驱动晶体管(T2)的驱动电流为灰阶电流(I1),所述光敏晶体管(T3)的电流为环境光照电流(I2),所述灰阶电流(I1)取决于存储电容(C1)中存储的灰阶电压,而所述环境光照电流(I2)取决于环境光照的大小。
面板的亮度取决于灰阶电流(I1)与环境光照电流(I2)总和的大小。
所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、及光敏晶体管(T3)均为薄膜晶体管。
本实施例的面板为有源矩阵有机发光二极体(AMOLED)面板。
综上所述,本发明提供一种面板驱动电路及面板驱动方法,通过在面板驱动晶体管的源极与漏极两端并联一个光敏晶体管,该光敏晶体管的电流受环境光照的控制,进而使面板的亮度取决于驱动晶体管的灰阶电流与光敏晶体管的环境光照电流总和的大小。因此,面板的亮度随环境光亮度的变化而变化,进而降低面板的驱动功耗,延长面板的使用寿命和显示画面质量。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。

Claims (8)

1.一种面板驱动电路,其特征在于,包括:扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、光敏晶体管(T3)、存储电容(C1)、及有机发光二极管(OLED);还包括扫描控制端(Scann)、数据信号端(Datan)、电源电压输入端(Vdd)、及低电压输入端(Vgl);
所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)包括第一栅极(g1)、第一源极(s1)、及第一漏极(d1),所述驱动晶体管(T2)包括第二栅极(g2)、第二源极(s2)、及第二漏极(d2);所述光敏晶体管(T3)包括第三栅极(g3)、第三源极(s3)、及第三漏极(d3);
所述第一栅极(g1)电性连接于扫描控制端(Scann),所述第一源极(s1)电性连接于数据信号端(Datan),所述第一漏极(d1)电性连接于第二栅极(g2)与存储电容(C1)的上极板;所述存储电容(C1)的下极板接地(GND);所述有机发光二极管(OLED)的阳极电性连接于电源电压输入端(Vdd),有机发光二极管(OLED)的阴极电性连接于第二源极(s2)与第三源极(s3);所述第二漏极(d2)与第三漏极(d3)电性连接后接地(GND),所述第三栅极(g3)电性连接于低电压输入端(Vgl)。
2.如权利要求1所述的面板驱动电路,其特征在于,所述存储电容(C1)存储数据信号端(Datan)输出的灰阶电压信号。
3.如权利要求2所述的面板驱动电路,其特征在于,所述驱动晶体管(T2)的驱动电流为灰阶电流(I1),所述光敏晶体管(T3)的电流为环境光照电流(I2),所述灰阶电流(I1)取决于存储电容(C1)中存储的灰阶电压,所述环境光照电流(I2)取决于环境光照的大小。
4.如权利要求3所述的面板驱动电路,其特征在于,面板的亮度取决于所述灰阶电流(I1)与所述环境光照电流(I2)总和的大小。
5.如权利要求1所述的面板驱动电路,其特征在于,所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、及光敏晶体管(T3)均为薄膜晶体管。
6.一种面板驱动方法,其特征在于,包括:
提供扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、光敏晶体管(T3)、存储电容(C1)、有机发光二极管(OLED)、扫描控制端(Scann)、数据信号端(Datan)、电源电压输入端(Vdd)、及低电压输入端(Vgl);
所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)包括第一栅极(g1)、第一源极(s1)、及第一漏极(d1),所述驱动晶体管(T2)包括第二栅极(g2)、第二源极(s2)、及第二漏极(d2);所述光敏晶体管(T3)包括第三栅极(g3)、第三源极(s3)、及第三漏极(d3);
将第一栅极(g1)电性连接于扫描控制端(Scann),将第一源极(s1)电性连接于数据信号端(Datan),将第一漏极(d1)电性连接于第二栅极(g2)与存储电容(C1)的上极板;将存储电容(C1)的下极板接地(GND);将有机发光二极管(OLED)的阳极电性连接于电源电压输入端(Vdd),有机发光二极管(OLED)的阴极电性连接于第二源极(s2)与第三源极(s3);将第二漏极(d2)与第三漏极(d3)电性连接后接地(GND),将第三栅极(g3)电性连接于低电压输入端(Vgl);
所述驱动晶体管(T2)的驱动电流为灰阶电流(I1),所述光敏晶体管(T3)的电流为环境光照电流(I2),所述灰阶电流(I1)取决于存储电容(C1)中存储的灰阶电压,所述环境光照电流(I2)取决于环境光照的大小;
面板的亮度取决于灰阶电流(I1)与环境光照电流(I2)总和的大小;
当环境光照越强时,环境光照电流(I2)越大,环境光照增加时,环境光照电流(I2)会增大,有机发光二极管(OLED)的亮度随之增加;环境光照减少时,环境光照电流(I2)会减小,有机发光二极管(OLED)的亮度随之降低。
7.如权利要求6所述的面板驱动方法,其特征在于,所述存储电容(C1)存储数据信号端(Datan)输出的灰阶电压信号。
8.如权利要求6所述的面板驱动方法,其特征在于,所述扫描控制晶体管(T1)、驱动晶体管(T2)、及光敏晶体管(T3)均为薄膜晶体管。
