图3B是示出了示例RFID读取器33部件的框图，该读取器包含在无线扫描器11中以根据在此描述的技术用于无线扫描器与基站的自动配对。在这个实例中，RFID读取器33包括发射器36、接收器37、数据解码处理器38、写入器39和天线45。RFID读取器33可用于启动无源RFID标签。该无源标签可包括一个存储装置、一个应答器和一个天线。为启动无源标签，发射器36可通过天线45发送一个启动射频信号，该信号由天线接收用于启动应答器。响应于接收到启动信号，启动应答器以发射射频信号，该射频信号表示编码到无源标签中的标识数据。接收器电路37依次接收来自无源标签的射频信号，并将该数据转换为可处理的数字格式。典型地，RFID读取器33的数据解码处理器38包括一个低成本微处理器，并处理该接收到的射频信号信息以解码当初编码到RFID标签中的标识数据。例如，RFID标签可用于零售商店的待售商品或标识卡(如信用卡或签帐卡)。RFID标签还可用作重配置无线扫描器11的工具，以唯一地与无线扫描器基站21相关联。可在连续读取模式或启动读取模式下操作RFID读取器33。在启动读取模式中，RFID读取器33响应于发起的触发信号而尝试读取并读取来自标签的数据。可将无线扫描器11配置为使得可通过按压执行器31或无线扫描器11的另一个按钮来发起触发信号。
图4是展示可以由在无线扫描器网络10中运行的无线扫描器11执行的处理步骤的流程图。RFID读取无线扫描器11可被配置为：在无线地接收到来自无线扫描器网络10中的多个无线扫描器基站21之一中的RFID标签地址之后，通过触发执行器31进入唯一性关联模式。将在该实例中描述该流程，其中首次将无线扫描器11引入到无线扫描器网络10中，保留之前未获取的RFID标签地址信息或关于无线扫描器网络中任何无线扫描器基站21的任何其他信息，并希望该无线扫描器与无线扫描器基站之一唯一关联地共同操作。
在该模式中，无线扫描器11的控制器8可通过执行初始采样回路(52)开始操作的唯一性关联模式，以确认是否感测到无线扫描器并询问RFID标签来接收来自多个无线扫描器基站21之一的RFID标签地址，该RFID标签地址可以被称为扫描器基站地址。一旦无线扫描器11已接收到RFID标签地址，控制器8可启动指示器19以向使用者通告已获得RFID标签地址。如果无线扫描器11接收到一个扫描器基站地址，则控制器8等待第一预定时间量T1秒(54)，如10秒。在此时间中，无线扫描器11的控制器8确定是否在信号持续时间中接收到来自执行器31的触发信号，该信号持续时间小于第二预定时间量T2秒(56)，如2秒。即，持续小于2秒的执行器31启动可由使用者用作确认该无线扫描器有待与从其读取RFID标签的无线扫描器基站配对。这种确认使得控制器8进入关联模式，在该模式中，控制器建立与无线扫描器基站(58)的通信会话期。如果在小于第一预定时间量T1中没有接收到初始触发，则控制器8将仍处于第一采样回路中。例如，在完成无线扫描器11与无线扫描器基站21的配对操作前的2秒中，控制器8将在获得RFID标签地址之后等待10秒的时间(T1)以接收执行器31的触发信号。
在该唯一性关联模式(58)中，控制器8继续基于从RFID标签获得的扫描器基站地址来管理无线扫描器11和无线扫描器基站21(60)之间的配对通信会话期。例如，来自RFID标签的扫描器基站地址可以是包含无线扫描器基站21的无线地址的转换表的索引。该转换表的每个表项将一个标签地址与网络10中的一个无线扫描器基站21关联，其中无线网络地址或标识符可用于构造与该无线扫描器基站的RF通信会话期。在另一个实例中，无线扫描器基站21的无线地址可包含在RFID标签的数据段中。如果无线扫描器11的控制器8进入到唯一性关联模式(58)并进入操作的正常模式(60)，在此期间中，可由使用者触发执行器31以表明如图2A所示的无线扫描器11的条形码读取器34的获取事件，然后进行条形码扫描操作，在该操作中，在执行器31的每次触发事件之后，无线扫描器向无线扫描器基站21无线地发射条形码数据。例如，该条形码可与零售商店中待售商品有关，其中每个商品的条形码由无线扫描器11扫描，且通过已建立的通信会话期17将产生的条形码数据传送到无线扫描器基站21。
虽然完成与特定无线扫描器基站的配对，无线扫描器11继续该操作直到无线扫描器接收到来自执行器31的触发，这大于第三预定时间量T3(62)，如5秒，在此时刻，控制器退出第二采集回路并返回到第一采集回路(52)。可替代地，在另一个实施方案中，使用者可以指明一旦在大于T3秒(62)的时期中收到触发信号，无线扫描器11的控制器8可以退出唯一关联算法。
已经描述了本发明的多个实施方案。这些或其他实施方案位于以下权利要求书的范围之中。

Claims (18)

1.一种通过RFID对无线扫描器进行配对的方法，包括：
借助安装在一个无线扫描器中的一个射频识别(RFID)读取器模块从安装在多个无线扫描器基站之一中的一个RFID标签上读取一个RFID标签地址；
借助来自安装在该无线扫描器中的RFID读取器模块的该无线扫描器中的一个控制器从附装在该一个无线扫描器基站上的一个RFID标签上接收该RFID标签地址；并且
自动地建立从该无线扫描器到该一个无线扫描器基站的一个无线通信会话期，该一个无线扫描器基站是由来自附装在该一个无线扫描器基站上的RFID标签的该RFID标签地址来指明的；
其中，在读取RFID标签地址之后并且直到预定事件发生之前，禁止询问RFID标签。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，进一步包括：
借助该无线扫描器向一位使用者指明该无线扫描器已经从该一个无线扫描器基站获取了该RFID标签地址；
从该无线扫描器上提示该使用者来确认该使用者同意从该无线扫描器无线地连接至该一个无线扫描器基站上，该一个无线扫描器基站是由来自该一个无线扫描器基站的RFID标签地址来指明的；
从该使用者处接收一个触发信号，该触发信号确认该使用者同意从该无线扫描器无线地连接至该一个无线扫描器基站上，该一个无线扫描器基站是由来自该一个无线扫描器基站的RFID标签地址来指明的；并且
在提示了该使用者之后的一个第一预定时间量内在接收到该触发信号时自动地建立该无线通信会话期，其条件是该触发信号的持续时间是小于一个第二预定时间量。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法，进一步包括：
从安装在该无线扫描器中的该RFID读取器模块上获取来自附装在使用了一个第一RF协议的该一个无线扫描器基站上的该RFID标签的RFID标签地址，该第一RF协议是RFID，并且
使用该RFID标签地址作为用于同该一个无线扫描器基站进行配对的一个标识符。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法，进一步包括：
使用该RFID标签地址作为进入存储在该无线扫描器中的一个转换表的一个索引来为该一个无线扫描器基站选择一个第二RF协议的一个网络地址；并且
使用该第二RF协议的网络地址来建立该无线通信会话期。
5.如权利要求2所述的方法，进一步包括：
借助来自安装在该无线扫描器中的RFID读取器模块的控制器读取来自附装在使用了一个第一RF协议的该一个无线扫描器基站上的该RFID标签的RFID标签地址，该第一RF协议是RFID；
从该RFID标签上为该一个无线扫描器基站读取一个标识地址，其中该地址遵循不同于一个RFID协议的一个第二RF协议；并且
使用该地址来自动地建立该无线通信会话期。
6.如权利要求2所述的方法，进一步包括：
在接收到来自该使用者的触发信号并且建立了该无线通信会话期之后，借助该无线扫描器进入一种操作的唯一关联模式，其中在该唯一性关联模式中该无线扫描器仅向这个已与其自动地建立了通信的无线扫描器基站发射数据。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法，其中在这种操作的唯一性关联模式中，当发起用于向一个外部装置传送解码消息数据的一个网络时，该无线扫描器仅向由该RFID标签地址指明的该一个无线扫描器基站发射数据。
8.如权利要求6所述的方法，进一步包括：借助该无线扫描器监测该触发信号并且如果由该使用者将该触发信号启动而持续超过一个第三预定时间量则从该一个无线扫描器基站上解除连接。
9.如权利要求6所述的方法，进一步包括：如果当在一种解除连接状态中由来自该使用者的触发信号启动以便连接到该一个无线扫描器基站上，则使用来自该一个无线扫描器基站的RFID标签地址尝试重新连接到该一个无线扫描器基站上。
10.一种在具有多个无线扫描器基站的无线网络中使用的无线扫描器，这些无线扫描器基站位于该无线扫描器外部，该无线扫描器包括：
一个射频收发器；
一个射频识别(RFID)读取器；
连接到该射频收发器以及该RFID读取器上的一个控制器；以及
封装该射频收发器、该RFID读取器以及该控制器的一个外部壳体，
其中，该控制器借助安装在该无线扫描器中的RFID读取器从与多个无线扫描器基站之一相关联的一个RFID标签上读取一个RFID标签地址，并且
其中，该控制器自动地建立从该无线扫描器到该一个无线扫描器基站的一个无线通信会话期，该一个无线扫描器基站是由来自附接到该一个无线扫描器基站上的该RFID标签的RFID标签地址指明的；
其中，在读取RFID标签地址之后并且直到预定事件发生之前，禁止询问RFID标签。
11.如权利要求10所述的无线扫描器，进一步包括：
一个执行器；以及
一个指示器；
其中该控制器启动该指示器以便通知一位使用者该无线扫描器已经从该一个无线扫描器基站获取了该RFID标签地址，
其中该控制器提示该使用者来确认该使用者同意从该无线扫描器到由来自该一个无线扫描器基站的RFID标签地址指明的该一个无线扫描器基站的无线连接，并且
其中该控制器在从该使用者接收到一个触发信号时自动地建立该无线通信会话期，该触发信号确认该使用者同意从该无线扫描器到由来自该一个无线扫描器基站的RFID标签地址指明的该一个无线扫描器基站的无线连接。
12.如权利要求11所述的无线扫描器，其中，该控制器借助该指示器提示该使用者来触发该执行器、并且在小于第一预定时间量中接收到该触发信号时自动地建立该无线通信会话期，其条件是该执行器被触发了小于一个第二预定时间量的持续时间。
13.如权利要求10所述的无线扫描器，
其中该控制器从使用了一个第一RF协议的该无线扫描器基站的RFID标签中获得了该RFID标签地址，
其中该控制器使用该RFID标签地址作为进入存储在该无线扫描器中的一个转换表的一个索引以便选择一个第二RF协议的网络地址用于根据该第二RF协议建立与该无线扫描器基站的该无线通信会话期。
14.如权利要求10所述的无线扫描器，其中，该控制器读取来自RFID标签的一个第二RF协议的一个网络地址，以便用于根据该第二RF协议建立与该无线扫描器基站的该无线通信会话期。
15.如权利要求10所述的无线扫描器，
其中，该无线扫描器在自动地建立与该无线扫描器基站的该无线通信会话期时进入一种操作的唯一性关联模式，
其中，在该唯一性关联模式中，该无线扫描器仅向已与其自动地建立了通信的无线扫描器基站发射数据。
16.如权利要求15所述的无线扫描器，其中，在该操作的唯一性关联模式中，当为了向一个外部装置发射解码消息数据而发起一个网络时该无线扫描器仅向由该RFID标签地址指明的该一个无线扫描器基站发射数据。
17.如权利要求16所述的无线扫描器，进一步包括：如果由使用者启动的触发信号持续了大于一个第三预定时间量，则借助该无线扫描器监测该触发信号并且从该一个无线扫描器基站上解除连接。
18.如权利要求16所述的无线扫描器，进一步包括：如果当处于解除连接的状态时由来自使用者的触发信号启动而连接到该一个无线扫描器基站上，则该无线扫描器使用来自该一个无线扫描器基站的RFID标签地址尝试重新连接到该一个无线扫描器基站上。
