技术领域
本发明涉及红色磷光体及其在照明应用中的用途,特别是在发光二极管照明器件中的用途。
技术背景
磷光体转换LED(pcLED)使用蓝色LED芯片作为光源和一种或多种磷光体,以产生白光。基于pcLED技术的器件将成为固态照明应用中一般用途的基础器件。然而,为了达到固态照明市场的性能规格,仍需要显著进步。
pcLED器件使用蓝色LED芯片产生的发射光谱激发其所包含的磷光体,从而从单个LED形成白光发射。蓝色LED芯片产生的发射光谱激发所包含的磷光体,该磷光体再产生发射光谱,该发射光谱与蓝色LED芯片的发射光谱合并,产生了白光。重要地,人们认识到蓝色LED芯片以及所包含的磷光体的颜色调节对pcLED器件的效果和优化至关重要。因此,人们不断需要开发磷光体,以使pcLED器件产品具有增强的颜色调节能力。
另外,常规pcLED器件设计中使用的磷光体位于紧邻蓝色LED光源的位置。因此,在产生光的过程中,这些磷光体受到升高的温度。高功率LED芯片具有的结温通常为100-150℃。在这种升高的温度下,磷光体的晶体处于高振动激发态。当处于这种高振动激发态时,激发能可以通过不发光驰豫产生额外的热,而不是产生希望的来自磷光体的光发射。这种热生成加剧了上述情况,导致恶性循环,使得现有pcLED器件无法达到固态照明市场行业规定的性能规格。因此,成功开发一般照明的pcLED器件需要识别能够在100-150℃温度下高效运行的磷光体。
由于pcLED器件中开发的基于氮化物的磷光体在高温下具有优异的发光性能,人们提出将其用于pcLED器件。这种基于氮化物的磷光体的例子包括基于金属氮化硅的磷光体。这些磷光体材料的基质晶体主要由Si-N、Al-N化学键及其混合键作为基质晶体结构的骨架构成。尽管这些键是稳定的,硅和碳之间的化学键(Si-C)具有较高的键能,因此具有较高的热稳定性和化学稳定性。另外,碳与许多金属原子形成非常稳定的化学键。
然而,在晶态磷光体材料中引入碳或碳化物之前被认为对发光性能是不利的。各种金属碳化物通常的深色体色可能会成为发射光的吸收源或猝灭源。另外,在使用碳或碳化物作为前体的特定磷光体制备中,所残留的未反应的残余碳或碳化物会减小磷光体的发射强度。
碳(负)氮化物(carbidonitride)磷光体可由基质晶体中的碳、硅、锗、氮、铝、硼和其它金属,以及一种或多种金属掺杂剂作为发光激活体组成。近来该类磷光体已成为能够将近UV(nUV)或蓝光转换成可见光谱范围内的其它光(例如蓝光、绿光、黄光、橙光和红光)的颜色转换器。碳(负)氮化物磷光体的基质晶体由-N-Si-C-、-N-Si-N-和-C-Si-C-网络组成,其中Si-C和Si-N强共价键作为所述结构的主要结构单元。通常,由Si-C键形成的网络结构在整个可见光光谱区具有强吸收,因此以前认为其不适合用作高效磷光体的基质材料。
在某些碳(负)氮化物磷光体中,所述碳能够增强而不是猝灭磷光体的发光,特别是当磷光体受到较高温度(例如200-400℃)时。某些碳(负)氮化硅磷光体的反射率在所需发光光谱波长范围内随碳量增加而增大。据报道,这些碳(负)氮化物的磷光体具有优异的发射热稳定性和高的发射效率。

优选通过干法、湿法或干/湿法的组合将选择的源材料的组合进行混合。
在一种优选的干混合法中,优选对选择的源材料的组合进行研磨和掺混。例如,使用研钵和研杵对选择的源材料的组合进行手动研磨和掺混。可以先(使用例如带式掺混机、V型掺混机或高速混合机)将所选源材料的组合进行混合,再(使用例如锤磨机、辊式研磨机、球磨机或喷射研磨机)对其进行分别干法研磨或一起干法研磨。
在一种优选的湿混合法中,优选将所选源材料的组合加到液体(如丙酮或乙醇)中,然后使用湿法研磨机进行粉碎和混合。然后通过例如干燥或喷雾干燥从液体中将经湿法研磨的源材料提取出来。
在一种优选的干/湿法中,优选使用研钵和研杵对所选源材料的组合进行手动研磨和掺混。可以首先(使用例如锤磨机、辊式研磨机、球磨机或喷射研磨机)对所选源材料的组合分别进行干法研磨或将其一起进行干法研磨。然后将经研磨的源材料与液体(如丙酮或乙醇)混合以促进混合。然后从液体中提取经混合的源材料,以便通过例如干燥或喷雾干燥进行进一步处理。
然后对源材料的混合物进行烧制。通常将源材料的混合物置于耐热性容器中,所述耐热性容器优选由在加工条件下其反应性小于源材料混合物的材料制成。源材料混合物在烧制过程中接触的温度优选为1600-2000℃。在烧制过程中优选将源材料混合物保持在等于或大于大气压的压力下。
在整个烧制过程中,优选将源材料混合物保持在高纯度气氛中。对于烧制过程中存在的气氛没有具体的限制;但是,优选还原性气氛。烧制过程中存在的气氛优选选自下组:氮气、氩气、一氧化碳、氢气及其混合物。烧制过程中存在的气氛最优选是氮气与氢气的高纯度的混合物。
烧制时间可根据烧制温度和烧制压力而变化。优选烧制时间为10分钟至24小时(更优选为4-16小时;最优选为8-12小时)。
任选地,可对经烧制的材料进行研磨、筛分和再烧制。这种研磨、筛分和再烧制过程可任选重复多次。
烧制之后,根据需要,优选地对经烧制的材料进行研磨、筛分、洗涤和干燥。优选用酸洗涤经烧制的材料,然后用去离子水洗涤。优选对经烧制的材料进行研磨、筛分以除去不利的细粒和聚集体,然后分散在水性酸溶液(优选是酸浓度为0.5-4摩尔/升的稀酸)中。所用水性酸溶液优选选自下组:盐酸、氢氟酸、硫酸和硝酸。最优选所用水性酸溶液为盐酸。然后,优选用去离子水对该材料进行进一步洗涤。用酸洗涤能优选地从磷光体组合物中除去没有结合到式(1)表示的无机化合物晶体结构中的原材料组分、不需要的副产物和助熔剂组分(如卤化物和碱土金属)。然后优选对经洗涤的材料进行干燥。然后优选对经干燥的材料进行筛分以除去任何细粒和尺寸过大的材料。
可任选地对经干燥的材料进行进一步处理,以提供具有表面处理剂的本发明的磷光体组合物。
可任选地将经干燥的材料分散到液体载体中,以形成本发明的磷光体组合物。
本发明的用于发射白光的照明设备包括:至少一个光源,其中所述光源产生具有源发光光谱的光;和第一源发光光谱改性剂,其中所述第一源发光光谱改性剂是本发明的红色磷光体;并且所述红色磷光体与所述光源辐射相连。本发明的照明设备可包括多个光源。

式(1)的无机化合物的制备
通过用表2中所示量的原料进行固态反应来制备比较例C1和实施例1-9的各实例中式(1)表示的无机化合物。事先采用标准氮化技术由对应的金属来制备实施例中使用的金属氮化物。在各实例中,以粉末形式提供表2所示的原料,对其进行称量,在手套箱中在干燥的氮气气氛中将其物理混合在一起并用研钵和研杵进行研磨,以形成均匀的粉末混合物。然后将粉末混合物装入烧制坩埚中,在高纯氮气/氢气气氛下置于高温炉中。然后将该粉末混合物在1550-2000℃温度下加热8-12小时。从烧制坩埚中取出所得材料,使用研钵和研杵研磨,用100-400目筛进行筛分。然后在室温下用酸和去离子水对粉末进行洗涤,以提供产物无机化合物。

各产物无机化合物在用光源激发时具有发射光谱(即,峰值位于453毫米的发光二极管(LED)灯,使用海洋光学公司(Ocean Optics)的海洋光学USB4000光谱仪分析其发射)。对于各无机化合物从发射光谱测定的峰值波长Pλ磷光体和发射峰的半峰全宽FWHM示于表3中。
按照CIE13.3-1995中所述的方法,当受到来自LED光源的发射激发时,由380-780纳米波长范围的发射光谱计算各无机化合物在CIE13.3-1995规定的XYZ色体系中的色坐标CIEx和CIEy。对无机化合物测定的色坐标示于表3中。
通过以下方法测定实施例中各产物无机化合物的内量子效率:将无机化合物的样品装填到小池中,将该小池安装在积分球中,然后将该无机化合物暴露于光源发射的光。具体来说,通过光管引导光源产生的光,通过窄带通滤光器过滤,以提供波长为453纳米的单色光,然后将该单色光导向无机化合物。使用海洋光学公司的海洋光学USB4000光谱仪测量以下光的光谱:积分球中的无机化合物在用光源发出的光激发时所发射的光以及该无机化合物所反射的光。通过装填到基于最大可能的功效为683流明/瓦的LED中来测定发光效率。通过积分发射光谱面积/激发光谱面积来测定发射百分比。这些值中的每一个都示于表3中。图1-3分别显示按照比较例C1、实施例3和实施例8制备的无机化合物的发射光谱。

使用PANalytical X’pert X射线粉末衍射仪利用Ni-滤光的CuKα辐射在45千伏/40毫安条件下通过X射线衍射(2θ扫描)对根据实施例1制备的无机化合物进行分析。以0.02的步幅和1秒/步的计数时间从10-80°对样品进行扫描(2θ扫描)。实施例1的扫描结果见图4。
使用JY公司(Jobin Yvon)的SPEX Fluorlog2光谱仪观察每种产物无机化合物在用峰值为467纳米的氙灯激发时具有的反射光谱和其发射光谱。图5显示了比较例C1和实施例1-3所观察到的反射光谱。图6显示实施例5和8所观察到的反射光谱。
使用海洋光学USB2000和定制的加热器对根据比较例C1和实施例1-3、5和8制备的无机化合物的热猝灭性质进行了评价。图7显示了比较例C1和实施例1-3所观察到的热猝灭分析结果。图8显示了实施例7和8所观察到的热猝灭分析结果。
Claims (7)
1.一种红色磷光体,其包含:
式(2)表示的无机化合物
Lie(CaaSrb)fAlgSijNuCxOwHv:zA (2)
其中,A是至少一种发光激活体;H是单价卤素阴离子;0<e<0.05;0.1≤a≤0.3;0.7≤b≤0.9;(a+b)<1;0.75≤f≤0.9;0.8≤g≤0.91;j=1;1.5≤u≤2.5;0.2≤x≤0.7;0.001<w≤0.5;0.9*{(3z/2)-(v/2)}≤w≤1.1*{(3z/2)-(v/2)};0<v≤0.05;0<(x+w)<3;x≠w;并且0.001<z≤0.01。
2.如权利要求1所述的红色磷光体,其特征在于,A是Eu2+。
3.如权利要求1所述的红色磷光体,其特征在于,所述红色磷光体在受到来自满足以下条件的光源激发时具有峰值波长Pλ磷光体为600-660纳米的发射光谱,所述光源具有峰值波长Pλ源为200-600纳米的发射光谱。
4.如权利要求1所述的红色磷光体,该红色磷光体还包含表面处理剂;其中所述表面处理剂施加在所述无机化合物的表面上。
5.一种磷光体组合物,其包含:如权利要求1所述的红色磷光体;以及液体载体;其中所述红色磷光体分散在所述液体载体中。
6.一种发射白光的照明设备,其包括:
光源,其中所述光源产生具有源发光光谱的光;以及
第一源发光光谱改性剂,其中所述第一源发光光谱改性剂是如权利要求1所述的红色磷光体;
其中所述红色磷光体与所述光源辐射相连。
7.如权利要求6所述的照明设备,其特征在于,所述源发光光谱的峰值波长Pλ源为200-600纳米;并且,所述红色磷光体在受到光源产生的光激发之后,产生峰值波长Pλ磷光体为600-660纳米的发射光谱。
