在制造多节段过滤嘴的机器中,需要供给来自多个供给设备的多个不同的过滤嘴节段。已知的节段供给设备中的其中一种是用于供给成组过滤嘴节段的设备,其中利用设有圆刀的切割头切割在鼓上传送的一个过滤嘴棒形成一组节段。从专利GB1043706中已知一种设有安装在刀轴上的多个圆刀的可拆卸切割头,而借助于布置在切割头的壳体内的齿轮实现动力传输和刀轴的联接。圆刀的更换需要拆除其上安装有刀的刀轴,而在将轴推出壳体的过程中,刀相继地从该轴滑落并且保持在壳体内。为了安装新的圆刀,刀轴被推入壳体,然后刀被相继地放在部分插入壳体中的轴上。
