技术领域

背景技术
玻璃熔炉,包括那些生产能力最大的熔炉、即给生产平板玻璃的“浮法”生产线供料的炉子,一般都配备使用矿物燃料和空气的燃烧器。鉴于能量消耗巨大,选择这种能源是出于经济原因。作为提示,日产玻璃600和900吨之间的常规熔炉需要大约50至80兆瓦的可用功率。
使用这些炉子不仅导致巨大的能源消耗,而且还导致非常可观的燃烧产生的气体(下称“燃烧气体”)的排放。出于这些原因,为了最大可能地降低能源成本及处理这些燃烧气体的成本,人们一直在做努力。
目前最普遍的将空气作为助燃剂的做法不会使能源消耗达到最低,因为空气中的氮也被提升到很高的温度,并因此吸收燃烧释放的相当部分的能量,一部分能量被丢失,尽管烟被回收。此外,氮的存在以众所周知的方式导致氧化物的形成,而氧化物是酸雨的成因。

然而氧气的系统运用遇到了实际应用上和经济上的困难。对于经济困难,首先是所需氧气的成本。能量分配的收益应该不仅是补偿氧气的附加成本。特定设备的投资在系统的经济性中也很重要,这涉及到燃烧器、供气或者如下面要探讨的交换器。实际上,这些大规模系统的氧气连续供给需要现场的生产设备或输气管线,两者都会导致巨大的投资。
鉴于使用氧气或富氧气体要承担的费用,在这些玻璃熔炉中,为了达到令人满意的经济平衡,必须优化所进行的选择。
最佳的能量分配需要使燃烧器以氧气和预热的燃料来工作,这种预热使用至少一部分燃烧气体。
尽管使用热氧气是极力推荐的,但无论是设备结构还是其运转,实施上都需要新的方案。用于燃烧器的空气传统上都在换热器中预热。这里涉及衬有耐火材料的塔,首先在第一阶段,让燃烧气体在塔内通过以加热耐火材料,然后在第二阶段,让燃烧中使用的空气通过,以便得到再加热。这些时间上的交替使炉子的结构非常特殊。燃烧器就这样处于融化池的两边,和与其相连且通常位于工作燃烧器相对一边的换热器一样。
不可能用换热器来再加热氧气。换热器一般都处于燃烧气体携带的微粒沉淀处,即使这些气体事先经过除尘。热氧气与这些沉淀物的接触并不是没有危险的。此外,很难保证这些换热器的良好密封。空气流经以及可能的泄漏没有危险,但涉及到氧气就不同了。
热交换器的使用还提出了与热氧气接触的材料耐受性的棘手问题。面对这些困难,并且鉴于经济上的制约,在大容量玻璃熔炉这样的大型设备中,热氧气的使用尚未找到有意义的应用。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的是提出一些方案,使得氧气或富含热氧气的气体在玻璃熔炉、特别是大容量炉子的燃烧器中的应用具有吸用力。本发明还提出一些方案,使得这种运用足够可靠,尽管使用高温氧气伴随的是特殊的技术要求。
与氧气使用相关的风险从温度上升时开始出现,发明人将所有的注意力集中在与这种热氧气接触的装置上,并且特别是交换器,这些交换器密闭了大量氧气,并且由于维护或修理干预的困难,其结构必须使其能够在很长时期内无故障地运转。
前面与热氧气使用相关的考虑也适用于气体混合物,特别是与空气的混合物,其中的氧气含量足够高。实际上,为了使这些混合气体的使用具有优势,其氧气含量要不低于50%。该条件适用于下面描述的本发明。最好,本发明应用于氧气含量至少为80%的气体混合物。
根据本发明,用于供给炉子燃烧器的氧气或富氧气体的加热在交换器中进行,交换器的交换功率被有意限制,不会使氧气或富氧气体达到的温度降到最低。
为了充分享受能量分配的好处,交换器出口处的氧气或富氧气体的温度不低于300℃,并且最好不低于400℃,并且根据本发明,为了使氧气达到这些温度,交换器内的交换功率在20和300千瓦之间,最好在40和250千瓦之间,并且特别最好是在80和170千瓦之间。
功率低于推荐功率是不经济的,并且会使系统竞争力低下。更高的功率可能会在这些交换器使用的方便性并且特别是安全性方面造成困难。
在传统的玻璃熔炉中,至少对于那些大容量的炉子,所使用的燃烧器的功率很大,大约为1至6兆瓦,造成的氧气消耗大约为每小时200至1200Nm3氧气。
考虑到在这些炉子中使用的每个燃烧器的功率以及因此而导致的消耗,根据本发明的交换器只与少量的燃烧器相连。每个交换器有利地同时只为最多三个不同的燃烧器供给热氧气或富氧气体,每个燃烧器根据如EP1194719介绍的方式可具有多个喷口。
这种增加交换器的配置,由于限制了每个交换器的尺寸和容量,以及明显限制了交换器下游直至燃烧器的管道长度,而保证了设备的最佳安全性。
为了在经济方面占据优势,根据本发明实施的交换器最好尺寸有限,这就要求有很好确定的运转方式,并且特别是在保持交换面积尽可能小的同时,其运转使得可以获得所需功率。
根据本发明,用于加热氧气或富氧气体的交换器的氧气与交换壁接触面积的单位面积功率有利地在5和15千瓦/平方米之间,最好在7和12千瓦/平方米之间。所考虑的面积是将氧气或富氧气体与载热气体隔开的壁的面积。
根据本发明使用的交换器的结构必须尽可能简单,以避免腐蚀和泄漏的危险,因为热氧气对使用的材料有侵蚀性。为方便起见,根据本发明的交换器最好是管形的,氧气或富氧气体在一束管中流动,管外面流动的是载热气体。
为了保证上面指出的功率,并且特别是单位面积功率,同时保持这些面积尽可能小,必须使热交换条件最佳化。
促进这种交换的第一种方法在于提高气体、特别是氧气或富氧气体的循环速度。然而,在这方面,必须再一次考虑到提高速度是一个危险因素。由于热氧气可带来微粒,使得这种危险更明显,微粒可与氧气发生反应,并且/或者对壁的冲击会促使腐蚀加快,这是氧气本身的摩擦导致的腐蚀以外的。
根据本发明,考虑到这种危险,交换器元件的尺寸有利地确实成,为了获得必要的功率,氧气或富氧气体的速度在交换器的任何一点都不得大于120米/秒,并且最好不大于100米/秒。
除了氧气的温度和速度外,人们知道,着火的危险还特别取决于压力。虽然压力上升导致交换器内的容积乃至速度下降,但这种性质的改变还受到所涉及炉内可使用的燃烧器的工作特性的影响。实际上,在热氧气通过交换器之后及抵达燃烧器之前,要对热氧气进行减压是很棘手的。由于其性质,它不能安全地通过减压器,即使用膜片实现该操作也不建议,原因始终是其侵蚀性。为了保持适当的流量,燃烧器喷口处的强压力会导致喷口开度的减小。这是不希望的,因为这些喷口有污浊和/磨损的危险,这会迅速导致运行故障。
为了考虑这些因素,根据本发明的交换器的尺寸确定成,对于寻求的功率,交换器内氧气或富氧气体的压力不超过3巴,并且最好不超过2巴,特别是最好为1.5巴。
对这些设备工作方式的研究显示,最佳能量分配必须使助燃剂和燃料达到很高的温度。气体必须达到的温度与所使用的设备允许达到的温度一样高。
尽管就燃烧器的效率而言,使氧气达到最高温度是有利的,但实际上,这些最高温度一方面受到参与交换的载热流体的温度限制,另一方面受到必须限制与氧气接触的材料侵蚀或者甚至着火的危险的限制。
用于加热氧气或富氧气体的能量供给来自燃烧气体,或者直接通过在交换器内的循环,或者最好间接地通过一种流体,流体本身通过与燃烧气体的交换被预先再加热。
这后一种处理方式在氧气循环中出现密封故障的情况下具有附加的安全性。它还可避免交换器的迅速阻塞,因为燃烧气体带有大量很难完全分离的灰尘。
在这种双重交换的可能性中,中间气体相对于氧气有利地是惰性的。它最好是空气、氮、CO2、水蒸气或这些气体的混合物。
必要时中间气体可由上面提到的惰性气体的混合物和一部分预先除尘的燃烧气体构成。
烟的温度可高达1550℃,并且经常处于1250和1450℃之间,并且高于氧气能够达到的、且不会过分损坏与其接触的壁的材料的温度。
对于具有双重交换的设备,载热流体由空气构成,空气被燃烧气体加热后的温度最好在450和1000℃之间,并且特别最好是在600和800℃之间。
正如发明人的研究所表明的,构成热交换器的材料的腐蚀随温度而迅速上升,所以最好使氧气保持在防止过度腐蚀的条件下。
事实上,从热交换器出来的热氧气或富氧气体的温度处于一些极限内,对于这些极限,根据本发明进行的材料选择可避免设备的过度腐蚀。该温度一般不超过900℃,并且最好是最高700℃。
交换器的构成材料的选择,且首先是那些与热氧气接触的材料的选择,必须保证在这些温度条件下对气体、并且特别是氧气的氧化具有良好的耐受性。
最常用的钢材的强度是不够的。因此必须进行特别严格的挑选,以保证设备的耐久性。
在材料的选择中,不仅要考虑能耐受这些设备中达到的最高温度,而且还要考虑对较低温度的耐久性,这种较低温度可以导致材料状态的变化,使其对可能的损害特别敏感。在温度上升时,某些钢材特别要经过使金属脆化(称为“脆变”的现象)的过渡温度区域。
所寻求的强度包括多个方面。不仅要防止燃烧形式的材料过度氧化,而且还要防止与氧气接触的表面变化,这种变化不仅最终会导致壁穿孔,而且在某些情况下,还要预防微粒的脱落,这些微粒可能会干扰以后的反应和/或污染用该热氧气维持的燃烧所准备的产品。
在任何情况下,其中循环着富氧气体的设备必须用对这些特别侵蚀性的气体具有必要的耐受性的材料来实现,温度、速度和压力越高,越要如此。
为了使用于加热氧气或富氧气体的交换器能够长期满足上述使用条件,本发明人确定了这些构成材料所必须满足的特点。
一般地,根据本发明,必须接受包含至少50%的氧气、温度不低于300℃的气体的交换器至少对于直接与这些气体接触的壁,由满足下面试验报告的一种金属合金构成。
将一个根据本发明的金属合金样品,放在与要在设备中循环的富氧气体及与设备中达到的最高温度相对应的环境中,在1000个周期后,其暴露表面的重量增加不超过0.1毫克/平方厘米,每个周期都将样品在规定的最高温度保持1小时,该温度的每个阶段之后返回到环境温度。
选择反复通过高温后回到环境温度是特别苛刻的。特别是金属结构会遇到重复的相变,这种相变会产生最大应力,并且损坏的危险因此上升。实际上,该试验让金属经受的考验要大于工业交换器本身使用中承受的考验,工业交换器是用于连续工作的,这种工作只会偶然中断,以进行时间间隔尽量长的维护作业。
如前面指出的,玻璃炉燃烧器的供给用氧气含量最好高于80%、并且可达到100%的气体实现,上面的试验应该有利地满足这些氧气含量条件。
为了更好地保证交换器的寿命,选择的金属合金经受同样的试验,但规定的试验温度至少为500℃,并且为了满足面对的极端条件,合金要满足这样的试验,即最高试验温度至少为600℃,甚至可使该试验的温度达到800℃。
作为补充,最适合用于实现根据本发明的交换器的合金,在对应标准ASTM G-124的氧化环境的自燃试验中,对这种燃烧的承受可至少达到3巴的压力,并且最好至少达到10巴的压力。
当用于高于550℃的温度范围时,可有利地使用并很好满足腐蚀试验的合金包括铁素体型的不锈合金,其铬的含量在重量的12%和30%之间,并且同时含有1%至8%的铝。
对于铁素体合金,当它们处于400和500℃的温度范围之间时会脆化(脆变)。为此,这些合金的使用必须考虑所涉及的零件和交换器内的条件,特别是温度。
暴露在热氧气下的交换器部分还可以用富含镍和铬的合金实现,并且镍含量高于重量的25%,同时含有10%至30%的铬。镍含量可高达75%或更高。
这些合金彼此不同,尤其是在机械性能方面。此外,在选择中,可能必须考虑所针对用途的自身限制。尽管镍含量高的合金工作良好,在平板玻璃的生产设备中,应该考虑由镍的存在造成的危险,必须仔细避免可能的颗粒夹带,因为在玻璃板中有形成硫化镍而造成破碎的危险。
这些合金通过形成氧化铬或氧化铝保护层很好地耐受高温腐蚀。合金的铬含量必须足够高,以阻止迅速增加的氧化镍结核的形成,而可能夹带的氧化镍结核会在玻璃板中形成造成破碎的硫化镍。
对于高于500℃的氧气温度范围,并且特别是在500和700℃之间,最好使用铬含量仅为10%至20%的合金,并且特别最好是在10%和16%之间。满足所述要求的富含镍的合金特别是那些通常称为Inconel600H、600L、Incoloy800H的合金。
对于高于100℃的氧气温度范围,并且特别是在100和600℃之间,最好使用铬含量高于16%的合金,并且特别最好是在20%和30%之间。满足所述要求的富含镍的合金特别是那些通常称为Inconel600H、600L,601、617、625、Incoloy800H和800HT的合金。
还可以使用诸如不锈钢316L和310这样的合金,加工方便,但寿命不能很好保证。
如果氧化度很高的高温气体的循环速度是腐蚀危险的一个因素,那么这种腐蚀由于这些气体携带的微粒而增加。最初气体中没有固体微粒,但这些微粒可来自设备本身。经受这些气体腐蚀的管道和热交换器的壁事实上可以释放微粒,微粒对下游元件的冲击也会产生侵蚀,气体的速度越高,侵蚀就越严重。
交换器的壁的表面状态可能会影响抗腐蚀性。在其它条件相同的情况下,表面的非均匀性越明显,合金的腐蚀就越严重。为此,根据本发明,与富氧气体接触的交换器壁的表面被抛光,并且粗糙度不超过6微米(μ)。最好,粗糙度低于4μ并且有利地最多等于2μ。

具体实施方式
交换器的总体结构是气体交换器的传统类型。它具有一个外壳1,包住一束管2。管通过板3、4固定在外壳内。
板构成密封壁,限定载热气体在其内循环的外壳区域。
外壳的端部通过两个盖5、6关闭。这些盖通过法兰7、8、9、10和密封圈以密封方式固定在外壳上。必要时这些法兰可以拆卸,以便可触及到管2的端部。
为了尽可能地获得最佳交换,载热气体及氧气或富氧气体的循环有利地以对流方式进行。热的载热气体通过管道11进入外壳,并且在流经外壳内由导流板13、14、15设置的回路后,通过管道12出来。
氧气或富氧气体沿着基本直线的线路在管2内循环。它由端部16进去时是冷的,而从端部17出来是热的,以便导入燃烧器。
循环速度越高,交换越有效。然而,氧气的速度和压力必须保持在保证装置安全工作的极限内。必须避免氧气循环导致与其接触的壁的过度侵蚀。可以使氧气在流动中不碰撞壁。因此直管的使用限制了侵蚀。
管2端部的布置见图2。
为了避免管端部的紊流,以及这些管的通常通过焊接与板4进行连接的部位的侵蚀加剧的危险,这些管的末端有一个扩口部分。该布置有利于氧气的流动及其膨胀,由此一定的减速。图中,该扩口为带有开口角α的截锥形。
出于同样的原因,盖子、且特别是位于氧气出口的盖子6距离管2的端部有一定距离。这样,沿盖子壁的氧气速度比管出口处的速度明显降低。
该盖子6总体形状的选择还要使得热氧气沿使冲击最小化的小的入射角碰到盖子壁。盖子壁相对于管2的方向形成一个例如约20至30度的角。盖子的截面逐步缩小,直至与输出管道连接。
有利的是在该部分避免锐角或焊接。
管的尺寸及其分布使得对于所实施的流量,要满足前述的速度和压力条件。
交换器需要在很长时期内连续运转,尽管有旨在避免其构件损坏的预防措施,但还是可能出现一个管不再具备所需的密封性。交换器的组装方式要使得出故障的管能够在两端被封堵。操作时需拆下盖子。在停止使用故障管后,交换器可以重新使用,其效率根据剩下的有效管的数量略有变化。
交换器盖子的法兰9、10处、或者这些盖子与氧气输入或输出管道连接处的密封有利地通过金属的环形密封圈18获得,并配以耐氧气的材料19、20。该材料例如为云母,或者可压缩矿物材料。这种类型的密封圈特别是由Garlock公司生产,商品名为“Vitafex”。
为了确定满足本发明实施条件的合金,本发明人进行了下面描述的试验。
用于这些试验的样品由20×20毫米、厚2毫米的金属合金板构成。
样品的表面状态对于氧化的敏感性显示出明确的重要性。为此,每个板的一面用达到1200粒度的SiC砂纸抛光。另一面为原始状态,即工业轧制后的状态。
试验用的合金样品的重量组成见下表:
样品的氧化程度在一千个周期的试验后通过其质量的增加来测定。不同温度水平的结果见下表:
从这些试验可注意到,温度水平越高,氧化越严重。在550℃时,所有情况下的增加量都大大低于0.1毫克/平方厘米。在650℃时,只有一个样品达到该值。在800℃时,强度最大的样品是合金样品IV和V。
样品的金相观察显示,样品抛光面的氧化趋势要小得多。
上面的测量同时包括样品两个面的氧化。由于只有一个面抛光,得到的氧化测量结果因此高于在实际中看到的、与氧气接触的面是抛光的情况。
由于试验是以静态方式进行的,换句话说,没有大气相对于样品的流动,所以没有出现从表面脱落的“氧化皮”。
对表面成分的变化、特别是对铬含量减少的分析是一种可脱落微粒的形成的风险评估方法。含量不低于7%的铬的存在可保证形成保护层,防止氧化皮的形成。
下面表中的测量值显示出铬的含量大大高于这些值。在试验水平为标出的最大温度的1000个试验周期后,样品表面(S)和心部(C)的重量百分比的分析得出的结果示于下表:
鉴于所涉及环境的性质,材料的使用必须满足严格的安全条件。为此,按照标准ASTM G124的规定,对纯氧情况下达到高温的材料燃烧的危险进行评估。
在这些试验中,置于加压氧气环境中的材料棒经受燃烧试验。这些试验的结果显示,在550℃和3巴的压力下,没有一个样品燃烧。
当压力或温度上升时,燃烧的趋势增加。合金III对该试验最敏感。
对于前面考虑的温度,压力一般不应该超过10巴,不管选择哪种合金。在该条件下,按标准进行的试验显示,在供给富氧气体的设备中的使用不会导致燃烧的危险。
根据这些热氧气耐受试验的结果,特别有意义的是,在根据本发明的交换器中,壁的厚度可以比现有技术所允许的要薄。基于这些结果的寿命模拟可得到根据本发明的交换器的管壁,其厚度可以不超过3毫米。该厚度甚至可以等于或小于2.5毫米。
交换器的管壁的较薄的厚度有利于热传递,并因而提高相同交换面积的可用功率。
作为实例,一个根据本发明的交换器按以下方式构成。它由一束40个Inconel600管构成。管的外径为17.2毫米,而壁厚为2.3毫米。管的长度为4000毫米。
与氧气接触的交换面积为8.4平方米。
来自第一个交换器的载热气体(除尘空气)以650℃的温度进入交换器。载热气体的流量为750Nm3/小时。氧气的流量为400Nm3/小时。以环境温度进入的氧气被加热至550℃。
管道内的氧气速度为67米/秒,交换器内的压力损失低于0.15巴。安全系统包括一个控压器,将交换器内的压力保持在低于1巴。
交换器的额定功率为84千瓦,单位面积的功率确定为9.7千瓦/平方米。
交换器为功率为2兆瓦的玻璃熔炉的一个燃烧器供给氧气。
整个炉子由10个尺寸相似的交换器供氧。每个交换器的功率都经过调整,以最佳地分配炉子运转所需的总功率。
Claims (35)
1.用于供给氧气或含有至少50%的氧气的气体混合物的热交换器,交换器出口处的温度不低于300℃,氧气或富氧气体供给一个玻璃熔炉的一个或多个燃烧器,燃烧气体的热量直接或间接地用于加热交换器内的氧气或富氧气体,其中,交换功率在20和300千瓦之间,并且,氧气或富氧气体的加热通过燃烧气体以间接方式进行,两者之间的第一次交换通过一种中间载热气体进行,然后后者被导入交换器用于加热氧气或富氧气体,载热气体由一种对氧气呈惰性的气体构成。
2.根据权利要求1所述的交换器,其中,与氧气或富氧气体接触的交换面积的单位面积功率在5和15千瓦/平方米之间。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的交换器,其供应炉子的最多三个燃烧器。
4.根据权利要求3所述的交换器,其为管型,其中,氧气或富氧气体在管内循环,管的外壁与一载热气体接触。
5.根据权利要求4所述的交换器,其中,输送氧气或富氧气体的管的总截面使得在这些管内的最高速度不超过120米/秒。
6.根据权利要求5所述的交换器,其中,氧气或富氧气体的压力维持在低于3巴。
7.根据权利要求6所述的交换器,其中,与氧气或富氧气体接触的表面经过抛光,使得其粗糙度不超过6μ。
8.根据权利要求7所述的交换器,其中,其内循环氧气或富氧气体的管基本是直线的,且其壁的厚度不大于3毫米。
9.根据权利要求8所述的交换器,其中,包住管的外壳由多个通过法兰连接的元件构成,这些法兰处的密封由复合密封圈保证,其密封元件由对氧气呈惰性的材料制成。
10.根据权利要求9所述的交换器,其中,密封元件是一个由可压缩矿物材料构成的环。
11.根据权利要求1所述的交换器,其中,载热气体为空气、氮、CO2或水蒸气。
12.根据权利要求1所述的交换器,其中,载热气体由燃烧气体构成,燃烧气体用空气、氮、CO2和水蒸气中的至少一种气体进行稀释。
13.根据权利要求1所述的交换器,其中,载热气体首先在一个回热器中加热,回热器预先由燃烧气体加热。
14.根据权利要求13所述的交换器,其中,与氧气或富氧气体接触的表面的材料由金属合金构成,使得在1000个暴露周期后,暴露在气体下的样品的重量增加不超过0.1毫克/平方厘米,每个暴露周期包括将温度升高到一个等于或高于400℃的值,在该温度水平保持1小时,然后返回环境温度。
15.根据权利要求14所述的交换器,其中,合金满足在氧化环境的试验中当温度水平至少为500℃时、暴露面积的重量增加低于0.1毫克/平方厘米的条件。
16.根据权利要求14或15所述的交换器,其中,与氧气或以氧气为基础的气体混合物接触的合金经受住按照标准ASTM G124的自燃试验,至少达到3巴的压力。
17.根据权利要求16所述的交换器,其中,与氧气或以氧气为基础的气体混合物接触的合金是一种铁素体钢型的合金,具有重量含量为12%至30%的铬,铝的含量为1%至8%。
18.根据权利要求14所述的交换器,其中,对于不超过500℃的氧气温度,与氧气或以氧气为基础的混合物接触的合金是一种铬的重量含量在10%和20%之间的合金。
19.根据权利要求14所述的交换器,其中,合金的镍含量大于25%,铬含量在10%至30%之间。
20.根据权利要求19所述的交换器,其中,合金是那些商品名为“Inconel600H”、“600L”、“601”、“617”、“625”、“Incoloy800H”或“800HT”的合金中的一种。
21.根据权利要求20所述的交换器,其中,元件与氧气或以氧气为基础的混合物接触,温度达到300和900℃之间。
22.根据权利要求21所述的交换器,其中,设置一个氧气探测器与载热气体接触,当载热气体的氧气含量增加1%以上时,该探测器与一个警报器接通。
23.根据权利要求1所述的交换器,其中,所述交换器出口处的温度高于400℃。
24.根据权利要求1所述的交换器,其中,所述交换功率在40和250千瓦之间。
25.根据权利要求1所述的交换器,其中,所述交换功率在80和170千瓦之间。
26.根据权利要求2所述的交换器,其中,所述单位面积功率在7和12千瓦/平方米之间。
27.根据权利要求5所述的交换器,其中,所述最高速度不超过100米/秒。

30.根据权利要求7所述的交换器,其中,所述粗糙度不超过4μ。
31.根据权利要求7所述的交换器,其中,所述粗糙度不超过1μ。
32.根据权利要求8所述的交换器,其中,所述壁的厚度不大于2.5毫米。
33.根据权利要求16所述的交换器,其中,所述压力至少达到10巴。
