Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种触摸屏保护器。明确地说,本发明涉及可容易地附接到手持式电子装置及从手持式电子装置移除的触摸屏保护器,所述手持式电子装置包括触摸屏且可通过触摸屏操作。
背景技术
随着触摸屏不断增加的普遍性,手持式电子装置需要有效的触摸屏保护器。虽然例如iPad装置等触摸屏手持式电子装置的漂亮且光滑的屏幕看起来不错,但在实际使用中,留下的指纹量显著破坏屏幕的外观及显示质量。为此,与装置一起销售屏幕清洁布。因为频繁的清洁是不期望的,因此已提出各种屏幕保护装置。
当前可购得数种触摸屏保护器。ZAGG INVISIBLESHIELDTM产品为眩光减少触摸屏保护器。其主要缺点是难以将保护器施加到手持式装置。即使在仔细的清洁及施加之后,防眩光INCIPIOTM屏幕保护器也捕获灰尘颗粒及气泡。由于即使是小心地施加但还倾向于捕获气泡及灰尘,当前市场上可购得的其它触摸屏保护器也不令消费者满意。当在使用中时,由于静电或粘合剂的施加,这些触摸屏保护器直接物理接触电子装置的触摸屏。在后一情形中,当移除屏幕保护器时,需要费力清洁来使触摸屏恢复到其光亮光泽。JP 2002328613涉及一种覆盖片,其包含用以保护显示屏的透明塑料膜,所述覆盖片具有间隔件,所述间隔件包含与上述显示屏相对的表面上的数不尽的点。第7,070,837号美国专利涉及一种塑料膜屏幕保护器,其具有稍微粗糙化的表面,使得面向电子装置屏幕的膜的大部分不会实质触摸屏幕。因此,所述保护器的粗糙化的表面在所述膜触摸屏幕时防止干扰图案产生。
这些现有技术装置中没有一个已被发现是完全合适的,因此行业中需要一种能够容易且快速地安装而不存在捕获气泡或灰尘的问题的触摸屏保护器。本发明的触摸屏保护器现在满足此需要。
发明内容
本发明涉及一种触摸屏保护器,其用于具有包括触摸屏部分及外周界的正面的手持式电子装置,所述触摸屏保护器包含:塑料膜;及间隔件,其环绕大小对应于所述触摸屏部分的透明窗沿着所述塑料膜的所述外周界而提供。在本发明的一个实施例中,所述塑料膜具有前侧及后侧、对应于所述手持式电子装置的外周界的外周界以及由所述间隔件连续地环绕的透明窗。优选地,所述间隔件具有足以将所述塑料膜间隔成接近但不接触所述触摸屏部分的厚度。在一个优选实施例中,所述间隔件具有用于将所述保护器可拆卸地安装到所述正面的所述外周界上以在所述塑料膜的所述透明窗、所述间隔件及所述手持式电子装置的所述触摸屏部分之间形成封闭的空气隙的暴露的粘合剂。本发明的所述触摸屏保护器的所述透明窗可按压在所述触摸屏部分上以用于操作所述手持式电子装置,同时防止用户的手指直接接触所述触摸屏部分且在使用期间不会产生可见干扰图案,其中所述触摸屏保护器能够从所述手持式电子装置移除并且能够重新施加至所述手持式电子装置。所述间隔件具有小于所述塑料膜的厚度的厚度且通常介于约0.05毫米与约1毫米之间。
有利地,所述塑料膜包括以有效地给所述保护器提供防眩光及抗静电效应的量至少粘附到所述窗的所述前侧的微粒。优选地,所述塑料膜的所述后侧上也存在具有一密度的微粒,所述密度充分高以在不对通过所述窗观看的图像质量造成不利影响的情况下提供抗静电效应。
在一优选实施例中,所述手持式电子装置的所述正面具有绕其周界的非功能性带,且所述间隔件的宽度经选择以与所述带相符或位于所述带内,使得当所述保护器以粘合方式安装到所述手持式电子装置上时所述间隔件不干扰所述触摸屏部分的使用。
在另一优选实施例中,所述间隔件包括施加到所述塑料膜上的至少一个不透明粘合条。优选地,所述塑料膜具有介于0.1毫米与2毫米之间的厚度且包括绕其周边的接纳所述至少一个不透明粘合条的不透明带。更优选地,所述间隔件包含至少两个条;第一条以粘合方式安装到所述塑料膜的所述周界上且第二条以粘合方式安装到所述第一条上,而所述第二条支撑所述暴露的粘合剂。每一条的厚度为0.05毫米到0.5毫米,优选地为0.07毫米到0.18毫米。

在本发明的再一优选实施例中,所述触摸屏保护器进一步包含一个或一个以上对准孔,所述一个或一个以上对准孔匹配所述手持式电子装置上的一个或一个以上按钮以促进将所述保护器安装在所述手持式电子装置上。
优选地,所述手持式电子装置的所述触摸屏部分及所述触摸屏保护器的所述塑料膜各自为大体上矩形,且所述触摸屏为电话、阅读装置、音乐装置、观看装置或导航装置(例如,iPhone、Nook、iPod、iPad、Droid及GPS导航器)的部分。

本文中所使用的术语“接近”意指在距离上靠近但不物理接触,优选地隔开约1毫米或少于1毫米。
本文中所使用的术语“周边”意指精确边界内的最外部分或区。
本文中所使用的术语“围绕周界的非功能性带”意指环绕手持式电子装置的触摸屏部分的区域,其由与触摸屏不同的材料制成或由与触摸屏相同但非触敏的材料制成。通常,触摸屏为单个玻璃片,其包括可操作触摸屏部分及围绕所述触摸屏部分的周界的非功能性带。

本发明涉及一种新颖触摸屏保护器,其包括塑料膜及沿着所述塑料膜的外周界提供的间隔件。不同于大多数的直接物理接触触摸屏的现有技术触摸屏保护器,本发明的触摸屏保护器不触摸触摸屏的可操作部分。此部分在本文中称作“触摸屏部分”。本发明的此关键特征使屏幕保护器为100%无气泡成为可能。
尽管在装置之间变化,但手持式装置的触摸屏保护器与触摸屏部分之间的距离由间隔件的厚度决定,间隔件的厚度小于塑料膜的厚度。在一优选实施例中,本发明的间隔件具有小于塑料膜的厚度的厚度且介于约0.05毫米与约1毫米之间,且优选地介于约0.05毫米到约0.15毫米之间。所述间距可尽可能的小,只要保护器不接触触摸屏部分。塑料膜的硬度对所要的间距有所帮助,因为塑料越坚硬,间距可越靠近。相比之下,塑料膜不应如此坚硬而妨碍用户操作触摸屏部分的能力。本文中所揭示的优选尺寸及性质实现这些特征。
塑料膜具有前侧及后侧、对应于装置的外周界的外周界以及透明窗。所述透明窗的光透射优选为60%,更优选为75%,且最优选为85%。在一个优选实施例中,塑料膜具有介于约0.15毫米与约2毫米之间的厚度且包括绕其周边的不透明带。
塑料膜充分硬或坚硬,使得在将保护器施加到手持式装置上且将所述装置水平地置于平坦表面上时其不会在其自身的重量下弯曲或坍塌而接触触摸屏部分。优选地,所述塑料膜的硬度为1H以上,如通过铅笔硬度测试所测验。更优选地,所述塑料膜的硬度为2H以上。更优选地,所述塑料膜的硬度为3H以上。所述塑料膜还充分薄而具有弹性,使得为操作触摸屏部分,唯一必要的是来自用户的手指抵靠所述手持式装置的触摸屏部分按压所述塑料膜的透明窗的任何点的轻微力。所述塑料膜可由可购得的任何合适透明材料制成。优选地,所述塑料膜由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)制成。
所述保护器不在所述塑料膜的后侧上提供不规则性、凸块或其它非均匀物地实现所要的间距。而是,所述膜本质上平滑且利用微粒的涂层来实现改善的性能(与现有技术的触摸屏保护器相比)。
在一个实施例中,所述塑料膜经涂覆而具有“亚光”或防眩光效果。例如EZ-GLIDETM顶层处理等表面处理进一步允许更好的触摸屏部分机动性且有效地减小手持式装置的触摸屏部分上手指滑动摩擦。EZ-GLIDETM处理是其中屏幕保护器的外侧(即,接触手的侧)具有减小静电效应的微粒的技术,其允许手在屏幕保护器上平滑地移动。虽然可能一直认为将由用户处置的先前膜产品需要处理以减小由于摩擦接触而产生的静电电荷,但本发明至少部分地基于以下发现:在塑料膜的内侧(即,膜的面向触摸屏部分的侧)上提供EZ-GLIDETM微粒处理防止或避免在抵靠触摸屏部分按压保护器时产生干扰条纹。因为所述处理防止或避免在屏幕保护器与触摸屏部分之间产生静电,因此此结果得以实现。
所述微粒不物理接触触摸屏部分,除非抵靠触摸屏部分按压屏幕保护器。由于微粒的抗静电效应,一旦屏幕保护器不再被抵靠触摸屏部分按压,其将从触摸屏部分快速地弹回或拉离。膜的内侧上的微粒可为各种形状,例如柱形状及波纹形状。微粒的密度经优化,使得其足够高而提供抗静电效应,但不过高而不对通过所述窗观看的图像质量造成不利影响。优选地,微粒覆盖膜的5%以上。更优选地,微粒覆盖膜的8%以上。最优选地,微粒覆盖膜的10%以上。如果需要,可用微粒覆盖保护器的整个膜,但也可在覆盖整个膜的高达50%的情况下实现好的结果。微粒可由所属技术中普遍已知的任何透明材料制成。优选地,微粒由PET制成,使得其与膜材料兼容。本发明的屏幕保护器的膜最优选地在两个侧上包括微粒,使得膜的外表面也不在使用期间产生静电。
大多数电子装置的触摸屏具有为非功能性且形成周界边沿的边沿。本发明的屏幕保护器经设计而使间隔件粘附到这些边沿,使得透明窗使得能够使用触摸屏部分的整个操作部分。塑料膜上的不透明带或多或少地对应于触摸屏的非操作边沿。为确保不妨碍触摸屏的操作部分,间隔件在可能之处具有小于边沿的厚度的厚度。为此,间隔件具有小于不透明带的宽度的为1毫米到2毫米的宽度。因此,当沿着塑料膜的外周界恰当地施加间隔件时,其环绕透明窗但不触摸透明窗,因此促进恰当地操作触摸屏部分。
对于具有不均匀的非功能边界的装置(例如,iPod Touch),可以相同方式配置保护器的暴露的粘合剂。当触摸屏的侧边界非常小时,也可仅在周界的一部分(例如,矩形保护器的顶部及底部)上包括粘合剂(尽管并非优选的),使得保护器可在不阻碍或干扰触摸屏的功能性部分的情况下安装在所述装置上。
当所述装置的触摸屏具有绕其周界的非功能性带时,间隔件的宽度经选择以与所述带的宽度相符,使得当保护器以粘合方式安装到所述装置上时所述间隔件不干扰触摸屏部分的使用。所述间隔件具有足以将塑料膜间隔成接近但不接触触摸屏部分的厚度。所述间隔件还具有用于将保护器可拆卸地安装在触摸屏的外周界上以在塑料膜的透明窗、所述间隔件及所述装置的触摸屏部分之间形成封闭的空气隙的暴露的粘合剂。所述暴露的粘合剂具有充分粘性以将保护器安装到所述装置上但使得能够不在所述装置上留下粘合剂残留物地移除所述保护器。此类型的各种粘合剂在市场上可购得且所属领域的技术人员可选择用于将保护器施加到任何特定装置的特定粘合剂。允许重复清洁及重新施加的粘合剂为优选的,使得可重复地清洗及重新施加屏幕保护器。可使用任何市场上可购得的可清洗且可重新使用的粘合剂,例如由二氧化硅及聚亚安酯(PU)制成的粘合剂。
间隔件优选地包括施加到塑料膜上的至少一个不透明粘合条,其优选地由塑料膜的不透明带接纳。另外,间隔件还包含至少两个条,其中第一条以粘合方式安装到塑料膜的周界上且第二条以粘合方式安装到所述第一条上,而所述第二条支撑暴露的粘合剂。可使用的粘合剂可为用于将塑料膜接合在一起的任何市场上可购得的粘合剂。更优选地,所述粘合剂为具有比将保护器附接到所述装置的所述暴露的粘合剂强的粘性的粘合剂,因为不打算将间隔件从塑料膜移除。
优选地,本发明的触摸屏保护器还包含背衬部件以保护塑料膜的后侧及间隔件的所述暴露的粘合剂。所述背衬部件可进一步包括突出部,所述突出部用以在安装保护器时辅助移除所述背衬部件。通过捏住并拉所述突出部,容易地从保护器移除所述背衬部件以使得能够通过暴露的粘合剂接触所述装置的触摸屏的非功能性边沿而将所述保护器安装到所述装置上。
由于这些类型的电子装置中的许多在触摸屏操作部分或边沿上包括一个或一个以上操作按钮以用于在因特网浏览器、照片、音乐或电子邮件之间执行例如开关切换等功能,因此本发明的触摸屏保护器可进一步包含匹配所述电子装置上的所述一个或一个以上按钮的一个或一个以上孔。除暴露所述按钮以易于操作外,这些孔还充当对准特征以促进将塑料膜恰当地安装在触摸屏上。
尽管触摸屏保护器可为任何形状,但其优选地为大体上矩形以与当前手持式装置的形状相符,且大多数这些装置具有大体上矩形形状。明确地说,保护器的形状并非确切的矩形,因为各角被弄圆以匹配装置的角。因此,可使用所述触摸屏保护器来保护许多不同种类的手持式电子装置(例如,移动电话、阅读装置、音乐装置、观看装置或导航装置)的触摸屏。此些装置的实例为iPhone、Nook、iPod、iPad、Droid及GPS导航系统。所述保护器的性质及其设计使得特定实施例能够适于与任何此类装置的触摸屏相符。
本发明的触摸屏保护器具有能够容易且快速地安装的优势,例如,在30秒或更少的时间内。因为安装过程如此快速,因此当经恰当地施加时,灰尘将不会捕获于手持式电子装置的触摸屏部分与触摸屏保护器之间中。由于本发明的触摸屏保护器将轻轻地施加到手持式装置的触摸屏的外周界,因此不用担心在触摸屏部分上留下胶的痕迹。因此,可在不对手持式装置的触摸屏部分的外观及显示质量造成不利影响的情况下容易且轻易地将本发明的触摸屏保护器移除。
有利地,当手持式装置受本发明的触摸屏保护器保护时,触摸屏部分上不存在指纹污迹,不存在显示器质量的降低,且不存在屏幕的触摸响应的降低。其甚至将允许当在手持式装置上使用艺术应用时使用电容式手写笔。
另外,本发明的触摸屏保护器还减少光滑的触摸屏部分的眩光。因此,触摸屏部分上的照片看起来像印刷品。即使眩光被完全移除,也几乎不对触摸屏部分的轮廓鲜明性造成影响。由于本发明的触摸屏保护器的绝对抗指纹特征,其完全解决触摸屏部分的污迹问题。
实例
实例1:保护iPad
本发明的保护器可经制作而与苹果的iPad一同使用作为经特定设计以保护iPad的触摸屏同时减少指纹污迹的抗反射屏幕保护器。不同于需要麻烦的安装程序且常常导致不期望的气泡或妨碍触摸屏性能的其它屏幕保护器,可在几秒钟内安装所述保护器而不存在任何气泡。如图1A到图1D的示意图中所示,安装程序如下。首先,通过使用包装中所包括的微纤维布清洁iPad的屏幕以擦掉iPad屏幕上的任何灰尘颗粒(图1A)。其次,在将塑料膜施加到iPad屏幕的非功能性边界之前轻轻地揭掉背衬部件(图1B)。第三,在底部处开始将所述保护器对准,其中所述保护器的圆形打开对准物置于iPad的“主页”按钮上(图1C)。最后,围绕所述保护器的边沿施加轻微压力,使得其在iPad上固定到位(图1D)。
所述保护器及其构造的另外细节展示于图2到图4中。如图2中所示,保护器10为大体矩形且围绕其周界具有不透明带15。所述带本质上与环绕iPad的触摸屏的非功能性带相符,而透明窗20对应于iPad的触摸屏的功能性部分。所述保护器包括对应于iPad的开关选择器按钮的孔25。间隔件位于塑料膜的后侧上且由于不透明带的存在而不可见。
图3是间隔件的扩大横截面图。塑料膜展示为30,其中不透明带展示为35。间隔件展示为40且其包括通过粘合剂44粘附到塑料膜30的第一条42及通过粘合剂48粘附到第一条42的第二条46。图中展示暴露的粘合剂50位于间隔件上。
图4是当移除背衬部件65以将保护器施加到iPad时保护器10的后侧的视图。如图所示,已拉突出部部件60以将背衬部件65与间隔件50分离,因此展示背衬部件的内部表面62及在透明窗后面的塑料膜30的后侧以及间隔件的暴露的粘合剂50。在将保护器10施加到iPad之前将背衬部件65完全移除。
由于屏幕保护器不触摸iPad的触摸屏部分,因此可容易地不在触摸屏部分上留下任何残留物地移除所述屏幕保护器。所述粘合剂还由于其相对低的粘合性而不在非功能性边沿上留下任何残留物。所述触摸屏保护器提供优越的触摸屏部分机动性及擦划/污迹抵抗性,同时保持最佳触摸屏部分敏感性及反馈。
实例2:保护iPhone 4
另一保护器可特定适用于苹果的iPhone 4触摸屏。所述保护器经确定大小而与触摸屏相符且以与iPad类似的方式施加。首先,通过使用包装中所包括的微纤维布清洁iPhone 4以擦掉iPhone 4的屏幕上的任何灰尘颗粒。其次,在将塑料膜施加到iPhone触摸屏的边界之前轻轻地剥离所述保护器的背衬部件。第三,将所述保护器恰当地对准于iPhone触摸屏的顶部上。最后,围绕所述保护器的边沿轻轻地施加压力以将其固定到位。同样,所述触摸屏保护器提供优越的触摸屏部分机动性及擦划/污迹抵抗性,同时保持最佳触摸屏部分敏感性及反馈。
实例3:触摸屏保护器的塑料膜
所述塑料膜以以下规格制作:
为确保膜的质量,如下实施数个测试,例如划格法胶带测试:
首先,用美工刀将膜的表面水平及垂直各切割11条线,以在所述膜上产生一百个1毫米x 1毫米方格。接着,在经切割表面上施加20毫米以上长的米其邦Celofan胶带(Nichiban Celofan Tape)(米其邦405号)并用手指按压。此后,捡起胶带端且将胶带移除到60°角度/0.5毫米到1毫米以观察任何涂层是否脱落。
在任一实例中,可视需要移除所述保护器以进行清洁及重新施加。可通过用水冲洗及空气干燥来清洁所述保护器。可视需要施加少量的洗洁精。可首先刷掉捕捉在触摸屏部分上的碎屑或灰尘。一旦经冲洗,则将所述保护器粘合剂侧朝上放置到毛巾上并允许空气干燥。在其完全干燥并清洁之后,可将其重新施加到所述装置。
Claims (15)
1.一种触摸屏保护器(10),其用于具有包括触摸屏部分及外周界的正面的手持式电子装置,所述触摸屏保护器(10)包含:
塑料膜(30),其具有前侧及后侧、对应于所述手持式电子装置的外周界以及大小对应于所述触摸屏部分的透明窗(20);及
间隔件(40),其连续地环绕所述透明窗(20)沿着所述塑料膜(30)的所述外周界而提供在所述塑料膜(30)的后侧,所述间隔件(40)具有足以将所述塑料膜(30)间隔成接近但不接触所述触摸屏部分的介于0.05毫米与1毫米之间的厚度及用于将所述保护器(10)可拆卸地安装到所述正面的触摸屏部分的所述外周界上的暴露的粘合剂(50),以在所述塑料膜(30)的所述透明窗(20)、所述间隔件(40)及所述手持式电子装置的所述触摸屏部分之间形成封闭的空气隙,其中所述暴露的粘合剂(50)具有充分粘性以将所述保护器(10)安装到所述正面的触摸屏部分上但使得能够不在所述触摸屏部分上留下粘合剂残留物地重复移除所述保护器(10),且所述暴露的粘合剂(50)能够与所述间隔件(40)一起重复地移除;
其中可将所述透明窗(20)按压在所述触摸屏部分上以用于操作所述手持式电子装置,同时防止用户的手指直接接触所述触摸屏部分且在使用期间不会产生可见干扰图案,且
其中所述触摸屏保护器(10)能够从所述手持式电子装置移除并且能够重新施加至所述手持式电子装置。
2.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述塑料膜(30)具有介于0.1毫米与2毫米之间的厚度,且包括绕其周边的接纳所述间隔件(40)的不透明带(35)。
3.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏保护器(10),还包括在所述塑料膜(30)的所述后侧上具有一密度的微粒,所述密度充分高以在不对通过所述透明窗(20)观看的图像质量造成不利影响的情况下提供抗静电效应。
4.根据权利要求3所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述微粒是透明的,并覆盖5%至50%的所述塑料膜(30)的后侧,以避免在操作过程中将所述透明窗(20)按压在所述手持式电子装置的触摸屏部分上时出现的所述干扰图案。
5.根据权利要求4所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述塑料膜(30)还包括以有效地给所述透明窗(20)提供防眩光及抗静电效应的量粘附到所述透明窗(20)的所述前侧的微粒。
6.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述手持式电子装置的所述触摸屏部分的所述正面具有绕其周界的非功能性带(35),且间隔件(40)宽度经选择以与所述带(35)相符或位于所述带(35)内,使得当所述保护器(10)以粘合方式安装到所述手持式电子装置上时所述间隔件(40)不干扰所述触摸屏部分的响应区域的使用。
7.根据权利要求6所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述间隔件(40)包括施加到所述塑料膜(30)上的至少一个粘合条,其中所述粘合条为不透明的。
8.根据权利要求7所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中将所述间隔件(40)与所述塑料膜(30)接合在一起的至少一个粘合条具有比将所述间隔件(40)与所述手持式电子装置的所述触摸屏部分附接在一起的所述暴露的粘合剂(50)强的粘性。
9.根据权利要求7所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述间隔件(40)包含至少两个条(42,46);第一条(42)以粘合方式安装到所述塑料膜(30)的所述外周界上且第二条(46)以粘合方式安装到所述第一条(42)上,其中每一条的厚度为0.05毫米到0.5毫米且所述第二条(46)支撑所述暴露的粘合剂(50)。
10.根据权利要求9所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述第一与第二条(42,46)通过粘合剂(44,48)接合在一起且接合到所述塑料膜(30),所述粘合剂(44,48)具有比将所述保护器(10)附接到所述手持式电子装置的所述暴露的粘合剂(50)强的粘性。
11.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其进一步包含背衬部件(65)以在使用前保护所述塑料膜(30)的所述后侧及所述间隔件(40)的所述暴露的粘合剂(50)。
12.根据权利要求11所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述背衬部件(65)进一步包括突出部(60),所述突出部用以在将所述保护器(10)安装在所述手持式电子装置上时辅助移除所述背衬部件(65)。
13.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其进一步包含一个或一个以上对准孔(25),所述一个或一个以上对准孔(25)匹配所述手持式电子装置上的一个或一个以上按钮以促进将所述保护器(10)安装在所述手持式电子装置上。
14.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述手持式电子装置的所述触摸屏及所述塑料膜(30)各自为矩形,且所述触摸屏为电话、阅读装置、音乐装置、观看装置或导航装置的部分。
15.根据权利要求1所述的触摸屏保护器(10),其中所述透明窗(20)为透亮的,但包括提供亚光效果或隐私屏特征的涂层。
