Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及背光装置和显示装置,特别涉及适合具备透射型显示面板的显示装置的背光装置以及具备该背光装置的显示装置。
背景技术
在具备称为透射型液晶显示面板等的非自发光型显示面板的显示装置中,存在具备在显示面板的背面侧配置背光装置的结构的显示装置。该背光装置具备荧光管等光源以及调整该光源发出的光的特性的规定种类的光学片,对显示面板的背面侧照射调整特性后的光。当照射到显示面板的背面侧的光透过该显示面板时,在显示面板的前面侧、即画面上将图像显示为可视状态。
设置在该光源与显示面板之间的光学片采用例如扩散片、透镜片、棱镜片、偏光反射片等,通常将多张光学片重叠使用。
在这些光学片中,存在具有热膨胀系数互不相同的多个膜或片的层叠结构的光学片。在使用显示装置时,当被光源、其它部件产生的热加热而温度上升时,具有这种结构的光学片由于材料的热膨胀系数不同,有可能发生翘曲、褶皱。
另外,由于光学片与支撑光学片的部件的热膨胀系数不同,也有可能导致光学片产生褶皱等。例如,如果是通过框架等支撑部件来支撑光学片的边缘部分的结构,当光学片与该支撑部件分别发生热膨胀时,热膨胀系数的不同会造成在由光学片的支撑部件支撑的区域附近发生拉伸等,有可能产生褶皱、翘曲。
当这样在光学片中产生翘曲、褶皱时,该翘曲等会在显示面板的前面侧表现为亮斑、阴影。特别是在光学片重复弯曲而起伏状翘曲的情况、例如像透镜片那种具有带指向性的光学特性的光学片发生翘曲的情况下等,出现在画面上的亮斑、阴影容易被察觉,有可能降低显示装置的显示质量。因此,希望使光学片维持无褶皱、翘曲的状态。
作为能够抑制由该光学片的翘曲、褶皱导致的显示质量下降的背光装置,可以举出如下装置。例如,存在使用如下结构的装置:在光学片类的边缘部分形成通孔,将凸出部等可活动地嵌在该通孔中(参照日本特开平11-337942号公报)。除此以外,还存在使用如下结构的装置:在光学片类的边缘部分形成定位片,将该定位片卡合在形成在机壳或框架上的凹部中(参照日本特开2001-76527号公报)。另外,还存在使用如下结构的装置:使用这种通孔、定位片,在相对于使用显示装置时的重力方向上侧的边的大致中央部支撑光学片类(参照日本特开2005-158707号公报)。根据这些结构,光学片类的边缘部分能够自由地热变形,因此能够在某种程度上抑制光学片类的热膨胀引起的翘曲。
发明内容
发明要解决的问题
然而,即使是具有这种支撑结构的背光装置,有时候也无法抑制由光学片的热膨胀状态产生的翘曲、褶皱。
例如,在光学片的边缘部分与中央部分温度不同等情况下,热膨胀的量也随着温度分布而不均匀,存在发生不均匀的翘曲、褶皱的可能性。这样,在光学片的边缘部分与中央部分翘曲度不同的情况下,即使光学片的边缘部分能够自由变形,也难以消除翘曲、褶皱。
这样,在光学片中,热膨胀系数、温度分布等各种因素混合作用,会发生各种形式的翘曲。因此,要完全消除光学片的翘曲、褶皱是非常困难的。
因此,本发明要解决的问题是:提供一种即使在光学片中产生翘曲也能防止或抑制该翘曲表现为亮斑、阴影的背光装置以及具备这种背光装置的显示装置。
用于解决问题的方案
为了解决上述问题,本发明的要点是一种通过重叠的多个光学片调整从光源发出的光的特性并照射到显示面板的背面侧的背光装置,在上述多个光学片之间设有膨胀空间,该膨胀空间吸收由来自上述光源的热导致的膨胀而造成的上述光学片的翘曲,通过在上述光学片的边缘部分整体或者局部地夹设隔离部件来形成上述膨胀空间。
在此,优选隔着上述膨胀空间对置的光学片中的一个光学片具有带指向性的光学特性。
另外,可以通过在上述光学片的边缘部分整体或者局部地夹设隔离部件来形成上述膨胀空间。
可以采用扩散板、扩散片、透镜片等作为上述光学片。
并且,能够将这种背光装置应用于显示装置。
发明效果
根据本发明,在调整从光源发出的光的特性的多个光学片之间,设置吸收来自上述光源的热导致的膨胀而造成的翘曲的膨胀空间,因此在光学片由于光源等产生的热而发生膨胀时,容易仅向设有膨胀空间的一侧翘曲。这样,通过有意地设置光学片容易翘曲的方向,能够抑制光学片由热膨胀引起的起伏状翘曲。因此,能够防止该光学片类的翘曲在显示面板的画面上以容易察觉的形式表现为亮斑、阴影。

具体实施方式
下面,参照附图详细地说明本发明的一个实施方式。首先,说明作为本发明的实施方式的背光装置1的整体的概要。图1是表示本发明的实施方式所涉及的背光装置1的分解立体图。此外,在下面的说明中,除了特别指明的情况以外,将背光装置1的光的出射面侧、即图1的上方向称为前面侧,将其相反侧、即图1的下方向称为背面侧。
在本实施方式所涉及的背光装置1中,在机壳10的前面侧大致平行排列设置多个直管状的光源12,在其更前面侧配置多个光学片14、16、18、20。
机壳10(也称为背光装置角铁(Backlight Angle)或背光装置机壳)是大致平板状的部件。在互相对置的长边的边缘部设有向前面侧立起的侧壁10a。在该侧壁10a的前面侧设有能够装载后面说明的光学片的装载面10b。另一方面,安装于光源12的端部的光源支架12a被卡定在短边侧的端部边缘中。该机壳10例如由金属板等通过压力加工而形成。
光源12被配置在该机壳10的前面侧。光源12可以采用以往通常使用的种类的光源,例如冷阴极管、热阴极管等荧光灯、氙灯等放电灯或LED等。如图1所示,在本实施方式中采用直管形状的冷阴极管。
在各冷阴极管(光源12)的两端安装有支撑光源12的光源支架12a。该光源支架12a具有如下功能:保护对光源12供给电力的线缆 12b与光源之间的连接部,并且将光源12卡定在机壳10上。该光源支架12a由具有绝缘性的合成树脂材料等形成。
此外,在该机壳10与光源12之间设置反射片11。反射片11是使光源12发出的光发生漫反射的片状部件。例如,由片状的发泡PET(聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯树脂)材料等形成。
在这样排列设置有光源12的机壳10的两个短边上,覆盖具有支撑光学片等功能的边支架22、22。该边支架22、22是具备在背面侧(光源侧)的面开口的、大致方筒状的外壳的部件。在该外壳的一个侧面形成能可活动地嵌入光源的大致U字状的缺口22a,能够安装为覆盖光源12的端部。在该边支架22的前面侧,形成能够装载光学片类的边缘部分(在本实施方式中,是光学片的短边的边缘部分)的装载面。例如用合成树脂材料等一体地形成该边支架22。
在该边支架22的前面侧还配置具有调整光源12发出的光的特性等功能的多个光学片14、16、18、20。所谓光学片,是指调整光源发出的光的特性的板状或片状的部件。例如包括扩散片、透镜片、偏光反射片、扩散板等,通常将它们重叠使用。
扩散板和扩散片具有在例如由透明的树脂材料等构成的基底材料中混合反射光的微粒子的结构。并且,具有通过使透射的光扩散而实现亮度分布均匀化的功能。通常,扩散板比扩散片厚。例如,扩散板具有2mm左右的厚度,扩散片具有0.2mm左右的厚度。
透镜片具有将由例如聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯等构成的基底材料的层和由丙烯酸等构成的层层叠的结构,所述由丙烯酸等构成的层具有规定的截面形状并具有聚光功能。并且,透镜片具有将透过的光聚光而提高亮度的功能。
偏光反射片是将偏光反射层层叠到由树脂材料等构成的层上,具有使规定的偏光成分的光透射并使其它偏光成分的光反射的功能。
在本实施方式所涉及的背光装置1中,将扩散板14、第一扩散片16、透镜片18以及第二扩散片20重叠配置。首先,将扩散板14的边缘部分重叠装载在机壳10的装载面和边支架22的装载面上,在 其上侧(前面侧)重叠配置第一扩散片16和透镜片18。在此,在透镜片18和第二扩散片20之间设有间隙,该间隙成为吸收透镜片由热导致的膨胀而引起的翘曲的膨胀空间24。
在此,在透镜片18与第二扩散片20之间设置隔离部件26,该隔离部件26用于形成吸收由来自光源12等的热造成的膨胀而引起的翘曲的膨胀空间24。在本实施方式中,该隔离部件26具有大致呈L字状的截面,具有与光学片14、16、18、20的短边大致相等的长度。在该隔离部件26中,上板26b被装载在光学片(在此是透镜片18)的两个短边的边缘上,从该上板26b的外侧边缘向下侧(背面侧)延伸设置的侧板26a被配置在装载光学片类的边支架22的侧面的外侧。例如通过对金属板材等进行压力加工或对合成树脂材料进行喷射成型等来形成该隔离部件26。
这样,当隔离部件26形成为大致L字状的截面时,将后面说明的框架28安装在机壳10上,将光学片等保持在框架28与机壳10之间时,隔离部件26的上板26b被设置在各光学片(在此是透镜片18与第二扩散片20)之间,隔离部件26的侧板26a被夹持并固定在框架28与边支架22之间。另外,也可以设置卡定部等,使得能够将隔离部件26卡定在边支架22、机壳10和/或框架28上。
框架28被安装在光学片14、16、18、20的更前面侧,该框架28是具有将光学片14、16、18、20保持在机壳10上等功能的框状部件。该框架28构成为从形成为开口四边形的框部28c的外侧边缘向机壳侧立设侧壁部28a。另外,例如通过对金属板材等进行压力加工或用合成树脂等一体地形成框架28。
另外,在机壳10的背面侧配置有驱动光源12的光源驱动电路基板30,安装有覆盖该光源驱动电路基板30的光源驱动电路基板盖30a。此外,光源驱动电路基板30是构建有驱动光源12的电子、电气电路的电路基板。光源驱动电路基板盖30a是覆盖光源驱动电路基板30的盖,由金属板等导体形成。
图2的(a)放大表示将该背光装置1组装的状态下的光学片14、16、18、20的端部边缘附近的截面。在装载在边支架22的装载面22b 上的扩散板14上(前面侧),装载有第一扩散片16、透镜片18以及第二扩散片20,隔离部件26被设置在透镜片18与第二扩散片20之间。这样,在透镜片18与第二扩散片20之间形成膨胀空间24。由此,将第一扩散片16配置于透镜片18的一个面(下侧),将膨胀空间24配置于另一个面侧(上侧)。
当对该背光装置1的光源12进行驱动时,由于来自光源12的热、来自对光源12供给电力的光源驱动电路基板30等配置在外围的电气、电子部件的热,光学片14、16、18、20等各部件的温度会上升。于是,各部件发生与各自的温度和膨胀率对应的膨胀。
在这种情况下,第一和第二扩散片16、20、透镜片18是较薄的片状部件,因此在发生热膨胀时,容易发生翘曲、褶皱等。另外,各光学片16、18、20具有不同的热膨胀率、刚性等特性,因此翘曲、褶皱的出现形式也随着各个光学片16、18、20的不同而不同。
参照图3说明例如没有在第二扩散片20与透镜片18之间设置隔离部件26而未形成膨胀空间24的情况。如图3的(a)所示,当没有在第二扩散片20与透镜片18之间设置膨胀空间24时,透镜片18的下表面成为与第一扩散片16的上表面整体抵接的状态,透镜片18的上表面成为与第二扩散片20的下表面整体抵接的状态。在这种状态下,当各个光学片发生热膨胀时,如图3的(b)所示,不存在夹在第一和第二扩散片16、20之间吸收热膨胀的空间,因此,会导致透镜片18在上下方向上来回起伏状翘曲。另外,第一扩散片16虽然可以在透镜片18向上侧翘曲的部分向上侧自由翘曲,但是在透镜片18向下侧翘曲而与第一扩散片16抵接的部分会受到挤压,因此导致第一扩散片16也与透镜片18一起起伏状翘曲。这样,当光学片起伏状翘曲时,在将显示面板配置在背光装置1的前面侧来显示图像时等,会产生出现在画面上的亮斑、阴影,显示质量明显下降。
图2的(b)是放大表示驱动本实施方式所涉及的背光装置1、被来自光源12的热、来自对光源供给电力的光源驱动电路30等配置在外围的电气、电子部件的热加热的状态下的光学片14、16、18、20的截面图。
如图2的(a)所示,在光学片14、16、18、20翘曲前的状态下,透镜片18的下表面整体抵接到第一扩散片16的上表面,因此透镜片18无法向下侧翘曲,如图2的(b)所示向上侧翘曲。此时,即使透镜片18由于热膨胀而发生较大的翘曲,由于在透镜片18的上侧设有膨胀空间24,所以透镜片18的翘曲被膨胀空间24所吸收。因此,透镜片18不会向下侧翘曲。
这样,使光学片14、16、18、20中最容易翘曲的透镜片18成为容易向一个面翘曲而难以向另一个面翘曲的状态,由此,透镜片18向膨胀空间24侧、即设有隔离部件26侧的面膨胀。因此,能够防止透镜片18被夹在第一扩散片16的上表面和第二扩散片20的下表面之间、在多个位置向上下方向起伏状翘曲的情况。
此外,扩散板14形成为比第一和第二扩散片16、20、透镜片18更厚,因此即使随着来自光源12的热而温度上升导致膨胀,也不会像透镜片18等那样产生较大的翘曲。另外,第一扩散片16的下表面与扩散板14的上表面整体抵接,因此第一扩散片16无法向下方向翘曲,因此向上方向翘曲。第二扩散片20在下侧形成膨胀空间24,在上侧设有在边缘部分抵接的框架28,中央部分成为能够向上侧和下侧自由变形的状态。但是,该第二扩散片20具有较难翘曲的特性,因此不会起伏状翘曲。
这样,在透镜片18等光学片仅向一个方向翘曲的情况下,与起伏状翘曲的情况相比,在背光装置1的出射光中不易发生亮斑等。因此,在用这种背光装置1照射显示面板的背面时,在显示面板的画面上不易出现亮斑、阴影等。另外,在光学片仅向一个方向翘曲的情况下,即使出现了亮斑、阴影,在显示面板的画面上也不易察觉,不会降低显示质量。
另外,例如,第一和第二扩散片16、20具有使透过的光扩散的无指向性的光学特性。因此,即使在第一和第二扩散片16、20中发生翘曲、褶皱而光的射出面不是平面,在从背光装置1射出的光中也不易发生亮斑等。另一方面,透镜片18具有带指向性的光学特性,该指向性是指使透过的光集中到规定的区域中。因此,如果在透镜 片18中发生翘曲、褶皱等时,光的射出面不是平面,在从背光装置1射出的光中会发生亮斑等,会降低显示质量。
因此,当像背光装置1那样设置膨胀空间24时,使膨胀空间吸收光学片的翘曲,特别使光学片的中央部分成为更平的状态。因此,如果将例如透镜片18那样具有带指向性的光学特性的光学片设置为隔着膨胀空间24对置的光学片中的一个光学片,能够更有效地抑制亮斑。
另外,如果这样通过在光学片14、16、18、20的边缘部分夹设隔离部件26而形成膨胀空间24,即使在光学片中产生翘曲等,也容易产生在隔离部件26的附近、即光学片的边缘部分。因此,即使由该光学片的边缘部分的翘曲等导致产生亮斑、阴影,也不易察觉,不会降低显示质量。
下面,图4示出本发明的实施方式的第一变形例。在下面的说明中,对与上述实施方式的背光装置相同的部分标注相同的附图标记并省略说明,仅说明不同的部分。
在图4的(a)中,放大表示将该背光装置1’组装的状态下的光学片14、16、18、20的端部边缘附近的截面。在装载在边支架22的装载面22b上的扩散板14上(前面侧),装载有第一扩散片16、透镜片18以及第二扩散片20,在第一扩散片16与透镜片18之间设置隔离部件26。这样,在第一扩散片16与透镜片18之间形成膨胀空间24。由此,膨胀空间24被配置在透镜片18的一个面侧(下侧),第二扩散片20被配置在透镜片18的另一个面(上侧)上。
图4的(b)是放大表示驱动该背光装置1’、被来自光源12的热、来自对光源12供给电力的光源驱动电路30等配置在外围的电气、电子部件的热加热的状态下的光学片14、16、18、20的截面图。
如图4所示,在光学片14、16、18、20翘曲前的状态下,透镜片18在下面侧设有膨胀空间24,可以向下侧自由变形,因此向下方向翘曲。在透镜片18这样向下侧翘曲的情况下,透镜片18的翘曲被膨胀空间吸收,因此能够防止透镜片18在上方向和下方向上来回起伏状翘曲的情况。
这样,在透镜片18等光学片14、16、18、20仅向一个方向翘曲 的情况下,与起伏状翘曲的情况相比,在背光装置1’的出射光中不易产生亮斑。因而,能够实现与上述实施方式同样的效果。
另外,如果通过在透镜片18的边缘部分设置隔离部件26来形成膨胀空间24,即使在透镜片18中产生翘曲等,该翘曲也容易发生在隔离部件26的附近,即透镜片18的边缘部分。因此,即使由于透镜片18的翘曲等而产生亮斑、阴影也不易察觉。
下面,图5和图6示出本发明的实施方式的第二变形例。在以下的说明中,对与上述实施方式的背光装置1相同的部分标注相同的附图标记并省略说明,仅说明不同的部分。
该背光装置1”具备一体地形成有隔离部件28b’的框架28’。图5的(a)是表示该框架28’的背面侧的立体图,图5的(b)是表示其截面的图。框架从形成为开口四边形的框部28c’的外侧边缘向背面侧立设侧壁部28a’。在该框架28’的两个短边上,在侧壁部28a’的内侧突出设置由带状薄板构成的隔离部28b’。该隔离部28b’形成在框架28’的两个短边的整个长度上。
图6的(a)是放大表示将该背光装置1”组装的状态下的光学片14、16、18、20的边缘附近的截面图。在装载在边支架22的装载面22b上的扩散板14上(前面侧)装载有第一扩散片16。在其更上侧隔着隔离部28b’配置有透镜片18和第二扩散片20。这样,膨胀空间24形成在第一扩散片16与透镜片18之间。由此,膨胀空间24被配置在透镜片18的一个面侧(下侧),第二扩散片20被配置在透镜片18的另一个面(上侧)上。
对于这些光学片14、16、18、20,预先将透镜片18和第二扩散片20的端部插入框架28’的框部28c’与隔离部28b’之间,将第一扩散片16装载为重叠在装载于机壳10和边支架22的装载面10b、22b上的扩散板14上,将框架28’安装在机壳10上,由此配置在光源12的前面侧。
图6的(b)是放大表示驱动背光装置1”、被来自光源12的热、来自对光源12供给电力的光源驱动电路30等配置在外围的电气、电子部件的热加热的光学片14、16、18、20的截面图。
如图6的(a)所示,在光学片14、16、18、20翘曲前的状态下,膨胀空间24被设置在透镜片18的下面侧,透镜片18能向下侧自由变形,因此向下方翘曲。在透镜片18像这样向下侧翘曲的情况下,透镜片18的翘曲被膨胀空间24吸收,因此能够防止透镜片18在上下方向上起伏状翘曲。
这样,在透镜片18仅向一个方向翘曲的情况下,与起伏状翘曲的情况相比,在背光装置1”的出射光中不易产生亮斑等。因此,能够实现与上述实施方式相同的效果。
另外,如果通过这样将隔离部28b’设置于透镜片18的边缘部分来形成膨胀空间24,即使例如在透镜片18中产生翘曲,该翘曲也容易产生在隔离部28b’的附近,即透镜片18的边缘部分。因此,即使由于该透镜片18的翘曲等而产生亮斑、阴影也不易察觉。
并且,利用图7~9说明隔离部件26的配置。图7~9是表示形成为大致四边形的透镜片18与隔离部件26之间的位置关系的示意图。如图7的(a)所示,可以将隔离部件26配置在透镜片18的整个两个长边和两个短边、即透镜片18的整个边缘部上。另外,如图7的(b)所示,可以将隔离部件26配置在透镜片18的除了四角以外的两个长边和两个短边上。也可以如图7的(c)所示,将隔离部件26仅设置在透镜片18的两个长边和两个短边的中央部分附近。
此外,在图7~9中,在透镜片18中用虚线表示的区域D是与框架28的开口相当的区域。当将隔离部件26配置为不使其进入该区域D时,即使由于透镜片18的褶皱、翘曲等而产生亮斑等也不易察觉。
另外,如图8所示,也可以仅将隔离部件26配置在除了使用背光装置1(或1’、1”)时配置于下侧的边以外的三条边上。图8的(a)是表示将隔离部件26配置在除了使用背光装置1时配置于下侧的边以外的三条边的整个长度上的例子的图。当透镜片18发生热膨胀时,由于自重向下方拉伸而不易翘曲,因此有时也可以不在使用背光装置时配置于下侧的边上配置隔离部件26。图8的(b)示出在除了使用背光装置时配置于下侧的边以外的三条边上配置比各边短一些的隔离部件26的例子。图8的(c)示出将隔离部件26仅配置 在除了使用背光装置时配置于下侧的边以外的三条边的中央部分附近的例子。
另外,如图9所示,也可以将隔离部件26仅配置在透镜片18的两个长边上。图9的(a)示出将隔离部件26配置在透镜片18的两个长边的整个长度的例子。图9的(b)是表示配置形成为比透镜片18的两个长边短一些的隔离部件26的例子的图。图9的(c)示出将隔离部件26仅配置在透镜片18的两个长边的中央部分附近的例子的图。
这样,配置隔离部件26的位置能够随着光学片的尺寸、形状、种类等而适当调节,能够适当进行选择使得更不易发生翘曲、褶皱。
下面,说明本发明的实施方式所涉及的显示装置2。图10是示意性地表示本发明的实施方式所涉及的显示装置2的结构的分解立体图。
如图10所示,本发明的实施方式所涉及的显示装置2具备上述背光装置1(或者1’、1”)、显示面板32、外框34、控制电路基板36以及控制电路基板盖38。
显示面板32可以采用以往公知的各种透射型显示面板32。例如,可以合适地采用有源矩阵型液晶显示面板。外框34是具有支撑和/或保护显示面板32的功能等的部件。如图10所示,该外框34具有开口的大致四边形的形状。控制电路基板36是构建有根据从外部输入的图像信号生成驱动显示面板32的控制信号的电子电路和/或电气电路的电路基板。控制电路基板盖38是覆盖该控制电路基板36的板状部件。该控制电路基板盖38例如由金属板材形成。
如下那样进行本实施方式所涉及的显示装置2的组装。将显示面板32配置在背光装置1(或者1’、1”)的框架28(或者28’)的前面侧。另外,将控制电路基板36配置在背光装置1(或者1’、1”)的机壳10的背面侧。并且,将安装在显示面板32上的电路基板与控制电路基板36连接,使得能够进行各种信号的发送接收。并且,将外框34安装在显示面板32的前面侧,并且将控制电路基板盖38配置为覆盖控制电路基板36。
根据这种显示装置2,当背光装置1(或者1’、1”)发出的光透过显示面板32时,图像在显示面板32的前面侧显示为可见状态。并且,光学片14、16、18、20的褶皱、翘曲被膨胀空间24吸收,因此能够进行没有亮斑、阴影的高质量显示。
下面,简单说明具备本发明的实施方式所涉及的显示装置2的电视接收机3。图11是示意性地示出具备本发明的实施方式所涉及的显示装置的电视接收机3的结构的一例的分解立体图。该电视接收机3具备:调谐器40、显示装置2、扩音单元42、电源44、机箱(cabinet)46、48以及支撑部件50。
调谐器40根据接收到的电波、从外部输入的信号来生成规定信道的图像信号和声音信号。采用现有的普通的地面波(模拟地面波和/或数字地面波)调谐器、BS调谐器、CS调谐器等作为该调谐器40。
显示装置2根据调谐器生成的图像信号来显示图像。可以采用上述本发明的实施方式所涉及的显示装置作为该显示装置2。扩音单元42根据调谐器40生成的声音信号发出声音。可以采用现有的普通扬声器等以往公知的各种扩音装置作为该扩音单元42。电源44对调谐器40、显示装置2、扩音单元42等供给电力。
并且,调谐器40、显示装置2、扩音单元42、电源44被容纳在机箱(图11示出的机箱由前面侧机箱46和背面侧机箱48构成)中,由支撑部件50支撑。此外,并不限定于这种结构,例如也可以是将调谐器40、扩音单元42、电源44组装到显示装置2中的结构。
以上说明了本发明的实施方式,但是本发明当然并不限定于这样的实施方式,能够在不脱离本发明的要旨的范围内以各种方式实施本发明。例如,在上述实施方式中,示出了在第一扩散片和第二扩散片之间设置透镜片作为光学片类的例子,但是光学片类的结构不限于此,也可以是具备透镜片、偏光反射片等的结构。另外,光学片的数量不限于3个,可以是3个以上的任意数量。另外,隔离部件26的形状也不限于上述实施方式,只要是在光学片的一个面上形成膨胀空间的结构即可。
Claims (10)
1.一种背光装置,通过相互重叠的多个光学片调整从光源发出的光的特性并照射到显示面板的背面侧,其特征在于:
在上述多个光学片之间设有膨胀空间,该膨胀空间吸收由来自上述光源的热导致的膨胀所引起的上述光学片的翘曲,通过在上述光学片的边缘部分整体或者局部地夹设隔离部件来形成上述膨胀空间。
2.根据权利要求1所述的背光装置,其特征在于:
隔着上述膨胀空间对置的光学片中的一个光学片具有带指向性的光学特性。
3.根据权利要求2所述的背光装置,其特征在于:
上述一个光学片是透镜片。
4.根据权利要求1所述的背光装置,其特征在于:
上述多个光学片包括扩散片。
5.根据权利要求1所述的背光装置,其特征在于:
上述多个光学片包括上下2个扩散片和设置在该2个扩散片之间的透镜片。
6.根据权利要求1所述的背光装置,其特征在于:
上述隔离部件被设置为与设置在上下2个扩散片之间的透镜片的一个面抵接。
7.根据权利要求1所述的背光装置,其特征在于:
上述多个光学片包括使来自上述光源的光扩散的板状的扩散板。
8.一种显示装置,其特征在于:
在权利要求1所述的背光装置的前面设置显示面板。
9.根据权利要求8所述的显示装置,其特征在于:
上述显示面板是在成对的透明基板间保持液晶而成的液晶显示面板。
10.一种电视接收机,具备接收播放电波的接收单元以及显示通过该接收单元接收到的播放电波的播放内容的显示单元,该电视接收机的特征在于:
该显示单元是权利要求8或者9所述的显示装置。
