Abstract

优先权
本申请根据35U.S.C§119(a)要求2007年5月4日在韩国知识产权局提交的、被分配序列号No.2007-43405的韩国专利申请的优先权,其整个公开在此引入作为参考。
技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的设备和方法。更特别地,本发明涉及一种如下设备和方法:控制便携式终端的内置麦克风,以便于当在与不带麦克风的耳机连接的便携式终端中发生呼叫接收/发起的呼叫连接事件时,输出音频信号被输出到所连接的耳机,而输入音频信号通过内置麦克风被接收。
背景技术
最近,随着便携式终端的快速发展,提供无线语音呼叫和数据交换的移动电话被认为是生活的必需品。传统的便携式终端通常被看作是提供无线呼叫的便携式装置。然而,随着技术的进步和无线因特网的引入,目前便携式终端用于除了用于电话呼叫或调度管理之外的多种目的。例如,可使用包含在便携式终端内的数字照相机来捕获图像。此外,便携式终端提供多种功能,例如观看卫星广播的节目、比赛;使用无线因特网在网上冲浪;观看视频;听音乐;电子邮件服务等等。
特别地,通过使用能够重放视频和音乐的便携式终端,头戴送受话器(headset)可用于在公共场所接收服务。当发动时,便携式终端一般包括头戴送受话器,以便于用户可通过包含在头戴送受话器中的扬声器接收音乐和音频服务。另外,当呼叫连接进行呼叫时,呼叫业务可通过包含在头戴送受话器中的麦克风而通过接收用户的语音来提供。
然而,由于随着便携式终端的不断发展而可以提供高质量的声音,用户一般不再满足于通过包括在便携式终端中的头戴送受话器提供的声音质量。因此,这样的用户必须根据个人爱好而另外购买用于输出高质量声音的装置。
一般而言,由用户购买的输出装置是不带麦克风的耳机。这种情况下,当在不带麦克风的耳机连接至传统便携式终端的状态下发生用于呼叫接收/发起的呼叫连接事件时,为了进行呼叫,连接到便携终端的耳机必须被拆掉。另外,用户必须不方便地从他或她的耳朵摘掉耳机。也就是,为获得高质量的声音,用户必须在呼叫连接期间经受麻烦。
发明内容
本发明的一方面是解决至少上述的问题和/或缺点,并至少提供下面描述的优点。相应地,本发明的一方面是提供一种用于控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的设备和方法。
本发明的另一方面是提供一种用于控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的设备和方法,其中当检测到呼叫连接事件时检查连接装置,并且根据该连接装置来确定是否使用内置麦克风。
本发明的又一方面是提供一种设备和方法,其中控制便携式终端的内置麦克风,使得当在与不带麦克风的耳机连接的便携式终端中发生用于呼叫接收/发起的呼叫连接事件时,将输出音频语音信号输出至所连接的耳机,并且通过内置麦克风接收输入音频信号。
根据本发明的一方面,提供一种用于控制内置麦克风的便携式终端。该便携式终端包括:内置扬声器,用于输出一输出音频信号;内置麦克风,用于接收输入音频信号;连接器,用于连接耳机或头戴送受话器;连接装置检查器,用于检查关于连接到连接器的连接装置的信息;以及控制器,用于当在接收或传送呼叫连接请求时检测到呼叫连接事件时,控制连接设备检查器检查关于当前连接的连接装置的信息,并且,如果连接装置是耳机,则控制包括在耳机中的扬声器并激活内置麦克风。
根据本发明的另一方面,提供一种用于控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的方法。该方法包括:当接收或传送呼叫连接请求时检测呼叫连接事件;当检测到呼叫连接事件时,检查关于当前连接的连接装置的信息;以及如果检查结果示出所连接的连接装置是耳机,则激活包括在耳机中的扬声器、并激活内置麦克风。

具体实施方式
本发明的优选实施例将在下面参考附图来描述。在下面的描述中,已知的功能或结构不再详细描述,因为它们将以不必要的细节中模糊本发明。
本发明涉及一种如下设备和方法:其中控制便携式终端的内置麦克风,以便于当在与不带麦克风的耳机连接的便携式终端中发生呼叫接收/发起的呼叫连接事件时,输出音频信号被输出到所连接的耳机,而输入音频信号通过内置麦克风被接收。下文中将参考图1来描述本发明。
在本发明中,耳机被定义为不包括麦克风、但包括用于输出一输出音频信号的扬声器的装置。无线耳机被定义为不包括麦克风、但包括通过例如(蓝牙)的无线连接方法无线地连接来输出一输出音频信号的扬声器的装置。头戴送受话器被定义为包括麦克风和扬声器二者的装置。无线头戴送受话器被定义为包括各自均通过例如蓝牙的无线连接方法无线地连接来传送/接收音频信号的麦克风和扬声器的装置。头戴送受话器或无线头戴送受话器也被称作耳麦(ear microphone)。
参考图1,本发明的便携式终端包括控制器100、连接装置检查器102、无线连接器104、通信单元106、存储器108、连接器110、编解码器(CODEC)112、内置扬声器114和内置麦克风116。
无线连接器104在控制器100的控制下通过连接无线装置(例如无线耳机或无线头戴送受话器)来无线地传送/接收音频信号,并且根据连接装置检查器102的请求提供关于所连接的无线装置的信息至该连接装置检查器102。无线连接器104可使用蓝牙通信技术进行无线连接。当无线连接器104使用蓝牙通信技术时,执行其中在控制器100的控制下搜索能连接的蓝牙装置、并且如果需要认证则通过配对进行蓝牙连接的一般蓝牙通信操作。在本发明中,无线连接器104是可选的,并因此可以不提供。
在接收操作中,通信单元106降低通过天线接收的射频(RF)信号的频率,并然后对所接收到的信号执行解扩和信道解码。在传送操作中,通信单元106对所接收的信号执行信道编码和扩频,增加所接收的信号的频率,并然后通过天线传送信号。另外,为了连接呼叫,通信单元106接收或传送呼叫连接请求。
存储器108存储用于控制便携式终端的整体操作的程序、应用程序和数据(例如电话号码、短消息服务(SMS)消息、压缩的图像文件、视频等)。
通过有线连接,连接器110可物理地连接至仅包括扬声器134的耳机130的连接器132,或可物理地连接至包括扬声器144和麦克风146二者的头戴送受话器140的连接器142。连接器110可包括一个可连接耳机130和头戴送受话器140两者的插座。替换地,连接器110可由用于连接耳机130的第一插座和用于连接头戴送受话器140的第二插座组成,以便于分别连接至多个装置。
CODEC 112连接到控制器100,内置麦克风114连接至CODEC 112,而且提供内置麦克风116作为用于语音呼叫的音频输入/输出块。CODEC 112将从控制器100提供的脉冲编码调制(PCM)数据转换为模拟音频信号,然后传送模拟音频信号至内置扬声器114,或通过耳机130和头戴送受话器140的扬声器144传送模拟音频信号。另外,CODEC 112将通过内置麦克风116或头戴送受话器140的麦克风146接收的输入音频信号转换为数据,然后传送数据至控制器100。
根据控制器100的请求,连接装置检查器102检查无线连接器104,以便于确定无线耳机或无线头戴送受话器是否被连接。另外,连接装置检查器102检查连接器110,以便于确定耳机或头戴送受话器是否被连接。然后,连接装置检查器102为控制器100提供关于所连接的装置的信息。
当在接收或传送呼叫连接请求时检测到呼叫连接事件时,控制器100请求连接装置检查器102发送关于当前连接的连接装置的信息,并从连接装置检查器102接收关于连接装置的信息,从而根据连接装置选择用于输入/输出音频信号的装置。
换句话说,在控制器100的控制下,一旦检测到呼叫连接事件,就通过连接装置检查器102检查关于当前连接的连接装置的信息,并且,如果连接装置是耳机或无线耳机,则输出音频信号被输出至所连接的耳机或无线耳机,并且通过激活便携式终端的内置麦克风116而接收输入音频信号。如果关于连接装置的信息是头戴送受话器(或无线头载送受话器),则通过激活头戴送受话器(或无线头戴送受话器)的扬声器和麦克风来输入/输出音频信号。如果没有连接装置被连接,则通过激活便携式终端的内置扬声器114和内置麦克风116来输入/输出音频信号。另外,在控制器100的控制下,当呼叫连接事件发生时,如果由连接装置检查器102获得的连接装置信息示出两个或更多连接装置被连接,则根据预定的优先级来选择用于提供服务的连接装置。例如,如果连接器110具有多个连接插座、并在耳机和头戴送受话器二者被连接的状态下检测到呼叫连接事件,则在控制器100的控制下通过激活头戴送受话器的扬声器和麦克风来输入/输出音频信号。
同时,控制器100控制连接装置检查器102。也就是,控制器100可执行连接装置检查器102的功能。控制器100和连接装置检查器102在本发明中是被描述为单独地实现,这仅是为了解释的目的。因此,实际中,连接装置检查器102可以合并到控制器100中、或可以与控制器100分离地提供。
现在,将参考图2描述根据本发明的控制便携式终端的麦克风的方法。图2是图示了根据本发明的实施例、取决于当在便携式终端中发生呼叫连接事件时使用哪个连接装置来确定是否使用内置麦克风的处理的流程图。
参考图2,当在步骤200中检测到呼叫连接事件时,在步骤202中检查关于所连接的连接装置的信息。
在步骤204,根据步骤202的检查结果来确定连接装置的存在。如果步骤204的确定结果示出没有连接装置被连接,则在步骤208激活内置扬声器和内置耳机,以便输入/输出音频信号。
如果步骤204的确定结果示出连接装置被连接,则在步骤206确定所连接的连接装置是否是耳机。如果步骤206的确定结果示出所连接的连接装置是耳机,则在步骤210激活耳机的扬声器和便携式终端的内置麦克风,从而通过耳机的扬声器来输出输出音频信号,并通过内置麦克风接收输入音频信号。
如果步骤206的确定结果示出所连接的连接装置不是耳机而是头戴送受话器,则激活头戴送受话器的扬声器和麦克风,从而通过耳麦输入/输出音频信号。
尽管已经在图2中描述了连接耳机和头戴送受话器,但是图2中描述的耳机可以是无线耳机,并且头戴送受话器可以是无线头戴送受话器。
根据本发明,提供了一种如下设备和方法:其中控制便携式终端的麦克风,使得当在与不带麦克风的耳机连接的便携式终端中发生呼叫接收/发起的呼叫连接事件时,输出音频信号被输出到所连接的耳机,而输入音频信号通过便携式终端的内置麦克风来接收。因此,可以在不必从便携式终端断开耳机的情况下进行呼叫,因此为用户提供了方便。
虽然已参考本发明的特定示范实施例而示出和描述了本发明,但是本领域的技术人员将理解,可以在不脱离如附加的权利要求和它们的等同物限定的本发明精神和范围的情况下进行形式上和细节上的各种变化。因此,本发明的范围不是由本发明的详细描述限定,而是由所附权利要求和它们的等同物限定,并且在所述范围内的所有差别都将被理解为包括在本发明内。
Claims (17)
1、一种用于控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的便携式终端,包括:
内置扬声器,用于输出一输出音频信号;
内置麦克风,用于接收输入音频信号;
连接器,用于将便携式终端连接至连接装置,该连接装置包括至少一个扬声器来输出所述输出音频信号;以及
控制器,用于确定连接装置被连接到连接器,并且在检测到呼叫连接事件时,用于控制连接装置的扬声器来输出所述输出音频信号,并激活便携式终端的内置麦克风来接收输入音频信号。
2、根据权利要求1的便携式终端,其中,当连接装置未连接到连接器时,所述控制器激活内置扬声器和内置麦克风。
3、根据权利要求1的便携式终端,其中,当连接装置是头戴送受话器时,所述控制器激活二者都包括在头戴送受话器中的扬声器和麦克风。
4、根据权利要求1的便携式终端,其中输出音频信号是语音音频信号。
5、根据权利要求1的便携式终端,其中连接器和连接装置之间的连接是无线连接。
6、一种用于控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的方法,包括:
确定连接装置被连接到便携式终端的连接器,其中连接装置包括至少一个扬声器来输出一输出音频信号;
当接收或传送呼叫连接请求时检测呼叫连接事件;以及
如果建立了呼叫连接,则控制连接装置的扬声器来输出所述输出音频信号,并激活便携式终端的内置麦克风来接收输入音频信号。
7、根据权利要求6的方法,还包括:当连接装置未连接到连接器时,激活内置扬声器和内置麦克风。
8、根据权利要求6的方法,还包括:当连接装置是头戴送受话器时,激活二者都包括在头戴送受话器中的扬声器和麦克风。
9、根据权利要求6的方法,其中输出音频信号是语音音频信号。
10、根据权利要求6的方法,其中连接器和连接装置之间的连接是无线连接。
11、根据权利要求6的方法,其中连接装置是耳机。
12、一种用于控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的便携式终端,包括:
用于确定连接装置被连接到便携式终端的连接器的装置,其中连接装置包括至少一个扬声器来输出一输出音频信号;
用于在接收或传送呼叫连接请求时检测呼叫连接事件的装置;
用于在建立了呼叫连接时、控制连接装置的扬声器输出所述输出音频信号并激活便携式终端的内置麦克风来接收输入音频信号的装置。
13、根据权利要求11的便携式终端,其中连接器和连接装置之间的连接是无线连接。
14、根据权利要求11的便携式终端,其中连接装置是耳机。
15、一种控制便携式终端的内置麦克风的方法,包括:
确定连接装置被连接到便携式终端的连接器,其中连接装置包括至少一个扬声器来输出一输出音频信号;以及
如果建立了语音呼叫连接,则控制连接装置的扬声器来输出所述输出音频信号、并激活便携式终端的内置麦克风来接收输入音频信号。
16、根据权利要求15的方法,其中连接装置是耳机。
17、根据权利要求15的方法,其中连接器和连接装置之间的连接是无线连接。
