当期望添加到基体的木基成分可加固外形时,必须考虑所添加成分的纤维长度和形状。用于木塑复合材料的木屑被如此成形以使其实际上不是加固产品,而是相反地,仅在塑料基体中发挥填料的功能。在木塑复合材料中通常使用的木屑的大小在40到60目的范围(从250到425μm),因此当其被使用时,在原料的生产场所——例如锯木厂——已经丢失一些木材纤维的最初长度。另外,由木屑制成的木塑复合材料的原料在实际加工之前通过颗粒化进行预加工。这样的机械应力甚至更缩短了木材纤维,并且附加的加工还削弱了基体塑料的性能。附加加工也增加了生产成本。
在实际处理前,通常需要干燥木屑或木片,因为填料中的高含湿量会削弱所制造产品的质量。在此处理过程中,被气化的水蒸汽产生气泡至外形,其影响产品的外观及机械性能。作为附加处理所进行的干燥是不必要的步骤,原因在于附加成本及爆炸风险。
传统的木塑复合材料与纯塑料相比具有相对高的吸水性和水溶胀。这是由木材纤维的亲水性和木屑颗粒相对大的表面积引起的。众所周知,在拟用于户外使用的复合材料中,木基成分的份额可能不超过45%,优选小于40%。复合材料的价格由所需基体塑料的份额和价格来确定,因此在应用的场所要求湿度条件相当大地提高了产品的价格。
用被处理成颗粒形式的木材废料和再生塑料制造木材复合材料也是现有技术已知的。用纸和热塑性材料制造木材复合材料也可从出版物US 4874095得知,并且用基于木材和基于塑料的材料制造木材复合材料还可从出版物US 20020034629和US 3718536中得知。
发明目的
本发明目的是消除上述提到的不足。本发明的一个具体的目的是公开新型的木材复合材料及其制造方法。本发明的另一个目的是公开用于加工胶粘层压品废料的新方法和结合该加工过程生产的有用产品。
发明概述
依照本发明的产品和方法以权利要求中所示出的为特征。
本发明是基于木材复合材料。依照本发明,该木材复合材料由胶粘层压品废料形成,胶粘层压品废料包含粘合材料、胶和剥离材料并且被处理成碎料,该碎料被处理成木材复合材料。
另外,本发明是基于制造木材复合材料的方法。依照本发明,被处理成碎料且包含粘合材料、胶及剥离材料的胶粘层压品废料被处理成木材复合材料,优选地,不将胶粘层压材料预颗粒化成颗粒。
在发明的一个实施方式中,碎料通过挤压、模铸、板压或以类似的方式被处理成木材复合材料。
这里,木材复合材料指由废料制成的组合产品,所述废料从胶粘层压品工厂及其买主得到,并且包含粘合材料例如标签、表面材料或类似物,和胶及剥离材料。
在一个优选的实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料由粘合材料形成,在粘合材料上已被设置有胶层,以及适合在胶层上、发挥其保护层功能的是在应用场所可容易被剥离的剥离材料。
在本发明的一个实施方式中,胶选自分散胶、热熔胶或其混合物。已知的胶本质上可用于胶粘层压品。
在本发明的一个实施方式中,粘合材料和/或剥离材料包括木基成分和/或基于塑料或聚合物的成分或其它有机成分。
在本发明的一个实施方式中,粘合材料和/或剥离材料是基于木材纤维的纸、纸板或类似物。在一个实施方式中,粘合材料和/或剥离材料为高级纸,即无木质的纸,因此,其不含木质素。在一个实施方式中,基于木材纤维的纸、纸板或类似物包括基于塑料或聚合物的材料或被用基于塑料或聚合物的材料进行处理。在一个实施方式中,粘合材料和/或剥离材料可基本上由基于塑料或聚合物的材料形成。
在本发明的一个实施方式中,剥离材料包括基于硅氧烷的成分。剥离材料优选地被硅烷化。在本发明的一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料包括附加塑料,其可以是未使用过的或再生的塑料。依照本发明,木材复合材料可使用或不使用附加塑料进行制造。
在一个优选的实施方式中,附加塑料例如聚烯烃、聚丙烯、聚乙烯(HDPE、LDPE)、PVC或其它合适的塑料或其混合物可被添加到胶粘层压品废料,以便制造木材复合材料。在一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料和附加塑料被作为一个流动送入木材复合材料的生产中。在另一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料和附加塑料被作为分开的流动送入木材复合材料的生产中。在制造木材复合材料之前,胶粘层压品废料和附加塑料可优选地被混合成均匀混合物。可选择地,与制造木材复合材料结合,附加塑料被送入胶粘层压品废料。在一个实施方式中,添加的塑料的量优选小于50%,更优选地在10%到30%的范围。在一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料或其一些成分包含足够量的基于塑料或聚合物的成分,而没有添加附加塑料。
在本发明一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料包括添加剂。在本发明的一个实施方式中,所希望的且适合的添加剂被添加到胶粘层压品碎料,然后将碎料处理成木材复合材料,例如在挤压之前,和/或在制造木材复合材料的过程中,例如在挤压过程中。在一个实施方式中,所使用的添加剂可以是偶联剂,例如MAPP(马来酐衍生物)——以提高胶粘层压品碎料和聚合物/塑料间的粘合,滑石——用于润滑表面和产生硬度,着色剂和/或增滑剂。还可将不同的防火剂、防霉剂、紫外稳定剂或类似物用作添加剂。
在一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料包含基于金属的成分。
在本发明的一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料、附加塑料和/或添加剂间的混合比率在方法中调整。通过改变胶粘层压品碎料的颗粒大小和附加塑料的量及性质,以及通过添加其它填料和加固剂,木材复合材料的性能可以被调整以适于各产品的应用。与传统的由木屑制成的木塑复合材料——其中木屑的颗粒大小和形状对所生产的复合材料的机械性能有相当大的影响——相比,由胶粘层压品废料碎料提供的复合材料料在其机械性能方面是显著更加多功能的。优选地,木材复合材料的机械性能例如弹性、吸水性及其它机械性能通过改变碎料的颗粒大小和/或附加塑料的量及性质进行调整。
在一个优选的实施方式中,木材复合材料中的胶粘层压品废料的份额基本上大于50%。
在本发明的一个实施方式中,在制造木材复合材料之前,胶粘层压品废料被切碎且过筛成期望颗粒大小的碎料。在一个实施方式中,被送入到生产中的碎料的颗粒大小为从1到10mm。在一个实施方式中,碎料的颗粒大小为3到5mm。
胶粘层压品废料可以结合根据本发明的方法被切碎或其可以已是碎料的形式。
任何已知的合适的生产方法本质上可与本发明结合使用。
成品的胶粘层压产品以及从它们或从其制造中产生的废料可以被用于制造该木材复合材料。来自进一步加工和最终用途的生产废料和再生材料也可被使用。
在本发明的一个实施方式中,胶粘层压品废料从胶粘层压品生产中得到,其主要包含生产废料、从卷切下的边缘条带废料以及卷末端;从胶粘层压品挤压设备得到,其主要包括卷末端;从模切粘着物和标签留下的粘合材料以及废料;和/或从胶粘层压品终端用户得到,所述用户将压制的粘着物和标签或类似物粘贴到产品上。从终端用户得到的废料主要包括剥离材料、卷末端和来自最终产品的废物。从不同阶段中得到的胶粘层压品废料种类在它们的组成上有所不同,并且可被混合至适合的胶粘层压品废料混合物。以这种方式,通过收集所述产品生命周期不同阶段的废料,并且通过再生所收集的废物,可实现再生和可持续发展的原则。
先前已知的木塑复合材料中的木屑和木基成分含有木质素,所述木质素由于紫外辐射会分解,从而削弱了木材的性能。结合本发明使用的胶粘层压品中使用的纸大多数情况下由化学纸浆制成,因此不含有木质素。由于没有木质素,这使得胶粘层压品的纤维部分更均匀、稳定和强劲。化学纸浆纤维也比已机械地造出的纤维材料更长。
依照本发明的方法适用于加工不同种类的胶粘层压品废料材料以及用于制造木材复合材料。这种方法形成的产品可用于各种应用,例如边缘板、卷轴心、建筑材料、庭院板、设计产品或类似物。
依照本发明的方法允许同时处理胶粘层压品废料及生产有用的产品。胶粘层压品废料不可用于普通纸再生,这是由于其中含有的胶、塑料、聚合物、硅氧烷及类似物。
依照本发明的木材复合材料是非常环境友好的且促进可持续发展的原则。本发明提供这样的产品,其自身是再生材料且可被作为再生材料使用,还符合更加严格的环境规定。
依照本发明,该产品具有耐候性、柔韧性、机械性强、在制造过程中易于成型和抗磨性。依照本发明,该产品也容易加工且具有很好的弹性性能。由于弹性性能,该产品可容易地被钉牢,而没有裂痕以及不需要使用预先钻出的孔。
依照本发明的方法非常简便,其减少投资和加工成本。
发明详述
在以下部分中,将借助详细的示例性实施方式对本发明进行描述。实施例1
拟用作包装边缘板的外形必须强劲且具有足够的弹性,以能够承受拉紧包装带所产生的急剧压缩力。为了制造适于用作边缘板的外形,胶粘层压品材料被切成碎料并且该碎料被过筛至4和5mm的颗粒大小。两种颗粒大小在原料流中具有相等的份额。10%的LDPE被加入到碎料,并且该产品被以158kg/h的生产速度挤压成L-外形,块状物的温度是137℃。30×150×7.5mm的检测样品被从边缘板外形锯下,并依照标准SFS-EN ISO 178,使用3点弯曲进行弯曲。从材料获得的弯曲强度为29.3N/mm2以及弹性模量为1030N/mm2。实施例2
层压卷轴芯必须强而硬,以便承受在使用期间作用到卷轴的力和制造尺寸精确的层压卷轴。在制造芯外形中,15%的PP、10%的滑石和3%的偶联剂被加入至3mm的胶粘层压品碎料中。通过挤压机被塑化的块状物以140kg/h的速度通过芯模具,块状物的温度为185℃。为了材料检测,100mm的块被从芯锯下,用于以10mm/min的速率测定它们在水平和垂直方向的压缩强度。获得的材料压缩强度水平方向为2.9±0.1kN和垂直方向为78.8±1.2kN。实施例3
拟用于户外使用的庭院板必须机械上强劲而且还具有低的吸水性,以便吸入产品的湿气将不造成由潮湿导致的任何微生物生长、尺寸改变或其他改变。为了生产适于户外使用的产品,30%的LDPE被加入到4mm的胶粘层压品碎料中。为了产品检测,产品被以80kg/h的生产速率挤压成L-外形,块状物的温度为170℃。检测样品被从L-外形锯下,用于依照标准SFS-EN ISO 62检测它们的吸水性。所获得的吸水性在24-48-72-192-384和1152h之后为0.69-0.88-0.93-1.53-1.87和4.10%。实施例4
为了进一步改善庭院板的吸水性——所述庭院板适于更多要求条件下的户外使用,样品依照实施例3进行生产,但加入5%的偶联剂至上述原料。获得的材料吸水性在24-48-72-192-384和1152h之后为0.50-0.64-0.83-1.26-1.38和2.75%。实施例5
除了低吸水性和机械强度之外,拟用于户外使用的庭院必须容易加工。传统的和先前已知的木材复合材料的通常问题是在钉的过程中它们容易破裂。
在制造庭院板外形中,10%的滑石、23%的PP和3%的偶联剂被加入至胶粘层压品碎料中。该材料被以120kg/h的速率挤压出,块状物的温度为175℃。产生的庭院板使用3-点弯曲依照标准EN 310进行检测,所获得的弯曲强度为13.5N/mm2。所产生的板容易加工和固定,这是由于其可被精确地均匀锯成复杂的形状,和当需要时其可被钉住或用螺丝固定,而没有使板破裂的风险。
总之,试验显示:基于胶粘层压品的材料提供易于使用的木材复合材料产品,其可被容易地赋予希望的性能,例如强度、稳定性、弹性、弹回性和可加工性,以用于不同的领域。可以看到:所提供的产品的性能符合在各领域中所要求的标准。
在不同的实施方式中,依照本发明的方法适用于制造不同种类的木材复合材料和加工胶粘层压品废料。
本发明的实施方式并不被上述提及的实施例限制;相反,在所附权利要求的范围内,许多变化都是有可能的。
Claims (14)
1.木材复合材料,其特征在于其是由再生的胶粘层压品废料形成,所述再生的胶粘层压品废料包含粘合材料、胶和剥离材料并且被处理成碎料,所述剥离材料包含基于硅氧烷的成分,所述碎料被处理成所述木材复合材料,以及所述胶粘层压品废料从胶粘层压品生产、胶粘层压品挤压设备和/或胶粘层压品终端用户得到。
2.依照权利要求1所述的木材复合材料,其特征在于所述粘合材料和/或所述剥离材料包含基于木材纤维的成分和/或基于聚合物的成分。
3.依照权利要求1或2所述的木材复合材料,其特征在于所述粘合材料和/或所述剥离材料是基于木材纤维的纸。
4.依照权利要求3所述的木材复合材料,其特征在于所述粘合材料和/或所述剥离材料为无木质的纸。
5.依照权利要求1到4中的任一项所述的木材复合材料,其特征在于所述木材复合材料包含附加塑料。
6.依照权利要求1所述的木材复合材料,其特征在于所述木材复合材料包含添加剂。
7.用于制造木材复合材料的方法,其特征在于胶粘层压品废料被再生至所述木材复合材料生产中,其中包含粘合材料、胶和剥离材料的所述胶粘层压品废料从胶粘层压品生产、胶粘层压品挤压设备和/或胶粘层压品终端用户收集,所述剥离材料包含基于硅氧烷的成分,所述胶粘层压品废料被处理成碎料,以及所述木材复合材料由所述碎料形成。
8.依照权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于附加塑料被添加到所述胶粘层压品废料,并且所述胶粘层压品废料和所述附加塑料被作为一个流送入所述木材复合材料的生产中。
9.依照权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于附加塑料被添加到所述胶粘层压品废料,并且所述胶粘层压品废料和所述附加塑料被作为分开的流送入所述木材复合材料的生产中。
10.依照权利要求7到9中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于在制造所述木材复合材料之前或过程中,期望的添加剂被添加到所述胶粘层压品废料中。
11.依照权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于在制造所述木材复合材料之前,所述胶粘层压品废料被切成和任选地被过筛至期望的颗粒大小。
12.依照权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于被送到所述木材复合材料生产中的所述碎料的颗粒大小为从1到10mm。
13.依照权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于所述胶粘层压品废料、所述附加塑料和/或所述添加剂间的混合比率在所述方法中调整。
14.依照权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于所述碎料通过挤压、模铸、板压被处理成所述木材复合材料。
