Abstract

Description

用于读取存储磷光板的扫描装置
技术领域
本发明通常涉及轴导向光学系统,且尤其涉及利用光束进行扫描介质的系统。
背景技术
计算机放射摄影(CR)领域在医学领域已为人熟知。使用CR,存储荧光屏(storage phosphor plate)具有通过将对象(例如人体部分)暴露于X射线而形成在其上的放射线图像。随后,暴露的存储荧光屏提供到读取器/扫描器,其中,该板被一个光频率的放射线激励以发射(emit)其它光频率的放射线图像。发射的图像被捕获,转变为数字射线照片I图像,并存储、显示或用其它方式使用。
暴露于x射线的存储荧光屏的扫描器能够在平板或旋转鼓的外表面上执行其功能。这种放射图像读出装置是公知的,例如,参照美国专利No.4,886,968(Ohnshi)、5,396,081(Ogura)、5,635,728(Cantu),和6,791,101(Koren)。
这种扫描装置的光学系统是公知的。例如,JP未审查专利公布号Hei 6-160311针对的是放射图像读取装置。美国专利No.4,453,180(Juergenen)针对的是光拾取装置。美国专利No.5,399,877(Carter)针对的是放射敏感区域检测设备和方法。美国专利No.5,598,008(Livi)针对的是波长选择性集光器系统。公开号为2005/0139794(Kerr)的美国专利申请针对的是用于多轴扫描模块的方法和系统。
虽然这种系统在它们的特定应用中可能已达到一定程度的效果,但仍存在对提供改进的集光效率的扫描装置的光学系统的需求,尺寸上紧凑且包括减少的元件数量。
需要一种提供提高的精确度和质量的、用于扫描存储荧光屏的光学系统。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供包括光学系统的扫描装置。
本发明的另一目的是提供尺寸上紧凑的这种扫描装置。
本发明的又一目的是提供适用于计算机放射摄影读取器/扫描器的这种扫描装置。
这些目的仅以图解说明示例的方式给出,并且这种目的可能是本发明一个或多个实施例的示例。由所公开的发明本身达到的其它期望目标和优点可以出现或为本领域技术人员所理解。本发明由所附权利要求书限定。
根据本发明的一个方面,提供了包括柱形构件和光学系统的扫描装置。柱形构件是可围绕转动轴旋转的并且具有适于支承其上存储磷光样本(storage phosphor sample)的外表面。该光学系统设置为接近外表面并且在基本平行于柱形构件转动轴的方向上可平位移动(translation)以便扫描样本。光学系统包括开口、激励束、集成构件和单检测器。引导激励束沿着第一轴穿过开口以冲击样本并导致光从样本发射,其中第一轴垂直于转动轴。集成构件利用提供漫反射的内部三维多项式表面(polynomial surface)反射发射光。该开口被设置为相邻于外表面,激励束被引导通过其而冲击样本。单检测器设置为相邻于用于采集反射的发射光的集成构件,单检测器设置为沿着基本平行于转动轴的轴。

具体实施方式
以下是对本发明优选实施例的详述,对附图作出了标记,其中相同标记号码标识在这几张图中的各图的相同结构元件。
本发明针对包括轴导向光学系统的扫描装置。
参照图1,示出了包括柱形构件12和光学系统14的扫描装置10。柱形构件12是可围绕转动轴16旋转的。
柱形构件12包括能够支承一个或多个存储磷光样本20的外表面18,其中这些样本可以是相同大小或不同大小。样本20静止地固定到外表面18,并且光学系统14在基本平行于转动轴16的方向22上平位移动以便扫描样本20。
用于将样本附到外表面18和从分离外表面18取下的部件能够通过本领域技术人员已知的部件实现。例如,图2显示了固定件/模板30具有用于将固定件30附到柱形构件12/从柱形构件12取下的构件31。固定件30可以包括尺寸定制为适于接收样本20的囊或槽32。备选地,囊32能够直接附到外表面18。
提供了图3以更具体地介绍光学系统14。如图3所示,样本20支承在柱形构件12的外表面18上,使得光学系统14设置为最接近样本20。光学系统14包括朝向样本20的开口40。激励束42被引导,沿着第一轴44穿过开口40从而冲击样本20并导致光从样本20发射。激励束42对样本20的冲击如图3中45所示。正如本领域技术人员已知,激励束42可以是激光束或其它形式或从源46发出的光,其适于激励样本20的存储磷光。
如图3所示,第一轴44垂直于转动轴16。激励束42能够被引导,径直沿着第一轴44。或者,如图3所示,激励束42能够被反射性构件48(例如镜子)从不平行于第一轴44的第二轴弯曲。弯曲激励束能够为光学系统14提供更紧凑的设置。
光学系统14还包括集成构件50,用于采集和反射从样本20发射的光。反射光在图3中示作光线51。集成构件50的内表面52由三维多项式形状限定。尤其是,内表面52限定为椭圆形,其中它的一个焦点是激光在样本20上的冲击点。
内表面52提供漫反射。也就是说,内表面52包括漫射的材料/涂层/层。这种反射性材料市场上有售,例如,硫化钡,″Spectral″或Spectralact涂层(Spectralact Coating)可以是具有优良的漫反射特性的漫射白色表面。该漫射表面使集成构件具备合计(sum)进入构件的光的性能,而不依赖使图像均匀包括这些边缘的能线图。
应该注意的是,引导激励束42穿过集成构件50,沿着第一轴44穿过开口40从而冲击样本20。
光学系统1还包括单检测器54,单检测器54设置为相邻于用于采集反射的发射光的集成构件50。如图3所示,检测器54设置为沿基本平行于转动轴16的轴56。如此,检测器54的面设置为基本垂直于开口40。
正如本领域技术人员已知,检测器54可以是将从样本发出的光变换为电信号的光电倍增管。
如图3所示,光学系统14的开口40朝向样本20。例如,开口40可以是其尺寸由以下假设限定的小(例如,圆的)孔,该假设是从冲击点发出的光具有Lambetian形状,因此要采集最大值(例如,98%)的光需要114度的采集角,因此直径由从冲击点表面到开口的距离限定。
光学系统14和样本20之间需要有最小间距。在一种设置中,如果存储磷光样本设置在外表面上,光学系统14与存储磷光样本的间距不大于7mm。在优选设置中,如果存储磷光样本设置在外表面,光学系统14与存储磷光样本的间距大约为3mm。
已经详细参照优选实施例对本发明作了具体介绍,但应该理解地是,在本发明精神和范围内能够实现变型和修改。因此,从任何方面来讲,本公开实施例被认为是说明性的而非限制性的。

Claims (4)

1.一种扫描装置,包括:
柱形构件(12),能够围绕转动轴(16)旋转,所述柱形构件具有外表面(18),所述外表面适于支承其上的存储磷光样本(20);及
光学系统(14),设置为接近所述外表面并且在基本平行于所述柱形构件(12)的转动轴(16)的方向上能够平移,以扫描所述样本,所述光学系统包括:
开口(40);
光源(46),用于引导激励束(42)沿第一轴(44)穿过所述开口(40)以冲击样本以使得当存储磷光样本设置在所述外表面时,所述激励束导致光从样本发射;
反射所发射光的集成构件(50),所述集成构件具有提供漫反射(51)的内部表面(52),所述激励束(42)被引导,沿所述第一轴(44)穿过所述集成构件(50)并通过所述开口(40),以冲击所述样本;及
检测器(54),设置为相邻于所述集成构件(50)以便采集从所述集成构件(50)发射的反射光,其特征在于:
当所述光学系统平行于所述转动轴平移时,沿着所述第一轴(44)相对于所述光学系统引导所述激励束(42),而且所述第一轴(44)垂直于所述转动轴(16);以及
沿着基本平行于所述转动轴(16)的轴(56),将所述反射的光(51)从所述集成构件(50)发射到所述检测器(54)上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的扫描装置,其特征还在于,如果存储磷光样本设置在所述外表面(18)上并且所述开口(40)具有为收集期望百分比的所发射的光所选定的直径,则所述光学系统(14)的开口(40)与存储磷光样本间距不大于7mm。
3.根据权利要求1所述的扫描装置,其特征还在于,如果存储磷光样本设置在所述外表面(18)上并且所述开口(40)具有为收集期望百分比的所发射的光所选定的直径,则所述光学系统(14)的开口(40)与所述存储磷光样本(20)间距大约为3mm。
4.根据权利要求1所述的扫描装置,其特征还在于,所述集成组件(50)的所述内部表面(52)限定具有沿着所述第一轴(44)的焦点的椭圆,当将样本放置在所述外表面(18)上时,所述焦点在所述样本(20)上。
