Abstract

Description

用于建筑物的安全系统
技术领域
本发明大致涉及卡车装载码头,更具体地涉及用于此码头的报警系统。 
背景技术
许多建筑物都可能具有带装载码头的通道,以便于在卡车和建筑物之间转移货物。装载码头是通常与卡车车厢或它的拖车一样高的平台。码头也可包括装卸跳板,该装卸跳板为可垂直移动的斜坡,其补偿平台和卡车车厢之间可能存在的高度差异。装卸跳板还可提供可以使人员和材料运输设备能在平台和卡车之间通行的桥梁。 
为了防止天气和失窃,建筑物的通道可包括手动门或自动门。为了不干扰卡车后部或者不干扰正好在通道内的货物及其活动,装载码头的门通常是以垂直运动来进行开和关的,但也可能会用到其它类型的门。 
当码头上没有卡车且天气暖和时,可以让门敞开,让外面的新鲜空气使建筑物通风。但让门敞开增加了建筑物内人员或材料运输或者其它设备的风险,该风险来自从码头的平台边缘意外跌落并经过敞开着的通道落到行车道。另外,将门敞开降低了建筑物的安全性,因为未被许可的人员或职员可经由无安全防范措施的通道而进入行窃。 
为了在穿过通道提供通风的同时尽量减少跌落的危险,有些装载码头包括流失(runoff)固障碍物,该障碍物当卡车不在场时将通道挡住,另外在必要时移到非阻拦位置。这类障碍物的示侧在美国专利5,271,183和5,299,386中公开。 
目前的装载码头系统,不管有还是没有附加障碍物,它们所缺少 的是针对由于当码头上没有卡车在场的同时建筑物的门或障碍物开着所存在的跌落危险而对在建筑物内的码头工人发出警告的机构。 
发明内容
本发明公开了一种用于建筑物的安全系统,所述建筑物包括适于接收车辆的通道,且具有与其相连的障碍物,所述障碍物在阻拦位置和非阻拦位置之间可移动,所述阻拦位置用于阻挡所述通道的至少一部分以帮助保护所述建筑物内的远程物体,所述非阻拦位置用于较少的阻挡,所述安全系统包括: 
邻近所述通道布置的车辆传感器,其中所述车辆传感器判定邻近所述通道的所述车辆的存在; 
邻近所述通道布置的障碍物传感器,其中所述障碍物传感器判定所述障碍物是否处于所述阻拦位置;以及 
对所述障碍物传感器和所述车辆传感器进行响应的报警系统,其中所述报警系统提供对所述障碍物传感器判定所述障碍物不在阻拦位置以及所述车辆传感器判定所述车辆不邻近所述通道进行响应的报警信号。 
本发明还公开了一种用于包括通道的建筑物的安全系统,其中:所述通道适于接收车辆,且具有与之相连的障碍物,所述障碍物在阻拦位置和非阻拦位置之间可移动,所述阻拦位置阻挡所述通道以帮助保护所述建筑物内的远程物体,所述非阻拦位置暴露所述通道,所述安全系统包括: 
邻近所述通道布置的车辆传感器,其中所述车辆传感器判定邻近所述通道的所述车辆的存在; 
邻近所述通道布置的障碍物传感器,其中所述障碍物传感器判定所述障碍物是否处于所述阻拦位置;以及 
判定所述建筑物内的所述远程物体是否在邻近于通道的某个区域内的远程物体传感器;以及 
对所述障碍物传感器、所述车辆传感器和所述远程物体传感器进行响应的报警系统,使得: 
i.所述报警系统提供对判定所述障碍物不在所述阻拦位置以及所述车辆不邻近所述通道的所述障碍物传感器和所速车辆传感器进行响应的报警信号,以及 
ii.所述报警系统提供对所述障碍物不在所述阻拦位置、所述车辆未邻近所述通道、且所述远程物体处于邻近所述通道的某个区域内同时发生时进行响应的警告信号。 
本发明还公开了一种用于建筑物的安全方法,所述建筑物包括适于接收车辆并连接有障碍物的通道,所述障碍物在阻挡所述通道的阻拦位置和暴露所述通道的非阻拦位置之间可移动,所述安全方法包括: 
判定所述车辆是否邻近所述通道; 
判定所述障碍物是否处于阻拦位置;以及 
产生对判定所述障碍物不在所述阻拦位置且所述车辆未邻近所述通道进行响应的报警信号。 
在一些实施例中,用于建筑物的装载码头的安全系统对由于当码头上无卡车在场时门或障碍物开着而存在的跌落危险可向建筑物内的码头工人发出警告。 
在一些实施例中,码头除了包括门以外,还包括障碍物,而在另一些实施例中,门本身就可以用做障碍物,而省去附加的障碍物。 
在一些实施例中,障碍物附接在门上,而在其它实施例中,则将障碍物独立于门安装。 
在一些实施例中,传感器判定是否有卡车或其它类型的车辆处于通道的一定距离之内,例如,其中此一定的距离足以让装卸跳板的边缘靠上卡车的车厢。 
在一些实施例中,传感器判定是否有卡车或其它类型的车辆是在通道的一定距离之内,其中该一定距离足以让车辆限动器和卡车的ICC杆(后部碰撞防护)接合。 
在一些实施例中,传感器判定是否有物体(body)跨过视线进入某一区域或来到通道的某一距离以内。 
在一些实施例中,以与装卸跳板相连的应变计或标尺的形式的远程物体传感器判定人或物体的重量何时落在装卸跳板的平台上,传感器能够由此判定该物体是否接近通道。 
在有些实施例中,当门关着时,安全系统对远程物体传感器没有反应。 
在一些实施例中,安全系统使用可视且有声的警报来表示可能发生危险的不同级别。 
在有些实施例中,安全系统提供标识何时可能出现危险的时间戳。

具体实施方式
图1-6提供了带有通道12和装载码头14的建筑物10的内部视图,其中显示装载码头处于各种不同的情况之下。在一定的条件下,安全系统16会发出一个或多个报警信号,对有人或东西可能从码头14的升高的平台18上可能跌落的潜在跌落危险发出警告。例如,当卡车24或其它类型的车辆不在码头上时,如果让门20和障碍物22敞开,如图3所示,报警系统26(由控制器驱动的报警器)就会发出有声或可视报警信号28,对在此危险区域的码头工人进行报警。在一些实施例中,系统26还可能发出更明显的有声或可视警告信号30(图6)来表示更紧迫的危险,例如物体32(人、叉车,等等)危险地接近平台18暴露的边缘。 
该安全功能可以通过许多种方法来实现,所以应理解,图1-15只是该发明的举例说明。安全系统16(报警系统26加上其传感器)的反应取决于码头上当时存在的情形。 
例如,图1显示了在卡车支靠着码头时门20是开着的。在这种情况下,因为正在码头上的卡车24已经减小或消除了物体从平台18上跌落下来并进入车道或者从装在平台上的常规装卸跳板34上跌落的可能性,因而就可不必报警。 
图2显示门20关闭,门板36在此处将通道12封住。当门20闭上时,除非是仍旧担心有什么东西会将门冲破,否则可不必需要报警。 
图3显示的是无卡车在码头上而门20开着。因为这样会形成跌落的潜在危险,可以将控制器38接线或编程来触发报警器40,使之发出 报警信号28,举个例子,如红色的闪光灯。在车辆传感器42判定卡车24未在通道12(如图9)一定的距离44之内并且障碍物传感器48判定门20没有关上时,控制器38就可以触发报警器40来对此做出反应。传感器48被称作是“障碍物传感器”是因为门20可被当作是障碍物本身。在一些实施例中,例如,省去障碍物22,门板36独自(或与添加的结构结合起来)用作流失障碍物。 
门20的障碍物传感器48示意性地示出,以代表任何用来探测门板36的特定位置的装置。更进一步参照图7,障碍物传感器48的示例包括但不局限于上端行程限制开关48a、下端行程限制开关48b、旋转开关(图1-6)、机电开关、电磁传感器、超声波近程传感器、限制开关、接近开关、光电眼,霍尔效应传感器、磁性开关,等等。 
车辆传感器42被示意性地示出,以代表用采探测车辆24接近或位于通道12的特定距离之内的任何装置。车辆传感器42的示例包括但不限于旋转开关、机电开关、由卡车轮胎50促动的踏板开关42a(图7)、由码头密封/遮盖52的运动促动的开关42b、由车辆限动器54的运动促动的开关42e、由缓冲器56的运动来促动的开关42d、由装卸跳板34的运动来促动的开关42e、电磁传感器、超声波近程传感器42f、限制开关、接近开关、光电眼、霍尔效应传感器、磁性开关,等等。 
在可选实施例中,当车辆传感器42判定无卡车在码头上,而与此同时障碍物传感器46确定障碍物22是处于非阻挡位置时,可将控制器38布线或编程来触发报警器40。障碍物传感器46示意性地示出,以代表用来探测障碍物22的特定位置的任何装置。再进一步参照图7,障碍物传感器46的示例包括但不局限于行程限制开关46a、卷绕鼓上的旋转开关(图1-6),机电开关、电磁传感器、超声波近程传感器、接近开关、光电眼、霍尔效应传感器、磁性开关,等等。可以将障碍物传感器46安装在支撑障碍物22的第一支柱60上,或者可以将障碍物传感器46b安装在障碍物22的第二支柱64上。 
在再另一可选方案中,响应于车辆传感器42判定卡车24尚未到位或不在通道12的某一距离44之内(见图9)且障碍物传感器48判定门20没有关上,那么控制器38则会布线或编程来触发报警器40。此外,应理解,这个以及其它的实施例中所描述的传感器42的位置仅只是为了说明目的,而传感器42的其它位置,例如外部安装于与码头相邻的建筑物上,可能也是优选的。 
图4显示的是障碍物22从图3中的其非阻拦位置移动到图5中的其阻拦位置。在阻拦位置,障碍物22将敞开着的通道挡住,以帮助防止有东西掉过去。尽管很多不同类型的障碍物都能起作用,但在这个特定示例中,障碍物22是坚韧的织物板58,其可以在阻拦位置和非阻拦位置之间移动。在图3的非阻拦位置,板58卷绕于支撑在第一支柱60里面的装有弹簧的、可旋转的鼓上。在图5的阻拦位置,板58的一端62挂在第二支柱64上,使得板58在支柱60和支柱64之间提供绷紧的保护栏。 
在图5中,响应于传感器46判定障碍物58处于其阻拦位置,此处障碍物减少或消除了跌落的危险,控制器38断开报警器40。 
图6显示的是当跌落的危险引起紧迫的威胁时,例如当物体32接近开着的通道时,应如何构造安全系统26来对此做出反应。为了实现这个功能,当门是开着的且无卡车在场,且障碍物22处于其未阻挡的位置时,物体32来到与通道12邻近的某一区域66以内,那么控制器38就会触动报警器68来产生警告信号30,此信号为有声信号或者其它有别于报警信号28的信号。控制器38触动报警器68以回应远程物体传感器70,它被示意性地示出,以代表用来确定物体32是否在区域66以内(例如,在通道的某一距离以内)的任何装置。远程物体传感器70的示例包括但不限于金属探测器、运动探测器、用于感应物体重量何时落在装卸跳板的平台74上的与装卸跳板34相关联的重量探测器70a(例如,附接到唇部保持架72)、红外线传感器,判定是否有物体跨过其光束或光线的光电眼,超声波近程传感器、电磁辐射天线, 等等。尽管图1-6显示远程物体传感器70是装在上方位置,但图7表明远程物体传感器70b可以安装在适合特定类型传感器的任何位置。 
在某些情况中,控制器38可包括失效开关76,用于在某些条件下,比如说,需要对此区域的门或其它设备进行维护时,使报警器68失效。例如,如果报警系统既包括可视信号又包括有声信号,可将开关76设置为可以使有声信号不再发出声音,但仍允许可视信号的触动。 
图8仅仅显示了可以达到上述效果的许多可能的控制方案的一例。图8的各种元件为示意符号或表示,用来表示什么可以与车辆传感器42相对应,什么可以与障碍物传感器48、障碍物传感器46、物体传感器70、失效控制开关76、报警器40、以及报警器68相对应,其中,42’对应42,48’对应48,等等。在图8中,各种传感器或开关都被显示在其“正常”的位置,即卡车24不在(通常传感器42’的闭合接点是闭上的),门20是开着的(通常传感器48’的闭合接点是闭上的),障碍物22处在其非阻拦位置(通常传感器46’的闭合接点是闭上的),物体32不在区域66范围以内(通常传感器70’的断开接点是断开的),而失效开关76’是处在其正常闭合的位置。控制器38会触动可视报警器40’,直到至少出现以下几种情况中的一种为止,那就是卡车24的到来使车辆传感器42’接点断开,门20关上使障碍物传感器48’的接点断开,或者障碍物22关上使障碍物传感器46’的接点断开。在障碍物自身设有门的情况下,障碍物传感器46’省略(或短路)。如果除了可视报警器40’被触动外,物体32进入区域66使远程物体传感器70’接点闭合,控制器38还触动有声报警器68’。可以加上时钟78来建立时间戳,用以识别报警器68’(和/或报警器40’)何时被触动过,这对事故的调查会很有用。 
图7和9显示的是障碍物80的另一个示例,其中障碍物80包括在阻拦位置(图7中的虚线)和非阻拦位置(图7和图9中的实线)之间枢轴转动的臂82。图7和9还显示带有唇部86的装卸跳板34,其上部边缘88可被用作阻止意外跌落的障碍物,特别是对材料运输设 备。此装卸跳板的示例在美国专利4,920,598中公开,其通过引用特别结合于本文中。如果这些传感器中的任意一个用于本文公开的安全系统中,将会有一个相关联的传感器或感应方案(例如,图7中传感器46a)来判定障碍物是否不在阻拦位置上。 
图10-13显示的是如何能够将吸震障碍物90直接装在门板92上,使得门94的打开和关闭能够让障碍物90在其阻拦位置(图10、12和13)和非阻拦位置(图11)之间移动。在此示例中,障碍物90包括扯紧在两个装于门上的支架98之间的尼龙带96。当门94关上使障碍物90移动到其阻拦位置时,支架98接合两个支柱100,使得当物体102,例如叉车,意外的冲撞到如图13所示的带96上时,支架98将冲击力转移到支柱100上,以帮助保护门板92使其免受完全的冲击。支柱100里的槽104可以使门94将障碍物从支柱里面举升到外面。当障碍物90在其阻拦位置时,相关的传感器可以感应到,与前面的实施例一致。 
尽管本发明参考优选的实施例进行描述,但是本领域普通技术人员应注意,各种修改都恰在本发明的范围之内。因此,本发明的范围将参照所附的权利要求来确定。 

Claims (7)

1.一种用于建筑物的安全系统,所述建筑物包括适于接收车辆的通道,且具有与其相连的障碍物,所述障碍物在阻拦位置和非阻拦位置之间可移动,所述阻拦位置用于阻挡所述通道的至少一部分以帮助保护所述建筑物内的远程物体,所述非阻拦位置用于较少的阻挡,所述安全系统包括:
邻近所述通道布置的车辆传感器,其中所述车辆传感器判定邻近所述通道的所述车辆的存在;
邻近所述通道布置的障碍物传感器,其中所述障碍物传感器判定所述障碍物是否处于所述阻拦位置;
判定建筑物内的远程物体是否处于邻近通道的某个区域内的远程物体传感器;以及
对所述障碍物传感器、所述车辆传感器和所述远程物体传感器进行响应的报警系统,其中:
i)所述报警系统提供对所述障碍物传感器判定所述障碍物不在阻拦位置并且所述车辆传感器判定所述车辆不邻近所述通道进行响应的报警信号;并且
ii)所述报警系统提供响应所述障碍物不在所述阻拦位置、所述车辆未邻近所述通道、且所述远程物体处于邻近所述通道的某个区域内同时发生时的警告信号;其中,所述报警信号有别于所述警告信号,并且,所述车辆传感器通过判定所述车辆是否在所述通道的某一距离内来判定所述车辆的存在。
2.根据权利要求1所述的安全系统,其特征在于:所述建筑物包括不仅打开和关闭所述通道而且用作所述障碍物的门板。
3.根据权利要求1所述的安全系统,其特征在于:所述建筑物包 括用于打开和关闭所述通道的门板,且所述障碍物能够相对于所述门板移动。
4.根据权利要求1所述的安全系统,其特征在于:所述建筑物包括用于打开和关闭所述通道的门板,且所述障碍物配接到所述门板。
5.根据权利要求1所述的安全系统,其特征在于:进一步包括邻近于所述通道的装卸跳板,其中所述障碍物是所述装卸跳板的一部分。
6.根据权利要求1所述的安全系统,其特征在于:所述报警系统包括失效开关,且所述报警信号包括可视信号和有声信号,其中所述失效开关有效地连接以使所述有声信号消声。
7.根据权利要求1所述的安全系统,其特征在于:所述报警信号为可视信号,且所述警告信号为有声信号,由此所述报警信号表示潜在的危险情况何时可能存在于装载码头上,且所述警告信号表示更紧迫的危险何时可能存在。
