Abstract

本发明提供一种背光模组和采用该背光模组的液晶显示装置。该背光模组包括至少一发光二极管和一具有一出光面的导光板,其中该导光板收容该发光二极管,并与该发光二极管成形为一体,该导光板出光面具有棱镜环结构,该棱镜环形成一环形衍射光栅,该棱镜环中心与该发光二极管位置相对应。该背光模组结构紧凑,亮度高。

Description

背光模组及采用该背光模组的液晶显示装置
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种背光模组和采用该背光模组的液晶显示装置,特别是一种具有发光二极管的背光模组和采用该背光模组的液晶显示装置。
【背景技术】
液晶显示装置具有高画质、无辐射、体积小、重量轻和省电等优点,已广泛应用于各种信息、通讯、消费性电子产品中,并且逐渐取代阴极射线管成为显示装置的主流。然而,大多数液晶显示装置相关产品,由于液晶面板自身不能发光,需一背光模组为其提供光源,以实现显示功能。背光模组一般采用冷阴极萤光灯管或发光二极管作为光源,尤其发光二极管由于具有无污染、长寿命、耐震动和抗冲击的特点,已广泛应用于各种光源照明系统。
请参阅图1,是一种现有技术背光模组的结构示意图。该背光模组100包括一光源110、一导光板120、一反射片130和一扩散片140。该导光板120具有一入光面121、一底面122和一出光面123,该底面122与出光面123相对设置,该入光面121与底面122和出光面123相邻设置,且该导光板内部具有网点结构124。该光源110是发光二极管,其朝向导光板120入光面121设置。该反射片130与导光板120底面122相对设置。该扩散片140设置于导光板120的出光面123上。
背光模组100的光源110发出的光束经入光面121射入导光板120,一部分光束由该导光板120内部的网点结构124反射后出射,另一部分穿透导光板120底面122,再由反射片130反射进入导光板120后出射。然后该导光板出射光束再由扩散片140进行扩散。
然而该背光模组的光源和导光板组装时易存在组装公差,且两者设置相对独立,结构松散;另外该光束由导光板入光面射入,再经导光板内部的网点结构反射转向,其传播距离长,易产生能量损失,因此光利用率低。
【发明内容】
为克服现有背光模组结构松散和亮度低的问题,有必要提供一种结构紧凑和亮度高的背光模组。
为克服现有液晶显示装置结构松散和亮度低的问题,有必要提供一种结构紧凑和亮度高的液晶显示装置。
一种背光模组,其包括至少一发光二极管和一具有一出光面的导光板,其中该导光板收容该发光二极管,并与该发光二极管成形为一体,该导光板出光面具有棱镜环结构,该棱镜环形成一环形衍射光栅,该棱镜环中心与该发光二极管位置相对应。
一种液晶显示装置,其包括一液晶显示面板和一背光模组,该液晶显示面板与背光模组层叠设置,该背光模组包括至少一发光二极管和一具有一出光面的导光板,其中该导光板收容该发光二极管,并与该发光二极管成形为一体,该导光板出光面具有棱镜环结构,该棱镜环形成一环形衍射光栅,该导棱镜环中心与该发光二极管位置相对应。
另外本发明导光板出光面的棱镜环均呈菲涅尔棱镜环分布,且该导光板是以射出成形的方式与该发光二极管成形为一体。
本发明的导光板以射出成形的方式与发光二极管结合为一整体,其结构紧凑且亮度高,而且该导光板出光面为菲涅尔棱镜环分布的棱镜环结构,中心密,外围疏,该结构能对光束进行衍射,使出射导光板的光束均匀。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图2,是本发明背光模组一较佳实施方式的部分剖视图。该背光模组200包括一导光板220.一发光二极管210、一反射片230、一扩散片240和一软性电路板250。该导光板220具有一出光面223和一底面222。请同时参阅图3,该导光板220出光面223具有棱镜环结构,呈菲涅尔透镜(Fresnel lens)之棱镜环分布,该棱镜环中心密,外围疏,且各环带之间间距小,形成一环形衍射光栅。该发光二极管210收容于导光板220底部,并朝向该棱镜环中心设置。该反射片230与导光板220的底面222相对设置。该扩散片240与导光板220的出光面223相对设置。该软性电路板250连接该发光二极管210和外接电源(图未示)。
制造过程中,该发光二极管210先与软性电路板250连接,再将其置于导光板模具内,然后在该模具上射出成形导光板220,使该导光板220与该发光二极管210结合为一体。
该发光二极管210发出光束,该光束直接进入导光板220,该导光板220底面222产生的漏光再由反射片230反射至导光板220。进入该导光板220的光束由该出光面223棱镜环的环形光栅结构衍射,再均匀出射至扩散片240,并由扩散片240进行进一步的扩散。
本实施方式的发光二极管210收容于导光板220底部,并在导光板220射出成形时与之结合为一体,其结构紧凑、制程简单,且由于发光二极管210的光束大部分直接进入导光板220,因此亮度高。另外,该导光板220出光面223具有棱镜环的环形光栅结构,其能对光束进行衍射,从而出射导光板220的光束均匀。
本实施方式还可做如下变化,即该导光板220出光面223的棱镜环结构并不限于菲涅尔分布,只需各棱镜环之间间距小,能形成一环形衍射光栅即可。另外该发光二极管210与外接电源也可用一印刷式电路板连接。
请参阅图4,是本发明液晶显示装置一较佳实施方式的部分剖视图。该液晶显示装置400包括一液晶显示面板410和一背光模组,该背光模组设置在该液晶显示面板410的背侧,其中该背光模组采用背光模组200。
该发光二极管210发出光束,该光束直接进入导光板220,该导光板220底面222产生的漏光再由反射片230反射至导光板220。进入该导光板220的光束由该出光面223棱镜环的环形光栅结构衍射,再均匀出射至扩散片240,并由扩散片240进行进一步的扩散。然后光束由该背光模组200出射至该液晶显示面板410。
由于该发光二极管210收容于导光板220底部,并在导光板220射出成形时与之结合为一体,其结构紧凑、制程简单而且亮度高。另外,该导光板220出光面223具有棱镜环的环形光栅结构对光束进行衍射,因此出射导光板的光束均匀。

Claims (8)

1.一种背光模组,其包括至少一发光二极管和一具有一出光面的导光板,其特征在于:该导光板收容该发光二极管,并与该发光二极管成形为一体,该导光板出光面具有棱镜环结构,该棱镜环形成一环形衍射光栅,该棱镜环中心与该发光二极管位置相对应。
2.如权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于:该导光板是以射出成形的方式与该发光二极管结合为一体。
3.如权利要求1所述的背光模组,其特征在于:该导光板出光面的棱镜环从里至外是由密到疏分布。
4.如权利要求3所述的背光模组,其特征在于:该导光板出光面的棱镜环是呈菲涅尔棱镜环分布。
5.一种液晶显示装置,其包括一液晶显示面板和一背光模组,该液晶显示面板与背光模组层叠设置,该背光模组包括至少一发光二极管和一具有一出光面的导光板,其特征在于:该导光板收容该发光二极管,并与该发光二极管成形为一体,该导光板出光面具有棱镜环结构,该棱镜环形成一环形衍射光栅,该棱镜环中心与该发光二极管位置相对应。
6.如权利要求5所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该导光板是以射出成形的方式与该发光二极管结合为一体。
7.如权利要求5所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该导光板出光面的棱镜环从里至外是由密到疏分布。
8.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该导光板出光面的棱镜环是呈菲涅尔棱镜环分布。
