Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种柔性流体密封容器(下文有时称之为“FFCV”)以及其制造方法,这种容器用于运送和容纳大量流体,具体地说是密度小于盐水的流体,更具体地说是淡水。
背景技术
众所周知柔性容器用于容纳和运送货物,具体地说是流体或可液化固体。在特别是盐水的水中使用容器运送这种液态货物也是广为人知的。此外,运送密度小于盐水的材料也很常见。如果液态货物的密度小于盐水的密度,则当部分填充或完全填满的袋子放置在盐水中拖运时,货物会给柔性输送袋提供浮力。货物的浮力使容器漂浮并使货物易于从一个海港装运到另一个海港。
如果货物是密度小于盐水的流体或可液化固体,就不需要使用硬式大型驳船、油轮或密封容器。而可以使用柔性密封容器将其从一个位置拖驳或牵引到另一个位置。这种柔性容器比刚性容器具有明显的优势。此外,如果适当地构造柔性容器,则在卸货后,可将柔性容器卷起或折叠并在回程中存放。
世界上许多地区都急需淡水。淡水是一种日用品,因此冰帽和冰山的开发正快速形成为较大商机。然而,无论从哪里取得淡水,将其经济地运送到预定目的地都为大家所关心。
例如,目前冰帽开发者要使用150,000吨容量的油轮来运输淡水。显然,这不但包括使用这种运输工具的成本,还包括其空载回程以装运新货物而增加的费用。而柔性密封容器在清空时能折叠并存放起来,例如,存放在将其拖驳到卸载点的拖船上,从而减少这方面的花费。
虽然具有这样的优点,经济效益还要求柔性容器运送的容积应足以解决运输费用。因此,将柔性容器造得越来越大。然而,虽然这些年有所进展,但这种容器依然存在技术问题。
发明内容
众所周知现有FFCVs的问题之一是,当在水中拖驳时其表现为缺乏稳定性。也就是说,拖驳时FFCVs容易出现正弦曲线运动及/或偏离航道现象,而干扰其平稳运输,并导致过度磨损与撕裂。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种用于稳定在水中拖驳的FFCV的有效系统和方法。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种容易变化的FFCV织物结构,以适应FFCV可能的变化需求。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种容易检查结构中接缝的FFCV织物结构。
综上所述,根据本发明的FFCV至少包括一个由织物构成的节段。该织物的两端被卷边并连接在一起,以形成大致为圆筒形的组件。接合部位形成龙骨,织物的端部沿着该接合部位相连接,当FFCV置于水中时,龙骨大致面向下方,以使得龙骨在水面之下。龙骨用于稳定整个FFCV。

具体实施方式
本发明所提出的FFCV10需用非渗透性的织物管件构成。该管件的结构可以改变。例如,如图2所示,FFCV包括具有基本一致的直径(周长)并且在各端14和16上都密封的管件12。各端14和16可以用许多方法来密闭、夹紧和密封。本发明提供一种用于装载和卸载货物(例如淡水)的装置。由材料节段或条带18所制得的不渗透结构十分柔软,从而可折叠或卷起,以供运输和存放。
在设计FFCV以承受施加于其上的负载时,应该考虑某些因素。关于这方面,在2001年4月11日共同申请的发明名称为“FlexibleFluid Containment Vessel”的第09/832,739号美国专利申请中,除阐明了与FFCV有关的其他所需特征之外,还详细阐明了这些因素,以及织物可用的材料、织物结构和可用的涂料、以及向织物施加涂料以使织物不可渗透的方法,该专利以引用方式并入本文。因此,在此不再重复对其的进一步讨论,而是参照所述申请案的内容。
本发明的装置还可以应用于如2001年7月18日提出共同申请的第09/908,877号美国专利所披露的螺旋成形FFCV,其发明名称为“Spiral Formed Flexible Fluid Containment Vessel”,该专利以引用方式并入本文。虽然在该专利中讨论了用于将这些缠绕条带连接在一起以形成FFCV的装置与方法,但其所有或部分连接方法的替代方案已披露在前文首先述及的专利申请案中。例如,在FFCV的高负载部分中,通常为前端与后端,可以使用一种方法。而在应力不大的位置则可以使用另一种方法。
此外,参照2001年8月3日提出申请的发明名称为“End Portionsfor a Flexible Fluid Containment Vessel and a Method of Making theSame”的第09/921,617号美国专利申请,该专利申请涉及FFCV端部可采用的结构,以及在2001年8月7日提出的发明名称为“Coatingfor a Flexible Fluid Containment Vessel and a Method of Making theSame”的第09/923,936号美国专利,该专利申请披露了织物的其他结构以及其可用的涂料。第09/921,617号和第09/923,936号专利在此以引用方式并入本文。
织物18可以是拼缝织物以制成FFCV,可以是缠绕条带或适合于此目的的其他结构。例如,该织物可制成其一个维度等于该FFCV周长的平织织物的节段,该节段形成为管状并与其他如此形成的节段连接。织物结构的变化可以有多种。
现在参照图3,其是示出根据本发明所形成的FFCV组件的透视图。如图中所见,提供一块矩形平织织物20。织物的两个相对端部22a与22b被卷边,以使其可以通过缝合、烧结、烧灼、胶粘、粘结、重叠、钉合及/或任何其他适合的连接方式来连接。在端部22a和22b连接后,FFCV组件大致为圆筒形。
连接两端部的优选方法包括使用“马戏团帐篷”类型的缝合方式(“circus tent”type of stitching),即折边缝合(hemming stitch)、半十字缝合(half-cross stitch)或其他类似方法,这些端部缝合在一起,然后缝缀由两组分反应性树脂系统覆盖。覆盖层可以是用粘合剂层合的鞘层,或经喷涂施加的可固化液体涂料,但并不局限于此。用于接缝的优选覆盖材料为两组分聚氨酯。此外,覆盖层优选施加在通常为圆筒形的组件的内表面24a上,而不是外表面24b上,以形成牢固的水密封,同时可以从FFCV外部看见缝缀,并可接近。通过构造具有可从外部看到并可接近的缝缀的组件,将有助于接缝的检查与维护。
图4示出通过马戏团帐篷缝缀28所形成的接缝26。图中包括两组分覆盖层30,但已将其剥开以露出下面的缝缀。如图所示,平织织物20的两端22a与22b被卷边,并且包括用于缝合的孔。如上所述,优选可从FFCV组件的外部看见缝缀。
参照图5,其示出一种部分由类似于图3所示的节段所构成的FFCV 32。更具体地说,在图5中所示出的FFCV包括四个这种节段34、36、38和40。这些节段连接在一起,以形成FFCV的主体,该主体整体上大致为圆筒形。连接这些节段的一个方法是使用与结合图3所描述的用于形成各节段相同的缝合和覆盖技术。虽然如此,但应该注意,对于本技术领域内的普通技术人员而言,根据所披露的内容,可使用许多替代技术来连接这些节段。
此外,该FFCV包括头部节段42、尾部节段44、头部帽盖46与尾部帽盖48。尾部节段和头部节段都形成为类似于图3的节段方式,但与之不同的是该尾部和头部节段可不由矩形平织织物片所形成的,而是优选由弧形织物片形成。在由弧形织物片形成的情况下,尾部和头部节段通常为非圆筒状。以与这些主体节段互相连接的相同方式,尾部和头部节段、以及帽盖可以连接到整个主体。
无论哪种情况,各节段34~44都包括分别以34s~44s代表的龙骨状的接缝。对齐这些接缝,以使其形成沿着FFCV较长部分延伸的单一龙骨50。当将FFCV放在水中时,龙骨大致面向下方,以使得龙骨在水面之下。当FFCV被拖曳时,龙骨可以通过这种方式来提供稳定性,而减少不需要的蛇行和/或偏离航道现象。
要注意的是,如果FFCV没有浮起,则需在织物的内表面、外表面或是双面上提供发泡涂料,或者使用前述申请案中所描述的方式来涂覆织物,以使织物浮起。
考虑到FFCV的密闭特性,如果想要运输淡水,则作为其内侧覆盖/涂布加工处理的一部分,可以提供包括杀菌剂或防霉剂的涂料,以避免产生细菌、或霉菌、或其他污染物。
此外,由于日光对于织物有分解作用,所以考虑到这方面,FFCV可以包括防紫外线成分作为其涂料的一部分,或作为构成织物所用纤维的一部分。
虽然本发明根据其特定的具体实施例加以描述,但是对于本领域技术人员来说,可以容易地对上述实施方案进行多种修改和改进,或应用于其他领域,而不偏离本发明的目的、精神和范围。所有这些改动均在本发明权利要求范围内。
Claims (22)
1.一种柔性流体密封容器,用于水上运送包括流体或可液化材料的货物,所述柔性流体密封容器包括:
至少一个节段,所述节段通过连接一片织物的两端而形成,使节段形成为大致圆筒形,在所述织物的两端连接的接合部位处具有接缝,所述接缝在所述节段上形成龙骨,其中所述龙骨形成为沿着所述柔性流体密封容器较长部分延伸的单一龙骨,当将所述柔性流体密封容器放在水中时,所述龙骨大致面向下方,以使得所述龙骨在水面之下;以及
用于密封大致为圆筒形的所述节段的开口端的构件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中所述织物的两端的连接包括将所述织物的两端缝合到一起。
3.根据权利要求2所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中的缝合方式选自由折缝缝合以及半十字缝合组成的组。
4.根据权利要求1所述的柔性流体密封容器,还包括所述接缝的覆盖层,以使流体不能透过所述接缝。
5.根据权利要求4所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中所述覆盖层由两组分聚氨酯组成的材料形成。
6.根据权利要求4所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中所述节段具有内部和外部,以及所述覆盖层施加于所述节段的内部上,使得从所述柔性流体密封容器外部仍然可看见所述接缝。
7.根据权利要求1所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中所述柔性流体密封容器包括多个节段,各节段均通过连接一片织物的两端而形成为在织物的两端连接的接合部位处具有接缝的大致圆筒形,连接所述节段,以形成整体上大致为圆筒状的主体;以及,包括用于密封所述整体上大致为圆筒状的主体的开口端的密封构件。
8.根据权利要求7所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中将所述节段的所述接缝对齐,以沿着所述整体上大致为圆筒状的主体形成龙骨。
9.根据权利要求7所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中所述用于密封所述在整体上大致为圆筒状主体的开口端的所述密封构件包括通常为非圆筒形的节段和帽盖。
10.根据权利要求1所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中用于密封所述大致为圆筒形的节段的开口端的所述构件包括通常为非圆筒形的节段和帽盖。
11.根据权利要求1所述的柔性流体密封容器,其中所述织物是流体不渗透的平织织物。
12.一种形成用于水上运送包括流体或可液化材料的货物的柔性流体密封容器的方法,所述方法包括以下步骤:
至少形成一个节段,所述节段通过连接一片织物的两端形成,使得所述节段形成为大致圆筒形的节段,在所述织物的两端连接的接合部位处具有接缝,所述接缝在所述节段上形成龙骨,其中所述龙骨形成为沿着所述柔性流体密封容器较长部分延伸的单一龙骨,当将所述柔性流体密封容器放在水中时,所述龙骨大致面向下方,以使得所述龙骨在水面之下;以及
密封所述大致为圆筒形的节段的开口端。
13.根据权利要求12所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,其中连接所述织物的两端的步骤包括将所述织物的两端缝合在一起。
14.根据权利要求13所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,其中所述缝合步骤包括的缝合方式选自由折缝以及半十字缝合组成的组。
15.根据权利要求12所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,还包括覆盖所述接缝以使流体不能透过所述接缝的步骤。
16.根据权利要求15所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,其中所述覆盖步骤包括提供由两组分聚氨酯组成的材料形成的覆盖层。
17.根据权利要求15所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,其中所述节段具有内部和外部,以及所述覆盖步骤包括在所述节段的内部覆盖所述接缝,以使从所述容器的外部仍可看见所述接缝。
18.根据权利要求12所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,还包括以下步骤:
提供多个节段,各节段均通过连接一片织物的两端而形成,以使所述节段为在所述织物的两端连接的接合部位处具有接缝的大致圆筒形;
连接所述节段,以形成整体上大致为圆筒状的主体;以及
密封所述整体上大致为圆筒状的主体的开口端。
19.根据权利要求18所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,还包括对齐所述节段的所述接缝的步骤,以沿着所述整体上大致为圆筒状的主体,形成龙骨。
20.根据权利要求18所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,其中密封所述整体上大致为圆筒形的主体的开口端的所述步骤包括使用通常为非圆筒形的节段和帽盖。
21.根据权利要求12所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,其中密封所述大致圆筒形的节段的开口端的步骤包括使用通常为非圆筒形的节段和帽盖。
22.根据权利要求12所述的柔性流体密封容器的形成方法,其中所述织物是流体不渗透的平织织物。
