Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及白色发光照明系统,包括蓝色或UV发光二极管和包括黄色发光荧光体的涂层.
背景技术
传统的用于产生白光的LED照明系统典型地包括LED或荧光体LED.使用LED地的照明系统通过组合出各种不同的红色、绿色和蓝色LED的组合来产生白光.基于荧光体LED的照明系统通过使用蓝色或UV光LED顶部上的一种或多种不同的发光荧光体材料将所发出的一部分蓝色或UV光转换成波长较长的光来产生白光.如果使用的蓝光LED,则荧光体应当发黄光,以获得白光.如果使用UV光LED,则应当施加额外的荧光体,这一荧光体将部分UV光转换成蓝光,例如BaMgAl10O17:Eu荧光体.
与带有黄色发光荧光体的蓝光LED相比,使用带有蓝色和黄色发光荧光体的UV光LED的优点是,首先不太容易受到由存在于LED中的荧光体量的变化造成的颜色变化的影响.
一般来说,与基于LED的照明系统相比,用基于荧光体LED的照明系统产生白光比较容易,因为荧光体LED不需要进行混合并且材料成本较低(它们是自身混合的).
公知的方法是使用带有黄色发光荧光体的蓝色LED,该荧光体是铈掺杂的钇铝石榴石Y3Al5O12:Ce,也称为YAG:Ce.
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种可供选用的与蓝色或UV LED一起使用以便获得白光LED的黄色发光荧光体,并且所获得的白光LED可以具有更好的颜色或效率特性.
此外本发明提供了一种蓝色或UV发光二极管和包括黄色发光Sr2- x-y-zCayBazSiO4:Eux荧光体的涂层,并且其中0<x<=0.06且0<(3y+z)<=0.5.最好0<x<=0.04,0<=y<=0.1和/或0<=z<=0.3.更好的情况是,0.01<=x<=0.03,0.01<=y<=0.06和/或0.03<=z<=0.25.测试证明,含有少量Ca、Ba和Eu的硅酸锶荧光体在大于550nm(黄色)的峰值发射波长下发光,这使得这样的荧光体适于期望的用途.
按照本发明,Sr的量占优,得到大于55Onm(黄色)的峰值发射波长,这使得将其与蓝色光混合并且获得仅由两种颜色成分组成的白色光成为可能.

具体实施方式
按照附图1,本发明的照明系统总的来说包括由蓝色或UV LED和至少一种发射一定光谱波长(颜色)的荧光体构成的荧光体LED 14,用来产生白光.LED 14是使用标准AlInGaN或AlInGaP工艺按照常规手段构成的,并且包括安装在用透明环氧树脂18填充的反射金属盘或反射体16上的LED芯片15.填充反射体16的环氧树脂18包含均匀混合于其中的一种或多种类型的发光荧光体材料的颗粒19.荧光体颗粒19将由LED芯片15发出的一部分光转换成不同光谱波长的光.
附图2表示Sr2-x-y-zCayBazSiO4:Eux型荧光体材料的五个测试实例的峰值发射波长.按照本发明,实例C、D和E可以用于与蓝色发光二极管进行组合,或者按照另外一种可选方案与UV发光二极管和蓝色发光荧光体组合,以产生白色光.
虽然前述发明是参照上述实例加以介绍的,但是可以对其进行各种不同的改造和改变,而不会超出本发明的思想.因此,所有这些改造和改变全都看作是处于所附的权利要求的范围内的.

Claims (10)

1. 一种白色发光照明系统,包括蓝色或UV发光二极管和包括具有大于550nm的峰值发射波长的黄色发光荧光体的涂层,其中该荧光体包括Sr2-x-y-zCayBazSiO4:Eux荧光体,并且其中0<x≤0.06且0<(3y+z)≤0.5。
2. 按照权利要求1所述的系统,其中0<x≤0.04。
3. 按照权利要求1或2所述的系统,其中0<y≤0.1。
4. 按照权利要求1或2所述的系统,其中0≤z≤0.3。
5. 按照前述权利要求1或2所述的系统,其中荧光体此外还包括铈掺杂钇铝石榴石(YAG:Ce)荧光体。
6. 按照前述权利要求1或2所述的系统,其中二极管是UV发光二极管,并且所述涂层此外还包括蓝色发光荧光体。
7. 按照权利要求6所述的系统,其中蓝色发光荧光体包括BaMgAl1-0O17:Eu荧光体。
8. 按照权利要求2所述的系统,其中0.01≤x≤0.03。
9. 按照权利要求3所述的系统,其中0.01≤y≤0.06。
10. 按照权利要求4所述的系统,其中0.03≤z≤0.25。
