Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'ex emple, deux formes d'exécution du dispositif. La fig. 1 est une coupe verticale axiale partielle d'un récipient auquel est appliquée une première forme d'exécution ne donnant pas une fermeture absolument hermétique; Les fig. 2 et 3 sont des .plans des deux pièces de cette forme d'exécution; Les fig. 4 et 5 en sont deux coupes ver ticales; La fig. 6 est un plan du coulisseau cor respondant; La fig. 7 est une coupe verticale partielle montrant les deux pièces et le coulisseau assemblés;
Removable closure device for a container, in particular a container called a metallic packaging. The object of the invention is a removable closure device for a container, in particular a container called a metal packaging such as a barrel, can, box, for chemicals, food, etc.
It differs from other known removable closure devices in that it comprises two parts each having, on the one hand, on a part of their periphery a re edge intended to be applied on a rim by turning the opening of the container that the device must close, on the other hand, on another part of its perimeter a gutter receiving a rim of a slider, another rim of which is housed in the gutter of the other room, the two gutters and the the slide being established so that by moving in one direction the second in the first, one produces a bringing together of the two parts and an energetic application of the edges of the latter on the rim of the container.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the device. Fig. 1 is a partial axial vertical section of a container to which is applied a first embodiment which does not give an absolutely hermetic closure; Figs. 2 and 3 are plans of the two parts of this embodiment; Figs. 4 and 5 are two vertical sections; Fig. 6 is a plane of the corresponding slide; Fig. 7 is a partial vertical section showing the two parts and the slider assembled;
Fig. 8 is a partial axial vertical section of a container to which is applied the second embodiment which gives a hermetic closure; Figs. 9 and 10 are plans of the two parts of this embodiment; Fig. 11 is a vertical sectional view showing the two parts and the slider assembled.
The metal receptacle partially indicated in, fig. 1 has a rectangular or round cross section and has in, its upper bottom <I> a </I> a circular opening cal that the device must close in a way not absolutely hermetic. All around the opening is an upper rim b, the outer face of which is frustoconical and moves closer and closer to the axis of the opening a 'from top to bottom.
The embodiment of the device according to FIGS. 1 to 7 comprises the two parts c d made of metal, semicircular in shape and, on the whole, symmetrical to each other. They each consist of a bottom c 'or d' and a tapered lower edge c2 or d_ which runs along the semicircular edge of their bottom, the large base of which is at the top and which is intended to rest on the tapered outer face of the rim b.
The parts facing the two pieces <I> cd </I> are cut out at c3 d3 and are folded upwards so as to form two rectilinear gutters <I> ef </I> of U-shaped section, parallel to the edges rectilinear of these two parts. The part d is provided with a lip !, rectangular, projecting on its rectilinear edge and intended to pass under the rectilinear edge of the other part c, to hide the gap existing between the parts <I> c </I> d.
The slide g, used to assemble the two pieces <I> cd, </I> has, on its lower face, two rectilinear edges g 'g = intended to be housed in the gutters ef and going by approaching one on the other more and more from one end to the other; it is made of metal in one piece with its edges; at one of its ends is a hole h.
This embodiment is used as follows.
When you want to close the metal container, you pass the pieces e <I> d </I> horizontally over the rim <I> b </I> by moving them in the opposite direction to each other; until their flanges c 'd' apply to this flange b and the lip i is partially housed under the part d with which it is in contact. We then place the slider y on the gutters <I> e f </I> by inserting its edges into them from left to right.
Thanks to the trapezoidal arrangement of g, one thus produces an increasingly large approximation of the two parts <I> c </I> d, whose edges <I> c '</I> d' apply energetically. on the ledge b. street once the slide driven from left to right to refusal, the closing operation is completed.
If desired, we can pass through the hole h of the slide g a flexible connecting member connected to the container a and seal it, so that it becomes immediately apparent that the container has been opened.
When you want to open the container, you just have to push the slide g from right to left to release the two parts <I> c d </I>, the removal of which releases the opening cc '. As can be seen, this form of execution, despite its simplicity, allows easy and rapid closing and opening of the container.
The rim of the container could have another arrangement, it could, for example, consist only of a frustoconical collar whose large base is at the top.
The second embodiment (fig. 8 to 11) also comprises the two parts cd and the slide y, the part d not being provided with the lip i and having, in addition, an internal metal shutter in, intended for ensure a tight seal. For this purpose, the shutter is provided, on its periphery, with a rim which has a cross section in an inverted <B> L </B>, is housed in. the opening a 'and the upper branch of which rests on the rim b.
To stoppering the container, we first place the shutter na in the opening a ', then the parts <I> c d </I> on it and; finally the slide <I> g </I> which is driven out thoroughly. In this way, the <B> MI </B> rim of the <I> an </I> shutter is strongly applied by the <I> cd </I> parts over its entire circumference on the rim b and gives a tight closure.
The shutter <B> ni </B> could be arranged so as to apply with hard friction in the opening of the container.
The two parts may not be exactly symmetrical. Their edges and their gutters may not have come from manufacture with them, the first few wind not being exactly on the edges of these parts, but well a little inside; as for the seconds, instead of being substantially parallel to the closing position, they can go away somewhat from one another from one of their ends to the other; in this case the edges of the slide may be parallel to one another; these edges may not be manufacturing virtues with the slide.
The opening of the receptacle may have a shape different from the circular shape and be for example oval.
The container may not be a so-called metal packaging container.
