Description

  

  Dispositif de fermeture pour boîtes d'emballage et récipients similaires.    L'objet de la présente invention est un  dispositif de fermeture pour boîtes     d'embal-          age    et récipients similaires. Suivant l'in  vention, le dispositif comporte un couvercle  à fond     déformable    destiné à être placé sur le  col d'un récipient, ce couvercle ayant des       parties    de serrage latérales disposées pour  pouvoir s'écarter dudit col ou se resserrer sur  lui suivant qu'une pression est exercée sur le  fond     ou.    sur les parties latérales du cou  vercle.  



  Une forme d'exécution du dispositif ob  jet de l'invention, appliquée à une boîte  d'emballage, est représentée, à titre d'exem  ple, au dessin annexé.  



  La.     fig.    1 en est une coupe verticale, le  dispositif se trouvant en position de ferme  ture;  La     fig.    2 en est une même coupe, mais  avec .le dispositif se trouvant en position  d'ouverture;  La     fig.    3 est une vue en perspective du  couvercle enlevé, et    La     fig.    4 une vue analogue de la. boîte  sans couvercle.  



  Dans les figures du dessin, 6 désigne     '.e     col d'une boîte métallique 2. Le dispositif  de fermeture comporte un couvercle métal  lique 1, dont le fond flexible peut être in  curvé vers l'intérieur ou vers l'extérieur  grâce à la présence .d'un bossage 7. lie bord  latéral du couvercle 1 est entaillé de fentes  verticales 8 et constitue de la sorte des par  ties de serrage en forme de .griffes 10. L'ex  trémité inférieure de ce bord possède un re  bord circulaire creux 5 disposé pour épouser  la forme d'un bossage circulaire en relief 12  prévu au col 6 du récipient 2. Un disque  d'étanchéité 4 garnit le côté     intérieur    du  fond du couvercle.  



  Le fonctionnement du dispositif décrit  est le suivant:  On place le dispositif sur le col du réci  pient, le fond du couvercle étant poussé  vers l'intérieur dans la position représentée  à la     fig.    2. Dans cette position du fond les  fentes 8 s'ouvrent et les griffes 10 sont écar-           tées    laissant le diamètre du rebord 5 assez  grand pour passer sur le bossage 12 du col  du récipient.

   Quand le     dispositif    est :ainsi  mis en place, on opère une pression sur le  bord latéral -du couvercle; cette pression pro  voque la flexion du fond de celui-ci vers       l'extérieur    et applique     fortement    les griffes  10 du couvercle sur le bossage circulaire 12  du récipient, provoquant ainsi une fermeture  étanche, grâce au disque d'étanchéité 4 in  terposé entre le fond du couvercle et la tran  che supérieure du bord du col et qui peut  par exemple être en carton, imprégné ou non,  les griffes 10     faisant    ainsi     fonction    de res  sort, en épousant     jointivement    .la forme du  col 6 ,du récipient, de façon à bien fixer le  couvercle à l'état de fermeture.  



  Pour l'ouverture du récipient, on opère  une pression centrale sur le fond du cou  vercle 1 pour le faire s'incurver vers l'inté  rieur. La flexion de ce fond entraîne les  griffes latérales 10 du couvercle qui s'écar  tent d'entre elles, le diamètre du rebord 5 se  trouve ainsi agrandi et le dispositif est libéré  de sa     fixation    au col -du récipient.  



  Le dispositif décrit et représenté offre  l'aspect d'un couvercle ordinaire dont le       pourtour    est -uni -de fentes verticales et  dont     l'extrémité    du bord est munie d'une  gorge circulaire. Il présente l'avantage de  donner instantanément, et sans le secours  d'instrument une ouverture et une     fermeture     étanche. Ceci est particulièrement avanta  geux si le dispositif décrit est appliqué à des  boîtes d'usage domestique ou contenant des  produits devant être à l'abri de l'air libre.

  In the figures of the drawing, 6 denotes the neck of a metal box 2. The closure device comprises a lique metal cover 1, the flexible bottom of which can be curved inwards or outwards thanks to the presence .d'un boss 7. the lateral edge of the cover 1 is notched with vertical slots 8 and thus constitutes clamping parts in the form of .claws 10. The lower end of this edge has a circular edge. hollow 5 arranged to match the shape of a circular embossment 12 provided at the neck 6 of the container 2. A sealing disc 4 lines the inner side of the bottom of the cover.



  The operation of the device described is as follows: The device is placed on the neck of the container, the bottom of the cover being pushed inwards in the position shown in FIG. 2. In this bottom position the slits 8 open and the claws 10 are separated leaving the diameter of the rim 5 large enough to pass over the boss 12 of the neck of the container.

   When the device is: thus in place, pressure is applied to the side edge of the cover; this pressure causes the bottom of the latter to bend towards the outside and strongly applies the claws 10 of the cover on the circular boss 12 of the container, thus causing a tight closure, thanks to the sealing disc 4 interposed between the bottom of the cover and the upper edge of the edge of the neck and which can for example be made of cardboard, impregnated or not, the claws 10 thus acting as a res out, by jointly following the shape of the neck 6 of the container, so as secure the cover in the closed state.



  To open the container, central pressure is applied to the bottom of the cover 1 to cause it to curve inwards. The bending of this bottom causes the side claws 10 of the cover which move away from them, the diameter of the rim 5 is thus enlarged and the device is released from its attachment to the neck of the container.



  The device described and shown has the appearance of an ordinary cover whose periphery is -uni -de vertical slits and whose end of the edge is provided with a circular groove. It has the advantage of giving instantaneously, and without the aid of an instrument, a tight opening and closing. This is particularly advantageous if the device described is applied to boxes for domestic use or containing products which must be protected from the open air.

CLAIM Closing device for packaging boxes and similar receptacles, characterized by a cover intended to be placed on the neck of a receptacle and comprising a deformable bottom which can be curved between two end positions and clamping parts the side arranged to be able to move away .du said neck or tighten on it depending on whether pressure is exerted on the bottom or on the side parts of the cover.
